I love coming here; the food and drinks are top-notch every time. The service is great; you feel right at home and forget the time. Last time, they even made fried banana; Chantal arranged this for us, it was delicious. Pssss isn't on the menu, just ask for it 😉

What a treat with all those delicious fish and meat dishes freshly prepared at the table by the Japanese chef. But that is to be expected when you look at the price.

A no-nonsense teppan yaki restaurant with a very affordable menu for this type of establishment. The service is very friendly, attentive, accommodating, and flexible with the menu choices. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, which makes any guests—often sharing a table with a few strangers—generally pleasant and relaxed as well.

I've eaten here twice before, and it was good, but this time it took ages. My chicken was raw. I'd asked for it to be served faster several times because I had a small child with me, and after three hours, I was halfway through. This time, it was absolutely terrible!

I wish I was ALF, to have seven stomach. A lot of Devine foods 😋

The food was delicious. The dessert on the menu wasn't really special. The extractor fan above the teppanyaki grill was defective. My husband was sitting right in the fumes from the cooking. It also took too long before a cook became available.

Sushi super fresh and beautifully presented. The salmon nigiri was truly melt-in-your-mouth soft. Prices a bit high for the quantity.

The food is prepared right in front of you on a large tepanjaki plate. A unique experience and very enjoyable to watch. We paid €108 per person for the meat menu. The sushi starter was delicious. The lamb was downright tough. The duck was delicious. The Wagyu was very flavorful, but I expected it to be a bit softer and more tender. The tenderloin was also tough around the edges. The extensive use of soy sauce makes everything taste a bit the same, which I find a shame. The dessert was (seemed) factory-made. For the price you pay for the menu, it was really too simple. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. However, I don't think the price/quality ratio is right.

The food was excellent, a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. A meat-fish combo menu at a slightly lower price would be nice. The service was good, but we had to wait a long time for a chef to be available.

Enjoy an evening with the family. Good and friendly service, nice atmosphere and good chef at the table. Food was very good and wishes were taken into account if you did not like something. This was especially great for the children. They think along and adjust where necessary. Quality of food is top! And the children loved the entertainment at the chef's table! Normally I don't like reviews, but this is a good restaurant, we went here from Heerhugowaard especially to see if the reviews were really true. It was beyond our expectations, delicious food, very friendly staff and a magic show at the end. Recommended to everyone to go there sometime.

it was very tasteless. The quality of the food is tragic, it did not resemble a Japanese restaurant at all, more like a fast food establishment. The soft crab sushi was with a very large crust of breadcrumbs, although it was the most expensive sushi, €26 for 8 pieces. Small sushi with crab, it's really just with crab sticks. I do not recommend and am very disappointed with such a place to eat.

Today we had a delicious meal at Ai Uchi with a group of 15 people. The person with a wheelchair that we had with us could go through a separate entrance and then take the elevator. In the afternoon a phone call was made to ask whether we wanted to sit at one large table or otherwise. Everything was thought of. Dinner is always delicious here and that was the case again. Furthermore, friendly chefs and the other staff are also very friendly. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

It's that I can't give more stars otherwise I would... What a fantastic experience! As soon as you enter you can smell the delicious cooking skills of the chefs, before you can even process it you are kindly greeted and guided to a table, and from there everything flew in a blur of bewilderment and delight! We had a table at 7 and at a quarter past 9 we walked out of the restaurant... What an experience... The taste... My goodness... And they had fantastic wasabi!!! The service was also really sublime!!! The lady who looked after us was everywhere and we didn't have to wait to order drinks, something I really appreciate, she kept a good overview, was very polite, friendly and warm! Besides that, she occasionally came around to check if everything was still going well, if she liked the taste, if there was anything else she could do and she responded well to comments that could be interpreted as funny, of course "humor" is personal, but if she faked it she did it at a high level!!!! I find food somewhere else, which has been a punishment since yesterday... Nowhere is the food so tasty, so fresh and so wonderful for the stomach as here. Nowhere else will you receive such good and sincere service, there was also a gentleman walking around who struck me as very VERY professional! He takes his work seriously, just like the lady, and is there for the guests! The atmosphere was also fantastic, the lighting is perfect, the decor is not busy or distracting and looking around the restaurant is fun! There is plenty to see at the tables and the well-decorated walls were also very nice to look at! This experience will always stay with me! Thanks for everything!!!

Had a delicious meal on the tepanyaki plate this evening. It's very nice that they think along like this if you have had a stomach reduction (as is the case with me). The menu was adjusted on the spot and the desert could also be replaced by a delicious cup of coffee (with a delicious chocolate). It's so fun to watch your food being prepared in front of you. Because of an anniversary I wanted something special and after a lot of research I ended up at Ai Uchi. We went for the special chef's menu and we had a delicious meal and were treated extremely friendly. Too much food but all delicious.

Gift from our children for my birthday. We have never been to this restaurant before. The welcome was warm and we were neatly taken to the table. 6 more people joined us. It was a very nice company. The food was delicious, all dishes. It is an address to definitely return to.

They seemed to have forgotten our table and plate so we sat there for 4 hours. Waited far too long in between without any chef at the plate. The atmosphere around the table next to the other guests also changed, it took far too long. Some guests even left before the main course, it took them too long... then the excuse was that fish and meat cannot be prepared together at the same time, of course we understand this, but that was really not the case with us with breaks without cook of about 40-50 minutes. I would recommend another restaurant with plate

We celebrated a birthday here with delicious menus and entertainment from the chef. We had not told the staff that we were celebrating a birthday, but when they noticed, they provided a nice surprise and sang for the birthday boy or girl. The atmosphere and service were of course excellent. The food was also fantastic and it was possible to exchange items from a chosen menu with something from another menu at no cost. We had a fantastic time here for a full evening from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM and had a delicious meal.

Begin van de avond gebeld of er plek voor 2 is. Tussen 20.00 en 20.30. Met kans op ‘een beetje’ uitloop. Werd door C. Gezegd. Wij ons keurig om 20.15 melden. Mensen, we zijn aan het lijntje gehouden met ‘de chef is er zo’ ‘de chef is er elk moment’ ‘hier alvast het soepje’ ‘de tafel is bijna vrij’. Uiteindelijk zaten we rond 21.50 aan tafel en begon de chef rond 22.00 met het eten. Bijna 2 uur gewacht dus!! Dan kan je op de eindrekening wel een tegemoetkoming verwachten toch? Nee, sterker nog, onze mocktails werden als cocktails afgerekend. Ipv wat korting hebben we dus uiteindelijk meer betaald! En daar wacht je dan 2 uur op! Gelukkig was het eten en de hele show wel erg goed, daarom 2 bolletjes. Maar wel een weggegooide avond zo.

Leuke manier om aan de plaat te eten en heel toegankelijk ook qua prijzen je kan all-in gaan of kiezen voor een kleiner en betaalbaarder menu. Leuk om te doen met kids deze locatie.

Wij zijn hier wezen eten met een bedrijfs feestje. Van te voren hebben we gebeld inverband met een gluten en lactose allergie toen is er over de telefoon gezet dat dit allemaal kon en geen probleem was.Wij beginnen met eten en de kok was hier van niet op de hoogte en wist ook niet echt wat het allemaal was ( de gluten en lactose ) Er werd gewoon boter door de rijst heen gegooid en gegeven ook werden de spatels na het opscheppen van de gluten producten niet schoon gemaakt en werd het gluten vrije gewoon hiermee opgepakt. Meerdere keren wat gekregen wat niet gluten en lactose vrij was de ober zei dat dit wel zo was en later kwam denk ik de leiding gevende en die zei nee het kan toch niet dit was niet goed geregeld zeker niet heen gaan als je een allergie heb

De eerste keer geweest en nog tot nu toe niks te klagen . Alle was naar wens?

Als je nog niet eerder aan de plaat hebt gegeten kan ik me voorstellen dat het een wow effect geeft maar als je meerdere teppanyaki restaurants hebt geprobeerd is dit een mwah. We schrokken bij binnenkomst van het aantal mensen binnen, voor een plaat van 8 mensen zaten 13 mensen aan een tafel gepropt, ze proberen het zo goed mogelijk uit te melken dat is jammer want je kan je eigen gezelschap nauwelijks verstaan en dat maakt het er niet gezelliger op. Het personeel was erg hartelijk en vriendelijk maar de gastheer en gastvrouw leken niet erg plezier in hun werk te hebben behalve de YouTubers en influensers die werden schaterlachend bediend. Het eten was prima, de sushi was van uitmuntende kwaliteit. Het dessert van het menu hebben we niet opgegeten dat leek op een kant en klaar diepvries taartje. De sushi en het personeel krijgen 2 sterren.

Ik heb hier echt heerlijk gegeten! De gerechten komen na elkaar, dus genoeg tijd om van alles de genieten. Ook is het leuk om te zien hoe het ter plekke gemaakt wordt, ze maken er echt een feest van.

Ik had het genoegen om te dineren in Ai Uchi, een teppanyaki restaurant in Hilversum, en ik kan gerust zeggen dat ik onder de indruk was van de ervaring. Hieronder vind je een paar punten die mij opvielen tijdens mijn bezoek: 1. Het eten was uitstekend. De chef-koks bereidden de gerechten voor ons terwijl we toekeken, en het was een waar genot om te zien hoe ze zo vakkundig omgingen met de ingrediënten. Het vlees was mals en sappig, en de groenten waren vers en knapperig. 2. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en attent. Ze namen de tijd om ons uit te leggen hoe het teppanyaki-menu werkt en stonden altijd klaar om onze vragen te beantwoorden. Ze zorgden er ook voor dat onze drankjes nooit leeg waren en dat we ons comfortabel voelden tijdens ons diner. 3. De presentatie van het eten was werkelijk uitstekend. Elk gerecht werd prachtig opgemaakt en gepresenteerd, waardoor het niet alleen heerlijk smaakte maar er ook fantastisch uitzag. 4. De sfeer van het restaurant was heel prettig. Het was druk, maar niet overvol, en de inrichting was modern en stijlvol. Kortom, ik zou Ai Uchi zeker aanraden aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een bijzondere eetervaring. Het eten was uitstekend, het personeel was vriendelijk en attent en de presentatie van het eten was werkelijk fantastisch.

Dikke 5 sterren, elke cent waard. Mijn vriendin en ik hebben voor ons 4 jarig jubileum hier samen gegeten. Alles was overheerlijk, unieke smaken en geweldige service. Een echte aanrader voor iedereen!!

Lekker Japans eten aan de bakplaat, prima service, aanrader!

Heerlijk Teppanyaki gegeten, heel leuk met elkaar zit je om de bakplaat waar de kok de gerechten bereid! Je kan kiezen voor verschillende menu’s. Het vlees wordt op de bakplaat geflambeerd! Als je jarig bent wordt dit zichtbaar gevierd!

Ik heb mijn verjaardag hier gevierd! Onze gastheer was super aardig en wij mochten onze eigen muziek aan de box sluiten. ( toen alle gasten weg waren) Het eten was fantastisch, de sushi die we in het begin hadden was heerlijk. Service was goed eten was goed muziek was top ik zal het zo opnieuw kunnen doen! Heel erg bedankt voor de gastvrijheid.

Ok restaurant waar ze helaas om de 2 minuten komen vragen of je nog wat wilt drinken. Erg vervelend. Eten is goed maar superzout, de vis was prima. Leuk voor de kinderen. Show erom heen is leuk.

Leuke avond uit voor een groep (familie of bedrijf). Japans Restaurant Ai Uchi heeft hoge kwaliteit vers gemaakt teppanyaki. De koks vermaken het gezelschap met hun kunstjes en wat vlammen. Er is Japans bier en Swinkels (niet mijn smaak). De toegankelijkheid is prima alleen konden we voor een rolstoelgebruiker geen opgang vinden (dus moesten tillen). Het personeel is vriendelijk en hebben plezier in de bediening.

Heerlijk gegeten, goede kok en leuke bediening. Vooral aan de plaat is het genieten!

I reserved a table at this restaurant for my wedding anniversary and we found out that we couldn't have a dinner course of teppanyaki at the table (but only the spot for teppanyaki). We asked them to serve it to table but they rejected. I didn't like their service. If you want a nice atmosphere for your special day you better go to another restaurant.

Het was super om met onze familie hier onze trouwdag te vieren, geweldige bediening en super eten. Ook de verrassing die we kregen voor onze trouwdag was geweldig.

Zowel het eten als de service waren van buitengewone kwaliteit. De vis was knisper-vers en de gerechten waren als regelrechte kunststukjes opgemaakt. De staf was ter ore gekomen dat wij iets te vieren hadden. Wie schetst onze verbazing toen wij een verrassing cadeau kregen! Kortom; Ai Uchi slaagt erin om je als klant koning te voelen!

De menu's bij Ai Uchi zijn goed en op leuke wijze aan tafel bereid. De prijs kwaliteitverhouding is al op het randje, maar aangezien wij als extra'tje 1 ronde Wagyu bestelden kwam er nog even € 50 p.p. bij. Voor datzelfde geld extra hadden we ook gewoon een duurder menu met daarin niet alleen Wagyu, maar ook nog kreeft en coquilles kunnen nemen. Niet erg netjes om daar niet op te wijzen / zo met gasten om te gaan. Hierdoor ondanks het lekkere eten toch niet met een fijn gevoel naar huis gegaan. Voor mij de eerste en de laatse keer Ai Uchi.
