Servizio e qualità delle preparazioni a livelli notevoli, specie se confrontati a quanto mediamente si trova ad Amsterdam e dintorni. Famiglia molto impegnata professionalmente che gestisce anche un omonimo ristorante in città. Bravi!

We had a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we were asked to leave a review at the end, and this was done under considerable pressure. "You forgot a star there." Very motivated to put the restaurant on the map, but I don't think this is the right way to go 😅

Fantastic dining experience! We enjoyed the aloo paratha, momos, and rice everything was delicious. A special shout-out to Ram, our server from Nepal, who went above and beyond with his friendly attitude and exceptional attention to detail. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place. A must visit!

Delicious food, but pushy staff. The waiter demanded I leave a review and give it full stars, which unfortunately isn't how it works in the Netherlands. They also made a fuss about too much rice we hadn't ordered, and the drinks took forever. So, the food was truly great, the service subpar.

During our visit to Zaanse Schans, we stumbled upon this wonderful spot for lunch, and it truly made our experience even better. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming us with warm smiles and attentive service. We were so impressed by the freshness and flavor of the Indian food—they really know how to bring authentic taste! Every dish was made with care, and you could tell they used only the best ingredients. It was the perfect meal to recharge during our sightseeing. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Garlic naan and rice was yummy but the butter chicken was very little for 22 euros. I would say the naan is worth the price but you can buy something else instead of the butter chicken. Nissan was a great server!

The food was good and fresh. However, the portions were a bit small, especially considering the price – especially compared to other Indian restaurants (even Amsterdam prices). The two- or three-course menu wasn't clearly described, with two nearly identical menu pages, which caused confusion. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak enough Dutch or English to explain this properly, so we ended up having to call the manager. We ended up having to order two separate main courses to have enough to eat. All in all, we spent much more than expected. What also disappointed us: at the end of the evening, two QR codes were shoved in front of us in a rather forceful manner, requesting us to leave a positive Google review immediately. The waiter stood there, explained his story, and then asked again if we had already filled it out. This felt forced and inappropriate – this isn't how you should collect honest "5-star" reviews. Namaste🙏🏽

We had a great meal. Close to home and surprisingly tasty. Some portions were a bit on the small side, you think there will be more and that is not the case. Everything was 100% halal, which was also important to us. Dishes are served simply but taste really delicious. It is an old building and smelled a bit musty, which was a bit less pleasant. In warm weather you can sit outside and you are not bothered by that. Would definitely recommend it. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very tasteful and refined cuisine. Very friendly and attentive service. Beautiful historic Zaan building. Definitely worth it. Don't forget the desserts ... more special choices. Not the standard ice cream but also beautiful traditional desserts.

As a Indian I would say that it would be not worth it go there. The paneer tikka curry color is artificial red, the price is high as compared with quantity. I also eat aloo paratha but there were not enough stuffing.

The food is delicious and mild in flavor. The meat and chicken are halal. You can choose the amount of pepper (hotness). The waiter, Ram, is very kind. The service is prompt. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived. 6:30 PM on weekdays. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Cons: The prices are high. The portions are very small. The stairs to the restrooms are scary and narrow. The food is tasty and fresh. Halal. Mr. Ram is kind and cooperative. The prices are expensive, and the portions are small. Better to book in advance (especially in the afternoons). The restroom is up stairs and accessible by sleepy and narrow steps.

The spicy level of medium can be quite spicy if you’re not used to spicy foods! The food takes 45 minutes to come out even when we were the only 2 tables there. The owner also comes to your table and request you to do a Google review with all five stars as he looks on.. a five star review with somebody forcing you to do that. It’s not much of a review..

By seeing the high rating review, we visited this Restraunt. 1. For atmosphere- I want to give rating 1 because we are forced to sit outside the restaurant at 31 degree centigrade temperature (so much hot outside with bright sun). Even though the inside sitting was open and free places. Still, they asked us to sit outside. 2. For service - I want to give rating 1 because while serving they have mistakenly dropped the cola zero drink but they didn’t offer for the new one. 3. Food - After seeing all this, we thought of ordering only one dish I.e. Chicken momos. Momos size is good but taste is something different ( stuffing felt like chicken masala) and they have served with a chicken curry. Nothing similar with Nepal/ Indian momos. I have an experience of having momos in India as well as in Nepal and the taste doesn’t match neither of them. Very very disappointed
