Truly incredible pizza, a place with great attention to detail.

Cozy restaurant with classic Italian bestsellers in pasta and pizza. It is a very large restaurant with two separate rooms connected at the back of the establishment. The antipasto platter was beautifully presented and tasty. I found the other dishes quite ordinary. We were served quite quickly, though.

Good food and cozy atmosphere, not extremely busy on Thursday evening.

Easily the best Italian restaurant in Twente. It's great fun to try something new every time – the pizza and the surprise menu are highly recommended. Also a big plus for the interior!

We went for dinner and had a genuinely excellent meal. The pasta Amatriciana by chef Lorenzo was perfectly al dente and well salted, while the fresh tiramisu, cannoli and real limoncello finished things off beautifully. Food and atmosphere were outstanding, and the €30-40 price range felt justified by the quality.

Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The atmosphere and interior were pleasant, but the service and food left much to be desired. We reserved in advance for 6 people, but ultimately left feeling disappointed. It is unbelievable that the waiter had the nerve to ask for a tip.

The starters/appetizers were very tasty and the pizzas very good. The pastas were a bit disappointing in comparison and didn't have a particularly special flavor. Still, a fine experience and a cozy place to eat!

Problems were resolved adequately, very service-oriented, but the staff are inattentive and don't look around. You wave like crazy before you get noticed. The food was decent, the wines, on the other hand, not so much.

Lab26 is an exceptionally high-quality restaurant where the definition of hospitality is fully grasped! Exceptional flavor combinations, both in the meals and the fine selection of Italian wines. Like the best things in life, a visit is best enjoyed in company. This allows you to share the large portions and sample more. Although I was here alone, because my gluttony knows (virtually) no bounds, I still went home completely satisfied. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My 'pasta Labonara' and 'saltimboca alla Lab26' arrived quickly and steaming at my table. As a result, I barely had time to enjoy the warm, trendy interior, which would not be out of place in a sandstone establishment in Maan. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to order a bread roll por scarpetta beforehand; something that should actually be mandatory here; until I was confronted with two plates full of delicious sauce, which I would have loved to inject into my bloodstream immediately. To finish, I savored the Il baba. My advice in short: Run, don't walk to Lab26 in good company, share at least 3 starters, a sandwich, a few glasses of homemade limoncello, one main course each, and preferably more than 1 dessert per person, don't be afraid to mismatch your meal with your wine, and order a pizza to take away. Finally, don't forget to tip generously, and when you get home in the evening and see that you really went overboard, don't blame me! It is more than worth it.

We had a delicious meal. It is a real shame that we had requested an ‘intimate, cozy spot’ for our anniversary, only to be seated on wooden chairs by the window. We found it an even bigger downside that we were told we were welcome from 7:15 PM, only to be asked to order dessert just before 8:30 PM during our main course due to the kitchen closing!!

This is my second time here, and the pizza is consistently exceptional. In my opinion, it's the best pizza I've had in the Netherlands. Light dough, quality ingredients, and a truly authentic flavor. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Tonight, for my birthday, I enjoyed a delicious 4-course surprise menu. A culinary feast for the taste buds. Delicious, original Italian dishes. Beautiful location. And very friendly service, who were able to clearly explain what dishes we were being served. Fantastic evening; I took home a lovely bottle of homemade limoncello to savor a little longer.

We didn't hold back and went for the full package. But 7.00 for a bottle of water? What?? And a bottle of wine costing 35 euros on the bill instead of 25 as stated on the menu... hmmm, perhaps something to watch out for! Quality of the food? Sublime. 😉

Really delicious food, and fast service

Not satisfied. Pizzas with crusts that are too tough. Little flavor. Too many ingredients. Delivery not as agreed. The ordering process was quick; you spend your money fast. Furthermore, we ordered online and indicated the timeframe for when we wanted it delivered. That half hour wasn't enough, so it had to be 10 minutes later, after I had to call first. Poor communication. It's fine that you can't deliver between 19:00 and 19:30, but then call! Keep guests informed. Give them a premium feeling because they are paying a premium price (and then the food is disappointing too). When the pizzas were delivered (within a radius of 1km!), they had already cooled down considerably. I understand why the tip is to put them in the oven for an extra 2 minutes; they are simply cold. It can't be called artisanal either; the dough is dry and tough. Not airy and not tasty. Just a waste. The ingredients mainly consist of using a lot of -cheap- cooking cream to give it a greasy taste; the ingredients are swimming in it. In short, not tasty and tasteless. Additionally, the price for a pizza is over €15. It is certainly not worth it. We won't be coming back here. This is not the ‘Italy’ we are used to when real pizza is supposed to be. I advise against going here. Addition to the comment below: if you had wanted to contact me personally, those details are in the order that was checked, as is evident from the comment. There is no accounting for taste, but there is for what I found and what I paid for it. The price of 4 pizzas for €62.80 is, in my opinion, still €15.70 on average per pizza (!).

Always a great place to eat! The restaurant is almost always busy, but despite the crowds, the service remains fast and very friendly. The dishes are traditional Italian, and you can taste that everything is freshly prepared. The tasting menu with pizzas from the wood-fired oven is especially recommended. Absolutely recommended for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine.

The menu is only available via QR code; a restaurant should be phone-free. Expensive wine and beer. The pizza was disappointing, and the pasta portions were small, with no real options for younger children. The service was good. Unfortunately, this was our last visit to Lab26.

We have eaten here a couple of times. Will keep going back because of the food and the pleasant staff. I’d like to see improvements to the space though. For me the place is just too loud with too much echo. Takes away from an otherwise excellent experience.

We were very curious about this relatively new restaurant and heard mixed reviews. So, we made a reservation. I'm not in the habit of giving bad reviews to restaurants that don't score well. But we were so disappointed that I hope they do something about it. We waited for a while upon arrival without being approached by anyone. We finally walked all the way to the back where we saw someone sitting. We were assigned a seat at the back of the restaurant. That was clearly the least pleasant place to sit: several noisy children from various tables were running around playing. Of course, the parents should have reprimanded their children, but since they didn't, I had hoped the staff would intervene and reprimand the parents. It went on for over half an hour! Moreover, the sliding door to the brightly lit kitchen was constantly open, which didn't enhance the atmosphere in the restaurant. We sat at our table for about ten minutes without being approached by any of the staff. We figured out ourselves that we had to scan the QR code to see the menu. That wasn't convenient: I was the only one with a phone, so the four of us had to bend over a single small screen. None of the staff felt the need to help or provide a printed version of the menu. We were addressed in English. Not a big deal for me, but it wasn't so great for my table companions, who don't speak a word of English. The food itself was fine with beautiful ingredients, but we felt the price-quality ratio was particularly unbalanced. The portions for sharing were on the small side. All in all, this didn't contribute to a positive experience. Perhaps we'll give this restaurant another chance. I hope to be able to change this review to a positive one then.

The three-course menu was delicious with fresh ingredients, but the starter was still refrigerator cold and therefore not yet fully flavored. The pizzas were tasty but rather limp and had a lot of dough, and the pasta was rather bland. A bottle (?) of brand beer was €5, the wines were good but expensive. Not exactly the experience we'd hoped for for this price.
