Indian kitchen zaandam in Wijk 22 Zaandam West

It serves the purpose to provide Indian food in Zaandam. Food was average but the customer service is appreciated.

Chicken (butter chicken) was so tough and it looked purple inside because it was spoiled. I almost had to gag from this. I will never come back here again. I have already reported it to the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority because I do not want any customer to experience this.

Don't eat!!!! Be careful!!!! Very intimidating people! Food tastes bad and meat was rotten/purple When we asked for a solution she suddenly showed aggressive behavior and we were not allowed to leave the store. The store was locked and the police had to come to free us from the store 0 stars (if that was possible)!

Fantastic Indian food. No nonsense, but friendly and attentive service. Eating on site is a bit simple and you sit in the window. But the food and the people make it great. Recommended.

A concert in the Bullekerk prompted us to eat here. What a surprise! Despite the simple decor, we found the restaurant cozy. The service was very friendly and the food really fantastic. We have ordered extra portions to take with us, so that we can enjoy them at home (near Utrecht) in the coming days.

Never dined in but this is my favorite restaurant for delivery so far, I only knew one indian dish (chicken tikka masala) and every time I order I explored something knew and oh my god I discovered I love indian food! some of them very spicy but I love it! It’s so many flavors in your mouth, so many spices! samosa is literally my new obsession the other day I wanted to order again and they were closed, I had to order from another indian restaurant and that was such disappointment 😂 This place is the best!

Nice little cafe although said restaurant quite a good selection of food and reasonably priced. A little out the way had to use google maps lol.

It's really a side of the road kind of place! Very average but worth it!!

We never expect much of the local food options, but this place is a hidden gem. The food is consistently very good (and be aware - many dishes are quite spicy!). Nice people and fast service for takeaway or delivery - haven’t dined in yet.

I'm used to much better Indian food. Quality isn't great either.

The food tasted very authentic Indian. Very healthy and hygienic, no oil floating on top. Everything tasted fresh. We asked to make it Indian spicy and it was perfectly spiced for our family. Would highly recommend if you want to have good Indian food in Amsterdam/Zandam.

Ordered here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. Very good thing. Good portions, it arrived sizzling hot, everything very neatly packaged, salad and sauces with the menu. Chicken fillet was super tender, delicious curry sauce. Really great. Naan bread was also very tasty!

On a Monday in Zaandam there weren't many places open. Fortunately we booked a table here and enjoyed an excellent meal. Food really was delicious and plentiful. The butter chicken was excellent as were the okras. Would definitely recommend if staying in Zaandam.

Choosing from the menu was a challenge; everything sounded tempting. Eventually, we settled on the lamb and vegetable thali. The dishes were authentically flavorful and delicious. We'll definitely be returning for more!

Korma lamb was so good. Also the service was so nice.

Really sweet and helpful service. Authentic music and amazing taste food. On all sides would recommend! We had the chicken curry and chicken thali. Was like being back traveling India. Will definitely come here more often. 🙏🏻

This is our favorite little Indian restaurant. The food is clearly made with care and is full of flavor. It’s nothing fancy, but just really good.

It was my first day at Amsterdam and I wanted to try indian food at this place. Guess what.. I made a good choice. I order bhindi masala and it was simply amazing.. I felt like I am eating at home. Highly recommended if you are nearby

I dined last 9 Sept at 9,45pm with 5 pax. (2 families). Firstly, it is a place with great hospitality. They were smiling and courteous even at late hours. Food was impressive. Price was “value for money “. Location is great too

Als Amsterdammer ben ik verwend aan aanbod. Ik dacht dat Zaanstad alleen slechte restaurants had (Kebab, shoarma etc.) Zojuist Indian Kitchen bezocht en ik ben erg enthousiast. Het eten is heerlijk en super vers. Dit restaurant heeft een vaste klant erbij.

Favourite Indian take out place in Zaandam. The saag paneer is my firm favourite and the biryani is amazing too.

Looking for Indian authentic taste and this restaurant is there in Zaandam with nice staff member and fast service in reasonable prices. From Zaandam station is 10mins walk-in about 700-800 meters. Recommended dishes:- Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan

The food was good!! We went there without any expectations but we were surprised. Food was yummy 😋 ,tasty. The spice levels were perfect. We had ordered small sabjis. The quantity was Okish. Small size sabjis serves only one person. Everything was made to order. Prices are reasonable. It's run by a friendly couple. We paid around 47 euros. 2021 - Heerlijk eten, snel bezorgd en wat ik echt fijn vind is dat ze er rekening mee houden dat bezorgd eten onderweg nog doorgaard. Dus heerlijk mals en niet gortdroog als het aankomt. Top. Buiten dat zijn ze ook goedkoper dan andere restaurants in de buurt. 2023 - Helaas is het de laatste paar keer wat minder. De kip, grote stukken en erg droog. De Butterchicken was de beste in Zaandam. Hoop dat dat snel weer zo is.

Goede restaurant met Mooie schilderijen van indian cultuur mooi versiert. Heel aardig mensen zeker gastvrij.Ik heb samosa, parahta, dal makhani met rijst en baingan ka bharta bestelt Het eten is erg lekker

The delivery is on point, there's a 10% discount, and the food is sooooo good. It is as authentic as it can be, certainly a specialty if you are visiting Zaandam!

Al zeker 10 keer besteld hier. Niet normaal lekker. Normaal altijd tikka masala maar vandaag ook sagwal. Nieuwe favoriet! Snelle bezorging ook. Niks op aan te merken.

We ordered chicken mix starter, veg momo, dal makhani, alu matter paneer and mango lassi. The mix starter was good, the veg momo was ok. The dal makhani and alu matter paneer are way too watery, the dal makhani is not buttery and creamy as it should be unfortunately. Also they could have kept the mango lasso a bit thicker and a bit less sweet. Because of the watery texture of the 2 main dishes, they didn't have as much flavour as expected.

Ordered the butter chicken today and it tasted amazing and you get a real good portion. The delivery driver was very friendly and the food arrived still very warm. Highly recommend trying it out!

Lekker Indiaas eten, ruime porties en snelle bezorging!

Ik bestel hier regelmatig. Lekker eten, vaak snelle bezorging en voor een goede prijs (een gerecht is genoeg voor 2 personen of 2 dagen). Afhankelijk van het gerecht is het nog gezond ook. Ik raad de CHICKEN BIRYANI MUGLAI of CHICKEN CURRY aan met een roti en een indiaas biertje. Eet smakelijk!
