Wandu Amsterdam is a great cafe to enjoy a coffee or enjoy a delicious lunch/brunch. The atmosphere is warm, with elegant decoration, combining sobriety and green touches that invite relaxation. The service is attentive, and the menu offers varied and creative options, perfect to satisfy all desires. Whether for a friendly moment with friends or a solo break, it’s a place where we like to return.

I cycle past Wandu almost every day. That's because I live around the corner. I've never gone in for a coffee. That's because I live around the corner. And I'm not a big fan of hipster places. Still, I give Wandu five stars. As a compliment to the person who writes the comments under the reviews of people who are deeply offended and only give one star. I think it's really great to just respond very calmly and politely. Especially because the criticism often (always?) makes no sense at all. Maybe I'll hit the brakes after all. We got the Ice Drip and V60 from him, which are delicious and their prices are a bit expensive

Very tasty coffee, various vegan milk alternatives, but also quite small portions. You can sit comfortably, but there aren't that many tables.

The staffs were quite rude, they gave an attitude to the customers before us and they weren’t very friendly to us. The drinks were okayish. Would not come back here again :/

This has truly become a pleasant addition to the neighborhood. A nice, fresh place with a friendly owner, where I like to drop by for a chat. I mainly come for their matcha cookies and espresso tonics. I would prefer to use a laptop every now and then, but their policy on this ensures that it remains the relaxing place that it is. Not many places have that anymore.

The place is simply charming and cozy. Every detail offered reflects the highest quality. Without a doubt, it is a location I will always make a point to visit.

OK place. Cappuccino is made extremely hot, burning your tongue and any protein molecule the milk has. Apple pie is warm but soggy. Service is lovely and calm. Interior is cold and lifeless.

I went there for the ceramics exhibition of Gillian Smith, had a great cappuccino! Atmosphere is relaxed and intimate, perfect for a cozy Sunday morning.

Good coffee & cool vibe! There was a ceramic art exhibition going in the space downstairs by art ceramic studios which made my experience extra special. A very warm and welcoming host / teacher showed me the wonderful work made by her students. Very impressive. Will definitely come back again!

Wandu Café is such a great spot! The atmosphere is super calm and cozy, making it perfect to relax. The coffee is excellent – if you love good coffee, this is the place for you. The food is also amazing, made with really fresh ingredients from local shops, which makes everything taste extra good. Plus, it's pet-friendly, so you can bring your dog along! Overall, it's a 10/10. Whether you're into coffee or just love good food, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Horrible PLACE! Never back again. They dont say you have a limit time to work with your laptop and they kick you out without even caring if you say you need 5 more minutes. Expensive and horrible atmosphere!!

I sat down for a coffee. I opened my laptop, but I was only allowed to sit here for half an hour. I was asked to leave the cafe EXACTLY with 30 minutes left while no one was sitting there.

The best matcha I’ve ever had at a cafe. Very high quality. And the ristretto is amazing as well. Not too bitter with a nice nutty aftertaste.

I had a great time over there! The atmosphere with super friendly service, delicious matcha and cinnamon bum. They allowed laptops for 30 minutes, what was a good time to work on my things and also enjoy my match without a screen.

A really nice and cozy spot. There is not a single bad thing I can say about this place. The staff was amazing. The location is cute and spacious . They even have some tables outside. It’s also a great place if you want to have a quite space to work. As for the food, everything was fresh and delicious. The coffee was good as well. The order took longer to prepare than expected.

An honest and natural kitchen. Literally everything is incredibly tasteful. The fresh quiches, delicious salads and the pastries are 👌🏻. Wandu radiates a very chill atmosphere, also reflected by the kind people working there.

Disrespected and belittled a fifty year old couple who wanted some coffee. The food is bland, and even the hint of taste it has is very cheap. Don’t bother!!

Where should I start? With the food, the owner, or the massive intoxication I got after they completely neglected my lactose intolerance? Never again.

A nice place on one of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam to relax with a good cappuccino or oat milk.

The coffee is nice, but the people that work there are so unfriendly… sometimes I think they do it on purpose and try to be extra slow just to make you wait longer… would be nice to see the staff smile more or at least say hello or something

7 euros for an ordinary matcha latte with plant-based milk - by far the most expensive I have had in Amsterdam. Not worth it.

A very nice place to have a coffee. For plant lovers and funs of minimalism. Quiete and relaxing. The Staff was kind. The flavor of the coffee not my favorites one.

This little coffee shop had really great open faced Korean inspired sandwiches. The Ssamjang was really delicious. It is a spread made from tomatos and mushrooms. It wasn’t too spicy but gave a good enough kick. The pumpkin sandwich was a very mild flavor but a nice combination with the goat cheese and the pomegranate seeds. Would recommend the ssamjang though!

My favourite matcha latte with nekohama matcha. I love it! Just a bit more expensive than other matcha latte which is a bit disappointing.

The best coffee we have found so far in Amsterdam, fabulous service, and the red velvet cake was excellent.

The interior is very nice but the matcha was a disappointment. It really lacked the flavor and the depth of taste of Japanese matcha. For 7 euro, I expected a bit more.

Lots of speciality coffee drinks that look delicious. I had the flat white with oat milk and my husband had the filtrado. We also tried the homemade cinnamon buns and sadly they couldn’t make it for a photo, too yummy 😆. Beautiful shop too!

Nice spot but coffee is overpriced. I mean I live here and I now the prices but here was really unbelievable. Also the milk of my cortado wasn't done properly. Btw the coffee is good.

Matcha with oat milk was not as good as it said everywhere…Tried matcha from Japan multiple times,price is lower and quality is same/better. The place itself is nice !

Cozy place for a morning coffee. Friendly staff who even brought a bowl of water for the dog. Have been on the hunt to find a cozy cafe to just sit and enjoy a coffee in the city and this place hits the mark.

You know that café where you walk in and lose track of time? From the cozy decor to the impeccable service, and of course, the matcha latte prepared with special techniques. It's my favorite café in Amsterdam.

The best matcha in town, for matcha lovers don't miss trying the matcha cake as well... I love the whole atmosphere of Wandu, and especially the charisma of all the staff and the owner's attention in explaining the entire story behind its concept. I highly recommend it and can't think of any other meeting point besides Wandu.

Did not think when I walked by the matcha would be this good!!! Omg super soft and silky and ughhh so sad I cannot source it here in London 😢 And also really large cup just suited for my love for matcha haha. The store is nicely decorated and has a really cozy slow vibe, good for relaxing and reading books on the weekend morning if not too busy. Would defo come by again for another matcha when in town!!!

The 30mn laptop limit during the week (no laptop weekends) was a bit surprising specially since there were 3 people in the café. Otherwise good matcha latte and comfy setting.

If you want an excellent coffee in a beautiful cafe served by a great host then Wandu will be perfect for you.
