Absolutely terrible experience. The food was poor quality and completely disappointing. To make matters worse, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, and the owner’s attitude was even worse. There was zero hospitality or respect for customers. I strongly regret spending my money here. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had—avoid this place.

The worst restaurant you could ever eat at in your life. Try not to go unless you're starving and there's no other place open. If you stay hungry, even better. The food tastes awful, they rip you off on the bill, and if you don't pay in cash, they charge you tax too. I mean, how they even let it open in Amsterdam? Nobody knows.

Very bad experience. Items were added to our bill that we had not ordered at all. When we wanted to pay, the payment terminal was switched off, clearly creating the impression that they wanted to force us to pay in cash. When we asked for an explanation, the owner was very rude and aggressive. A completely unacceptable way of dealing with customers, which gives the impression that they are trying to mislead customers. I advise everyone to check the bill carefully and ask about the prices beforehand. Personally, I will never come back here.

Don't go. Just like most other reviews say, they subtly double-count. They serve bread as if it were included in the meal (baked in advance even though I didn't order it...) and include it in the bill... If I had read the reviews first, I wouldn't have gone, but I just happened to pass by and went in without thinking...

Absolute HORROR. They charged €1.95 for service even though the service was terrible. The kebab was undercooked, and they charged another €1.95 for bread without telling us. They first claimed the card machine was broken and only accepted cash. I only had €20 for a €56 bill, and suddenly the card machine “worked” again. Food was bad, service was bad, food was overpriced and even a 0.5L bottle of water cost €3.95. If this is the only place open, I’d still say: DO NOT EAT HERE.

Even if it is the only and last place to eat in Amsterdam I won't ever go there or recommend to anybody. Food horrible, service disaster, and they cheat charging extra things like "services fees" and bread. DISGUSTING

Very disappointing experience at Kabab House in Amsterdam. I ordered two dürums and two colas here and paid a total of €33.75. Unfortunately, the dürums were truly substandard. I had ordered falafel, but there was hardly anything inside, and even the falafel was missing. The dürum was incredibly thin and contained almost no filling, along with just a few fries. For this amount, you expect a decent, well-filled meal. €33.75 for two dürums and two drinks is quite a lot, especially considering the quality and quantity you get. I am absolutely not satisfied with this and find the price-quality ratio very poor. Too bad, because I had expected more. Definitely not recommended for me.

I’ve never been to a restaurant where I feared for my safety, until I entered this place. I ordered and had to get a friend outside to let him know where I was, and as I was walking out, the owner ran to block the entrance and absolutely lost it. He screamed at me, and when I say screamed, I mean SCREAMED at the top of his lungs so that everyone inside stopped and stared. When I calmly explained to him I was only stepping out for a minute to pull in someone, he only became more irate, thinking I was planning to dine and dash before I even got to dine? Why would I come in, order, and simply leave without even getting my food? It was horrifying behavior. This man should not be running a business with that attitude. I paid and took my food to go, but the food itself was not good either. Listen to the reviews and do not go here.

Great food but crazy prices. Shawarma meal cost me 23E. In other countries it would be 10E. Prices aren't displayed, only images.

The quality and appearance of the shawarma on the plate is very poor, NO VEGETABLES on the plate, etc. Very poor value for money!

Rude service. We were standing near the exit because one of the brothers was trying to get a raincoat out of his backpack. An old man came up and started pushing me and yelling. As the old man was pushing me, a young employee came up and shielded me from the old man's kick. We eventually left, but unfortunately, I was leaving at 3:00 PM, so I didn't have time to call the police.

Right when we were about to check out, they told us their card reader machine had just broken. Then they had an employee take us to two different ATM machines where our card would not work and then they finally let us use the card reader. Also charged us more than they said they would. None of their prices are posted on the meals so be aware! Food portions are also small. Don’t make the mistake we did and read reviews! We were hungry and tired and stopped here without taking our own advice.

1. Received a pitiful amount of fries with my meal. 2. Per other reviews, was charged a service fee which was not explained to me. 3. Was informed that the card reader broke “today” so I would have to pay with cash. Wasted 15 minutes being escorted by a staff member to 2 separate ATM’s because my card wouldn’t work at either. Reluctantly, he brought us back to the restaurant, and, magically, his credit card machine worked immediately. 4. TV was on full volume the entire time and was quite distracting from the meal.

Run away! Charging €20 for a dish advertised at €14 on their menu is outrageous! And the portions are ridiculously small!! Five tiny frozen falafels, a small side of raw vegetables, and thankfully there's a decent amount of hummus... In short, go somewhere else if you're hungry and on a budget.

The food was very good, the shawarma and the white sauce were amazing, even though it had 47 diseases in it. The potatoes were served sparingly, and the second time they came with a surprise red powder on them. The guy with the cap who serves you and has multiple jobs is rude and lazy; he needs to learn Spanish so people don't mess with him so much. Cheers.

Three shawarma wraps and a falafel. Well, actually we ordered two shawarma wraps, a kebob, and a falafel. Originally told €7.90 each, then €32 at the counter, which was fine. Demanded that we paid cash, which we only had €30, even though they had a card reader next to the till and there was no signage indicating cash only. Said that we could “try to use the card machine, but it hasn’t been working”. Took our cash and charged us an extra €17.90 on the card, which definitely worked. Criminal.

The food is halal as indicated, but the taste is very mediocre. The shop lacks respectful staff; for example, there is an Egyptian cashier whose attitude is very poor, even though he provides the service for free.

If you are a tourist do not stop here. Shitty employees who will rush you to order, quietly double charge you, ask for what you want and still make a default, not-to-order item. Then they will rush you out of the store if you sit down, saying it is takeout only, the store is closing, or some other excuse.

First time got scammed here. Food was ok. Waiter told us the bread is 1.95 for 2pcs. Our friend ate 1. They charged us 5x1.95 for the bread. Still water charged at 3.something euro (forgot) the same price with coke. Dont bother to come here. There are halal foods elsewhere.

There was no information that the restaurant was cash only, so we had to spend extra time finding an ATM and also pay additional fees to withdraw cash. The food quality was very ordinary — it was only good enough to fill your stomach. They also charged 4 euros for bread without informing us that it had an extra cost. By the time of billing he lied that he already told us it will cost. I argued that he didn’t and then he removed the price. Also, they charge extra for table service. Zero-star guys, go straight to the place. Worst kebab I've ever eaten. Plus, they have a hidden POS because they only take cash.

At first glance, you think it's okay because it doesn't look like a tourist trap... except they're hiding something. All drinks are €4. That includes fries, except there are only about ten of them. There's no sauce in the pittas or wraps... I ate a completely dry falafel pitta. There was at least one hair in two wraps. We paid €14 per person for a wrap without any raw vegetables or sauce, with a few fries and a drink. The waiter, acting on orders from his boss, politely asked us if we wanted cheese. Luckily, we said no because I saw that it would have been an extra €2, which they obviously didn't mention. When it came time to pay, €2 was added out of nowhere, and to top it all off, they didn't accept debit cards. The owner is horribly unpleasant, and the friendly waiter carries out the order with a sometimes (falsely?) apologetic air. In short, don't go there, and generally speaking, don't eat in this very touristy part of town.

I recently tried the kabab roll from this restaurant Kabab House, and it was absolutely amazing! The roll was packed with juicy, flavorful kababs, wrapped in a perfectly soft and slightly crispy paratha. The balance of spices, sauces, and fresh ingredients made every bite delicious. The portion size was generous, and the roll was well-wrapped, making it easy to eat on the go. The service was also quick and friendly, adding to the great experience. If you’re craving a tasty and filling kabab roll, I highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back for more.

I had a very bad experience here on a dinner here. They charged €4 for a small ketchup pack (that they bring to table by there own not even ordered) and €4 for a Coca-Cola (high than standard other restaurants). My wrap was mostly bread with very little lamb, and the kebabs was broken and loose . When I asked for the bill, they claimed it was misplaced. There attitude with customers was like hell weird and aggressive that they are just waiting to scam international tourist and having fun. This feels like a scam targeting tourists. Be very CAREFUL as their cheap scam can make you feel unsecure and down. i asked where he is from and he said from Egypt. Seems very very greedy pigs. SCAM Unfortunately, we didn't check the reviews before going, and what a mistake! We were told we had to buy drinks to stay (€4 per drink, price not listed anywhere, of course). We received the final price: €32 for two drinks and two kebabs (€9.95 each). €2 for a tiny slice of cheese, €2 for service. Honestly, it's outrageous. There were two people there; the younger one seemed nice, but the older one was really unpleasant. Seriously, avoid this place! First time we've ever paid for service in a kebab shop.

Don’t come here. They over charge you on your order. They ask if you want items such as cheese (apparently $2 extra per dish), jalapeños ($5), sauce ($2 each). They asked if we wanted sauce and automatically gave us 3 when we said yes. Charged us for all 3 when we did not use them all. They even came back to ask us if we wanted cheese on the one dish we said no to. These add ons are hidden on the back page of the menu. They actively trick you into paying more which is distasteful. There is no itemized receipt and you only find out at the end that you can only pay cash. TERRIBLE experience.

The bathroom was disgusting and the cooker that made our food was the last one to use it. Also it doesn’t accept cash he suggest some friends atm to take out cash.
