I regularly buy pastries here, such as apple girls and pelicans. I often ask if these pastries are from today, and the answer is always yes, but not always truthfully. Sometimes the apple girls are too soft, or the pelicans are too moist. I don't get an honest answer to my complaint, but one saleswoman honestly said these were from yesterday, and then it's up to me whether I buy them or not. My stance is: "Be honest, for the sake of your customers."

I ordered Drenthe bulbs, but upon getting home, I realized they were only good for one day. I received regular old Drenthe bulbs, but paid full price. Not right.

On the hottest day of the year, walking in at 16:15 for 3 ice creams. With a closing time of 17:00 the ladies have already started to clear away the ice cream. The trolley with the ice cream containers is still in front of the display case and six containers are even still in the display case. When I ask if I can get 3 more ice creams I get 'No, we have already cleaned everything'. Somewhat bewildered I suggest that it is a matter of taking the lid off and washing the ice cream spoon again later. There are 2 ladies and the rest of the place is completely empty. I am referred to the nearest cafeteria to get some ice cream there... End score 2 disappointed children and a very bewildered (until recently) regular customer...

Yesterday I got brown and white rolls, and I'm just going to eat them now. The rolls are very dry, not edible. Yesterday when I bought them, the rolls already felt a bit harder. This bakery in Peelo is going downhill. The breads in Zeyen and Marsdijk are fresh, how is it possible that they are from the same bakery, or are they selling rolls from the day before for the same price?

Incredibly friendly staff; we get our bread here every Thursday (special offer). Nothing is too much trouble; the kids always get a sandwich. We love coming here.
