We had a delicious meal; everything was fresh and incredibly flavorful.

Catering arranged at our accommodation nearby. The food was fantastic! There was plenty of it, and making arrangements was quick and easy. Highly recommended!

I ordered food, everything was dried out, the chicken satay was burnt and dry. I just threw everything away.

We arrived at the restaurant as a group of four. All the tables inside were empty, but the unfriendly owner told us we could only eat outside. He wanted us to sit at a table for two, even though there was plenty of space outside. They clearly didn't want any customers.

2 stars Our experience was fine the first two times. We were served by the owner/chef back then, and the quality was good and the quantity sufficient. Unfortunately, subsequent experiences were a major disappointment. We ordered a rijsttafel for two people (€25 p.p., €50 total), but the portion seemed intended for one person and was divided between two small bags. You really expect more for this price. The Indonesian flavors themselves are good, but unfortunately, the price-quality ratio is insufficient. Ordering is also a hassle: ordering in advance is virtually impossible, and pickup is only possible after 5:00 PM, provided the employee has time for it. Too bad, because it started promisingly. For us, the choice next time is simple: we’ll get takeout from the Chinese. That’s where you *do* get value for your money.

We had a delicious meal here last week. The service was excellent, the menu recommendations were good, and the atmosphere was cozy and warm. Definitely a place to come back to.

Yesterday I discovered Taste of Bali by chance and I thought: let me get two containers. Saves cooking. The food was okay, but what I found particularly disappointing was the price-quality ratio. The container is three-quarters filled with nasi or bami, and on top of that you get two tablespoons of various dishes (3 or 4 pieces). In that case, I find €15 per container quite pricey. If I compare it to a takeaway in Amsterdam where I sometimes get takeaway, and where I pay €12 per container filled with various dishes (about 6 or 7 pieces) and good portions, then this is relatively less. And I'm talking about a city like Amsterdam where prices are skyrocketing. The flavors were fine, but due to the price-quality ratio, I wouldn't get takeaway here again myself.

We ordered medium nasi goreng and a portion of satay for two people. 12.50 each, and 8.50 for the satay. We found the food to be very substandard. The nasi was a plate of rice with dried-out chicken, a tiny spoonful, and a tiny spoonful of green beans. The meat was dried out and not fresh, and the beans had an off-taste. As for the satay—we expected tender meat with a tasty satay sauce—it was completely dried out by the microwave. So, a large part of the food ended up in the trash and not in our stomachs.

The roti here is excellent, with plenty of choices. Although the menu seems a bit short upon arrival, the variety is there. As a bonus, we had homemade spekkoek (a type of layer cake) and a scoop of coconut ice cream! I'm completely full! We'll definitely be back!

The food was tasty, but very little for 18.50

The food was okay, but not exceptional for the price. For example, three satays were very small for €10.50. I was with children, and after 45 minutes I asked where our food was. The takeaway service was quite fast, from what we saw. People ordered and were gone with their food within 10 minutes. The food didn't need to be prepared at that moment; it was heated up from containers. I really think it's a shame we had to wait so long and that it was so expensive for what you got. So, we won't be returning.

There was no staff so you could only pick up but the rendang was not made with lean meat and the tofu and tempeh was very dry and at 15 euros it was very expensive

We picked up a meal for two people. We didn't opt ​​for a set menu, but ordered separately and heated everything up at home. Noodles, portions of satay, some vegetables, and risotto. I had a really delicious roti. I also tried some of the nasi. Everything was freshly prepared and served straight from the pan, so it was nice and hot. Definitely recommended. Although the first impression doesn't quite suggest it, you can also enjoy a delicious meal here.

I often get a menu for home at taste of bali. Now my son turned 21 and we both thought it was a good idea to choose the catering of taste of bali. I made an appointment in the store and chose the dishes. Everything is possible, what a service. It was neatly delivered and prepared. 18 people had a good meal. Delicious food and well priced, got a tip from family. My wife and I took the menu option, available in small, medium and large, and large is really large :) , with several types of meat and vegetables. A rice table is also possible. From the street it looks like a takeaway restaurant, but behind the bar there are several tables, that is not easy to see from the outside

Brought delicious food for 4 people on King's Day. It tasted delicious, noodles, vegetables, egg and meat for a reasonable price, just warm it up in the microwave and definitely worth repeating.

I thought the Roti was sublime. The chicken thigh was wonderfully tender, well cooked and nicely seasoned. This also applies to the potatoes and beans. This dish is highly recommended. The noodles and chicken satay were also approved. Just like the Bali Rames. Very happy with this Taste of Bali.

Due to family circumstances, I was looking for a catering company that could provide an Indian rice table for 120 people in a short time. I ended up at Taste of Bali from Schagen. After visiting in person, I was spoken to by Ron Portier. After explaining what I wanted, a menu was immediately put together and delivery date and times were agreed. The menu consisted of: Nasi Kuning, Nasi Puti, a vegetable dish and 3 meat dishes. The food was delivered on time (distance was Schagen - Den Helder) and the warming containers were installed including plates and cutlery. The food was excellent and tasted like what we and our guests (120 people) were used to from the Moluccan kitchen. The reactions from our guests were great. We were asked several times which catering had been approached. The answer was of course Taste of Bali. Everything was picked up again at the agreed time. Quite a story, but I didn't want to deprive you of my experience with Taste of Bali. Once again Taste of Bali, thank you!

I found the food very tasteless and not spicy even though I asked for it, not authentic flavors, a pity it never tastes like the Dutch mouth, that is the biggest mistake you can make.

Catering, the extended version, ordered for 10 people. Delivered on time and complete with warming (au bain marie) containers. We had some of the spicy flavors, delicious! Pick up or eat on site, always good, just like it was from Anna Paulowna! Recommended for Asian (Indonesian) food.

Delicious food in a special section, well separated from the takeaway section. We ate the Rames menus. The medium is a plate filled with 2 types of vegetables, 2 types of meat or chicken or vegetarian (of your choice), egg telor and satay skewer. The homemade sambal is also recommended. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

Taste of Bali? Taste of Sh.t did not taste good, dishes on the menu cannot be ordered sold out. And this in a restaurant? How then is no clothing store that things are sold out. De gado gado is niet echt Indische maar een Hollandse variant met grote gesneden wortels en broccoli. Had geen idee dat in de sawa's in balie broccoli groeit. Ik ben zelf volbloed Indonesische ik heb dit nog nooit meegemaakt in Gado Gado. Niet echt Indische. Had het graag anders willen zien echt Indische onder ander met lontong.
