Kervansaray in Delfshaven

We went to dine in, looking at the google reviews. We were utterly disappointed. 1st service, the waiter was in a hurry and he didn't understand want we wanted. As we were new to Turkish cuisine, we asked him couple of questions, he just nodded for everything. I can understand he doesn't speak good English, but it felt like he didn't know about the menu. Then he directed his superior to us, but he was rude and felt like he was rushing us to order something. Also we got something different than what we ordered. 2ndly about food, we ordered a mixed kip grill, but we got a mixed grill. To be honest, the meat smelled a bit burned. Overall we didn't have a good feeling. It's our opinion of course, maybe you might feel different if u speak Dutch or Turkish.

Busy place. Food was good and served quickly (despite being busy). For a starter, main course and drinks for 2p. we paid about €40. You can easily park on the street and it is still affordable (compared to the center of Rdam).

If you want to eat really good food, this is the place to be, not to mention affordable. Besides the menu, they always have 3 types of daily menus

I recently had breakfast at Restaurant Kervansaray, and it was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked pastries, perfectly prepared eggs and tasty side dishes. The tea was aromatic and fresh. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service friendly and quick, making it the perfect start to the day. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes a good and extensive breakfast! Thank you Serkan for the top service!!

We ate a mix kebap and a chicken thigh dish, as well as the super tasty beyti kebap. Has been a restaurant for years that continues to attract people because the food is very tasty. When you enter you will be helped by Mr Mohammed. Super helpful and friendly... you always get Turkish tea and baklava from the company after dinner 🙊 So a big ten!

we didn't order something, they bring extra, then I said I didn't order these eggs, but they said you didn't order, so ridiculous, I would never go there again. paid 90 euros for 2 adults and 2 children

Nice restaurant, clean toilets & the food was super tasty. Service was also very good & hygienic. Definitely worth repeating. We ordered lentil soup, chicken fillet dish, mezze's & sackavurma. The only thing we didn't like was the mezze's ezme and rus salatasi. The rest was great!

Confident in the quality and taste of the shop, which I had visited twice before, I wanted to travel 50km yesterday and visit it with my family, but unfortunately when I arrived, it was written on the door of the shop that it was closed (15 Jul-18 Aug). I wish you had indicated on Google Map that you were closed. Who knows how many customers have experienced the same unfortunate situation!

In more detail: When we entered we took a seat and were immediately helped. What I have a negative point about is that the menu has to be read via a QR code. What if the customer's phone is empty? So no menu then? I think staff could be a little more informed and would also like to laugh a little more. It's not a big deal, but just tell me this, the staff does need some more information about the food, the brother with glasses came to help us, knew about food and knew exactly what was tasty. Salad was brought, then the food a little later. I must say that it was really a lot, but I think that the quality is better, which compensates for the service within the business. Well then the food, I had chicken thighs that were very tasty roasted, dry meat fried in such a way that it becomes juicy in taste means making art with the food. I would definitely recommend Kervansaray, definitely worth repeating. I would like to give one small plus point, after the food has been delivered, walk by the customer to see if everything is to your liking, at least someone from the staff.

The salad with the white cheese on top was so good, definitely order one for the middle along with your meal. The staff was very kind and helpful too!

So I was simply refused because I only wanted to order a chicken breast sandwich. Apparently the gentleman didn't think it was worth serving me as a customer because he could only earn 6.50 from me. A bit sad.

Ailece gittiğimiz bir yer. Gönül rahatlığı ile lezzetli yemeklerden yiyebilirsiniz. Saç kavurma çok güzeldi.

Het eten is zeer goed Echter word ik als nederlander vaak als laatste geholpen ook al sta ik eerder in de rij . Ze negeren je gewoon. Eigenaar zelf is een heel aardige man die merkt dat dan ook op en geeft aan dat ze je moeten helpen en bied meteen thee oid aan . Maar het personeel ben ik niet over te spreken Eten is goed Sfeer en service is slecht! Het is dan ook een reden waardoor ik hier niet meer kom. Ik ken kervansaray nog van vroeger toen ze een klein zaakje verserop hadden. Daar was de sfeer en service goed Nu een groot pand (das mooi) Maar klein is fijn Vroeger was t er gewoon beter

Ja, inderdaad! Ik kan me nog heugen. Het kwam me goed uit,toeval bestaat niet. Het was geschreven, dat ik daar moest zijn. Die dag was gezegend! Jumma'ah De sfeer de service was op z'n plaats, en kwam goed uit. Voor het Vrijdag Gebed Insha Allah! Zelf kom ik uit Hoogvliet Rotterdam. Shukran Jazeelan!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal, aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal hier. Superfreundliches Personal, hervorragende Betreuung und Beratung durch den Besitzer, und das wichtigste, sehr gutes Essen. Vorsicht, es wird kein Alkohol angeboten, aber wir verstehen das, nach der Erklärung des Besitzers. Wirklich empfehlenswert. Wie gesagt, wir gehen sicher wieder hin.

Ik kom hier wanneer ik de kans heb. De kwaliteit van het eten is erg hoog. De prijzen zijn zeer beschaafd. Gecombineerd met de goede service, snap je waarom het altijd vol zit.

Heerlijk ontbijt en de kleine gerechten waren goed. Brood was vers! Kom er graag terug!
