Very nice restaurant. Lots of space, good acoustics, kind of a fine dining feel to it. The food was really tasty, and not greasy like you get from some Indian restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Had a takeout- not a good experience compared to the price you have to pay. Had lemon coriander soup- basically they charge people 8€ for hot lemon water with a drizzle of coriander leaves🤣 momos? 6 out of 8 were undercooked and dough was raw. Lamb? dry.

The food is a perfect blend of flavors and spices. The atmosphere is calm and clean, and the staff are incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to many more dinings.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had samosas, garlic naan, dumplings, butter chicken and paneer. Everyone was very happy with the variety of flavours.

This is one of the tastiest Indian and Nepali food i have tried till now. The Jhol momo was great. We tried dum biryani (veg), and it was great as well. The Gulab jamuns were good, yet we did not like the combination with Curd. However, we enjoyed the food here. I would recommend this place if you ever visit Zandam.

You can order anything without thinking twice. All dishes are amezing.

Already eaten at Mr. MOMO twice this week. What delicious dishes! Nicely seasoned, nicely spiced and beautifully presented. They have a very extensive menu, so you can come back more often and choose something different every time. The dishes are served in bowls, so you can easily share them with your table partners and taste a bit of everything. The service is friendly. If you have leftover food, they offer to make a nice doggy bag of it. The restaurant is cozy and colorfully decorated.

The north Indian dishes with naan used to be amazing. But nowadays the gravy is too sweet(sweeter than it's supposed to be). Naan is still amazing. So are the Momos.

The waitresses are super nice and accommodating. The food is amazing, I'm thrilled. Definitely recommended! Price is reasonable for what you get.

We had a lovely time at Mr. Momo Service was kind and very helpful. We took a long time to order since we had to catch up on telling each other juicy news but the waitress was very patient with us. Food was delicious! The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. I think the outside (terrace) could be more inviting since the inside of the restaurant is very beautiful and the terrace doesn’t represent the restaurant at all. I place to visit again. (But keep in mind, I am rarely eating Indian food and have very little knowledge how it should taste; however, for someone like me it was delicious!)

Now, onto the food—absolutely phenomenal! The Momo's were some of the best we've ever had, bursting with flavor and perfectly steamed. The Jhol Momo's took it to another level, with a rich, aromatic broth that was simply addictive. The Chilli Paneer had the perfect balance of spice and texture, while the Sadeko was packed with bold, tangy flavors that kept us coming back for more. The Rotis were fresh and soft, pairing perfectly with every dish. Everything was fresh, authentic, and made with love. On top of that, the cleanliness of the restaurant, including spotless toilets, added to the overall excellent experience. A solid 10/10—highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Nepalese flavors! We'll definitely be back!

Overall, a great restaurant, very friendly, warm and good! The prices are very affordable considering the quality of the food!! I just want to point out to be careful with the dishes, it might not look like it but it’s quite spicy! After discussing with the waitresses we were told that we could have asked to change the plates for less spicy ones so again a good point!! Go for it!

We order from this place weekly and been now also the restaurant. The food is 10/10, super flavorful! We love the butter chicken, never watery but a decent sauce that you can dip you naan in. The dumplings are the best! Love that there are plenty on vegetarian options too.

Delicious food, in the restaurant but also via the delivery service. Well-filled spring rolls, curries, such as Butterchicken, but also dumplings and naan bread, all recommended. The atmosphere in the restaurant feels a bit hall-like, but the service and food make up for this. Have it delivered today.

Ate there yesterday. Service is friendly and it is nicely decorated. However, I had lamb chops and they were raw. I soon got new ones but they were cold. I didn't wait for another portion because I was done with it. Received 1 glass of wine as compensation. They'll never see me there again. It would have been nice if we had received an apology. The cook came to talk to another table....

I'm an Indian newly relocated to Zaandam from Amsterdam. We went to try the Nepali food here on a weekday... The Chhoila chicken was cooked perfectly, but too turmeric heavy for our taste. The filling in the momos were forgettable, unremarkable. I have had better tasting ones in Amsterdam and India. We finally tried one Indian dish - Chicken Vindaloo. That was good, really good! We would go back again to try more of the Indian food but def need to look for momos elsewhere.

Very nice place for some drinks and dumplings. Juicy chicken dumplings which have well balanced flavours.

I have eaten here for the 5th time now and the dishes are very good and tasty. At first I had my doubts because it looks modern and I like its authenticity. But the food is simply great and so is the service. The Salmon curd and the fried onions tasted very good.

We had booked a 4-course menu through Social Deal and received a very friendly welcome. Delicious food! There was so much that I unfortunately couldn't finish it, but that certainly wasn't due to the taste.

The jhol momo and Thakali khana set were exceptional and truly unforgettable, an absolute must-try. Additionally, the chicken chhoila, other momos and mango lassi are highly recommended. The food was outstanding, complemented by a wonderful ambiance.

I rarely leave reviews of the places I visit, but Mr. Momo was a great surprise on a day when I wanted something different. Tried out the himalayan mushrooms and a chicken grilled dish accompanied by rice, the quality of both preparations was awesome. A great surprise you'll surely enjoy.

Delicious food with great service!

Bad experience with food and service. We ordered mix veg curry. In This curry they had used a very old reused oil. Oil which has been used several times for frying. Felt nauseous after a while. Ordered tandoori momos. Found a long hair in it. There was only one waiter. Everything was taking so long to be served. Not going again ever to this place. Its not at all authentic.

Must try: chilly momo, jhol momo and mango lassi. Great service, great food. A must try restaurant in Zaandam.

What a nice tent and delicious food! Been here with a deal from Actievandedag and it was really great. Sweet, helpful woman who served us. Definitely come back again. Atmosphere 'only' 4 stars because I'm not a fan of the cold LED lighting. But that doesn't detract from the rest.

I love this place. Before they raised the prices I ordered here almost every week. Now it’s nice to dine in once in a while. Always good service and food.

I ordered out and was shocked at what i got. Watered-down yogurt sauce, mixed pickles from a jar, flavorless chicken with no vegetables and 3 day old rice. Maybe the food in the restaurant is better, wouldn't know and won't go find out.

We just arrived in Zaandam from England, we had arrived late and were hungry. We saw this restaurant on google and decided to give it a try. The restaurant closed at 9 and by this time it was 8. We rang up the restaurant and asked if we’d still be able to get served and they assured we would. We arrived at 20 past 8. Staff were very friendly and very attentive. Our food came quick and we ordered a lot of food, despite the kitchen closing they were still very happy to make it for us. Place is very clean and really beautiful interior. Great for pictures. Our food came leaving us 15 minutes before closure. The presentation of the food was amazing. We were really impressed. The lamb was amazing and tender. The prices were very reasonable. We just want to say thank you for having us. You made our first night the best.

Echt niet Nepalees. De inrichting is lelijk, er zit geen sfeer in en behalve 2 boeddha's waarvan één iig Thais is, en het heeft meer weg van een wegrestaurant met hotelmuziek. Paar jaar geleden was hier nog Nepalese bediening, maar ook die zijn verdwenen. Wat je van het huis krijgt, de knapperige papadums zijn veel te zout, waarschijnlijk kant en klaar uit een zak van de groothandel. Verder bestelde ik o.a. een champignonsoep, er was werkelijk niets Nepalees aan. Het smaakte als een blikje van Unox Jammer, het restautant had vroeger nog wel potentie, maar heeft nu misschien andere eigenaren?

Vijf kwartier gewacht op eten. Gasten die na ons binnenkwamen, hadden nog eerder hun eten. Zij kregen een excuus, maar wij kregen helemaal niks te horen. We waren maar met 2 man en hadden een simpele maal besteld. Na het aangekaart te hebben werd er verteld dat het nu gemaakt zou worden en we gratis naan krijgen. Deze naan was niet gratis, we moesten 1 betalen om een andere gratis te krijgen. Eten zelf was lekker, maar de service was helaas erg slecht.

Interieur ziet eruit als een nagelstudio, maar het eten is superieur!

We hadden als groep een heerlijke avond. Sfeervolle restaurant qua interieur. Vriendelijke personeel.Eten was goed echter vond ik kipfilet in butter chicken droog. Saus was heerlijk. Ze hadden beter kipdijfilet kunnen gebruiken . Mijn collegas die ook gerechten met kip hadden besteld hadden dezelfde opmerking.

Great Indian restaurant. Food was tasty (close to what I’ve eaten in India) and the atmosphere was nice (Indian music included). I do not give a 5-star rating because prices are too high for the amount of food they serve.

Wir haben hier zu Abend gegessen, da es sich direkt neben unserem Hotel befand. Die Momo waren wirklich sehr gut. Auch die indischen Hauptgerichte (Lamb Tikka Masala + Butter Chicken) haben uns gut geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr freundlich.
