The nice owner talks better than the chef cooks. He tells his story with great fanfare, which can be fun and is when he does what he has to do, but it remains chatter. The dishes look great, the salmon tagliatelle and spaghetti shrimps are below average in terms of taste, bad. The pizza, stone oven (?), however, good. Wine choice: abominable, and you get a bend! Salt and pepper shakers: as if they come from a greasy snack bar, ditto the oil bottles. If it turns out that you do not order dessert, but have ordered a starter, the interest in customers quickly decreases. Been there once. The service: sloppy, uninterested, a lot of talking (to distract?).

A real Italian restaurant how few we find. Carbonara pasta so good that we decided to go back the next day. An excellent tomato and avocado salad. Neapolitan pizzas, or other thin crust pizzas, also of very good quality. Impeccable service without the need to ask for anything. Remember to make a reservation though as the room is a bit small.

Had dinner at this restaurant for the first time last month. Atmospheric, lovely owners, smooth and friendly service. Delicious food, everything was great!

We were supposed to have a reservation for tonight. A specific table was reserved, which wasn't guaranteed, but at least we had a reservation. Due to car trouble, we wouldn't be able to make it to the agreed-upon time. When we called, the owner said there were no reservations and that he didn't care about losing a regular customer. The owner already has an unpleasant attitude, but we never made a big deal about it. We will never recommend this restaurant again.

A very cozy and cozy traditional Italian Restaurant! The food was phenomenal, delicious pizza and pasta. And the dessert was excellent! Lovely people who offer you service in a very nice way, beyond expectations.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed and non-residents couldn't read it on the internet. Not very hospitable, we went there specifically because of the good reviews and found ourselves in front of a locked door. There wasn't even a note on it... and that in the middle of the high season for dinner!

We ate very well! Friendly service and cozy atmosphere! If we are in the area again we will come back!

We have enjoyed eating here with a good friend for years. In fact, it is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. The service and owners are incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful. In addition, they always recognize us immediately, even though we are not even from the area. I always find the atmosphere in this restaurant cozy and fun and it is nicely decorated. The food is really so delicious! I have eaten many different tiramisu in Amsterdam, but they cannot match this one at La Capannina!! How incredibly delicious!!! We'll be back on Thursday! Until then. 😄❤️🇮🇹🍝

Reserved a table for dinner on my birthday, June 21st. Together with my girlfriend and mother-in-law. When we entered, my girlfriend told the owner René's birthday today. After the main course I asked my table companions if they wanted something to eat or drink. They said that they were actually satisfied. Suddenly the owner came with a piece of tiramisu with a torch ;-) in it. The birthday hymn was widely sung by the other guests. The three of us ate the piece. Okay, I ask for the bill, pay and we go home satisfied. Quite coincidentally, 2 days later I look at the bill. I see correctly, the unsolicited tiramisu is on the bill!!!! I was extremely surprised. I found it difficult to discuss it. Called anyway. Long story short. Had a wide discussion. He thought it was very normal to put it on the bill. He said that it would otherwise cost him too much if he were to put this treat on the table every time for a birthday boy????? Very strange. Not like I'm used to. Especially because it is put down unsolicited. What a beautiful decoration for the other guests, but in the meantime just put the treat on the bill. After many 5's and 6's I was told that it would be settled on the next visit. Just a few critical comments. We always ask for Coca-Cola Zero. We have been doubting for some time whether we will receive what we ordered. Pepsi-max or perhaps another brand? The taste is also different. It is poured from a large bottle out of sight behind a high bar. During our visit we also received coke without a shot. Don't be surprised if it is poured from a large bottle that is constantly opening and closing. Was exchanged with a look of ..... What struck my mother-in-law was that everything was presented in a very disinterested manner. You don't feel hospitable. During a previous visit, four hockey men were having a great time after a match or training. They were treated with every respect. Right down to the slimy part. Well, there must be a difference..........? It's not big inside. It can be very noisy for someone who is sensitive to stimuli. Still a positive point. Yes, I'm into Lasagna. That's really delicious. Too bad about the above negative points. This has made us decide not to make use of the promised settlement. They don't see us there anymore.

Pizza tasted good and for a reasonable price. I think Coke came from a bottle that had been left uncapped in a remote corner for too long.... there was no spark to be found and then they charged 3 Euro per glass. The owner is absolutely not customer friendly, his colleague, on the other hand, makes up for a lot. I also got the feeling that if you are not a regular customer, the owner would rather not have you in his business.

Haven't been in a while. Nothing changed! Old-fashioned fun and great food! Top service and delicious wines!

One of the best, relaxed Italian restaurants in the Netherlands

Severe food poisoning from the carpaccio, which turned out to be spoiled. The ambulance came to my house, I let everything run from the front and back, I literally thought I was going to die. So I call them up and tell them the story and the response was terrible oh yes is that true? can happen.. so I say are you serious? Does he want to pretend that I'm lying? That really went too far for me, so I say, shouldn't you just apologize to me as quickly as possible? Offer he says yes, sorry about the toothache, which could be felt through the phone, it went from bad to worse on both sides because I I couldn't keep cool anymore after his statements with an IQ of a minor. Long story short, this place is highly recommended unless you want to run the risk of food poisoning once and never again, just disgusting.

Top quality food. We ordered grilled tenderloin and an Americana pizza. Both highly recommended. The space is attractive and the staff is very friendly. Reservations are wise because they are often full, even during the week. I like coming there.

Buiten gegeten (winkelstraatje). Binnen ook sfeervol. Mooi interieur. Het was gezellig druk. Veel vaste gasten, steeds persoonlijk ontvangen door ervaren bediening. Uitgebreide kaart. Eten snel op tafel. Normale prijzen. Hier gaan we terug.

Naar mijn mening is die de beste Italiaan in de buurt. De pizza is uitstekend en ook alle andere gerechten zijn heerlijk. De baas is de beste gastheer van omstreken en de sfeer in het restaurant is top. Kom hier al mijn hele leven en nog nooit teleurgesteld.

Pasta carbonara was te vet, frisdrank werd ingeschonken op tafel gezet (uit een grote fles, dus met weinig prik).

We hebben echt heerlijk gegeten. Het vlees was zo mals. Onze complimenten voor de kok!

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit recht altmodischer Atmosphäre (positiv gemeint). Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Ich habe lange nach einem Italiener gesucht, der Risotto anbietet und dieses hat mich dann auch echt überzeugen können!Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit, da die Servietten bereits kleine Flecken hatten und die Gläser schmutzig waren. Wen das nicht stört, erlebt hier einen schönen Abend in den Niederlande.

Heerlijk gegeten in een fijne ambiance. Goede Italiaanse bediening. Porties kunnen wat minder als je voor drie gangen kiest. De tiramisu is verrukkelijk.

Altijd gezellig en lekker! Vraag vooral om vooraf enkele anti pasti op te tafel te zetten en laat je verrassen door het lekkers van de chef. Al 30 jaar een restaurant waar wij met de familie graag komen.

Pasta was smakelijk maar de carpaccio was zeer matig. Weinig smaak en een minimale hoeveelheid. De prijs daarentegen was ruim.

Altijd stampvol, alles gaat snel (je eten is er al voor je er erg in hebt!), heerlijke maaltijden. Grote porties ook, ongebruikelijk voor een Italiaan. Ik gok: Piemonte/Parma keuken? En ondertussen komen allerlei mensen voorbij die pizza's afhalen - dat doen ze dus ook. Eigenlijk een plek die je niet in een review wilt zetten, en stiekem voor jezelf wilt houden. Trouwens, ze zijn zo druk dat een review helemaal niet nodig is.

Fijne ambiance....je wordt echt op z'n Italiaans bediend. Authentiek!

Heerlijke pizza's en sfeervolle entourage. Een aardige en een niet zo sympathieke ober ( de eigenaar?). Bij hem voelen we ons nooit zo welkom. Deze week werden de borden wel heel snel weggehaald. Een gratis kopje koffie ter compensatie werd toch in rekening gebracht.

Heerlijke pizza's, maar ook de andere gerechten (zoals de ossenhaas( zijn super lekker!! Zeer vriendelijk personeel met passie. Een echte aanrader!
