Mezze in Kralingen-Crooswijk

We zaten hier op zondagavond als enige gasten te eten.Het personeel bekeek ons de hele tijd enorm vies aan. Nog nooit hebben we ons zo ongemakkelijk gevoeld in een restaurant. We vroegen ons de hele tijd af of we wat fout hadden gedaan. Eten was dan weer niets op aan te merken. Jammer van de onvriendelijkheid.

Both their taste and service quality are superb. Anyone who is homesick should definitely visit. You feel at home thanks to sister Yeter's smiling face and the delicious taste of her hands. You should go there just to taste Yeter sister's appetizers. A wonderful person❤️

We have been coming here for years and really enjoy the food and service. Delicious dishes and affordable. Owner Mrs. Yeter is a super sweet woman and always friendly. We often order via home delivery and the food arrives very quickly and nice and hot. Top restaurant!!!

An incredible experience in this Turkish restaurant! Not only were the dishes delicious and tasty, but the welcome was beyond our expectations. The staff are exceptionally kind, they looked after our 11 month old son while we ate, playing with him and making sure we had a good time. It’s a warm place, perfect for a family outing. I highly recommend!

A working lady looks at him strangely, she is a nervous type. She is a mature age person who always seems to say eat your food and go as soon as possible.

It was cramped but food was tasty

Our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. Everything seemed fine initially, but when we asked for more bread, we had to ask three times before it finally arrived. Just before eight o'clock, we were asked to leave in half an hour, as the table was supposedly reserved, even though we were told over the phone when we made the reservation that we could stay as long as we wanted. At 8:30 pm, we were told to leave, despite still having full drinks. When we pointed this out, the waitress was rude and indirectly ushered us out. Such treatment of guests is unacceptable. We expected more and will dine elsewhere in the future.

The best quality-price relation I’ve found in Rotterdam so far. Surely recommend the mixed grilled to share: nicely seasoned grilled meat with proper dressing, plus a tasty salad and perfect tzatziki.

Perfecto. Mi marido y yo nos quedamos boquiabiertos. Este es un restaurante familiar que tararea perfectamente. Era fácil reservar en línea. El ambiente es encantador - calle tranquila, sobre todo asientos al aire libre y las mesas estaban perfectamente espaciadas. El servicio fue de primera categoría - amable e informativo. Me encanta cuando el servidor pregunta si estás listo para que te quiten las placas en lugar de simplemente agarrarlas y abalanzarte. No hubo presión para irse. La comida era deliciosa - una mezcla perfecta de especias y sabores. Empezamos con un hummus y una casa increíble - hecho pita - como el pan (en la casa! ). Luego tuvimos un delicioso dos veces - berenjena al horno / aperitivo de melanzano. Para las entradas, pedí atún, ligeramente sazonado y colocado encima de una salsa ligeramente dulce, y mi esposo pidió un plato de camarones que dijo que también era delicioso. Finalmente (porque no pudimos parar) , terminamos con un kunefe inusual pero deliciosa - un desierto de masa filo dulce / salado maridado con helado. Finalmente - el precio era la mitad de lo que esperábamos. Si no viviéramos a miles de kilómetros de distancia en EE.UU. . .

We have been visiting this beautiful place for years with great pleasure; the staff recognizes and remembers us. And the marinated grilled chicken is amazing!

Food was good, it is such a shame that it arrived so late. We waited more than ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES for our main dishes, totally unacceptable. And there were very few customers, I can't imagine on a busy day. Try this place only if you have all the evening to waste.

We liked it very much. My husband and I sat in front of it without planning. But the food was very nice. The mixed grill for two was quite filling. We ordered the rest as a package and our dogs loved the food too 😀 I will come again to try the kunefe. Thanks🫶

Very good Turkish restaurant, can recommend the Adena and Iskender Kebab, kebab is traditionally prepared over a charcoal grill. Large portions at fair prices (main courses around 15-20 euros)

Ik bezoek het restaurant vaker op zaterdagen voor live muziek. Na een aantal keer heb ik ontdekt dat daar kosten in rekening worden gebracht die niet gemaakt zijn. Bijvoorbeeld van drankjes die je niet hebt gedronken. Ik vroeg bijvoorbeeld om een Cola light en kreeg daarvoor in plaats een Pepsi. Ik gaf aan dat ik vroeg om cola light. Die hadden ze niet werd toen verteld en de ober nam het drankje weer mee. Bij het afrekening stond de Cola light toch op de rekening. Ik heb soortgelijke verhalen vaker gehoord van vrienden maar nu heb ik het zelf meegemaakt. Het eten is lekker en het muziek is leuk, maar houd rekening meted factuur die gepresenteer wordt.

We ordered some mezzes and received some on the house, super thoughtful! They were all very tasty. The main courses and kunefe were also delicious. We sat outside in the sun, but the interior is a bit less cozy, hence the 4 stars for atmosphere. But overall we felt like we were back in Turkey. In short, this restaurant is highly recommended by anyone who loves Turkish food!

Don't eat here with two women because then everything will go wrong. Had several experiences here that I will not forget, and I don't mean that in a positive way. There are always different people working in the ministry (usually women) who have in common that they are unfriendly, uninterested and ignorant. We (two women) had made a reservation but were given a very small table, near the door, practically outside. We kindly asked for another table but we didn't get one. The better table went to a man and a woman who had not made a reservation, while we had been there before. The food took a long time and the drink selection was very limited. They only have quite unappetizing Turkish drinks. And you can expect to be thirsty, because the food is quite salty. The bitter part comes afterwards: make sure they don't charge too much and that you get a receipt. I had previously eaten here with another friend. I then asked for prosecco. Apparently that's not on the menu as standard, but I still got a glass of prosecco. Then they didn't count on just one glass, but a whole bottle! With great difficulty I got my money back. I also ate here a few times with my husband, when they were a little friendlier, but even then the bill was incorrect. You shouldn't come here for the atmosphere anyway, 'the restaurant' is a glorified snack bar or canteen. Small and way too busy. Making money is what it's all about here and not about good food or fun.

We ordered the Mezze special, which was absolutely delicious. Although the kitchen's busyness led to a 30-minute wait, it was worth it. The staff was kind and attentive. One note: the proximity of the kitchen to the dining area, despite good ventilation, does allow some grill smoke to permeate the air.

Aksini iddia eden yemekten anlamıyordur. Hollanda sınırları içerisinde yenilebilecek en güzel kebaplar burada. Rakı seçeneklerinde beylerbeyi göbek var daha ne olsun. Bir de üstüne bazı akşamlar fasıl olsa tadından yenmezdi. Kendimizi ülkede hissetiğimiz sıcak ortam.

Just delicious. We have ordered a set of cold and hot apetizers and set of different kinds of grilled meet. Everything was very very tasty and full of very good quality ingredients. We were extremely satisfied.

Super leuke, hardwerkende familie met een enorme samenwerking. What attracted me of this restaurant was the delicious smell of food . i payed 45 euros for a meat menu, for two people . I expected traditional dishes instead we received a plate with various type of meat , rice and side dishes: fries and a very good salad . the meat in general wasn't lived up to the price I paid for the dish: the lamb was chewy and the kofta dry, kichen was good , the beef sandy and dry. So it was expensive for the quality.. perfect service and enviroment . I suggest more attention to the food !!!

While in Rotterdam, I ordered the chicken shish meal deal with rice and coke zero via the Thuisbezorgd Android app (known as JustEat in some markets). Both the chicken and the rice were seasoned well and cooked to perfection, in my view. I liked the bread and the zesty salad that came with the meal deal. More importantly, the flavours and the quality of the food from Mezze in Rotterdam was very similar to how I remembered the food during previous stays in Turkey. I would definitely buy food from Mezze Rotterdam again.
