It's great: delicious food, drinks, cozy and nice seating. It was a treat to watch the barriers and the train from so close with our children (1 and 3). We said to each other: 'They get it here!'. We'll be back very soon because we want to try everything on the menu. And how sweet that we got strawberries from the owner Danielle and her husband. Gold.

We sat outside close to the railway, a special experience! Ordered minced meat ball (homemade) with bread, Croque Madame (nice French touch) and fries. Generous portions, very nice!

Never left a restaurant hungry before. Two soles for almost €30 and with two a very small bowl of fries. Bought a bag of real fries on the way back to Haarlem. At least there the service was with a smile.

Very bad food. Scanty plates (also reflected in the review below - my wife also had 1 piece of satay for 21 euros). Except that the spare ribs for 25 euros contained no meat and were heavily burnt instead of slowly cooked. My son and I immediately sat on the toilet when we got home. Carpaccio was ice cold from the refrigerator on two plates. A bowl of fries for 5 people with one small cup of mayo. There was a free plate of cake for grandma's birthday. Very nice and attentive, but out of proportion to the rest. No way. The price 230 euros. Never again, that plate with a piece of cheesecake did not outweigh how bad it was. And for my mother-in-law's birthday, let's say how delicious it was. Bah.. Furthermore, friendly help.

We went for my mom her birthday!! It was a great experience, great food and great service. The only con I have is that I ordered the spicy chicken salad, which was delicious, but not spicy at all haha.

Food okay, cafe level, service normal. If the owner would do something positive with the feedback instead of posting derogatory, customer-unfriendly responses to reviews, it would appear a lot more professional. What nasty reactions from that man, and have been for years.

It was a nice atmosphere, delicious food and even though there was no room, space was made so that we could have a delicious snack within a certain time.

It has been too long since we ate at "Klein Centraal". It's nice that you can park there easily and for free. A clear menu with something tasty for everyone. The two friendly owners are still together on the work floor and the enthusiasm and experience still shine through. Compliments to the kitchen staff who do a fantastic job in a not too large kitchen. The six of us had a nice evening and had a delicious meal. Thanks for this. See you soon. Greetings Ted. We regularly go for a walk with the family around Overveen station. A nice cup of coffee and a piece of cake before we leave should not be missed during this event. Always fast service and delicious coffee + cake.

Place at the most beautiful and best station in the Netherlands. The service is also the nicest and best.

Nice location right on the Overveen railway line. The menu is quite classic, but the salad with goat cheese for lunch was excellent. The prices are also really very acceptable.

We had dinner with 16 people for our mother's 90th birthday. Once again a top performance from the kitchen and service. All dishes served on time and the food was excellent. Meat was as ordered and the other dishes were excellent. Service was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely come back again.

Had a delicious lunch. Stumbled across this place unexpectedly and was recommended by a local shopkeeper. In my opinion, highly recommended. Also a nice special location in and near a station.

Years ago, I came here much more often. It came to a standstill due to the Corona. Had lunch here again today with 2 of my brothers. It's back to normal and the food was still very tasty! The service was still very friendly.

Top plek met vriendelijke bediening en lekker eten.

Tijdens een fietstocht hier gestopt om iets te drinken. Wat een leuke plek. Een restaurant in een oud station. Leuk ingericht en je komt ogen te kort om alles te bekijken. Zowel als achter een terras. Aan de ene kant stopt de trein. Grappig om te zien vanaf het terras. Aan de andere kant een weg naar de winkels van Overveen. Bediening was vriendelijk koffie lekker sterk en de jus vers geperst. Wij zijn voornemens om er 's Avonds eens te gaan dineren.

Handy place by Overveen train station. Food is average, service is not outstanding, atmosphere is OK. Ambience is of a former train station building, which, in fact, it is.

Wat een ongelooflijk leuk café! Direct tegen station Overveen aan. De sfeer is top - het is nog een "echt" ouderwets café. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam - i.t.t. de meeste restaurants tegenwoordig spreekt iedereen gewoon Nederlands en werken ze er langer dan een week. Het eten is simpelweg erg lekker. En de prijzen zijn tot slot ook nog eens vriendelijk. Zeker waard om eens een tussenstop te maken!

Wat een leuke plek! Prima gevarieerde menukaart en een goede bediening. Ook zeker niet te duur....

Ik heb hier heerlijk gelunched met een vriendin van mij. Het broodje zalm en het broodje pittige kip waren beide echt verrukkelijk! Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en we werden snel geholpen. Wij waren wel van mening dat de sfeer waar wij zaten niet heel gezellig was maar zagen ook wel dat het terras en de voorzijde van het restaurant beter plekken waren. Al in al, zeker een aanrader!

Gisteren gegeten bestel brood en sparibs kregen ons brood 4m erna ons sparibs niet van ons brood genoten bestellen wat drinken me zoon en ik allebij een flesje moet het in een vies glas gooien viel me deze keer heel erg tegen personeel was ook niet een van de vrolijkste en sparibs met 5m klaar heel knap we aten er normaal regelmatig maar ik kom er verlopig niet jammer

Heerlijk hertenstoofpotje. Beetje hoog op smaak, maar in het geheel viel het niet op. Supersnelle service en vriendelijke bediening. Lactose intollerantie goed mee omgegaan. We waren er voor de keuken open was, maar konden wel al een snack krijgen. Reserveren is handig.

Supergezellig en héérlijk eten in het station Overveen. Fijne service en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Top!😊👌
