Visited in 2019, eating in the middle of the Sea is like nothing else! Food is Satisfactory, but the scene makes it definitely worth a visit!

The fish was inedible. I paid €10 for one portion. I feel overwhelmed and nauseous. Such a waste of a beautiful location.

What unfriendly staff. I understand that COVID-19 is affecting us all, but going completely off the rails when you ask to use the restroom is a bit much. Note: ordering one drink requires one person to use the restroom. If your fellow traveler also needs to use the restroom, it's strictly forbidden.

A place to eat and go out. We were the only ones in the place, and it was definitely lunchtime.

Sternstraat 72The fries were cold, the special dish came with no vegetables, and the amount of meat was minimal. The kapsalon was full of raw onions and poorly fried fries. We contacted them, but no suitable solution was offered for the expensive, poor meals. We could get a voucher, but we don't want it because we are never ordering here again.

Akkerweg 39We always stop by here whenever we go to Texel. But this was definitely the last time. Table sticky. Tea glass dirty. Tomato soup lukewarm and sour meatballs. The soup was served in a rusty little pot. Croquette lukewarm. When paying, the receipt showed 2.50 for an open kitchen. This was for an extra plate. All in all disappointing and not what it always used to be for us.
