I've ordered food for delivery here a few times now. The curries are always very tasty, but unfortunately, the naan is disappointing every time. That's why, from now on, I'm going for rice every time.

Ordered food several times, definitely one of the better ones in Amersfoort!

So friendly, always helped well, the food is also super tasty.

I ordered butter chicken, but it didn't resemble butter chicken at all. Delivery was fast, though, but that's of little use when the food looks like nothing.

Ordered the spicy lamb curry online, it was absolutely delicious! I can handle spice but even for me it was insanely spicy which I loved! Pair it with a mango lassi and you have yourself a great evening. Would order again Garlic naan could be a bit more garlicky but still was nice. Fast delivery too

Despite all the bad comments I want to say that the food is very good, service is always quick and people are working hard and are available most of the week days. There is although one thing I noticed that could be improved. I realize recently there is a change in the menu. I don’t like it and I had a small portion of meat in my last meal. I live the place but not the recent change in the menu.

Just not good enough... weak flavor, plastic container torn (plastic in food), and eventually most of it thrown away.

Today I ordered a Tandoori Lamb Tikka via Thuisbezorgd. Unfortunately, I received a dish with chicken instead of lamb. After contacting them by phone, I was told that the kitchen had confirmed that the correct order had been prepared. As a result, my complaint was not taken seriously, and no solution was offered. Furthermore, it is not mentioned anywhere that the dish is very spicy, even though this was indeed the case. That is important information for customers. Because it was not what I had ordered and I no longer had confidence in the restaurant's response, I ultimately threw the food straight into the trash. A waste of money. The service was very disappointing. Also, the tip I gave beforehand was absolutely undeserved in hindsight. Unfortunately, a very bad experience. I will not be ordering here again anytime soon and cannot recommend the restaurant based on this experience.

Dining as a local experience: eat as if you were at home. A restaurant with a neat appearance, cheerful green benches, and delicious Indian food. The welcoming reception makes it an ideal place to recharge after a day of shopping in the center of Amersfoort!

I ordered the vegetarian dinner for two from Indian Flavor for delivery, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was full of flavor, and we really enjoyed everything. A great option for a tasty vegetarian meal at home. I would definitely order from them again!

The place in Amersfoort for Indian food

Super delicious food, friendly people, halal and affordable. So, the perfect combination!

The food is simply not good. I ordered the menu with butter chicken and a lamb curry, two pieces of naan and other accompaniments. Both of the curries were very watery and were very underseasoned and bland. The butter chicken seemed more like a creamy pasta sauce. The lamb was very tough and full of sinew. The naan are very thick and seemingly undercooked, no sign of any char or anything. The mint sauce we got tasted very artifical, and again watery. Same for the raita. If it was cheaper it might have been serviceable, but I can cook better at home than this for a third of the price.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was poor. Additionally, I had to wait more than an hour before my order was delivered. I am very disappointed.

What incredibly delicious, juicy Tandoori chicken and lamb curry, served with particularly tasty rice and rotis. You have to create the atmosphere yourself, and that’s exactly what we did🌴 so definitely don't let the rather uninviting atmosphere put you off from what it’s really all about in the end: we ate here just the two of us and everything was a real treat. A third friend joined us for a taste. We really couldn't resist and within no time everything was almost gone when we took the photo👌🏽. Highly recommended👌🏽

Unfortunately, this was a one-time visit for me. The mango chutney and mint sauce tasted really chemical, not the delicious, real, pure flavors as they should. I missed the vegetables because of the yarani, and the papadum was tasteless too.

I usually really enjoy naan bread, but what was delivered here was of very low quality. There was also no difference to be tasted between the different types of naan bread. Rubbery is what I read somewhere else; that is a good description.

Ate here, it was really delicious. Everything was nice and hot, and the flavors were great. Good portions. The house wine wasn't bad either. I'll definitely be back.

The food was completely awful. The butter chicken tasted nothing like an authentic dish and tasted more like creamy tomato soup or even babi pangang. The naan bread was soggy and clearly not fresh. This is absolutely not how butter chicken and naan bread should taste. The food lacked any spiciness or quality and gave the impression of being undercooked. This was a very disappointing experience and did not meet expectations in any way.

I had 6 shrimp in a watery curry for €30...little flavor and too spicy...rice was too hard. The separate bowl with some noodles didn't taste good, along with some taupeh and green beans. I won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered food through Thuisbezorgd. It arrived a bit late, about fifteen minutes. But it was already mostly cold. I strongly suspect they're selling pork as lamb. The lamb certainly tasted like pork. The paneer was very dry, and the papadum quickly became tough. The portions were also on the small side. All in all, disappointing. I ordered from here on my birthday because the competitor was closed that day, but I won't be ordering again.

Next time you mess up a delivery adress dont yell at me to come “fast” outside(for your information your delivery driver was at Koestraat and not Koesteeg) if yelling at customers is your form of service I am never ordering here again. Very impolite.

The delivery was fast, the guy was nice. But the food was truly awful... It seemed like it had been out for days. Don't order from here!

Naan bread was gone, which is certainly possible. But then again, I can't find a good replacement. Rice or roti... Food also arrives at 7:45 instead of 6:30 PM.

Indian Flavour Amersfoort is a real taste sensation! Fresh, full of spices, and made with love. The naan is top-notch, the dishes pure, and the service super friendly. Unique Indian food like you won't find anywhere else in Amersfoort.

Placed an order today: the chicken madras sauce was soaking in oil. There were only four pieces of chicken in the entire container. I called, but they said that wasn't possible. I found that strange too, which is exactly why I called. She insisted it was impossible, but said she would discuss it with her boss and call me back. However, I never heard anything back. This was the last time; I gave them too many chances. Prices have gone up significantly, and the quality has deteriorated dramatically. See photo: the rest of the container is completely empty!

We have ordered online andI feel they are worst at recieving their customers. Please know the meaning of hospitality when you serve food to people! The tase is also not as requested by us. They asked for modifications and did not implement them. I would never reorder here! Disappointed as well!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I regularly order online and always make specific requests — especially asking for thin naan and for the food to be made Indian spicy. Despite mentioning this every time, they consistently ignore the instructions. It’s really disappointing that they don’t value customer preferences or feedback at all. It feels like they just make the food their own way, regardless of what you ask for. Poor customer service, and definitely not ordering again.

We often order from here, and it's usually delicious. Not today. The rice is watery and old (rotten rice), so we don't dare eat it. The chicken masala sauce is also too watery; it seems to have been topped up with water. And instead of jalfrezi, we got very spicy vindaloo. So the entire order is bad and incorrect. We have photos if you'd like to see them. I contacted Thuisbezorgd, but they can't refund or compensate me if the restaurant doesn't accept it. I find this very frustrating!

We didn't receive part of the food; we didn't feel like calling at that point because we were already late and hungry. The next day, I emailed the address on the receipt with a photo of the food and an explanation. No response. I emailed again after that, but no response. I was always satisfied with the food, quantity, and delivery, but since this year, I've been very disappointed. It's also quite expensive. Too bad. Leaving a review on the website is pointless because you can't post/submit it.

Ordered food; it was supposed to be delivered within 40 minutes. After an hour of calling, they told me the delivery driver was on his way. After another half hour, they called again and told me the delivery driver was on his way. The food arrived cold, and then they dared to say their food was never cold. What a terrible place. Renas Akoi Yesterday 30-7-2025 Ordered Chicken tikka tandoori with naan. Got a free bowl of chicken korma! How I enjoyed it! Fresh, deliciously warm, healthy food! I usually order at work, as if I were eating at home! Just a full meal! I also recommend seekh kebab (starter) with 2 naan and a can of coke, heavenly delicious! Chicken korma, vindaloo, madras, all delicious! ############ The following was 2 years ago I think. Today I ordered Fish Madras with naan. In one word DELICIOUS. I don't even like fish, but I had enough of chicken and lamb etc. so I thought fish. What a delicious dish! And the delivery guy...boys what a neat young man. I was really proud. I regularly order from Indian Flavour. Of course sometimes something goes a little differently than expected, but all in all almost a 10! Delicious food!

Ordered Indian curry chicken menu via Uber Eats, delivery was 45 mins later, salad was missed, called and owner didn’t say sorry but sent again, half hour later delivered again, but salad was not fresh as I supposed, tasted like pickles, see the photo if it looks fresh to any of you?

Ordered a vegetarian menu and unfortunately, as someone else also commented, it was way too spicy. We stopped eating because this is no longer fun. A waste of food and money. Initially they also forgot the sauces. Called and they brought it quickly. That was nice.

Typical Indian restaurant with the normal options. The food is basically tasty, not fantastic, but just fine. I order from here a few times a year, in the last order I bit on a large piece of metal (appears to be a bolt). Money was neatly refunded, but for me it was the last order. Mistakes can be made, but metal in my food is really unacceptable. Furthermore, the food is excellent and the prices are normal.

I ordered food from them through Uber Eats. I was super excited to try this one out, as I love Indian food and order it regularly. However this meal was definitely not freshly made. I can live with it being a day old but I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a week old. All the dishes I ordered were very salty. And the fish vindaloo, the fish in it was so old it was brittle and almost looked like chicken. It had a strong after taste. Unfortunately I don’t recommend Indian Flavour.

We always order the curry menu here. Super tasty, always fresh and warm. And you can eat from it for two days. Delivery is usually on time. Last time they were late and then we were called politely. Can happen. Definitely recommended!

Ordered a vegetarian menu via Uber Eats. All three dishes are really very spicy. There was therefore no difference in taste, and the food was not a pleasant experience. Only ate a quarter, threw the rest away. Shame!!

Placed an order at 4pm. Didn't come, called the delivery person. Indicates that it was at the wrong address, which of course was not opened because we do not live there. Called the business, who claim that the delivery person was at our house and we did not open the door. Now 2.5 hours later they indicate that they will still deliver the “cold food” if a delivery person is available. Ridiculous service!

Super friendly person on the phone. Just like the delivery person. Wanted to order extra chicken fillet with the roti. Delivery person was already on his way. No extra chicken was needed. There was enough in it to fill my belly and more than that. Delicious roti.

I ordered here about 5 times already and I can say the chicken butter is one of the best I’ve had in my entire life. Food is tasty and colourful. For me a delicacy.

The vegetarian roti did not taste like roti but like tomato puree with fish sauce. The rotivel was extremely sandy.

Our food was delivered about half an hour ago. Unfortunately they forgot the naan bread, which I think is a shame, because I'm really looking forward to it. Furthermore, the food is tasty.

I'm Indonesian. Lamb madrass here tastes like Rendang, and Lamb curry tastes like Gulai

hyper unmodern restaurant the food is super not luxurious and obscene, it reminds me of the dust of the road in India. The owners probably smell unpleasant themselves because I could trace it back into my chicken. The only spices they can use are probably spicy and hot things because they are not hot themselves and are not the prettiest. This is a 1/5 review because I feel diagonally ripped off because it was just really well-thumbed and I have to sit on the toilet tomorrow for this.

Great take away! And for a quick bite inside! Really tasty food, as it should be. The right taste for every dish. Not the Dutch way with cauliflower and peas if you understand what I mean. Not very decorated inside, but enough to sit quietly. Very good price/quality. Keep it that way!! On the right track!

The best Indian restaurant in the Amersfoort region.

They say they serve gluten-free, but I still get rumbling stomachs and complaints afterwards. The taste is nice, but there is certainly cross-contamination or amounts of gluten in dishes.

Placed an order via home delivery 2 weeks ago. The whole family became very ill the next day. I sent them an email to let them know because I don't like to immediately post a bad review. It can happen. However, I am sorry that there was no response to the email. I won't order from here again because I don't completely trust it anymore. With home delivery, you cannot post a review after a few days, which is strange.

Ordered catering for 40 people for a business meeting. Delicious Indian curries with Naan and Samosa, large quantities, everything delivered and placed in neat shaving dishes, on time and then everything was picked up again. We even delivered containers so that our employees could take some of what was left home with them. Thanks Rinku! Personally, we often get Roti or Indian at Indian Flavor, always very tasty and authentic flavors.

Pretty tasty for the price. But many positive reviews are not reliable. They ask for good reviews via a flyer, rewarded with a chance to win free food for a year. Not everything is authentically prepared. Roti, among other things, clearly came from the microwave. Owner reacts very strangely to feedback. It really can be better.

Great food, I have ordered food from here several times. It's really tasty. My friend's heritage is Surinamese and he also enjoys it very much. I recently picked up a large order from you for my birthday. This was packed beautifully and everything was delicious. Keema naan & the Barra with curry lamb🤩

Not a standard fast-food place, here you get a real meal and a lot of it for a low price, the quality is great and the taste even better because freshly seasoned food just does that to you!

Always good food here and plenty of choice. They also deliver quickly! Chicken masala, nan with cheese and roti chicken are my favorite!

Eten smaakt altijd goed en wordt goed warm bezorgd. Helaas een aantal keer meegemaakt dat er vertraging is door drukte, dit keer een uur. Zou fijn zijn als je daarover even gebeld wordt… Als je hen belt zijn ze wel altijd erg vriendelijk. Houd er dus rekening mee dat je niet te erg vasthoudt aan de bezorgtijd als je hier bestelt. Werd ook gebeld door de bezorger dat hij het niet kon vinden. Kan natuurlijk gebeuren, maar als het adres in Google Maps staat kun je het niet missen. Heb meermaals verzocht of hij dit wilde doen maar hij vroeg telkens om verbale instructies. Uiteindelijk gaf hij aan dat hij niet goed was met Google maps, dit lijkt mij persoonlijk wel handig als je bezorger bent… Hierdoor uiteindelijk nog bijna 20 minuten(!) langer moeten wachten. Porties zijn trouwens groot, dus je kunt op zich prima met z’n tweeën eten van bijvoorbeeld de butter chicken met rijst (aanrader)!

Niet twijfelen - bestellen! Vandaag voor het eerst besteld en ben erg onder de indruk. Het eten is *écht* vers en authentiek. Rotirol - rotivel zelf is zacht vers en totaal niet droog + inhoud goed in propositie en goed gekruid, waar voor je geld. Garlic naan was zacht. Nasi met kipfilet Ketjap erg goed op smaak, niet droog en goede portie. Kleine bakje bami mee besteld om te proberen: ook lekker en niet droog. Alles is super zorgvuldig ingepakt en bezorger was vriendelijk en ruim om tijd. Verwachting overtroffen! Wij gaan hier vaker bestellen. Complimenten aan de chef(s).

Altijd vriendelijk en altijd lekker, ik neem altijd butter chicken en deze is de lekkerste in Amersfoort en omgeving.

Ik had hun befaamde boterkip. Smaak en saus was weer geweldig. Dank jullie wel voor deze heerlijke maaltijd.

Heerlijk Indiaas eten! We hebben er nu een paar keer eten afgehaald en het stond steeds klaar op de afgesproken tijd. De currygerechten met kip zijn hier favoriet! De porties zijn groot, dus de volgende dag heb je ook nog een lekkere lunch :-)

Ik ben van huis uit de Indiase Surinaamse keuken gewend, maar ben culinair verrast door de heerlijke vegetarische roti, royale portie en fraai gekruid. De samosa was helaas iets te vettig. Genoten al met al, en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar in Amersfoort, aanrader !

Op aamrading van andere nu een aantal x afgehaaald... Het eten is heerlijk en op authentieke wijze bereid. Vooral een fan van de verschillende soorten Roti!

Eten laten bezorgen. De bezorging belde van tevoren hoelang 't ongeveer duurde. Rond die tijd kwamen ze met de auto op de bestemming. 2 vriendelijke mensen. Ze vroegen naar een goeie beoordeling. Na het te hebben gegeten van de bezorgde maaltijd, geef ik bij deze aan dat de maaltijd zeer smaakvol was en erg lekker. De sfeer heb ik niets op aan te geven i.v.m. bezorging.

This is a nice place with indian cusine. They have different options of curries, rice and bhaji. This place has sitting space and also a take away service. Liked the taste of food. Tried their thali with multiple options i.e. rice, matar paneer, daal and mix vegetable. Loved the experience. Good value for moneh. One plater is enough for 2 people.

Eten is duur, maar wel lekker. Met de sfeer buiten het restaurant lijkt het niet echt op Indian Flavour. Eerder op die lijpe Mocro Flavour.

We ordered online and picked up the food ourselves because they don't deliver outside of Amersfoort, which is fine, but so worth it, we keep coming back for more. Very authentic and delicious Indian food. I love that they serve very spicy hot dishes that's authentic. But once I ordered chicken vindaloo. I was like "zeer heet" must be for the Dutch. Hahaa was I wrong! My tongue was burning! It was very very spicy hot, so be warned. The briyanis are amazing! Just wish they cooked the chicken and lamb pieces in huge chunks instead of boneless filets. My other favourites are the gevulde bara's - omg, soooo good! And such generous servings! The samosas are also delicious - but please don't wrap it up in the black plastic trays because the tray melts into the hot samosas! That was the only problem I had, but the packaging for the rest of the food was perfectly done. Looking forward to our next order.
