KFC in Wijk 50 Bedrijventerreinen

You know perfectly well that you shouldn't expect a culinary masterpiece when you go to KFC; having said that, my order is always complete, ready quickly, and tasty! This is the best KFC I go to (from the US to the Czech Republic).

The drive is primarily based on speed

This one was closed, gates shut, no other reason to be found why it was closed at 6:30 PM. Seems like renovations.

It says that the drive-in is open during the renovation, but that is NOT TRUE!!!

You pay a lot of money for a tiny bit of chicken... it was inedible.

The chicken was cold and not fresh at all. The buns were rock hard, just not normal, like bricks. For that price, you expect decent food, but this was simply inedible. And the place itself? Dirty tables, filthy floor, and a disgusting toilet. Everything was dirty and unkempt. The service only made it worse. Paid a lot of money for poor quality and a dirty place. This really makes no sense. KFC, do something about this. No more KFC for me for the time being.

The boycott worked. Now they are introducing halal food to attract more customers. Ridiculous. That is why we are boycotting, thanks to the US.

We normally go to the KFC in Capelle aan den IJssel. There, regardless of how busy it is or the size, your order is usually ready within a few minutes. Unfortunately, at this branch in Barendrecht, it is the same story every time. We have been here several times, both to eat in and to get takeout, and every time it takes an incredibly long time. This time, we waited a whopping hour and a half for just one bucket of Hot Wings. There were plenty of staff present, but it seemed completely disorganized. In the meantime, we had placed an order for no less than seven complete meals at the McDonald’s across the street. That was ready sooner, and even after we had already eaten that, our order at KFC was still not ready. This is without a doubt the worst KFC I have ever visited. I have been to more than a hundred different KFC branches in the Netherlands and abroad, but I have never experienced anything as bad as here. It seems like no one has been properly trained. You really wonder if the owner or manager ever comes to check things out here, because this is anything but normal.

Worst KFC location in the Netherlands.. If I were the owner, I would have replaced the entire staff there.. No ice cubes with your soda in the summer with 30+ degrees is a really big problem.. I went there specifically for that cold soda and no ice cubes is a huge disappointment.. I paid for cheese with my burger and got no cheese.. No salt packets even though I clearly requested them, sauces forgotten even though I clearly requested them.. In other words, go somewhere else, eat out of the trash can.. It doesn't matter at all.. Don't eat here!

Just ordered veggie chicken tenders, but when I got home they weren't veggie. The fries were saltless and soggy. Pistachio milkshake totally tasteless. Just a green vanilla. Really, for that price: worthless.

Fried potato pieces flew past the counter into the restaurant towards the entrance while several customers were standing and the people frying were throwing food at each other. In short, really dangerous and unacceptable, it seems to me... Time: around 7:30 p.m., August 1st last

Yeah, a KFC is a KFC. I have to say the service is good. Sem definitely gets 4 stars; he's very nice and always asks if you need anything else. The man deserves a promotion, by the way. Otherwise, the chicken is good and ready reasonably quickly, faster than I'm used to from KFC.

This is THE KFC to go to, from exceptional service to delicious food.

If you go here specifically for a milkshake and the price is quite reasonable for it, there is also a packaging disposal fee on top of that, and in our opinion, the cup was not sufficiently filled, barely 3/4 full. Just an honest addition/comment.

I've eaten here 3 times in the last 2 months. The first time was fine, the 2nd time my stomach was terribly upset; that can happen. I ate here yesterday and subsequently got severe food poisoning. I felt so miserable, I'm done with this mess!

The food was lukewarm and the taste was disappointing as well; when you consider the price, the quality is very substandard.

Worst KFC location. Apparently, here it is the case that if the restaurant closes at 11:30 PM, they close the gate at 11:00 PM, so you come for nothing. It must be because they can't keep track of time properly; some people seem to have trouble with that quite often—though you do need to be able to read a clock in the first place, of course. They probably start later than usual and finish earlier than they indicate. A peculiar culture not to put revenue at the top of the priorities. If you ask the staff why you aren't allowed in before closing time, they say that they are the boss. No doubt about it, of course, but if this is 'the boss,' then I am curious about the future of KFC. I would give this branch a good clean sweep.

Very slow service !!! The staff seem to have forgotten they are working .... Had to wait 15 minutes for my order. Only to get cold fries on top of that .... Naturally, I went to exchange it! Friendliness 0!!! It is time for a food inspection at this pathetic place!

Quite pricey; you go there for a bit of extra service like a refill of your soft drink. Unfortunately, that machine has been removed from here too. How much does that actually cost extra? It doesn't make you any more special than the rest of the chains... a shame.

Had a delicious meal at KFC Barendrecht! The food was fresh, nice and hot, and served quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean. Definitely recommended, I would love to come back again!

Ordered a wrap but there was hardly any meat, just 3 small pieces 😏 I chose table service, but I still had to walk to the counter. I heard my number being called, and the young man looked at me alone. Hopefully another branch does better.

I ordered a box meal and felt scammed. 15€ for 2 chicken wings, some fake Pepsi, burger that looks like a kids version 1€ slop with barely anything apart from 2 ridiculous buns and the chicken, half of a corn and medium fries that honestly feel like small sized. I haven’t been in a long time, but feels like they have been doing some cutting in expenses in terms of how much they are giving you for the same or more money. What I ate was luckily worth 5€ plus it being prepared by teenagers on minimum wage who are clearly understaffed. If I’m going to eat this garbage once in a while at least make it worth the money. I used to enjoy KFC but now it turned into corporate slop like many other fast food chains, they just care about profit.

Scandalously bad for the price you pay. Just drove through the drive-thru because the kids really wanted to eat KFC. At the entrance to the drive-thru, there is a billboard: Crispy Tenders 10 pieces, special offer €8.00. Placed order, paid (blindly, yes, stupid of me), and saw at the second window that I had paid almost €53. This was for 2 x 10 Crispy Tenders, a wrap, 2 milkshakes, 2 small fries, and a corn on the cob. Calculating 2 x 8 = 16, so the remainder would be €37, I thought this isn't right. At the second window, I asked for the receipt anyway; it turned out that instead of €8.00, €12.99 had been charged for a bucket, because I hadn't indicated when ordering that I wanted the special offer (yeah duh... whether you want the same thing for €8 or €13). Resolved very properly by the employee and refunded the difference. At home, the disappointment was even greater; the wrap was practically empty, the sauces for the crispy tenders were missing, and the fries were soggy and undercooked. Definitely the last time.

The food is simply good, only the staff isn't that great, and the value menus or those with coupons are misleading because they clearly give you less food.

The Variety and Zinger burgers were way too hot; it was hard to read on the signs how hot they were. The ingredients were poorly labeled, and they didn't even ask which sauce you wanted with it—terrible.

The food was good. The restaurant was very tidy. We ate first and then had a delicious milkshake. The milkshake was nice and cold and looked good. And the staff was friendly. The price was also fine. We are satisfied and will definitely come back more often. I recommend it.

The worst KFC ever. Waiting more than half an hour for food, only to ask where it was. Our order was simply "forgotten". In the end, the food wasn't even warm anymore.

When compared to past it is getting worse and worse. Most probably I will never choose KFC again after today's experience particularly in Barendrecht. We had three menus, zinger, original and twister, the chicken was cold and smelling bad, and bread was terribly dry and old, the corn was blue and disgusting, I asked the staff to change it and they gave another rotten one. I counted 6 people working! behind the counter lazily, and our shoes were sticking to floor because of dirt. As a result, everything was dirty and rotten.. Never again...

The menu has gotten worse over the past few years.. You get less for more money. Variety bucket used to be a good deal.. Now it Sucks.. 😭

Had to wait a long time for the food, once I started eating it wasn't warm for a long time or anything like that and the lettuce had all colors except green, which I'm used to. The lettuce was so tough, it was better to just throw fresh lettuce on it instead of shoelaces. Come on KFC.

The staff was incredibly slow. We had to wait a very long time for our food, even though the restaurant and drive-thru were completely empty. There were staff in the kitchen. The cards normally used for table service had been removed. The upstairs was blocked off with bar stools for no apparent reason, making the restrooms inaccessible. Trash cans were overflowing, trash was strewn across the floor, and there were stacks of trays in the wrong places because the right ones were already completely full. The food was nice and hot and tasted great.

Bad experience at KFC Barendrecht. I ordered cash at the counter and clearly requested the same menu twice, but I received two different ones. While I explained this, the counter staff gave me annoying, angry looks. The atmosphere was not friendly at all, and the fries were dry. This isn't the first time I've experienced poor service at this location—I'm really fed up with it, and that's why I'm posting this review.

The receipt for a purchase stated that you get 3 free hot wings with every purchase. We were directed to a website that didn't even work, and then someone else's hot wings were grabbed by hand and simply put in a dirty container. It was in front of us, so we couldn't see it. I had to call to get my hot wings. No more KFC Barendrecht...

Well. What you're buying looks nothing like the image on the display. Poor and a meager selection...not recommended. A huge difference from a few years ago...price-quality and presentation are terrible.
