Delicious food, a warm welcome, and a fantastic stay from start to finish! It couldn't be better, as far as we're concerned!

A private dining evening with a large group of friends is possible at Katz in Ruurlo. For a special occasion, Katz opened its doors exclusively for us. A menu suggestion was made beforehand, with delicious dishes available for vegetarians and vegans. The service was tailored to our preferences, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I was asked, "When will we be back?" Since we're not from the area, that will unfortunately be a while off. But with Katz, Ruurlo has gained a charming and enjoyable restaurant.

A fantastic restaurant! Delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes, but the meat dishes are also highly recommended. Truly something for everyone at a good and fair price. A charming little restaurant with a personal touch. Very friendly owners, definitely worth a visit. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. The atmosphere is truly homey in the best sense of the word. A real asset to the community.

The food was worth its 5 stars. We had kohlrabi carpaccio and Nordic ravioli as our starters. Main course: sirloin steak and pork ribeye. For dessert, we had the Golden Mist. Everything was carefully prepared by the artist in the kitchen; it was a sight to behold and delicious to eat. There's limited seating, so if you want to be sure of a table, I definitely recommend making a reservation. If you're in the area and want something different than just a meal, it's highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal with lovely wine. It's run by two friendly people, and the atmosphere is lovely. The music is just the right volume. Definitely recommended for anyone who appreciates tasty, lovingly prepared dishes.

I quickly had a drink and checked out the beautiful location. I'll be back for dinner with my sweetheart soon.

Highly recommended for Ruurlo and the surrounding area! We had a truly delicious meal here. Also great for vegetarians and vegans. Perfect flavor combinations, and everything prepared with great care and passion. We'd love to come back again (it's definitely worth the detour!)

The food was truly fantastic! Unique combinations that truly led to a "foodgasm." Delicious options, both meat and vegan, a real treat. Excellent value for money. It's a shame I don't live nearby, otherwise I'd eat here much more often.

New in Ruurlo and a wonderful surprise. Vegetables in the leading role, fresh and delicious. We had lunch with four and all four -spoiled eaters- were enthusiastic. Refined dishes, wafer-thinly sliced ​​stewed fennel for example, salads that for a change do not consist of a bowl of green lettuce. Beautifully presented, everything taken care of down to the last detail.

You can go to Ruurlo for the big eateries, but you can also go for small and nice. In that case you have to go to Katz. Friendly people who really do their best. Stylish and tasty are applicable! Recommended!

Very nice concept. In terms of atmosphere, a living room restaurant with good, refined food with mostly local ingredients. Simply be surprised by the dinner and the drinks package is highly recommended. Not only wines, but also a juice and herbal tea in between. They work with love and passion and we had a wonderful evening out!

A discovery and gem among all the standard restaurants in Hengelo. Slightly different. A warm living room effect, fantastic food that is partly prepared at the table by the chef and delicious drinks with the dishes, including good wine, ginger beer, port, cocktail and herbal tea. A real hit and recommended!

Echt heerlijk gegeten! Bijzondere wijnen.. goed qua porties & betaalbaar voor zo’n hoog niveau van koken. Kortom: een grote aanrader !

Michelin opgelet. Dit restaurant is jullie ster waard. We zijn onthaald en behandeld als koningen. Maar dan niet stijfjes en geacteerd, maar gastvrij, ongedwongen en persoonlijk. Marloes en Patrick zijn ware foodkunstenaars. Creatief en met kennis van zaken. Ecologisch verantwoorde prdukten uit de regio, in harmonie met de natuur en de seizoenen. Met recht foodatelier genoemd. Aan alle details is gedacht. De presentatie, het servies, de muziek en de timing. Nooit hebben we lang hoeven wachten en toch kregen we een avondvullend programma. Met maar liefst 7 gangen met bijbehorende drankjes. De kwaliteit van een toprestaurant voor een schappelijke prijs. Als je wat te vieren hebt, moet je hier zijn!

Briljant en duurzaam concept, waarbij de eigenaren heerlijk eten, gezellige sfeer en topservice hoog in het vaandel hebben staan. Hier gaan we zeker vaker komen!

Wat een ontdekking dit restaurant! Ontzettend lekker gegeten. Ze kopen zoveel mogelijk regionaal in. Je eet een al samengesteld menu, dus er wordt geen eten verspild. Ook doordat je van tevoren moet reserveren. Super aardige bediening met een leuke uitleg bij het eten. Verfijnde gerechten van een hele goede kok. Echt een aanrader!! Oh en de naam... ik vind het juist een hele goede naam, het klinkt laagdrempelig, zodat je niet bang bent dat je in een heel chique, over de top, restaurant terecht komt. En leuk dat het twents klinkt. Het eten was katz lekker en de mensen katz leuk! :-)

Heerlijk puur en vers gegeten met vriendelijke bediening. Gisteren hebben wij kennis gemaakt met Katz, echt genieten. Er is een menu dat je kunt aanvullen met een drank arrangement waarin ook heerlijke alcoholvrije drankjes zijn opgenomen. Een aanwinst voor Hengelo.

Katz Foodatelier is een wat onhandige naam voor een verfijnd restaurant waar je een hele avond enorm in de watten wordt gelegd en verrast met culinaire combinaties die stuk voor stuk heel origineel en buitengewoon lekker zijn. Een kaart is er niet, het is een kwestie van je laten verrassen, maar de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is heel goed en je hebt een topavond!

Een zeer gastvrije dame en fijne plek om te eten. We hebben het 8 gangen verrassings diner geprobeerd en dit is erg goed bevallen. Bij elke gang kregen we een bijpassend drankje. We hebben uitleg gekregen over elke gang wat we exact te eten kregen en de kok zelf komt zelfs een aantal keren langs om een sausje / extraatje toe te voegen.

Heerlijke combinatie van kleine en grote gerechten bereid met verse regionale producten. Echt een beleving. Informele sfeer.
