Kazoku in Oude Stad

The food, when it finally arrived, was excellent! Fresh and good quality, but unfortunately, it took over an hour and a half to be delivered.

I got takeout from this restaurant. The chef is a very kind person with creative cuisine. The sushi and maki were a bit out of the ordinary and delicious. Good value for money, I recommend it.

It’s not a sit down restaurant but for take away. I was biking in Haarlem and craving for poke bowl. It’s beyond my expectation, super fresh salmon, tuna, shrimp and the price is very reasonable as 14euro. It’s not far from the famous Windmill De Adriaan. Strongly recommend if you are in the area and looking for Sushi or poke bowl.

Literally the best sushi in the town Always fresh and so delicious

We ordered sushi here through Uber Eats. Although the sushi tasted reasonably fresh, it was bland and uninspired. We ordered different kinds, and strangely enough, everything tasted the same. It's not the cheapest sushi, which is partly why this was the only time we ordered from here.

Heavenly!! Had it delivered for Christmas, through their own website. The food was sooooo heavenly delicious. We had to wait an hour. The delivery driver was very friendly and on time. Kazoku, for the true connoisseur!

Disappointed tonight. I usually enjoy ordering from this restaurant. Tonight, I was treating myself to a delicious sushi dinner. I ordered at 5:30 and by 7:00 (when I really had to leave), still no sushi, and the restaurant was impossible to reach. I ended up eating a sandwich instead of sushi, which is a real shame. I'll have to find another sushi restaurant for now.

The variety of sushi available was impressive, offering a wide range of different types to choose from. The beef sushi, in particular, stood out—it was incredibly well-seasoned, with spices that elevated the flavor. The other sushi options were equally delicious. What made the experience even better was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Their welcoming attitude truly contributed to this experience. Very friendly people. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great sushi and excellent service! *it’s only for take away!

Best Salmon Nigiri in Haarlem. We order from Kazoku for more than 3 years now. The quality is a bit inconsistent but it’s still better than other places at their worst. Highly recommend!

Delicious sushi, delivered quickly. If you order directly through the website (not through delivery companies), you also get free spring rolls and sushi with certain amounts. :) I'll definitely order from them again!

The Sushi tastes like the Sushi I ate in Japan. Definitely the best sushi I ever had in Haarlem! I love that all the Sushi is different sizes so it doesn't feel factory made. For sure will order again soon!

Wine have been customers at Kazoku for a few years now and it's been great every time. We even think the sushi is the best in Haarlem for takeaway.

Confusing experience. Poke bowl ordered in a delivery at one hotel. Long waiting time and delivered to the wrong person. I called to get my orders and first reaction was to ask to check for security camera ? After a bit of argument they agreed to prepare again, and after another 30 min (2h in total), guy is finally there. No excuses. Okay, I will not go to bed without diner... Poké bowl is ok, nothing special indeed. First and last experience with this shop.

We ordered from Kazoku through Uber eats. After 50 minutes we called them, because we didn’t get any information in the UE app - they told us that it will be ready in 10 minutes and then hung up. Then we waited and after 1,5 hours from ordering they called us that they are here. It was a very young boy confused about the location. The food didn’t look great and it was pretty average. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from Uber eats.

We hebben via uber eats besteld. Echt zulk lekker eten voor een goed bedrag. Dit was echt even wat we nodig hadden. Echt serieus een aanrader!!

Vorige week heel erg genoten van jullie verse sushi en losse nigiris. Las op de site dat de Japanse chefkok ruim 20 jaar ervaring heeft en dat was te proeven. Verder echt top dat jullie ook in Noord bezorgen en hopelijk dat blijven doen. Mbt bezorging: Via hun eigen site besteld op zaterdagavond om 18.00 h (ETA was 19.45 h) het eten werd uiteindelijk zelfs eerder bezorgd (19:15 h) dan de verwachte bezorgtijd!

The best sushi I have eaten in Haarlem, I tried their food this week twice, the ingredients are fresh, the menu is different and creative compared to the same rolls you get in every sushi restaurant, even a Japanese person would be happy to try it. The only thing is that I ordered sake aburi nigiris and received regular ones instead, but as a person who works in a restaurant I’m sure we all make mistakes sometimes.

Sushi were good. Delivery was very late though. We will re-order from them because quality is good compared to other options in Haarlem within this price range.

Eten zelf was OK, niet geweldig goed, maar ook niet slecht. Wel erg lang moeten wachten (meer dan een uur).

Kazoku means family. A very nice true Japanese family run place. Very friendly and welcoming people. Delicious sushi for a fair price. Hope their business keeps going well despite the covid.

Sushi niet lekker, droge rijst en vis niet vers. Een compliment aan Kazoku voor hun inspanningen om de klacht op te lossen. Sushi is echter delicaat voedsel dat een goede hygiëne en versheid vereist. Als je eenmaal sushi hebt gehad die niet vers en goed bereid is, bestel je het niet snel opnieuw.

Beste sushi die we in tijden hebben gegeten! En ontzettend vriendelijke service.

This place is very new in Haarlem. I tried it once. Excellent value for money to say the least. Everything tastes very fresh and the prices are reasonable. Happy to have a good sushi takeout place near Haarlem Station.
