Juicy’s Island in Rotterdam Centrum

I recently ordered from Juicy Island and, to be honest, it was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, the food didn't look appealing to begin with. The portion was on the small side, especially considering the price. What stood out most was the almost complete lack of sauce. The dish is supposed to be flavorful and juicy, but it was quite dry and really lacked that "juicy" experience you'd expect from this name. The fries and chicken were prepared okay in themselves, but without sufficient sauce, the overall experience just doesn't live up to expectations. It feels like they are cutting corners on key aspects. For this price, you expect more flavor, better presentation, and a fuller portion. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Hopefully, they will improve this in the future, but I wouldn't be quick to order again like this.

I ordered here and had to wait 2 hours. I thought it was taking a long time, so I eventually called them 13 times, but no one ever answered. Once it arrived, the order was incomplete, but calling here is pointless too.

I ordered 40 euros worth of food and instead of 3, only 1 came. I didn't accept that one either. I called 22 times and no one answered for me. That's okay... you guys are ruining it yourselves!!

Don't be fooled by their TikTok videos. I ordered something that wasn't cheap and got one meager container. So little meat, sauce, and fries, never again.

This was my first time at an Antillean restaurant. We ordered calamari, chicken main dish, and pork chop. The staff was very friendly, but it took a while for our food to arrive. Finally, it arrived, and I finished my entire plate. The chicken main dish was very well-prepared and had good portions. The calamari was also well-prepared. The pork chop was a bit dry, and with a little less sauce, it would have been perfect. The restaurant's atmosphere was a bit chilly, but they played nice music, which is also very important. So, the food was very good, but perhaps the restaurant itself could be decorated a bit better, and then I'm sure many more guests will come.

I don't even think they deserve a star. Ordered food and it was never delivered. For anyone who wants to order food from here, I advise you to order somewhere else.

We waited for a long time without any attention, so we decided to go to the cash register ourselves. In addition, there was a musty smell in the building and the staff did not seem particularly enthusiastic about our arrival. In short, the service was far below expectations and not in line with the cheerful atmosphere that can be seen on TikTok. We decided to leave immediately.

Dramatic! Place an order 2 hours in advance for collection at 8:00 PM. Called 20 minutes in advance to say it would be ready at 8:20 PM and after an hour of waiting, still no food! Ridiculous service. For us - NEVER AGAIN

The food itself was edible. Only ordered 2 normal portions and 1 large. Unfortunately I got 3 normal portions instead of 2 normal and 1 large. Too bad there is no number you can call.

Son was in Curaçao last year and had Galina there. He liked that so much. Asked everywhere where he could order it. Today was the day. Very friendly and helped very quickly. My son has been bunkering down and with every bite he said ohh, it's delicious, mom. This is now his favorite place. We will definitely come here more often!!!

Ordered mix chicken and shrimp. It looked tasty, but the container was mainly filled with fries. Little chicken and no less than 6 small shrimps. Less fries and more meat would improve the price/quality ratio. The place isn't even attractive and not really female-friendly with all those boys hanging around inside. So we decided to take the food with us instead of eating there.
