What a slow place, you mean! It's a shame you're not allowed to sit upstairs! There was no other room. Not enough staff. The food was cold and half-warm. It's a disgrace that you let elderly people stand. The sparrows are practically falling off the roof here! We're not coming back!

After 25 minutes of waiting I asked whether something went wrong since I saw people who ordered after me with the same items leave with their food. Then it was there within a few minutes, no apology or anything. There were some friendly people behind the counter, but most of them can be more friendly to customers.

We were a large group of 30 people and they served us very quickly. The food was fresh. We would visit again

Great Place. It was clean when I got there, and after I ordered, my food came within minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to check out the atmosphere in its whole because I rushed through my food (which by the way, tasted great like usual), and by the way... They give you a LOT of tissues.

Last Saturday, November 29, 2025, after waiting in line for a while, we finally placed our order at 6:08 PM. It was at the KFC in Lelystad, next to the A6 highway. We went to the counter in high spirits. It was very busy and the wait was endless. Our initial thought was that because we had a large order, it would take a little longer, but after half an hour, we asked why it was taking so long. The explanation was that the fillet steak for the burgers was gone and we'd just have to wait a little longer. Our irritation level was already rising. After a good 50 minutes, we finally got our food. I don't call this fast food, but rather slow food. The impression was that there was no management; everyone was just doing their own thing and didn't seem to care about the customers. The place was also a complete mess; the woman who was apparently in charge of cleaning was walking around in circles, but no cleaning whatsoever. I wiped down the table myself, threw away the previous customer's trash, and let's not even mention the restrooms. All in all, quite dissatisfied with the KFC in Lelystad. We'll skip it next time.

Couldn't order a milkshake or Sunday, disappointing, but whatever. Couldn't order loaded fries. More disappointment. But then I had to wait over 50 minutes for my order to be ready, and it wasn't until after I started asking them about it that it occurred to them to look back through unfulfilled orders. (I was order 457 on the board) And now that I finally have my food, my fries are not salted. ETA: I had ordered a wrap with extra cheese, double checked with the guy rushing to prepare my food if it was extra cheese, he said yes. It had bacon instead of cheese 😡 The flavour of which makes my physically ill, so for me that's not a minor inconvenience 🤢

"Very bad," there's no other way to put it. The quality of the food has really deteriorated dramatically over the years. I happened to go again today, and the rolls were hard/old, as if they'd been sitting there all day and reheated. And even with a large order, they always forget something and usually prepare the drinks first, so if you order a milkshake, it's half melted before the rest is ready (I think they should do that last). What I also don't understand is why the rolls (no matter what kind) are always lukewarm? I happen to be from Lelystad myself, and I still go there occasionally, against my better judgment, hoping it's improved, but unfortunately, after all these years, it's still not a shame, because when it's prepared properly, it's delicious. I'm still holding out hope, maybe someone will pick it up and make something of it (oh, and a cloth over the tables would be nice; it would look better and be more hygienic). Best, Dani.

Solid highway stop when traveling on the A6. Clean location, fast service, and the food was fresh - which isn't always a given at roadside fast food spots. Staff was friendly and efficient even during lunch rush. Pro tip: if you're heading north, this is your last convenient KFC before a long stretch, so stock up if you're craving it. The parking lot is way less chaotic than most highway food stops, which is a win. Does exactly what you need it to do when you're hungry on the road.

Got a kids' burger. The bun was hard and dry, as if it had been microwaved too long. Terrible. How can you sell something like that to people?

A nightmare of a place. You place your order and have to wait an hour and a half for it. Then your order is incomplete, and they have to make half of it, which you have to wait for, and the fries are already cold. The tables are dirty and the trash cans are overflowing. The alarm upstairs also goes off, making it impossible to eat in peace. Never come here again.

I had ordered 3 menus which could not be done in the system so I also received something different than what I had ordered.

Ordered inside. The staff was disinterested. When I received my order, I didn't even say "please" or "enjoy your meal." None of the tables were clean, while one staff member stood behind the counter staring into space. There was no "goodbye" when I left. I didn't feel welcome. What a cold place. I understand why it's always so quiet there.

They barely speak Dutch these days. Food sits on the counter for 10 minutes to get cold. Then you get cold food if you understand when they call your number.

Went there yesterday with two friends, what a disgrace! The ordering kiosks are smarter than the person working the cash register. The burgers looked so awful that even the Double Whammy burger from the movie Falling Down looks appetizing. If I may give BK a tip, put someone behind the counter who can speak proper Dutch.

Worst KFC in the Netherlands. They can't speak Dutch. We also waited 30 minutes for our food. Then we got a cold order, and they got angry with us. We finally got everything re-ordered, and we still had to go back twice because the order was wrong.

It's incredibly poorly organized. Nine times out of ten, I get the wrong order, and it's always tasteless. I feel ripped off every time I go there.

Unfortunately, our food was way too salty, and the cheese sauce on the burger tasted like nothing. We were very disappointed with the food. The parking is great. The store itself is a bit dark and quite dirty (from spiders sliding down the posters). The products and quantities offered are great; you can get many items individually or in mini-sized packages.

They always forget something about your order

Fewer bucket combinations to choose from. When I was told no receipt was printed at the order screen, nothing was done except "Do you remember the number?" The atmosphere in a fast-food restaurant is never special, but thankfully it was quiet.

(Every time) Long wait times, incomplete orders, lots of junk, and unfriendly staff. Adding something to your order at the window before paying again isn't possible... otherwise, the chicken is delicious.

I'd like to express my dissatisfaction with the hygiene in your establishment. It was absolutely not clean. Despite sufficient staff, the tables and floor were covered in food scraps. This left a very unpleasant impression.

An incredibly filthy mess. The floor was sticky, and all the outdoor tables were dirty. Paper, napkins, cigarette butts were all over the floor. Even the toilet was filthy. I thought I'd just wipe the tables, but the staff seemed oblivious to anything that wasn't directly related to the chicken. A remarkably dirty KFC.

We ate here last night, it was absolutely disgusting. It was so old and burnt, I've never experienced it at a KFC before. We'll never go back. €25 went straight in the trash! So no food then. Brrrrrrr that this is even allowed to be sold. P.S. It was taken away so I didn't go back. Also, be careful about returning cups that cost €1, you just get a cardboard cup instead.

The food was delicious, but the order was wrong. When I pointed this out to the counter clerk, he looked a bit confused and stood there staring at a screen with another empty container while the rest of my food got cold. The numbers he was supposed to announce (when an order was ready) were also wrong. It was a case of the light being on, but no one was home. The downstairs area is cramped, and there's hardly a (pleasant) patio. If I were to go to this location along the highway in Lelystad, I'd sooner choose McDonald's, which is right next door.

We ate at the KFC this time, because takeout usually gets it wrong regarding what you order and what you get. It was a complete disaster this time (sigh). The milkshake was delicious, though.

Really bad, rude staff, big mouths, and honestly make you wait 15-20 minutes for just a Singerburger menu! And when you ask how long it will take, they disrespectfully say 2-3 minutes. And then you stand there for another 10 minutes... Worst service and drive ever!!!!!

This is honestly the worst KFC I've ever been to. I ordered a meal deal for one person, and a friend ordered two large fries. Two separate orders. There were a few people waiting ahead of us, which I understand, but after half an hour, I still hadn't received my order. They were already 20 orders ahead of me. I then asked an employee where my order was, and she said it was already gone, but it hadn't gone at all. Then I discovered that four other people hadn't received their orders either, and they were also 20 orders ahead of me. They finally started making all the orders, but it took 10 minutes per order. When I received my order, I discovered that my burgers were made incorrectly. This was truly outrageous.

Superslecht personeel. Loopt daar maar wat rond te lopen met kauwgom in de mond. Ook totaal geen interesse voor de klanten en er kan geen alstublieft vanaf. Loopt personeel rond die geen Nederlands spreekt. Ook waren er veel dingen niet beschikbaar. Nooit meer dat ik hierheen ga.

Crowded, and worked at a corner of a junkfood parking lot. It's busy because it's near a hotel. Personel is adequate and no nonsense but in a professional way. Wouldn't say the dining part is clean. But kitchen seems OK.

Awful. If you're a family, never use the drive through. There will always be 1+ item missing. You'd almost think it is their policy.

I put one because I can't put 0. After I was waiting for 25 min in the queu to order, they didn't have almost nothing to offer. I could only order specific things so I order 2 burgers. They only gave me one because they didn't hear it good and they couldn't change my order. Terrible service, I won't go again.

KFC in Lelystad has the best KFC chicken for sure , the service in peak hours very slow , otherwise it's a good fast food restaurant

Dirty and the staff wasn't able to serve quickly although at least 10 of them visible. The cleaning lady outside ordered smoking than cleaning. A lot of rubbish lying around everywhere....

Bad service, unfriendly and dirty

Always antisocial staff at KFC or the drive-thru in Lelystad. Tried again today, and immediately upon ordering, they said: "What do you want?" No hello, no sign of politeness whatsoever. They spoke softly, barely audible. When we asked for something, she immediately became indifferent. Then she started mumbling again. Exactly the same thing when paying. Card or cash. Still no greeting or normal interaction. It's the same every time. No customer service, no respect. We're done with it. You don't feel welcome at all. We'll go to the neighbor's.

Undercooked chicken isn't fun, but the disinterested staff was truly bizarre. I've never seen such a group of people who completely ignored their customers. While we were there, three customers left because they were completely fed up. Unfortunately, we had already paid and stayed for the sake of our grandchildren, but there won't be a next time for us.

Staff don't speak proper Dutch and get angry if you don't understand. I bought a menu, but it tasted very undercooked, and I also gave the wrong drinks.
