Sushi & Noodles Pop-up Bar in Schiphol

I wasn’t going to eat here because of the reviews but the sushi was so fresh and it was super good, exactly what I wanted during my layover

1. The food version of Ford (you can have anything you want as long as it's salmon). 2. Poor service. Dutch waitress was rude and didn't smile once. Gave passive agressive answers. The restaurant (if I can call it that) is in an international airport with people from all over the world, so you shouldn't expect every customer to speak good Dutch or English. The guy in front was Chinese and he was spoken to very rudely. So was I. I asked if they had prosecco, because I didnt see it immediately and the response was "look for yourself". I mean, if you hate your job so much, do something else with your life. 3. The only redeeming feature of this place is the fact that it is a sushi place and I felt like sushi.

Soup was ok but food is massively overpriced (we paid €72.38 for two soups and one pre-prepared veggie sushi which was like plastic :/ ) - we also saw many flies flying around the sushi being prepared - avoid this place or at the very least avoid the sushi and just get the hot noodle soup The service was very good though 👍 Veronica was lovely :)

Don't waste your money on the (vegan) bowls. Not fulfilling, random ingredients (who Puts hot dog style dried onion shreds in a rice bowl with some carrot slices, a few edamame beans and some tastekess cucumber). We left still hungry and bot satisfied after spending 40 euros for a few mediocre maki rolls (again! With tasteless cucumber, so cheapest ingredients, pieved together without a clear plan). Friendly staff though. Can't recommend

Solid food, got the pork belly noodle soup, lots of fresh veg and pork. It was microwaved but it's also airport food. Was between flights and craving something comforting that wasn't too heavy and it hit the spot. As with most airport spots, atmosphere not mind blowing but the person behind the counter was cheerful and nice.

Very tasty and plentiful, especially the meat. A bit pricey, but in line with the quality.

My husband and I enjoyed our food. He had the sushi and it tasted fresh and delicious. The broth in my soup was flavorful and yummy!

The place is quiet and not crowded perfect if you want to skip the crowd. The food was not good though. They microwaved the soup and it didnt taste anything special at all for the price. Soup needs more flavour.

Salmon wasnt even cut properly and found so many bones inside while eating. They rice is not properly seasoned with vinegar - just plain rice, and pressured too much that it was almost rice cake. I dont have high expectations in sushi in europe but still surprisingly poor quality…. If you ever had proper sushi in Asia please don’t go

I had the ramen and yakitori. It was very good. Probably a bit too costly. But they gave me a good amount.

Absolutely beautiful and wonderful noodle soup. While stuck on a four hour layover, my friends and I stumbled upon this wonder. The soup was slightly overpriced, but quite literally the most delectable thing ever. My friend had a near orgasmic reaction to the food, which was very warranted! 10/10, would go again.

I waited for noodles, and after 5 minutes they told me they only had sushi! Noodles are in your name, after all! And €25 for 6 pieces of sushi with nothing else on the side? No thanks!

The worst sushi I’ve ever eaten. Should have heeded the google review. Ice cold, overcooked yet somehow hard rice, tasteless fish. Incredibly expensive. As it currently stands, I’m taking it as a win if I don’t get food poisoning.

Food is not the best here, but quite good. What I didn't like was: 1) there were no normal spoons and forks 2) the lady who prepared my soup warmed it in microwave... no comments. 3) the chairs are not comfortable and there are a few places to sit, just 6-7 4) prices are high for such a quality of service and food

Overpriced and not worth it. Got ramen and it was just in a cup and put into a heating machine, it wasn't a freshly made one for that price. I've had better cup ramen for about ¥150 tbh. If it was about £4-6 euros I would say it's worth it with consideration that it would be at airport pricing, but it was around £19 euros... Staff busy talking to each other didn't seem too proactive with their customer service.

€51 for flavourless soup and fridge frozen dry sushi. Regrets for lunch was not on my itinerary yet here we are.

Bad food quality for absurd pricing. 23 euro mini pokebowl with undercooked, too cold and hard rice. 17 euro small portion of skewer of low quality meat and taste. Water 6 euro. 46 euro for low quality and insane prices. Did not finish food, straight to the bin. Expense waste.

Great food and friendly service. The noodle soups were delicious and generous. Not cheap, but nowhere at Schiphol Airport is cheap after customs.

Had an awesome pork ramen from these guys and the service was great. If/when I fly through Amsterdam - I’ll be sure to make this my meal.

For people who misses Asian style soup, I think the noodle soups helps.

The most disgusting sushi for the most expensive price I've ever paid. For €20, I got a sushi with softened cucumber, stale rice, and a tempura shrimp whose coating couldn't have been wobblier. I think it's a shame to rip people off so much for such bad food. You can get better sushi at any supermarket for half the price! Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the price and really not good. I had sushi tempura shrimp. The breading was very soggy, just like the fried onions. I politely pointed this out to the waitress, who reacted very rudely and said she hadn't done it. It's a shame, but I just wanted to point out that it will be better for the next customers... Very unprofessional and a complete rip-off. Any supermarket sushi is better, cheaper, and fresher.

€43 euro for microwaved soup, hard rubbery egg, hard overnight rice and bad rice to salmon ratio. The only redeeming quality was the char siu of the noodle soup.

Expansive for the quality. The egg on the noodle soup was sour. The soup was not fresh.

Very very bad. I took the salmon poke which costed 23.90 € but also 5 € would have been too much for what I got. The rice was dry as it was cooked (at least) the day before, the salmon was tasteless and the edamame were with black spots. Avoid it

Absolutely delicious noodle soup in a quiet corner of Schiphol. Impeccable.

Been here now 5 times and probably I need to learn from my mistakes. Rice hard of the pokebowls, often only 1 or 2 left during peak hours, high prices for the quality. Ppl working there, at least the ones I spoke, barely respond and work ‘also elsewhere’. A few changes could be the difference: - Make when ordered and - Make sure you have hospitality ppl serving

The rice of my €24 poké bowl had turned into one big lump because it clearly had been in the fridge for too long. The member of staff said that that happens all the time. Maybe it’s time to change something if this happens all the time?

For an Airport food stand, the portion of meat and shrimps is quite large. Good value for the money.

Definitely NOT stingy on the meat.... Lots of pork in the pork noodle soup... and it was very good. I did not think I was actually going to get a full meal in a soup cup. :-) Great place to eat for short or long layovers.

Stay away from the noodles. They're served in very cheap, flimsy packaging that can collapse if squeezed even a little, spilling very hot broth all over. Not a good experience.

Soup is fine. Sushi are not fresh, hard rice, super cold and expensive. Waste of money

Good noodle soup option in Schiphol

Pre-prepared suhsi where the rice is soggy and way too cold. Looks nice but I regret it after the first bite. Not much different from the suhsi from the refrigerator at Albert Hein.

Great place, nice atmosphere, food a bit on the expensive side, but it is Schiphol. You get top quality, definitely recommended. Best sushi I've eaten.

Terrible food and service, my partner spent merely one minute to think what to order, and the staff already got impatient and served her with aggressive attitude. What’s wrong with you? Food is terribly made and expensive. Definitely avoid.

Limited menu items (more of a grab and go type place) and a bit pricey but convenient for a healthy snack between layovers.

I really enjoyed discovering this restaurant option at Amsterdam Schipol airport. Although the prices were higher than usual, it was worth ordering a bowl of salmon. It was delicious and made me feel like I had eaten real food instead of just a snack like some other restaurants offer.

Terrible quality and abusively expensive. Being an airport restaurant like Schipol is not an excuse for those prices vs quality.

The salmon set in the photo costs 25 euros (4,000 yen). The rice was as hard as sticky rice and extremely bad, but the salmon was delicious. I don't think it would be a bad idea to want Japanese food at Schiphol Airport.

Poorly made sushi. Especially the rice.

I complained as there was a lot of small flies at table to eat food. Staff was in my opinion rude when I told them. 38 euros not great.
