I ordered Drenthe bulbs, but upon getting home, I realized they were only good for one day. I received regular old Drenthe bulbs, but paid full price. Not right.

Old woman behind the counter has to retire, gossiping a bit about her younger colleagues. Doesn't want to sell a healthy sandwich, doesn't give a clear answer, doesn't ask if I want anything else. The other employee helped me with the healthy sandwich and was friendly.

Too bad, also in this branch unfriendly staff, some breads already gone before 11 o'clock, very expensive products. It seems that they exploit their position because they have almost no competition from other bakers in Assen. Only in Vredeveld there is one (which also has offers on Saturday) and there is another baker in Rolde. So are they really going crazy with the prices and customer friendliness? Oh.... Seems rather arrogant! I had placed a review at the branch in Zeijen, this has been removed? In fact: all reviews have disappeared???

I was looking for a bakery open at 7 a.m., which took me 21 minutes by car. It's a spacious, bright bakery with a good selection of bread and pastries. Helpful staff. It's located in the shopping center.

Excellent bakery. Delicious rye rolls, pastries, and baguettes. Their more common whole wheat bread is also good quality and delicious. So if you're looking for good bread in Assen, this is a great place. They have many locations throughout the city, so there's always one nearby.

The bread is great! But… Somehow, they can't manage to avoid selling out of some popular breads like whole wheat and such before noon. Same old story over and over again. It doesn't seem that hard to solve when there's so much demand. And then there's the staff. It's not exactly pleasant to be around when you express your surprise. I'd suggest taking a course in customer service and inventory management.

We come here every week. Delicious bread and great that they have a great system so that you sometimes get something extra. We are satisfied

Friendly staff, fine whole wheat with sesame seeds is highly recommended! Make sure you reserve in advance! The half white bun for my granddaughter is also always a success when picked up!

We wanted to have a cup of coffee on Saturday at 2 p.m. This was not possible. Very unfriendly help!

It was 4:30 Wednesday March 6, 2019 the store wouldn't close until 6:00 PM Upon entering, we were almost pushed out of the branch by 2 extremely grilled eyes. We didn't wear any of this because we were very hungry. I asked if the cold sandwiches (frikadel, croquette and pizza) that had been on the racks all day could be put in the oven to be warmed up. They said in a very annoying way that the oven was already turned off and that they could no longer warm rolls today. I found this myself. Quite surprising since the branch would be open for another hour and a half and I thought it was strange that the oven had already been turned off by then. I had resigned myself to the fact that I would not be able to get hotcakes. I went to the other rack where, among other things, the ham cheese croissants were located. These racks were positioned with the open side facing the customer and it was obvious to me that they were intended for self-packing. When I asked for a bag and grabbed pliers. They said in a fairly aggressive manner that it was not self-service and were asked "what do you want?" I am very disappointed in the customer service In short, this employee is ruining the entire store Edit: of course we didn't buy anything here either

Very unfriendly and unhygienic people. Often hair on and in products and dirty long nails. Staff is very unkempt and unfriendly. If you want to take sick leave for a week, I recommend you have a sandwich here.
