What a disappointment. Waited more than two hours for a simple burger. Had to call in between to ask where it was. In the end I was given the excuse that there had been an accident and that they had to make the food again - and coincidentally that was suddenly possible within 25 minutes. But even then the food arrived cold. The taste itself was fine, but that does not outweigh the poor service, long waiting time and cold delivery. This was the second chance, but also the last.

There are places to eat that challenge your mind, and there are places to eat that satisfy your stomach. Jouhara’s Burger is neither one nor the other, and yet it deserves our attention. As someone who daily ponders the abstractions of Gödel’s incompleteness theorems and is bored by the simplicity of Kant, I was struck by something rarer than a black hole in the Overvecht district: a burger that dares to compete with the Big Mac – with genuine ambition. Halal, moreover. Let me be clear: Jouhara is not a place for the aesthete or the gourmet. The interior would not survive an episode of Keuringsdienst van Waarde. The chairs are so dilapidated that they defy the laws of gravity by even standing upright. The floor is not a surface, but an archive – a sedimentary layer structure of fat, cola and human failure. Every step echoes stories that are better left untold. The toilet? Many have entered with one mission, but have come out exhausted and empty – physically and emotionally. And yet… The burger. The burger is phenomenal. Not in a gastronomically high-minded sense, but in a Platonic one. An idea is approached here, a form, a bourgeois ideal. The balance between meat, sauce and bun is so precise that I suspect that there is an accidental genius working in the kitchen. Or an autistic person with obsessive tendencies towards symmetry. The ladies behind the counter are rarely friendly. That is a euphemism. They look at you as if you are responsible for their life choices. But the men more than make up for that: hospitable, friendly, genuinely interested in your opinion about 'the new spicy'. Jouhara's is a contradiction. It is dirty but addictive. Unpleasant but indispensable. Unsociable but unparalleled. Conclusion: Those who dare to look beyond the surface – or simply close their eyes – will be rewarded with a burger that will put a smile on your face and a little cholesterol in your heart. And sometimes that's all you need.

I am satisfied with the quality, the portion of fries is 3X as big as McDonald's fries, really go to this place.

The food is super tasty and always fresh! I never regret it and I look forward to enjoying the delicious burgers again next time.

They have become more expensive over the years, but burgers seemed smaller.

As a regular customer who orders regularly, you will still receive very poor service. There was a whole discussion about raw food on the phone, without any sympathy or understanding. As a pregnant woman I had strong cravings, but in the end I was disappointed. For me this is the last time purely on principle.

We ordered food and milkshakes. We were sent 2 Redbull instead of the Milkshakes without calling and indicating in advance, nice, so my children of 6 and 8 are obliged to drink Redbull? We tried to contact the company for half an hour, but unfortunately no answer and voicemail every time. By the way, this isn't the first time this has happened, so we won't be taking JOUHARA anymore.

the place was nice and the food and service was good. the prices are also good. for 3 persons I paid 25 euros and that is good we were full.

Ordered menus for 5 people for a whopping 65 euros, including a 7-year-old child who had a chicken nuggets menu and received 3 nuggets. That entire bag contained 1 napkin for 5 people. Napkins are often a problem for you, as are the sauces that are often forgotten. The last time I forgot a can of drink but I paid for it! I can't even remember when it went well in one go. But I called and said it about those nuggets and napkins. An hour later (child was already in bed) an Eritrean boy rings the doorbell with a crumpled paper bag with 2 pathetic cold nuggets in it and exactly 5 napkins. Only came to ring the doorbell when he had placed all the other orders and we were done because you were done with us a long time ago! BUT the delivery costs have already been COLLECTED. I gave those nuggets to the seagulls. I learned from my father, if you have to beg for something, throw it in the trash, even if it's yours. Normally a completely new menu is offered as compensation with apologies, but no, not with you. You bring exactly the 2 missing nuggets and 5 napkins. Those children's menus are also a joke. From a toy in the beginning to a 10 cent lollipop. Always zigzag, it's in our blood, that's why we don't succeed.

We eat here more often with the family and even during my evening shifts when I want to quickly eat somewhere tasty. Jouharas in The Hague is always my place. Burgers always fresh and hot. Adding a prayer room makes it even better.

Paid 20 euros and after a bite a limp wrap full of lettuce and sauce, warm coke, limp Kinderburger with onions!!!! burger looked like a fossil. a table with food that has just finished. Should make them think. I won't go any further. Never again.

When Jouhara first opened I really loved it. The staff is nothing to complain about, but I don't think it's really cool there. Stick the floor and table. The toilet seat is loose. A bit of a shame, because I would have liked it if we could get a burger when we were in The Hague. Maybe pick up only

Voor het eerst bezocht ik samen met mijn kinderen deze zaak, op een woensdag. Wat ik kan herinneren en hoe ik het heb ervaren... Het was rustig... de medewerker die mij hielp was heel kalm... meedenkend... Al snel na mijn bestelling volgde andere klanten... Wij hebben niet lang gewacht op ons eten en het was zo anders dan elk andere fastfood restaurant. Het was er schoon. Het voedsel was warm, frisse groente en smaakvolle burgers. Alles wordt vers en met aandacht klaargemaakt. Er zijn genoeg zit plaatsen en geschikt voor ook kleine kinderen. Oja en de prijs valt ietsjes mee i.v.m. anderen. Een aanrader voor iedereen die nog niet is geweest! De overige restaurants kunnen hier misschien wat van opsteken!

Bestelling afgehaald helaas zag het broodje flaming chicken er karig uit leek net als of de bereider er geen zin had om te maken, jammer.

Lekkere kipburgers (moroccaine) en heerlijke frietjes. Vriendelijk personeel en ruimte om te bidden. Voldoende ruimte om te zitten. De toiletten mogen wel schoner en aandacht aan worden besteed.

Net een hamburger gekocht daar en een friet in 1 woord wauw super goed doorgebakken de friet aardige mensen en de hamburger was heerlijk mmm en goedkoop

Leuke tent met lekkere burgers. Er wordt geen muziek gedraaid en er is een family/ladies only ruimte waar je ook kan bidden. Een aanwinst dus!

Het is echt duur. De menu's zijn erg klein, de sfeer is leuk, maar het eten verdient deze prijs niet.

Hier krijg je burgers, zoals ze horen te zijn. Goede kwaliteit vlees, lekker broodje, perfect gebakken burger, smaakvolle toppings én ook nog eens super lekkere frietjes erbij. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en wij kunnen niet anders concluderen dat Jouhara’s Burgers een pareltje in Den-Haag is. Echt een feestje om hier te eten.

It is very good that it offers halal options for Muslims. However, there are some points that need improvement. For example, the meatballs are very thin. Although I ate a double cheeseburger, I was not satisfied. If you order potatoes on the side, maybe you will be satisfied. I wouldn't say I liked that they put ketchup in the hamburger. They can try a more special homemade sauce. Unfortunately, it missed the taste of the burger. The taste of hamburger patties is average. As someone who has eaten hamburgers in Turkey and many places, these are my humble recommendations.

Snel even naar binnen gewandeld om de honger te stillen. Voor wat je krijgt zijn de prijzen veel te duur (maar dat is overal in nederland). Kreeg me bestelling vrij snel, de patat was lekker en de portie was goed. Ook de burger was prima te doen, gwn wat je er van verwacht.

Tasty burgers. The beef patties are a copy of mcdonalds beef patty. Same texture and taste. The hot chicken.... wow. Better than the kfc zinger burger. Only small downer is the fries. Too thin. Not impressive. But still overall very pleased with the food. And would def eat here again if I pass by den haag.

Zeer lekkere burgers. Hot chicken en flaming pakistan zijn een aanrader. Naast het lekkere eten wordt je altijd goed bediend door vriendelijke personeel.
