Jay in Binnenstad-Zuid

We had booked a beer tasting. It was organized by Lemmy's and Uzzewuzze. Uzzewuzze is a local brewery from Roelofarendsveen with fan-tas-tic beers. The food was provided by Bart (chef and also brewer at Uzzewuzze). Beer sommelier Jelle gave a nice explanation of the beers with their specific "Veense" names during each round. The owner of Lemmy's had arranged everything well. At the end of the afternoon, we were served a cheese board with a delicious glass of port, making for a wonderful afternoon.

Nice terrace on and by the water. Standard snacks and drinks. Breakfast and dinner are also available. Attentive and friendly service despite the size and busyness. On the edge of the city center.

Nice café De Kist and a pleasant evening

Cozy pub in the heart of Leiden, nice beers from Leiden itself, and more. Was able to sit outside in the sunshine yesterday.

Wonderful atmosphere. Good working class pub.
