Jasmin in Hoofddorp

I thought I'd just order some old-fashioned Chinese. 23 euros for a container of chicken with mushroom sauce. Jokers

I've actually only gotten takeout there, but it has never really disappointed. Great Chinese food! The restaurant itself is simple.

We ordered the Sam Hee menu here 3 times at Christmas. It was excellent. This time, however, I thought it was really bad. You have to order via Thuisbezorgd, which makes it around 10 euros more expensive (dish 2 euros more expensive, delivery costs 6 euros, and 2.49 euros service fees), but that is your own choice. The Foe young hai contained 3 small pieces of chicken! The containers for the babi pangang and chicken thigh fillet were also sparsely filled with meat. If you want a large container of bami on the side, you have to pay an extra 5 euros. This container is 2 cm taller than the standard one. It didn't taste like bami from a Chinese restaurant either. It was just a container of boiled dough. It is a real shame that the Chinese restaurant is now also engaging in shrinkflation. I don't think it is worth the price I paid for it. The delivery person was on time, though.

Very bad. The chop suey chicken consisted mainly of bean sprouts, was slimy and way too salty, the chicken satay was mealy and stringy, the satay sauce was tasteless, everything was really disgusting, even the rice. I threw it away. Very bad experience, and that for 31 euros. I will never order from here again. I ordered via Thuiszorg.

Fast delivery and delicious food. Best choice in Hoofddorp when it comes to Chinese food.

Excellent food and service. Not the blend non authentic Chinese food that you normally find in The Netherlands. Very friendly waitress, we came here twice in two weeks due to travel and closeness to airport hotels and we really enjoyed everything.

The food was very average and lacked authentic flavor. What was particularly disappointing was the pricing policy - being charged 1 EUR for a small ~100ml glass of tap water feels quite unreasonable. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations

We ordered for 5 people for 130 euros, but threw away more than half of it. That nasi was disgusting. Tough, undercooked vegetables and the taste wasn't good. Just like the bami. The babi pangang wasn't really tasty either. Chicken satay was incredibly boring. Koe loe kai was disgusting and the chicken in sweet and sour sauce was boring. I'll just drive on next time. Never again here.

Best Chinese food in the Netherlands, one of the best in Europe. Very very friendly staff as well One word of warning, this is real Chinese food. Not the dutchified version most places serve. Try the home made dumplings, the beggars chicken.

We went to eat at Zhiwei for the fourth time. A few things stood out to us. To start with, the drinks menu. Not a single domestic or foreign spirit is listed. Only some unpalatable, very strong Chinese drink for which you have to pay €4.50 for a "thimbleful"... You see little to no local clientele there. A few tables with people of Chinese background. Understandable, because the food is very authentic and differs significantly from the "standard Dutch Chinese". That probably explains the absence of the local crowd. The takeaway area is very busy, however, because they are still using the old menu from the former Jasmin restaurant. Why not in the restaurant section as well? A mystery to us. The food, by the way, is delicious and reasonably affordable.

We were so happy to discover an authentic Hangzhou cuisine restaurant opened in Hoofddorp. The food was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied with our meal🙂.

This is one of the best authentic chinese food youl find and its based on the region that this chinese family are from, they told me. Very friendly staff, and they will explain with care to you what their food entails. I always get takeway their pepper salted chicken with springonions because i like it very hot. And im indian so when i say hot...its hot.

The food is DEFINITELY not what it used to be. I really have to say that the old Jasmin was the best in the whole area. Ordered Babi Pangang and a chicken dish today. It was truly inedible. Terrible sweet, jelly-like mess, and the meat was greasy.

Bought 2 chicken spring rolls, a heap of bean sprouts, and only 1 piece of chicken to be found, nothing on the other! Scandalous. Call them veggie spring rolls then.

Had a diarrhea right after a 2h meal there. There's got to be something wrong with the first few courses... well thanks for cleaning up my intestines for my FIRST time in 2026, never had it in such an explosive way The way they serve the food was also interesting. There can only be 2 hot dishes on the table at the same time, bc the 3rd dish can take an hour. Unironically, I think they could use one more waiter and be more serious about food safety.

A great location do you have a great dinner after coming off from an airplane.

Ordered a vegetarian dish + bami for 1 euro. The bami contains ham. The ingredients on the menu could be more clearly indicated with logos of the contents. It's incredibly disappointing to be so surprised when ordering. Take it as a tip!

Quality time. Had a lovely dinner. Peking duck and steak, very tasty. And the noodles were fantastic. Friendly service.

The service was fine, no complaints. The place itself was serene and quiet. The food was just bad & disappointing.. My partners chicken (in the #29) was gummy like it was pieces of fat The noodles I got (#24) were way too oily (sitting in unflavored oil) and had no flavor. Definitely overpriced for what it was.

It's rare to find such delicious Chinese food when you're a stranger in a strange land.

We tried two kinds of duck, among other things, but were unfortunately disappointed. The meat had a thick layer of dough and was anything but crispy. Often, you thought you were having a piece of meat, but it turned out to be mostly a thick layer of dough. A real shame, because the sauce itself had a good flavor. The other three dishes were also unremarkable, being too salty, for example. The duck was a real disappointment and, moreover, misleading due to the amount of dough. Furthermore, the nasi goreng and bami weren't very flavorful. It's also a shame they had ham in them, as it wasn't mentioned anywhere (not even online). It's better to opt for the white rice. I received an email to leave a review on their website, but unfortunately, they didn't post it!

The food wasn't very tasty. They even used store-bought ready-made items. The desserts were good. There might be better options on the menu, but perhaps the ones we chose weren't great. The staff were attentive and polite.

The fish is not fresh, the rest dishes tasteless. The price looks not so high, but the portion is extremely small. Spend 35€ pp, but not one is full.

This restaurant is pretty much the only option you have for Huaiyang cuisine in the Netherlands. Luckily it delivers quite well. The environment is nice and prices are fair.

A really great concept: takeout: the "Dutch" Chinese and in the restaurant: more authentic dishes. This time we ate in the restaurant. Very delicious.

Highly recommended. No Dutch Chinese but traditional Chinese dishes. Super tasty and lots of it. Top service. Definitely worth trying and as dessert the mango sago very tasty and fresh.

Let wel: deze review is voor een afhaal (menu of gerecht kan ik het helaas niet noemen). De loempia was zacht en zompig en lag in een ondefinieerbare vettige vloeistof. Er zat nog ca. 2x-3x zoveel in als op de foto, maar heb het bakje toch nog even uit de vuilnisbak gevist voor een indruk. De mihoen heeft de smakeloosheidsprijs 2025 gewonnen. Met vlag en wimpel. Alhoewel... Mihoen? Voor vermicelli had het ook door kunnen gaan. Ook daar onderin de nodige vettige vloeistof, en na enig zoeken ben ik toch nog wat kip tegengekomen! Nu weet ik niet of mijn verwachtingspatroon misschien te hoog is geweest voor een afhaalmenu, maar: mij zal je hier voorlopig niet meer zien.

New owner at Jasmin. What a disappointment. Except for the tenderloin with black pepper was good. The wonton soup tasted like seaweed really not nice. The chicken with sweet and sour sauce was very bland. Prices are very high for a dish. In short, we will not get it here again!

After more than a month, we came back to eat at the restaurant, where we found out that it had changed owners. The food is very tasty and traditional. Definitely worth eating.

there appears to be a new owner. As good as it always was, it's that bad now. Ordered spring roll and fried banana. The spring roll was still almost raw, I could easily pull off large chunks of dough. The fried banana was muddy, the fat was dripping out. They will resolve the complaint properly, and I will get my money back via home delivery. Won't be ordering from here again anytime soon

The pickled fish is good, but the boiled fish fillets are not recommended.

New restaurant in a building that was previously also a Chinese restaurant. Menu is authentic Chinese Hangzhou cuisine. Each dish is prepared with a lot of attention to detail and taste. Pan fried buns with pork filling were very light and dough was excellent. The sweet and sour sauce of the ribs tasted exquisitely subtle, not like the regular tomato sauce based sweet and sour dishes. The egg plant with garlic was tender, not oily and taste spot on. The soup tasted very good and fresh, think they used bit of melon to boost taste. Will try seafood dishes next time that will undoubtedly also be very good! Service on a Monday evening was very friendly and fast.

Delicious food, new startup also works under Jasmin, Traditional Chinese food, no longer the Dutch food to real Chinese, recommended.

First week opening, I came two times already. so far the food is great, very authentic Chinese- Hangzhou food I think, at least in Hoofddorp. But the restaurants could be too busy sometimes and not enough waiters or waitress. Ik kom zeker terug.

Prices are far too high for what you get. On top of an exorbitant "plastic surcharge" with no lower alternative at other Chinese restaurants, it's hard to come back here often. At least put the rice in a large bowl instead of three small ones and charging three times the surcharge. They do have a lot of options on the menu, which is a plus.

Spring roll and soup as a starter was better than the actual main course. But you can do it

Online besteld. 3 gerechten. Ajam (kip) pangang, babi pangang en mihoen garnalen. De kip leek gefrituurde vleesafval met bot. Taai en ranzig. De babi pangang taai en smaakloos. De mihoen garnalen (4stuks) niet lekker. 80% bleef over en ging de naar vuilnisbak. Smaken verschillen nu eenmaal. Wij vonden het een teleurstelling voor die 60 euro.

Just ordered food, I think we'll do it from a different company. Kroepoek (prawn crackers) €4, a piece of the stuff you used to get, which contained two, was now just one, and then halved, a shame about the money. Foe Yong Hai with chicken, well, I don't know where the meat was, it was just egg with vegetables. Chicken flew over it. Such a shame. And delivery was delivered half an hour later than 6 p.m.

Very nice place with owners working for themselves. We didn’t have high hopes for a bar, but the food was unexpectedly delicious!!! The prices are very cheap. The service is friendly and welcoming. We accidentally went into this place and then returned 3 times more in the next days.

Good food. Unfortunately, it will be quite expensive, just like the rest. We picked up food so I don't know what it's like to eat there and what the service is like.

It's just normal Chinese food. It's so delicious! It's not that, but it has a home-cooked feel that you won't get tired of eating, so if your taste buds are Chinese, and you're walking around the area, you can take a break and eat it, and you'll feel happy.

Best Chinese restaurant we've ever been to! Insanely delicious! All four dishes we ordered were simply superb! The photo shows beef with vegetables and black bean sauce.

Soms halen we wat sf. Maar de kwaliteit is niet meer zo goed. Al enkele jaren een favoriet van ons, maar kwalitatief steeds minder. Deze week was het leek wel bedorven nasi. Jammer maar daar gaan we niet meer halen.

Fantastic food quality and food service. A reasonable price exchange for an outstanding food such as beef fired noodle. Recommend for people want a high end traditional Hong Kong and Chinese food and service. Restaurant owners is really kind during our time dine.

We halen normaal maar wilde nu een keer in het restaurant gaan eten. Hadden een mantelzorg cadeau kaart en die zou je daar kunnen inwisselen. Wel even nagevraagd maar die kaart kende ze niet. Later bleek daze niet wisten dat het gelijk aan aan van de ander cadeau kaarten in Hoofddorp staat. Dan maar gewoon betalen. Eten hangt vooral rond "normaal" maar geen topper. Maar zeker als de tarieven behoorlijk hoog liggen. En het grootste probleem (oké op waterige saus na) het was echt heel erg weinig en de nasi bami kaal. Tip aan het restaurant: kleinere opdienschalen dan valt het minder op.

Na een vermoeiende dag besloot ik snel wat eten te halen. Ik koos twee gerechten van de kaart en vroeg aan de dame achter de balie of de prijs klopte. Ze bevestigde dit, dus betaalde ik in goed vertrouwen. Eenmaal thuis ontdekte ik dat er twee euro meer was berekend. Teruggegaan, werd mij verteld dat het de schuld van de computer was. Ik vroeg om mijn geld terug, maar dat kon niet. Ik kon wel het eten terugbrengen, maar helaas was de helft al op. Na een discussie werd het geld naar me toe gesmeten en kreeg ik te horen dat ik niet meer welkom was. Klantvriendelijkheid lijkt hier een vreemd concept te zijn. Een simpele verontschuldiging en erkenning van de fout ( oude prijslijsten met klanten meegeven) had veel kunnen goedmaken, maar blijkbaar is arrogantie hier de norm. De dame achter de bali is waarschijnlijk de uitvindster van de arrogantie. Zij melde mij ik me niet zo druk moet maken en dat ik met een kado kaart had betaald die ik ook maar gratis had gekregen ( mantelzorger kado kaart die krijg je niet voor niets ). Ik zal hier niet meer terugkomen. J.D.

Ordered food, food was good but cold, shame

I felt ripped off. Quickly got something to eat after a hard day's work. I come to the counter and ask for two dishes from the menu and also ask if the price is correct. Yes, says the lady behind the counter. Okay, I pay in good faith and come home and see that she had charged two euros more. I came back later and it was the computer's fault. I asked for my money back and that was not possible, but I was allowed to pick up the food at home and return it. Unfortunately half of it was already gone. So I made a fuss to get my money back. All in all, the money was thrown at me. With the message that I am no longer welcome. They still have to learn customer friendliness, if they had said sorry, the menu cards here are old and we apologize and thank you for the tip. Yes, difficult if you are the inventor of arrogance. I'll never come here again

Got spring rolls for the first time because the Chinese where we normally get them was closed. The spring rolls were broom salt and otherwise tasteless. So unfortunately once, but not again.

Ordered at 5:15 PM for delivery. Delivered at 7:42 PM. Called in between to find out where the food is...false promises are made. At 6:28 PM it was said that the delivery person would be coming to the neighborhood in 15 minutes (10 minutes' drive).. 7:34 PM we called again to ask where our food was... after 2:30 AM it was only delivered!! In 2h30 you can sit in a restaurant and have a normal dinner... and you still have time left... In the meantime, I ordered food elsewhere because with 2 small kids you can't do anything else at some point. Annoying lady on the line who makes excuses for everything (1 delivery person.. no delivery people.. food is not made immediately.. we combine the route etc etc etc..) my tip: if you cannot make it happen with regard to delivery, deliver then don't... and certainly don't make false promises. Worthless experience... and then also very dry babi pangang, just to name an example. 1 piece of satay chicken was undercooked anyway... my girlfriend obviously didn't dare to eat it any further... if in doubt about chicken, we won't take any risks. In summary: worthless experience, bad babi pangang, lies, annoying tone on the phone, excuses, everything is someone else's fault and nothing to Jasmijn apparently... unimaginable... once and never again... be warned

Very nice meal on a quiet Monday evening. Not the usual babi pangang, but real Chinese dishes. The choice in the menu is very large. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever eaten at. Definitely one to come back to again. Tip for the interior, make it a little more cozy.

Heb in het verleden wel beter gegeten , de saus bij de babi pangang was zo mierzoet dat je het idee hebt dat het in de abrikozen jam drijft. Vlees op zich wel oké, zacht van binnen knapperig van buiten.Service is oké, niet meer en niet minder. Begint een beetje op een doorsnee Chinees te lijken, jammer want de potentie was een paar jaar geleden wel aanwezig.

Jaren geleden haalden we hier geregeld eten. Maar al heel erg lang niet meer geweest. Tot mijn man ineens het idee had om af te halen.... Heerlijk :-) En hij werd nog herkend ook, te grappig! De eend was zalig, het sausje wat erbij zat was vrij uitgesproken van smaak, dus ik was blij dat ik het er niet allemaal overheen had gegooid. Maar het paste er wel echt bij! ook nog tjap tjoi erbij besteld omdat er anders niet echt groenten bij zitten. Mijn man ging voor de babi pangang. Heel wat de vriezer in gegaan, maar we konden niet kiezen....

Lekker eten en een goede service.

We wonen nog niet zo lang in hoofddorp en proberen zo links en rechts wat restaurants uit. Vandaag voor de tweede keer bij Jasmin on-line besteld. Het menu met een ruime keuzemogelijkheid aan verschillende gerechten en ook de loempia's waren van prima kwaliteit en goed van smaak. De bestelling werd correct en prompt op de gewenste tijd door een nette bezorger afgeleverd.

In het verledenj was het eten kwalitatief goed. Het lijkt welof er een andere kok in de keuken staat die niet verfijnt kan koken. De kip in zwarte bonensaus was vlak van smaak met grote( gekookt) stukken kip. De loempia was niet krokant gebakken, te dikke omhulsel met grote stukken kip. Het was allemaal niet lekker, slechte prijs/kwaliteit
