Ordered coffee with apple pie. Never again. First of all, no card with prices. Stupid of me, but I've learned never to order anything again before I know the prices. Apple pie was a soggy sheet cake with a lot of dough and little apple. Coffee wasn't hot either. Employee friendly but unfortunately for her no tip with these ridiculous prices. Still a bad taste in my mouth from this experience. Paid €17.80 for 2 cappuccinos and 2 pieces of apple pie (without whipped cream)!

What an amazing find this was, tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful place, we didn’t have a reservation but luckily they had one table left. They looked after us English tourists like we were there own. We tried to book a table a couple of days later but it was full the whole family gutted. We have eaten in some very high end places in our time and this place is easily in those realms but without the extortionate prices. The atmosphere was friendly, comfortable and relaxed. The food was just outstanding. Our little 8 year old fussy eater suddenly become a delight and gave us the most energetic thumbs up we have ever seen, our 16 year old fully satisfied his gastronomical wants, Steak Tartare and a succulent and moist piece of Salmon. We left very full and very satisfied. If you don’t go here you will have missed one of the best meals you will ever have.

Got a cone with 2 lekkah flavored scoops of ice cream. Tasted great. I was helped very well.

Meat the Butcher in Beesd is absoluut een aanrader! De service was top; het personeel was vriendelijk, attent en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen welkom voelden. Het eten was fantastisch – de gerechten waren perfect bereid en vol van smaak. De kwaliteit van het vlees was duidelijk top, en de presentatie was zeer verzorgd. Al met al een heerlijke ervaring die ik zeker zal herhalen!

Heerlijke spare ribs gegeten met een prima bediening. Enkel was het storend dat er om 19.00 eigenlijk liever geen koffie meer geserveerd werd aan ons. We hadden namelijk een tijdslot tot 19.30. dit werd ons ook 'EXTRA' duidelijk gemaakt na onze vraag om een kop koffie.

Heel erg lekker gegeten in een mooi restaurant en met vriendelijke bediening. De tournedos en flat iron waren heel erg mals en bereiding (medium-rare) was precies goed. Enige verbeterpunt onze sausjes waren verwisseld en dat hadden wij pas door nadat we het over ons vlees hadden gegoten... Al met al was het een goede ervaring en we komen zeker een keer terug.

Heel erg gezellig restaurant, we hebben allemaal super lekker gegeten en gedronken. De bediening is vriendelijk en zeer attent. De ronde tafel is fantastisch, we zijn fan en komen zeker vaker.

We were here for lunch. The pork belly sandwich was nothing. Too much sauce, which made the sandwich soggy and everything actually tasted like sauce. The bacon was tough. Very unfortunate, I expected more. The other dishes were a lot better.

Mooie plek in een rustige omgeving. Goed bereikbaar en voldoende parkeerplaatsen. Mogelijkheid tot binnen en buiten eten. Buiten op groot overdekt terras met heaters. Het eten is er echt voortreffelijk. Het bedienend personeel is echt fantastisch. Deskundig, attent zonder opdringerig te zijn en heel erg gemeend vriendelijk.

We hebben een echte avond uit gehad bij meat the butcher. Het begint al met een geweldige entree en voldoende parkeergelegenheid rondom het restaurant. Daarbij een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, een zeer ruime kaart voor de vleesliefhebber, maar ook vegetarisch! Een plankje vooraf, een geweldig hoofdgerecht en een dessert met ijs uit de fantastische salon ernaast. De staff is mega vriendelijk en zien het direct als je glas leeg is, echt waar mijn complimenten voor jullie geweldige service en gastvrijheid. Jullie zien ons snel terug!

Zeer goede en vriendelijke bediening.Vooraf wat brood met wat heerlijke smeersels. Beiden hadden we spareribs en die waren erg lekker.Frietjes erbij en beter hoefde niet. Koffie na.

Service very uninviting. If you have reserved via the internet, you apparently also have to call. We didn't feel welcome. While the entire restaurant and terrace were empty / had room. It also took quite a while before they came by for drinks and cards. Food was otherwise ok. Dry aged well. Chicken thigh satay is very salty. Fries not included with main course.

Meat the Butcher(July 14, 2024) Recommended for lovers of a nice piece of meat We had dinner here with 5 people and were kindly received by the ladies and given a nice table near the bar. We were well advised when making a choice about which piece of meat we would take. People know what they are talking about and what kind of meat is on the menu. Is it tender, or a bit firm? In advance we opted for a “Butcher Board” for 2 people. A selection of their specialties. Just to get a taste. As head, everyone made their own choice. I was particularly curious about the “dry aged” piece of meat. That turned out to be a very good choice. The other dishes were also beautifully presented and tasted great by everyone. The kitchen and service were excellent. You could tell that attention is paid to the preparation and presentation of the dishes. The one downside we experienced was the acoustics. It can be a bit difficult to hear each other well, especially for people who have poor hearing, but that is really a personal experience and may also have been due to the location of our table. It also detracted slightly from the quality of the service and the food. All in all worth repeating. We would love to come back again!

Meat the Butcher(14 juli 2024) We zijn hier met 5 personen gaan eten en werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de dames en kregen een mooie tafel vlak bij de bar. Bij het maken van een keuze over welk stukje vlees we zouden nemen werden we goed geadviseerd. Men weet waar men over praat en wat voor stukje vlees er op de kaart staat. Is het mals, of juist wat stevig. Vooraf kozen we voor een “Butcher Board” voor 2 personen. Een selectie van hun specialiteiten. Gewoon om alvast wat te proeven. Als hoofd maakte iedereen zijn eigen keuze. Ik was met name benieuwd naar het “dry aged” stukje vlees. Dat bleek een erg goede keuze. Ook de andere gerechten werden mooi opgediend en smaakten prima bij iedereen. De keuken en bediening was prima voor elkaar. Je kon merken dat er aandacht wordt besteed aan het bereiden en de presentatie van de gerechten. 1 minpuntje wat wij ervaarden was toch wel de akoestiek. Zeker voor mensen die een minder goed gehoor hebben kan het wat lastig zijn om elkaar goed te verstaan, maar dat is echt een persoonlijke ervaring en kan ook hebben gelegen aan de plek waar onze tafel staat. Het deed verder nets af aan de kwaliteit van de bediening en het eten. Al met al voor herhaling vatbaar. We komen graag nog een keer terug!

Had lunch here. Food looked tasty. Thought it was pricey. I had the beef sandwich, meat was limited, there was more green on it than meat. I'm also really a meat eater, but if the name and image of your restaurant is MEAT, I also want to taste meat. Furthermore, it looked good, nice atmosphere, ice cream bar, kids could get their own ice cream at the bar.

Really enjoyed our meal at Meet the Butcher. Fantastic service and delicious food. Ordered the pulled pork burger and the chicken satay - both excellent. Lovely surroundings and buzzing on a Sunday evening. Highly recommend this restaurant which is on a beautiful street in Beesd with a convenient carpark.

**Review Edit:** Unfortunately the meal did not meet expectations. Although the portions were on the small side and the fries ordered were missing, the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and cozy. This provided a redeeming factor in an otherwise disappointing experience.

Had a delicious meal with my girlfriend on Saturday April 6. One of the best steaks ever. Very friendly service and the Irish coffee and delicious ice cream really completed the evening. Honest advice, “take 1 portion of fries, that's really enough” we thought was very polite from the service. To be repeated.

Super tasty food, great service. However, it is far too cold, something needs to be done about this. We were really not comfortable, in terms of climate temperature.

Nice thing. Located in a nice street that is super fun to drive or cycle through. There is also an ice cream parlor at the front, so everything is provided. The wine selection is something for everyone and also tasty wines. Lunch was definitely recommended, there were too many goodies on the menu to make a choice. We will definitely come back again. You can easily park in front of the door and in the summer they also have a terrace with a view of a tower. The prices are fair for sure for what you get.

Auch wenn man es von außen schwer einordnen kann, fand ich die Atmosphäre drinnen stimmig. Der Black Truffels Burger ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Das Fleisch hatte einen wirklich guten Geschmack! Die Bedienung war in Ordnung. Einziger Kritikpunkt war, dass nur es nur jeweils eine Toilette gibt und bei den Herren kein Stehbecken, was bei so einem Lokal unpraktisch und auch etwas knapp erscheint. Insgesamt kann man hier aber gut speisen, wenn man Fleisch mag. Es wird auch Eiscreme angeboten - geschmacklich sehr gut!

Mooie brasserie met leuk terras. Het is wel dat we op reviews en foto's af kwamen hier naar toe, want vanaf de straatkant vind ik het er niet heel aantrekkelijk uit zien. Heerlijk geluncht en ook echt een verrassende kaart. Wat andere dingen dan de standaard dingen die je overal op de kaart ziet. Enig puntje van kritiek wat ik kan bedenken is dat er bij de vislunch een tom kha kai (kip) soepje geserveerd wordt, ipv iets met vis. Vriendelijke bediening. Er is geen verschoonplaats aanwezig maar bij navraag doen werd ons een verschoonkussen en apart plekje aangeboden hiervoor.

ijs echt aan rader maar jonge man achter de ijsbar drama

Zelf gekozen voor dry aged rib-eye, deze was prima van smaak maar niet uitzonderlijk. Verder was het eten allemaal prima maar er waren een paar duidelijke minpunten. Er werd gevraagd of we alvast wat brood wilden en (naïef) dachten wij dat dit van het huis was. Heel uitgekookt krijg je de menukaart pas NA je het brood op tafel hebt staan en dan zie je dat tussen de 8 en 10 euro kost. Verder leek de "verse friet" akelig veel op diepvriesfriet. Ijs ook geprobeerd. Te duur voor wat het is, met deze prijzen verwacht ik meer dan standaard ijs gemaakt met poeders en kunstmatige smaakstoffen.

Onverwacht gevonden. Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijk personeel.

Het eten, service en de sfeer is volledig top! Probeer de Dry-Age specials, ze zijn zeker de moeite waard! En vergeet vooral niet de creatieve Desserts, er is niet voor niets een ijsbar in de naam. Service is top, makkelijke menu en er is precies het juiste hoeveelheid aandacht voor elke tafel, perfectie. Parkeren voor de deur, gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving en goed bereikbaar.

We komen hier vaker voor een ijsje. Er is veel keuze heerlijk schepijs. Een softijsje zou ik ook wel willen. Misschien komt dat ooit.

Leuke aanwinst voor Beesd! Het blaast je niet omver, maar goed en lekker eten! De sfeer is ongedwongen en relaxt, goede plek om even bij te kletsen.

Gezellig een hapje gegeten, we hebben de butcherplank gedeeld wat veel lekkere gerechten had, een echte aanrader als je van shared-dining houdt. Het vlees was lekker op smaak door het sausje die je erbij koos. En de ijs-coup was best veel maar wel lekker! We zaten buiten omdat het heerlijk weer was, de bediening was erg vriendelijk en kwam regelmatig vragen of ze nog iets voor ons konden betekenen. Fijn restaurant om een hapje te eten.

Wij bezochten deze brasserie omdat ik dat specifieke vlees wat 21 dagen heeft gerijpt wilde proberen. Ik nam de whisky entrecote van 300gr. Mijn mede tafelgenoten namen de zalm en ribs. Vooraf de Gamba's, drie stuks in knoflooksaus. De entrecote was goed, niet echt bijzonder. De whisky smaak, in de speciale oven verdampt waarschijnlijk want die miste compleet. Zalm ook goed en gaar. De smaak van de ribs was zeer goed en goed van structuur. Dessert de overheerlijke cheesecake en ijscoupe de butcher. Al met al lekker gegeten. Prijs kwaliteit vind ik een lastige.

Perfecte koffie, vriendelijke bediening. Gebak (lemon merengue) viel tegen. Was interessant anders maar helaas dag oud.

Op de a2 aan het rijden, trek in wat lekkers hier beland ze doen erg hun best, en het eten is er heerlijk!

Na wat negatieve ervaringen in de ijssalon ( kleine bolletjes voor een veel te hoge prijs) Gisteren op aanraden na positieve recentie toch maar eens uit eten in eigen dorp. Ik moet zeggen we hebben heerlijk gegeten. Het vriendelijke personeel en de sfeer zijn top.

Bij de ijsbar een ijsje gegeten. Niet in de Brasserie gegeten. Goed ijs hebben ze en een leuke traktatie voor de hondjes. ( bakje slagroom 🤭 )

Heerlijk geluncht,prijs-kwaliteit dik in orde. Leuke plek met ruime keuze op de kaart. Vriendelijke bediening en zowel binnen als buiten ziet het er gezellig en verzorgd uit.

Lekker ijs en mooie plek om te zitten met lekker weer

Location is a bit strange on a street next to residents. Parking was available and free but we were there in a quiet day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good, not great. Desert was very good. Must be because of the ice salon that also in the same business during the day. Atmosphere was nice but a bit crowded, seating is close together so privacy is not really a thing.
