Nice place, if you like Japanese Fusion Kitchen. Prices on the higher side, but it's wirth it. Certainly worth a visit, even location is in the middle of an Industrial Area. Went there 3-4 times without reservation (weekdays). Service is good. Ambiente is nice, especially when you can sit outside in the "garden" in summer. Will for sure come back.

The place has chic decor and a fairly formal atmosphere. The food was decent for the price.

The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent, and the interior was beautiful, making it a memorable place. I visited twice during my trip, and both of the people who served our table remembered us and warmly shook our hands, making for a particularly pleasant experience. The crispy tacos were particularly delicious, as were the crispy king crab and rolls.

This unexpected gorgeous restaurant is in the business section of Hoofddorp. The restaurant is stunning. Gorgeous decor. Service is wonderful. They were so accommodating and kind. Fantastic service. The food is delicious! We tried the salmon torch roll and the crispy rainbow roll. We loved them both. We also really enjoyed the wonton tacos.

Today my husband and I tried this place. We loved it. Maybe on our next visit to this beautiful country we'll definitely eat here again. The staff was very friendly!

They overcharged me 100€ and never return the money ad they said, I will take this to court if nothing is done . Scammy place. DO NOT go there. I can’t stress this enough. I rarely ever leave a bad review, but this one intentionally charged you dishes that you hadnt ordered. When got cauth, they said they would return the money to our card but never got back. Not sure why Amsterdam have a place like this.

Location is atypical but was walking distance from my hotel. The ambience luxurious and good for dates, business. The food was mixed for me. Sushi roll - great Edamame with spicy sauce - OK. Stick with standard salted version Dumplings- good Upon- skip... way too sweet. Expected savory broth

Last Monday (February 24) the three of us enjoyed the delicious dishes that we were served. Consciously let the waiter in question put it all together. It exceeded our wildest expectations. Besides the fact that all dishes were delicious, the service was also very good. Fortunately not formal but not too popular either. There was also plenty of parking space. All in all, a very successful evening and certainly worth repeating. 👍

Great food, atmosphere and staff

A hidden gem in the Beukenhorst office park. The food is good. You can eat a la carte or be surprised by the chef. Whatever your choice, everything tastes good. The controls are good, but there were some gaps. Was that because it was Valentine's Day and extra busy? Everything went smoothly last time, but now a little less so. If you order a bottle of wine and it only arrives when your dishes are almost finished... And if you order port with your dessert and it only arrives when dessert is almost finished... then that does detract somewhat from the quality and overall experience.

It is certainly a winner for business lunch/dinner. Food of very high quality, one or another ingredient can be added to the appendices to experience a completely harmonious taste sensation. Service very friendly. As far as the professional competence for serving and re-hedging is concerned, a repeat course at higher hotel school cannot hurt. Wine and cocktails extensive range. Nice quiet atmosphere, friendly bar/lounge. The entrance is a bit unclear, I don't think we were the only ones who had to walk around. Ample parking. The overall picture is almost excellent.

Very good food and perfect service

I had several of their dishes. It was kind of hit and miss. It seemed the more extravagant the dish looked (and correspondingly high price), the more unexciting the food was. I've had much better tasting sushi dishes elsewhere. Service was quite good, posh atmosphere, dishes LOOKED good, eye watering prices..... In between flights and it was the only place open in the office park wasteland in Hoofsddorp.

I really enjoyed my meal at Masami. It was my last night in Europe, I was staying at the Hyatt close by. It’s easily walkable from the hotel. I took the train from Amsterdam Central back to the area and decided to stop in while walking back to the hotel. I was very poorly dressed, wearing a baseball hat. I felt bad eating there because it is a nice restaurant. I was welcomed to eat there and everyone treated me as if I was dressed in a suit. The food was great, I wish I wasn’t solo so I could have tried more dishes. It’s the kind of place you can order a bunch of things to share. I will certainly go back next time I’m staying close to the airport.

Deluxe pure, hidden gem, absolutely great

We'd booked Masami for our team welcome diner. It was the best decision! We had a fantastic time. The restaurant, the atmosphere, the food and the service were 100%. I cannot recommend this place enough, it was a delicious surprise! Thank you for making our evening special.

Masami is located in a business district. Upon entering we were assigned a spot near the door, which made me uncomfortable. When I commented about this they told me the side door would be closing soon. Drinking water was offered, and there didn't seem to be a drinks list or menu; everything had to be viewed online via a QR code. Our waitress was new and inexperienced, often distracted by her cell phone and missing our requests. We were not familiar with the menu without pictures and let the waitress choose some tasty starters for us. The sushi was beautifully presented and the seafood was very fresh, which I really appreciate 👍. The dishes were small, probably for sharing? The main meal, on the other hand, was presented very simply. We ordered wagyu, but it tasted like it had way too much salt on it. After two attempts to correct it, we requested a replacement. The waitress was very friendly and eventually offered another piece of steak. Oh, and the extra fried rice ordered was not tasty, especially reheated in the microwave. Even the children noticed. For dessert we each ordered a scoop of ice cream, but in the end the kids got a scoop each, which was correct; the adults ordered matcha ice cream but accidentally got mochi ice cream. However, it tasted good and was nicely presented, and surprisingly, my husband — who isn't usually a fan of mochi ice cream in Japan — liked it here, so no complaints there. All in all, the service was not perfect, but the attitude was positive and open to suggestions. The menu could be better; who wants to hold a cell phone in a fancy restaurant? The main courses were separate; no fries or salad with the steak, and I didn't think wagyu with a simple udon stir-fry was appropriate. For a lover of Asian cuisine, I didn't think it was balanced. Overall, more style than taste. There is a lot of room for improvement.

You can enjoy delicious food here in an atypical location. Ordering must be done via a QR code. Not really fusion but a lot of Japanese. Table lighting is a bit low in the evening. Excellent kitchen, recommended

Very very nice food and great service

I and my friend had great time in the restaurant the stuff recommended the best and amazing dishes for us and provided us great service. The must try dish is the scallops, I never tasted scallops this tasty.

Top food here and tasty, service is also very neat and careful, there has been a while when it was less but this is a thing of the past, make your reservation in time otherwise you may not have a place to eat here. We actually all order dishes to share, service also helps us with this and ensures a pleasant evening, thank you again for the wonderful evening, experience and food.

Great restaurant. I've been there twice now and both times it was a blast!

I was surprised to see my review corrected! How is that possible? I left 1 star and now i saw 3 stars with a short comment ‘good food’, which was NOT MY comment. I said the experience was unpleasant, the team didn’t follow our pre agreement and i payed much more than agreed/ way out of my budget for a very basic food / too small portions.

Why don't I give 5 stars? - Too expensive! - Too little choice - Unsuitable for big eaters. - Ordering outside the menu is not possible. - Staff didn't seem to want it. 5 stars for quality!

Second time visiting the food is good, but today was a disappointment, The business page says open till 12am but the kitchen is closed at 9 today because it was not that busy said the wine sipping crew at the table, how disappointing i had a date with my girlfriend

We looked at the wine list in the web before we went to the restaurant and the red Shiraz was 29 euros. At the restaurant the QR was 40 euros. We called the manager, showed him and asked to explain. He was so rude, he told us that he does not manage google or the web. He did not care. I asked for a complaint form and he said that he had no time for complaints and refused to give me a form. I could not believe that behavior. We could have leave, in fact we should have, but decided to stay for respect because we had ordered the food already. We had two bottles of wine during our dinner at the end. This complaint is not about the money but about the lack of professionalism and the way we were treated by this man. Unbelievable, of course he was not Dutch 👎

If it’s quality dining you’re seeking then this is the place to experience. Upon entry you can immediately feel the atmosphere shifting to a soothing, calm and vibrant energy. The decor and welcome really makes you feel like you’re meant to be there. I’ve had the pleasure of ordering a number of different dishes, seafood, meat and vegetarian and all of them were brilliantly prepared, presented and flavourful. With each bite you can taste the fusion of flavors bursting and dancing on your taste buds. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Thank you for the service and quality food!

The location may seem a bit odd, but I promise you the food and service is well worth a visit! The waiter was kind and helped us choose dishes for the table to share. The drinks and food were delicious! I’d especially recommend the spinach dish and spring rolls.

The food is good, however the whole impression was ruined because of the water. Before we even sat down the waiter gave us water and eventually we had to pay almost 8 euro for this Usually when people want to order water, the order Did not want to leave tips after this

Food was overall decent, but did not warrant the price, especially considering the miniscule servings. Bad acoustics making the otherwise very appealing atmosphere not very pleasant. A place with desires to be upscale fine dining but sadly missing the mark.

Wat een bijzonder restaurant op een bijzondere locatie. We hebben hier gegeten met een groot gezelschap. Toen ik aankwam reed ik de locatie voorbij omdat ik niet had verwacht dat het in een kantoorkolos zou zitten. Binnen echter zeer sfeervol ingericht en wij hadden de grote tafel achterin. Op het eten echt niks aan te merken, een grote variëteit aan gerechten en allen even smaakvol en verrassend. Ook het personeel doet echt zijn best om er een fijne en leuke avond van te maken. Ik kan het aanraden om hier naar toe te gaan.

Heerlijk gegeten echt een belevenis om hier te eten veel aandacht voor het eten super bediening top restaurant.

Eten goed, bediening en verzorging uitmuntend. Vond wel het volume in de zaak, zeg maar, oorverdovend. Had het gevoel dat ik de hele avond zat te schreeuwen tegen de mensen die naast me zaten.

Sushi rolls were creative and tasted fantastic! For dessert we got the chocolate dome. It’s a fun concept but was difficult to break the dome, and the desserts inside were nothing worth mentioning. It’s also VERY pricey for the portions served, in my opinion.

Amazing sushi and good food. The service takes their time (you are not rushed) thinks along. As example when doubting between sake for my palette, i got 2 small tasters then order the one i liked most. Left after a very good meal in our case just onder 70eu/pp. It is easy to go way beyond that as they also have wagyu f.e. Recomended, will come again and try more of the menu.

It is a restaurant that ticks all the boxes and as such you need to accept and expect not so much an average bill. But being pricey is justified with the great food quality and excellent service. Definitely a restaurant you would choose for a special occasion or special business guests where you could expense the bill to the company. Since it is fusion cuisine, there is a chance you might get lost in the menu, for this reason the restaurant suggests a shared dining experience and we opted for that: it turned out to be a great idea. The cheesecake part of the dessert was probably the best cheesecake I ever had!!

Very nice restaurant with great food and a bit expensive but worth it overall.

Lekkere Aziatische hapjes. Was zeker smakelijk en het personeel was vriendelijk. Ik vond de prijzen echter niet helemaal terecht, deze lagen vrij hoog vergeleken met wat er uiteindelijk op tafel kwam. Het restaurant voelde alsof het gericht is op zakelijke afspraken.

It's a bit more expensive but I loved it. The green veggie ravioli, the aubergine honey miso and the spicy udon noodles were amazing. The taco's and curry were nothing special but good. I would definitely come back and very friendly personnel.

We had a delicious supper at Masami, I thought it might be too much style over substance but the food was excellent. My Dad’s partner just asked for a selection of sushi and dim sum dishes to share, making sure there were some vegetable based dishes and lots of seafood; everything was fabulous. I lost count but I’m sure there were over 12 plates of beautifully presented food. The chocolate brownie was good, the only thing that let it down were the bits of sponge cake, they weren’t great. It has to be five stars for the food and service, four for the pudding although the presentation was definitely five.
