Very tasty, good service and not expensive

Delicious food for a great price

We had a delicious combo meal. Fast service and a pleasant atmosphere. One criticism... if you sit on the long bench, your feet rest on a steel beam. Six meters away, someone kept tapping their feet, and everyone felt it along the entire length of the table. I mentioned it, and the irritation was over.😁 Maybe shield that beam from each table?!

Great. Restaurant in the city center. Fast service, food was good. For an Italian restaurant, they should have caprese on the menu.

The food is delicious. The soup, pasta, and pizzas were nice and hot. You should open a window, though...it was so hot in there.

I ordered a delicious Pizza Roma. Highly recommended!!! I don't think the atmosphere downstairs is particularly great, but it's nice and clean. It looked better upstairs.

Service unfortunately left a lot to be desired, you regularly go without a drink...😥😥 They keep walking past your table but don't ask if everything is to your liking, does anyone want another drink...🤨🤨

We ordered fruitti de mare, bread plank and lasagna. Overcooked pasta and missing salmon. Lasgana sauce is like soup. They complimented with drinks. Latte machitto vanilla is diabetic, too sweet i just sipped one time. Friendly staffs and respectful. They accepted our feedback about the food.

Our review is a bit negative. We were there on a Saturday when there was a lot of activity in the city. We waited an hour for the food and the drinks were drunk before the food was served. If we had been told in advance that there would be more than half an hour of waiting for the food, we would have chosen another place. Otherwise a very cozy and well-visited place, which is good for adults. The noise level is high, the first floor is very hot in the middle of summer, so probably not a place for the smallest children.

The restaurant is located directly in the pedestrian zone and has a quiet atmosphere. The interior is modern and cozy, there is also an outdoor area that is covered. The staff is friendly, the drinks were brought quickly, the pizza is well topped, but the pizza dough is a bit too soft. All in all, it is a recommendable restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere and food, server was very nice and quick with serving to let us enjoy our evening. Had the goat cheese pizza without the figs, they were able to accommodate not wanting figs very easily though I don't know how well they can handle severe allergies. Only the time for the pizzas to arrive was fairly slow despite there not being too many clients at the restaurant. I also noticed the handle of the toilet door was broken and I was almost stuck in the toilet. Overall a nice place for a relaxing dinner.

Had a lovely meal on the cosy terrace. Tasty fresh tuna salad and a pizza. Friendly staff and friendly prices.

Always a nice place to come back to, the pasta is really good, better than the pizza. Especially the carbonara, I always order it. So creamy.

Lasagna without minced meat how ????? Ordered lasagna, got a container with lasagna leaves, sauce and cheese and didn't see any minced meat crumbs 😩

The waitresses were friendly. The drinks came quickly, but after that we were not asked for our food. We had to wait a long time before being asked what we wanted to eat. Then the food came fairly quickly. My pasta was delicious!

Om het jaar goed af te sluiten hebben wij met een aantal collega's bij Markanti gegeten. We hadden een mooie tafel en werden uitstekend geholpen door de medewerkers. De door de bediening aanbevolen pizza smaakte heerlijk! Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug.

There was a very good atmosphere in the shop, and the employees were super nice! All in all it was a very nice experience. Definitely worth repeating.

Good price-quality ratio, friendly staff

5:45 PM in the restaurant, 6:10 PM for dishes and at 8:16 PM no main course and no start yet. Then just leave the restaurant. very bad tent.

I've been to Markanti before and had a pretty good experience. Only this time I was there with a friend and we were placed next to the toilet while all the tables around it were empty in the two hours we were there. Away from the people and commotion. Not only did the same waitress walk by every twenty minutes to pick up other people's glasses and plates, we also had to wait more than 90 minutes for our pizzas that never arrived. We used the same waitress where they stayed and she told us twice that they were in the oven but not even 20-25 minutes later they came. So we waited almost two hours for our main course and in the meantime we enjoyed a bread platter with wine and soft drinks.

Highly recommended! Chic atmosphere, very cozy. The food was great! The pizzas and pasta are really great. Service absolutely top! Friendly and considerate. The restaurant is run by a family where everyone pitches in with a smile and it shows. We will come back on our next visit to Holland.

Were here with a large group (14). Service took a long time. I was able to order 2 drinks in 2 hours (and had to ask for them myself) while it was very quiet otherwise. Empty glasses are not noticed. Serving food also took a long time and came in parts, so part of the group just had a solid meal. Food otherwise okay but not special. The restaurant is very beautiful and atmospheric.

As always, a warm welcome, good food and wide choice.

Disappointing. We had dinner with 9 people on a Tuesday evening, we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. The food was fine, but we thought it was absurd that (since there was hardly anyone else there) we had to wait 50 minutes for 2 bread plates and 1:40 hours for our main courses. There was not a single smile from the service either.

Normally satisfied with the food but the seafood pizza... consists of a lot of tuna and a few shrimps. That's not the way it should be.

Great restaurant with mainly pizza and pasta with some other Italian dishes. I get the feeling that the staff is not very experienced and not very confident in their shoes. The food tastes good, but is not very special. The beer tasted very good. You can also enter with a wheelchair and there are options on the menu for children. There is also a play corner if the children want to do something. There are two floors and therefore a lot of space. I would describe the restaurant as one step above happy Italy

Ze hadden geen tafel voor rolstoelers later opgelost. Na een half uur het voor gerecht na 1,5 uur het hoofdgerecht. Al de zoveelste keer. Voorlopig geen Markanti

Pizza was ok but not very special, good crispy base, only the tomato sauce was a bit tasteless. (soil has sometimes been worse, I thought the overall quality in the old building was more consistent and better). Furthermore, the service was very friendly and they often came to check whether everything was still to our liking and whether we wanted another beer. It took a very long time before we got the food.

Geweldige ervaring gehad bij markanti. Ze schenken fatsoenlijke hoeveelheid wijn, borden goed gevuld met heerlijk eten, personeel ietwat jong maar ze doen hun uiterste best. En dat in een prachtige zaak. Wij komen gauw weer

Op een zaterdagavond bij markanti geweest en echt wat een geweldige tent!! Uitstekend personeel, hele vriendelijke dames. Hadden een vleesgerecht besteld en een pizza, na 20/30 min hadden we ons eten en het was heerlijk. Lekker mals vlees en pizza goed gevuld, al met al een top avond gehad bij het sfeervolle markanti

Eten op zich prima, bodem pizza houd niet over en dun! Stoelen zijn waardeloos en niet bedoeld om lekker te tafelen, maar eerder om plaats te maken voor de volgende gasten.

2023: Dit jaar twee keer bij Markanti gegeten. De eerste keer omdat we positieve geluiden hoorden, de tweede keer omdat die klopten. Bediening en gerechten waren beide keren ruim beter 👍🏻 2022: Jammer, na de verhuizing naar de begane grond toch minder geworden. De entourage is wel mooier dan eerder, dat is het positieve punt, jammer genoeg het enige (nou ja, je hoeft geen trap meer op). Duidelijk minder is de benadering van het personeel en de hoeveelheid personeel. De gerechten zijn ook niet meer wat het eerder was. Het feestje wat Markanti eerder was is een beetje verdwenen, jammer!

Het is hier heel gezellig en de lasagne is absoluut een aanrader

Na redelijk wat moeite een andere tafel aangewezen gekregen, na aangegeven te hebben niet bij de voordeur naar buiten te willen zitten vanwege de kou. (Het vroor die nacht) En dan een antwoord krijgen als: "Maar die deur gaat niet open", terwijl iedereen in het restaurant daardoor binnenkomt en vertrekt. Verder was de dame die ons bediende niet erg beleefd met haar: "Weten jullie het al?" En er werdt tussentijds ook niet gekeken naar lege glazen. Ook vind ik het niet prettig dat er dieren toegestaan zijn in restaurants. Er zat aan de tafel naast ons een stel met een hond, die overigens ook de hele avond heeft lopen blaffen naar o.a. kleine kinderen. We schrokken er allemaal steeds van en zelfs aan de tafel naast ons werd geroepen: "Het wordt tijd om die hond naar huis te brengen." Je neem toch ook geen kat of hamster mee een restaurant in? De grens zal naar mijn idee gewoon getrokken moeten worden bij; Binnen geen dieren toegestaan. Het eten was overigens erg lekker.

Ik had spaghetti carbonara, het is zeker een aanrader. Het was heel vullend en de saus was heel lekker (heel goed). Ik werd door de bediening heel aardig behandeld. Het restaurant is heel modern en heeft een goeie sfeer (gezellig). Het eten was er snel geserveerd. Voor de kids was er een speelhoek en je kon kleuren dus ik kon veel praten met mensen zonder dat ik werd gestoord.

Super leuke bediening gehad van Sarah! Ze heeft de verjaardag van mijn zoon helemaal goed gemaakt!

Heel vriendelijk personeel uitstekend werk en lekker gegeten

Helaas was de bestelde gegrilde kip ( polo ) erg zout. Wil je bv frites er bij, dan moet je daar extra voor betalen. Klein bakje frites €4,50. Doorsnee eten had iets meer verwacht.

Super gezellig, heerlijk eten en lieve bediening.

Gezellige sfeer m.n. ook door de aankleding. De bediening is goed. Altijd heerlijk gegeten daar.

We hadden een tafel besproken om 16.30 ivm kleine kinderen. We kregen ons eten pas om 17.45 dat duurde echt te lang. Terwijl wij de eerste gasten waren die binnenkwamen. Het eten was echt super lekker!

De pomodorisoep was lekker! De pizza bodem was iets te dun het deeg Mag wel iets knapperig en luchtiger de smaak opzich is wel goed. De tiramisu was echt lekker!

Goede fitella tonato en een belachelijk lekkere pizza Paesane. Leuke bediening. Jammer dat er een tafel met gasten zoveel lawaai maakte. Maar daar kan de uitbater alleen maar bij vragen het iets rustiger te doen.

Ontzettend lekker eten en een aangenaam sfeertje. Ook erg vriendelijk personeel :)

Heerlijk verse pizza gegeten op het terras, met een gezellige groepje mensen van popkoor Xing uit Assen. De bediening was persoonlijk en vriendelijk.

Service was vriendelijk maar over het algemeen duurde het erg lang voordat we konden bestellen en voordat we vervolgens het eten geserveerd kregen. Het eten zelf was ok maar wel erg aan de flauwe kant.

Eten was prima voor de prijs. Het personeel was ook wel oke, maar wel af en toe een beetje slordig. Al en al, prima restaurant voor de prijs van het eten

Wij hadden gereserveerd maar daar aangekomen was de reservering bij hun niet binnen gekomen ondanks de bevestiging mail, waarna we wel mochten gaan zitten , echter 20 minuten wachten totdat de bediening bij je komt om het eten en drinken op te nemen is te lang, nadat het eten was opgenomen nog 45 minuten moeten wachten tot dat het voorgerecht kwam omdat de bestelling niet gemaakt was. alles bij elkaar is de service zwaar ondermaats maar het eten smaakte wel goed.

Heerlijk gegeten in een goede sfeer. Bediening ook prima. En alles voor een goede prijs

Goed eten, service redelijk vlot. Wel her en der foutjes in het opnemen van bestellingen (en daarmee uitserveren) die goed werden opgelost. Wel erg warm binnen, letterlijk, en bij vlagen rumoerig.

Heerlijk gegeten met ruim 20 personen. Vlotte, plezierige bediening en iedereen kreeg gelijktijdig het eten. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Restaurant ziet er erg gezellig uit.

Sehr schöne und angenehme Lokalität mit einem sehr wohnlichen Ambiente. Das Essen war gut, sämtliche Bedienungen sehr aufmerksam.
