Jammo Já in Beesd

We had a nice meal, but we had to wait a very long time for the food (over an hour). We had the vegetarian antipasti (6 dishes) to share. Very tasty. Then both have a pasta. Due to the long wait we skipped dessert.

We opted for the 4-course surprise menu. 6 delicious dishes to start with. Surprisingly tasty. Then a delicious Neapolitan pasta. Main course steak strips also very tasty. Desert three tasty dishes. All in all a great taste experience in a cozy atmosphere. Lovely chairs and enough space. We will definitely come back again!

Very tasty food. Been to Jammo Ja for the first time and certainly not the last time. Very cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious Italian dishes. This is really highly recommended!

We wisten niet of het vandaag een late lunch of vroeg diner zou worden en hier is de keuken doorlopend geopend voor ons ideaal dus. Het drie-gangen menu was ruim voldoende en heerlijk. Weer eens wat anders dan een 'pizza/pasta' Italiaan. Vriendelijke bediening en voor herhaling vatbaar. Meteen aanbevolen aan een vriendin die daar vaak in de buurt is maar er nog nooit is geweest.

What a hidden gem this restaurant in Beesd! We chose the chef's 3 course menu and it was really delicious! 6 different snacks as a starter and our main courses of fish and meat were fantastic! The lemon dessert completed the evening! Too bad the business had hired a large group of people. These were extremely noisy and personally I think you should avoid groups in restaurants of this level.

I think this was honestly one of the best dinner nights ever. There were two of us and we took the 5-course surprise menu. The dishes are very diverse, so you can taste everything from Italian cuisine! The price/quality ratio is certainly right, and you certainly don't get too little. We decided to leave the (really delicious) risotto for course 2 because otherwise we would be too full. We had this packed and were allowed to take it home. This was certainly beneficial and that is why we really enjoyed the other 3 courses. Finally, the service was very good and everything on time. The only point could be the language barrier. That's because there are real Italians in the kitchen and service! But that also has something. Thank you very much for this experience Jammo já.

Samen met een goede vriend op de bonnefooi naar Jammo Ja gereden na een tourtocht. Hij had er ooit goed gegeten, het was vroeg en nog leeg om 17 uur maar we konden meteen een tafeltje krijgen. De bediening was allervriendelijkst, de inrichting vrij strak, maar dat vind ik juist bij Italiaans eten passen. Wij kozen voor het 3 gangen verrassingsmenu en dat was heerlijk. We kregen een verzameling aan warme en koude voorgerechtjes, allemaal even smakelijk en speciaal. Hoofdgerecht rundvlees, wat aan tafel nog wat extra gegaard kon worden en prachtig opgemaakt was. Lekker. Desserts idem dito. Prosecco vooraf en een Ripasso bij het hoofdgerecht, een van ons moest nog rijden. De prijs was heel schappelijk en wij gingen voldaan rond 19.00 uur weer weg. Het restaurant begon toen al redelijk bevolkt te raken. Aanrader!

Was een tip van B&B Os en het Paard uit Deil waar we logeerde. Wat een leuk restaurant met heel lieve Italiaanse bediening. Wij namen het 3 gangen diner. Na het nuttigen van het aperitief kregen we als eerste ons voorgerecht een antipasta maar wat voor een er kwam geen eind aan op enig moment stond onze tafel vol en zette ze er een apart tafeltje langs. Het ene was nog smaakvoller dan het andere. Daarna kwam ons hoofdgerecht wat aan tafel werd afgemaakt door het vlees op een verwarmd blaadje na te garen naar onze wens. Dessert was weer een lekker chocolade gebeuren twee glaasjes met eerlijke gerechten erin. Kortom een perfect diner tegen zeer schappelijke prijzen in een leuke omgeving met vriendelijk personeel je voelt je daar echt gast.

We had a delicious meal at this authentic Italian restaurant. It was a lot of fun. From the delicious aperitif with limoncello, to the variety of antipasti with many surprising dishes, the perfect beef tenderloin with pistachio and parmesan cheese to the really good coffee. Everything was delicious. You see, smell and taste everything, the attention and love for food in this kitchen. All this, combined with the very good and attentive service, which mainly speaks Italian but is easy to understand, makes our evening at Jammo Já really feel like we have been on holiday in Italy.

Authentic food, of good quality and good taste. Lunch is great here, but you can also enjoy dinner here. Just like you can in good restaurants in Italy 🇮🇹. A chef's menu with several courses is highly recommended. Dogs 🐕 allowed!

Last Saturday the evening was all about dinner at Jammo Já. We opted for the 4-course chef's dinner. It started with the antipasti, 5 (always changing) dishes. Each delicious, we concluded that due to the palette of flavors, a certain order of eating is recommended. This allows the flavors to gradually transfer. Pasta for the second course, which was also excellent. Then the main course, next to our table the final steps of preparation before it was served. Regarding We have a tip for that main course. On top of the meat was Parmesan cheese, among other things. We chose medium, so the Parmesan cheese remained on the stone and did not end up on the plate. Perhaps it would be an idea to add this separately? Or be careful that it is not left behind. A missed opportunity. Furthermore, we didn't think the beetroot really enriched the taste of the main course. Then came dessert, pineapple carpaccio, a chocolate puff that was clearly freshly made and an almond, gin drink. The latter in liquid form and blue in color was not our favorite. Perhaps because of the association with something else blue that it really tasted like. Overall we enjoyed it immensely. As a small eater and due to the time between starter and dessert, there was nothing more I could add, which is a plus. To be repeated.

After a day of kayaking on the Linge, we went to Jammo Já on a Saturday evening, without reservation, in our (slightly too) sporty outfits. Fortunately, there was still a spot for us on the terrace. We ordered the surprise menu and enjoyed everything. The caramelized onion in particular was fantastic! The dishes arrived on the table quickly. Allergies and dietary requirements were taken into account. The hostesses were friendly and served us well. The atmosphere was homely. Recommended! We would love to come back here!

Wij hadden op 14 mei 2024 telefonisch gereserveerd voor 24 mei ivm een speciale gebeurtenis. Bij aankomst stonden we niet geboekt, terwijl we konden aantonen dat we op die dag hadden gebeld. Er werd gesuggereerd dat het aan ons lag dat er geen reservering in hun boek stond. We konden niet bij dit restaurant eten. Er werd geen excuses aangeboden noch een of andere compensatie. Er werd niets gezegd B.V. wat vervelend of zo. Zeer klantonvriendelijk. We moesten ons heil ergens anders zoeken.

Reservations on Sunday 6:30 PM. One of the last arriving guests. The place was full. Ordered a 4 course surprise menu. We waited about 1 hour with only our glass of Antipasti in front of us. Was a bit long without eating anything! The overwhelming number (18!) of dishes made up for something. The 2nd course tenderloin was not worth it. (Small and chewy). Dessert a prosecco glass with coffee, mocha, ice cream, liqueur. Tasted great. And the 4th course? Never seen. From the bill it was clear that we never had that either. (Language problem?) Still reasonably rated with the * . Yes, partly because we had eaten better here earlier on a very busy Christmas day.

We came with a group of 8 people, including 2 children. We went for the 4 course menu. There is no separate menu for children. It is possible to make smaller portions, but in principle they just eat along. The antipasti came in several small dishes: a poached egg in beurre blanc sauce, a crispy onion, a meatball in tomato sauce, a filled roll, and a melanzane alla parmigana. It all tasted great, the crispy onion was the biggest surprise. Then came the primi. A penne with Italian sausage and red sauce with bechamel. The pasta was al dente, the sauce creamy, but lacked a bit of spice. An excellent dish, but also a bit boring. Something went wrong with the head. We had placed our order twice, but the waiter appeared to have placed it the other way around. As a result, it took at least an hour for the main course to be served and there was no word from the kitchen or service about why it took so long. Something can always go wrong. But it would have been nice if this had been told to us. And it would have been even nicer if they had prepared our table urgently in the kitchen. Because of the children we were at the restaurant at 5:45 pm. We got the main course just after 8pm. The steak tasted fine, by the way. This was well cooked and tasted good. The potato slices that came with it were fine, but a little on the salty side. Dessert was a creme caramel-like something and a profiterole in chocolate sauce. This was fine and not too much. We had a great meal. It was a lot too, it was really full when we left. The matching wines were fine. Not very exciting, but went well with the dishes. Service is friendly. Service could only be a little better.

A cozy restaurant with a nice concept. If you want fish, meat or vegetarian, dishes will be available. And there are a lot of them and very tasty. Basically it looks cozy and neat. However, the setup for a group of 11 people was a bit cramped. In addition, boxes were stacked everywhere on the counter, on lamps and cabinets. Nothing wrong with that, but that's why it gets a 4 for atmosphere.

Modern Italian restaurant with “real” Italians at the helm who speak only a few words of Dutch. The antipasti from the surprise menu provided a party in the mouth, with the caramelized onion as a highlight. The rest of the menu was absolutely delicious, although the antipasti took the cake.

Went to Jammo Já for the 2nd time. When you come in, you'll immediately see a wine list and menu in front of you. Quickly with 'what do you want to drink'. Indicated that it could be quieter. They responded well to that. Starters (6 p.p.) were put on the table in one go, half of them lukewarm to cold. The table was completely full. 1 person then had an intermediate course, a pasta that was placed on the table like a stone and... 'and on' with the cart. Main course was good, only when preparing the meat on a cart, the prepared fish remained waiting at the bottom of the cart, causing it to cool down. Dishes were sometimes brought with a cart, while used service was at the bottom of the cart…. During dessert, I hadn't finished eating yet, they were already clearing away what my friends had already eaten. Yes, we could have stated all this immediately, but sometimes it surprises you. No more 3rd time for us.

Once but never again. All 4 starters were placed on the table, so most of them became cold. One of the starters was far too greasy, as 3 of the 4 people had half-filled plates that went back to the kitchen. This appetizer bothered me all night long. Tasteless snacks. Main course cold. Price disproportionately high.

Gekozen voor het verrassingsmenu. Het voorgerecht was wel erg veel moet ik zeggen; 7stuks.Wat we misten was de samenhang tussen de gerechten. En eerlijk gezegd mag het, voor ons, wel wat kleiner zijn. Hoofdgerecht was ossenhaas zoals we die in het verleden wel eerder gegeten hebben, prima. Dessert was ook goed. Volgende keer weer een menu van de kaart.

Weer verrassend lekker gegeten en heerlijke passende wijnen! Proeverij vooraf, pasta met zwarte knoflook en manzo erbij met bietencarpaccio. Echt voortreffelijk! Koffie (ook die is echt lekker) na met verschillende zoetigheden. Open haardje aan....wat wil je nog meer. Ze doen er alles aan om het jou naar wens te maken. Service staat voorop. Echt een aanrader voor een ieder die eens wat anders zoekt dan een standaard italiaans restaurant👌😋.

Delicious food... Napolitan cuisine with a twist

Veel gehoord over Jammo Ja en het eten was inderdaad heerlijk, wel erg duur t.o.v. andere restaurants in de regio, die dezelfde kwaliteit leveren. Bediening is heel vriendelijk, maar soms een beetje teveel Italiaans. Wat ons heel erg tegenviel, was de afwerking van de ruimte, slecht geverfde muren en plafonds een gat in de muur, waar een antennesplitter uithangt, een oude cv radiator die niet even netjes is weggewerkt, geen sfeer verhogende gordijnen en nog meer van deze simpele afwerkingen.

Absolutely outstanding! We were staying in the next village and our AirBnB hostess recommended Jammo Já. We are so glad we took her advice! The JJ team provide a warm Italian welcome. The food is stunning. We would highly recommend the menu degustazione - testing menu - as both delicious and great value. We just had the 3 course version and were completely stuffed. A surprising and delightful selection of antipasti. The tagliata di manzo is not to be missed. Delicious puddings too... Iced coffee, pistachio/crème/amarena, chocolate mousse... So good. Do not miss the chance to experience the hospitality at Jammo Já!

Het eten was verrassend en smaakvol, het enige wat heel jammer is dat eten op koude borden wordt geserveerd. Service was goed en attent. Sfeer is goed, helaas wel erg luidruchtig vanuit de keuken.

Op 8 december hier gegeten om afscheid te nemen van onze directeur met 7 personen. Warme welkomst door Italiaans sprekende dames. Goede stoelen, lekker warm en mooie tafel. Echt Italiaans, beetje wit en zakelijk interieur, maar daar kom je ook niet voor. Kozen 4 gangen verrassings menu, 7x vlees en 1 vis. Ongekend wat er voorbij kwam.Van Sicilië, naar een broodje uit Napels en een pasta uit een andere provincie. Mooie gerechten stuk voor stuk, alles vers en met zorg en liefde bereid. Ging even mis met de geen vlees voor mij, maar werd direct gecorrigeerd met een paar minuten. Goed aangeven van te voren dat je enkel vis wilt eten of vegetarisch, want de voorkeur is vlees. Was voor nu verder prima, maar kan beter. De voorgerechtjes zijn al meer dan voldoende. Fijn dat er tijd werd genomen voor de pasta en vervolgens het hoofdgerecht. Alles verloopt soepel en zorgvuldig. Het vlees hoofdgerecht wordt geserveerd met aan tafel prachtig gebakken buffalo di manza, erg gezellig om te zien en werd meer dan van gesmuld. Dessert is ook geweldig veelzijdig, van panna cotta met kers, naar een Italiaanse creme brûlée met beetje balsamico azijn en aardbei en nog meer. Op andere tafel nog vers gebakken soezen. We hebben mooie wijn gedronken, 3 glazen pp en wat bier. Koffie na, met 7 personen inc fooi voor 600 euro gegeten en een geweldige en heerlijke avond gehad. Kom zeker nog eens terug door de lunch. Na aanrader van mijn Italiaanse lerares, om echt Italiaans eten te gaan proeven, hebben we hier gegeten. Wat een ervaring was dat, heerlijke gerechten en smaken. Het personeel maakt, na de koks, de avond perfect. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Na vele italiaanse restaurants te hebben bezocht steekt Jammo Ja boven alles uit. Wil je de echte gerechten proeven uit Italië bezoekt dan dit restaurant, deze Italiaanse koks weten wat koken is. Vooraf antipasti genomen, 6 ( kleine) gerechten. Om je vingers bij af te likken. Hoofdgerecht, doradefilet. Toetje bestaande uit 3 gerechten. Het was fantastisch. Fantastico e perfetto
