We had a delicious meal here. A very tasty stone oven pizza and delicious wine. Service was a bit messy, probably not enough staff this evening, so we sometimes had to wait a little longer. Fortunately, we were able to order drinks during dinner via a QR code, which made it a bit faster.

Such good pizza, great crust and fresh ingredients. Extremely reasonable prices for Utrecht. I had great server named Jackie who provided diligent and attentive service and really made our day! Seemed like something was going on in the kitchen though. I understand it can be stressful in the kitchen but guests could hear one of the chefs yelling and arguing. Highly recommend this place!

I went here for dinner with a group of friends. We had made a reservation and when we asked where we could sit, the response was curt and rude. The waiters were very rude and never once asked how our food tasted, not even during checkout. Once the food arrived we also had to ask for cutlery ourselves and while asking we were cut off with a snarled "Ye, sure". Then the cutlery was placed in the middle of the table with a number of napkins and we were allowed to choose it ourselves. The food itself was also extremely disappointing. We all had pizza and although each pizza was delivered quickly, they were barely warm and not really tasty. That was mainly due to the pizza dough. The pizza was very similar to a cookie with some pizza toppings on it. The vegan pizza, on the other hand, was less hard, because it was almost rubber. In short, the service hardly does anything and when they do they are rude and the food is terrible. Strongly not recommended.

We ate some very good pizzas while having a beer in the sun. Very good site.

We had a delicious meal here during the wine and food walk! Very surprising. Also nice wine served. After this we ordered cocktails that were also tasty, but I didn't skimp on the liqueur. I didn't find the outside of the terrace very inviting, but they really surprised us here with food and drinks that tasted very good. Service also very friendly.

A great place for Italian food in Utrecht! It is located just outside the city center, but in a very lively area! The weather was nice so we decided to stay outside. We made a reservation and we recommend you to do that as it was quite packed! We had the ragu pasta and the pizza burrata and we loved them! They have also some nice cocktails to choose from and we had a negroni and an aperol, both very nice. The food is quite pricey but I think the portions are quite big.

Pizza was flavorless, they were very stingy with the toppings. I didn’t taste any Parmesan. The dough was a bit soggy. Wine was good.

Went for dinner yesterday, beet salad, pasta of the day (shrimp), vitello and goose ragout. The latter was very popular, they can cook really well here. There are few non-alcoholic alternatives yet, but they will certainly become available

Excellent pizza, thin base. Staff was not very sharp; not attentive, did not come to inquire much, and had forgotten a drink. Price/quality ratio: ok.

Very nice restaurant. Quite slow and not very enthusiastic service. My truffle pasta was quite okay, but according to my partner the pizza was very tasty!

I went here with my girlfriend last Saturday around 6 o'clock. The restaurant is nicely decorated and is already in the Christmas mood. After some confusion about whether we should order via a QR or not, the evening attendant arrived. The food started very well. The salmon bruschettas were tasty. The bun was nice and crispy and the avocado tufts were a nice addition. Then we started on the main courses. Unfortunately the truffle pasta was a bit disappointing. The pasta itself was cooked well, but it lacked some flavor and was almost a bit bland. The goose ragu pasta was a success, as it had a very rich taste and the pasta shape really helped to enjoy this sauce. Finally, we both had the tiramisu, which had a very nice taste but could have been a little better in terms of consistency. Overall it was an okay meal, in a nice restaurant with good service.

Leg of lamb with polenta did not taste special; little taste. Wasn't warm through and through and seemed to have been microwaved.

We had dinner here last night. The starter was on the table quite quickly, but I think we had to wait an hour for the main course. It was very busy so we could understand it taking a little longer. We had a very nice meal.

On the advice of a good acquaintance, we went to Piëro's for dinner yesterday, luckily we made a reservation because as far as we could see all the tables were occupied. We had a super tasty meal as a starter, a plate with all different Italian dishes, as a main course pizzas and 1 x diamond tenderloin and ice cream with dessert for dessert. chocolate whipped cream and the tiramisu, not to mention the service was great and it was a super fun evening All in all a big 9, keep it up 👍🏻

Service super friendly and the restaurant is beautiful and atmospheric! I didn't think the food (including pizza) was particularly good/tasty. For a tasty pizza I would go somewhere else next time.

Great food but poor service (probably understaffed...) and a drunken staff member hanging around after hours that felt a bit uncomfortable.

I had eaten at Piero's several times and it had been a while now. Piero's was known for its delicious pizza and other dishes, but I think a lot has changed in two years. The pizza was really not tasty (while this really was the best pizza in Utrecht!), but now the bottom was made of cardboard. It's a real shame, this doesn't invite you to eat at Piero's again.

Super nice authentic Italian restaurant with a beautiful interior! The nice menu with tasty food and the nice service definitely make this place one to come back to! 💗The cocktails were also very tasty!!! recommended!

I would not recommend this restaurant. The staff was really not friendly at all and seemed very grumpy, the service didn't really seem to have any "tactics" so no one really kept an eye on our table. They kept coming with too few glasses and too little cutlery, and then we had to go in and ask for it at the bar. The pizzas were okay, but not very richly topped (pizza burrata was just a pizza with just tomato sauce, a ball of burrata and some pesto) for pizzas of 15 euros. There really are better places to eat pizza.

This is our favorite spot for family gatherings in Utrecht. Like being home. Very welcoming and the food is delicious

The pasta was delicious and clearly freshly prepared. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and authentically Italian. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Italian cuisine!

Simple Italian menu, well prepared, informal atmosphere and good value for money. Something went wrong with tagliatelle instead of tagliata, quickly resolved. The wines are above average, with a good choice by the glass. I drank an excellent Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, highly recommended.

Controls refer directly to QR code without listening, just find out there. It is not possible to order via that code and service was no longer available. We wanted to order two drinks, how difficult can you make it.... That's why we left for the terrace next door. When we walked past here again later, the few tables that were occupied (how could that be?) ALL had pizzas that were burned quite black. All in all, this location is definitely not recommended......

Fantastic restaurant, truly Italian, with good service!

Nice place and with a young atmosphere but the pizza was average and the service was bad. We waited for 10 minutes but no waitress came to pick the order. I had to get up and told them what I wanted to order. We ordered pizza vegetariana and it arrived very quickly but wasn't the best. In the end, they gave us an incorrect check with drinks we didn't order and didn't get.

The food is very mediocre but the service is fast. We sat outside but it was not very pleasant.

You wouldn't know it if you walk past it, but this is a nice restaurant with a mezzanine inside and a large terrace outside. Service is, as is often the case at the moment, sometimes in English, but excellent anyway. The pizzas taste good. The atmosphere is okay and the tables have some space. It was a great experience for us and we will definitely come here again.

A nice Italian restaurant with a good atmosphere and experience! An open kitchen where the pizza is made 'live'. We had to wait a very long time and we found the differences in pizza flavors a bit disappointing. The dessert was very tasty and so were the Virgin cocktails. We had to wait a very long time and it was so terribly stuffy and hot. Perhaps that is part of the Italian experience, but it was a bit too much for us.

Very good food, really quality and nice decoration, fantastic location. Because of the open kitchen and real pizza oven it is very warm inside, so choose your place wisely depending on the season ;)

The poor waiter couldn’t service all the tables at once, we waited for more than 10 minutes to get his attention and another 15 for the drink, other than that, the food is amazing and the show was beautiful.

A real smooth Italian. Delicious pizzas. Delicious base and crust. Max 5 toppings have been combined for great flavor combinations. MMMM! Rest of the menu is also fine. Surprising recommendation.

Food was OK. We were here with a large group so had a predefined menu. The starters were charcuterie (good!), bruchettas (same ingredients as the pizzas, not very inspiring) and dry focaccia. For the main course we had a selection of pizzas and they were very pale and not all cheese was melted so it seemed like they could have been in the oven for a longer time. Deserts seemed pre-made, which is understandable for large groups and were OK tasting. Service was good. There was one vegan in our group and the vegan cheese (feta replacement) from the starters was re-used for the pizza. Vegan dessert was lemon sorbet. Wine was tasty and service had good recommendations.

We ordered pizza and lasagna. The pizza was nice, but the lasagna was not too good unfortunately.

Been here many times. Pastas are at times a hit or miss, but the saving grace is the pizza, one of the best in the Netherlands in my experience. Recommended for a glamour night in a maximalist place.

What a fantastic tent this is! Yesterday we ate such a delicious meal again, not normal! And the host was also very nice as always! So it doesn't get any better.

Delicious food, tasty real Italian pizza. Appetizer of calamari and bruschetta with tomato/basil. The only downside was that it all took quite a long time.

Wat een fijne plek! We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Zijn voor een pizza en een pasta gegaan. Ze waren alleen met wat weinig personeel waardoor je wel om alles moest vragen. Ze kwamen niet uit zichzelf bij je tafel langs.(bestelling eten opnemen of voor nieuwe drankjes)

Fabulous pizza, best I’ve eaten in a long time, nice staff

Mooie zaak hoor. Prima ingericht. Veel hoge tafels en dat vinden wij prima. De kaart is "modern Italiaans" en we hebben beslist niet onsmakelijk gegeten. Maar misschien is dit toch de reden dat het restaurant ons niet zo is bevallen. Modern Italiaans is namelijk - in dit geval en naar onze mening - nauwelijks Italiaans. Wel heel trendy, maar zorg er in ieder geval voor dat je meer Italiaanse klassiekers op de kaart hebt staan. Voor de referentie, voor de smaak, voor het authentieke gevoel. En o ja, misschien wel handig als er wat meer personeel is dat Nederlands spreekt ... (niet dat we geen Engels spreken, maar daar hebben we op 10 minuten lopen van ons huis niet zo'n zin in).

I visited the restaurant with a large group as a starting point for a boat ride through the canals. The cake that we had with the tea was very good. For dinner after the event we had a starter (mediocre) and pizza (good). The chairs inside are not very relaxing and since the restaurant has an oven near some of the tables, it can get unpleasantly warm.

Een echte authentieke Italiaan! Eten was erg goed en wat ik verwacht. Geen pizza’s die je overal en nergens via thuisbezorgd kan krijgen maar bijv pizza Bianca mortadella zoals je hem in Italië besteld. Luchtige pizza met liefde bereid. We waren met een grote groep (25 man) en het ging dan ook op z’n Italiaans. De gangen werden in grote schalen uitgedeeld en iedereen kon zelf pakken naar behoefte. Eigenaar had oog voor z’n gasten en ging ervoor om het ons naar de zin te maken. Ga zo door! Een echte aanrader.

De pizza was nog niet gaar en bediening was matig.

Eten was mweh pizza bodem was heel dun en zompig. Verder kreeg ik geen glas bij mijn frisdrank en moesten we steeds zelf vragen of we wat drinken mochten.

Heerlijke pizza, calamari, salade en Tiramisu gehad. Top.

Wir haben vorne im Eingang gewartet da es hieß man würde platziert werden. Das geschah dann auch nach 5 Minuten. Dann saßen wir erstmal 10 Minuten ohne Karte am Tisch bis dann jemand kam und uns diese in die Hand drückte ohne zu fragen ob wir vielleicht schonmal etwas trinken möchten. Nach 15 Minuten hatte der Kellner dann wieder zeit für uns und wir konnten bestellen.Fairer weise muss man sagen, dass das Restaurant halb voll war und die Jungs nur zu zweit waren. Die Pizza war der Hammer und im Restaurant an sich haben wir uns auch wohl gefühlt.

Best Italiaans restaurant in Nederland dat ik ken. Voedsel en ingrediënten zijn fantastisch, de service is top en de sfeer en locatie leuk. Goede wijn, en gevarieerde Italiaanse gerechten. Een dikke aanrader.

Porto's restaurant is decent for a quick lunch. The pizza was enjoyable, but overall, it didn’t offer anything remarkable. If you’re looking for a no-frills option and don’t have high expectations, it could be worth a visit.

As an Italian I can guarantee you this is the best place to eat an original Italian pizza, the inside of the restaurant is incredible and sets a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Het eten was heerlijk. De bediening daarentegen was niet goed. Ze spraken gebrekkig Engels en luisterden blijkbaar ook niet goed naar wat er besteld werd; zo hebben we een keer te weinig ontvangen (3 ipv 4 gerechten bijv.) of moesten we tot driemaal toe vragen waar het blijft. Zonde van de ervaring, ook al was het eten goed en de locatie top!

Je kunt hier heerlijk op het zonnige terras zitten, maar ook binnen is de sfeer en het interieur super! Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening. Eten smaakte voortreffelijk, de kok kwam persoonlijk vragen of alles naar wens was. We hebben genoten van de heerlijke wijnen, zeker een aanrader!

Prima pizzaria wat betreft het eten. De bediening is echter vreselijk. Je moet er zelf achteraan ook iemand aan je tafel te krijgen. Ze spreken alleen Engels (zelfs iets als 'mag ik cola', 'cola graag' krijgt de reactie dat ze alleen Engels spreken), terwijl je toch binnen een dag wel zou moeten kunnen leren hoe je een paar dingen in het Nederlands zegt (zoals 'eet smakelijk', 'tot ziens'. Dingen die overigens ook in het Engels niet gezegd werden). Bediening komt totaal niet betrokken of welkom over. Jammer!

The pizza’s were of high quality except for the fact the bottom of the pizza would stick to the cardboard box because of how thin it got in the middle, nothing too major though… I did have trouble finding something that I could broaden my pallet with that didn’t have pork… if you like chicken on your pizza or if you’re overall a picky eater it’s hard to choose what you want as there was no way to modify any of the pizzas as far as I’m aware… another part that everyone at the dinner table agreed on was that the pizzas were VERY salty, if you’re into that then these pizzas are great but if you’re trying to have less salt in your diet maybe consider not getting one of their pizzas… The pizzas were finished on time and I’ve had a good experience in general other than the things I mentioned

Best place for dinner in Utrecht. Authentic wood burning oven, Italian beer, excellent service and most importantly, delicious pizza till late!
