KFC in Buitengebied

I was originally going to get a crispy tenders bucket, but then I found out they don't include any dip sauces, not even ketchup. Are you expected to just eat them dry? So I decided to just get a 4 pack of tenders instead, and they only gave me 3. It was takeaway, so I couldn't get it fixed, are people seriously expected to count their tenders before leaving the restaurant to make sure they are getting what they paid for?

Check your order!! 9 out of 10 times it is incorrect. Something is always missing.

Worst KFC in the Netherlands, I order a burger without sauce for my kids, they don't get it, I empty it out with just cheese please, only when I get home do I open the kids' box and I literally see bread and cheese without chicken, is this a joke? Hot wings extremely old and dried out, staff doesn't speak Dutch. OMG that place is a joke.

On a Wednesday around 7:00 PM, I had to wait a whopping 45 minutes for my food. It was only a 3-person order. My order was not served in full, after which I had to go back to the counter. The food was served lukewarm, though it tasted good. The restaurant was a mess: tables with food scraps on them everywhere, including on the floor. When I wanted to throw away my leftovers, I couldn't even do so: the trash can was overflowing. It is clearly not entirely the staff's fault: they were working hard, but there are simply far too few people to process all these orders. I had indicated via self-service that I wanted to eat my food in the restaurant, but I still received everything in bags on the tray. So; never again this KFC in Lelystad for us.

I have experienced many bad KFCs in the Netherlands, but I really do think this is the worst KFC you can go to. Everything is dirty, the staff doesn't make eye contact and speaks almost no Dutch. Then you wait 45 minutes for your order and it isn't tasty anymore.

Bad food! Absolutely no service! What a disappointment.

This KFC is extremely disappointing. Exceptionally bad due to slow staff. An order was prepared but was not picked up. It sat on the counter for over an hour. Receipts were lying everywhere; it seemed there was absolutely no overview. Where was the manager for a pep talk or a kick in the butt? Suddenly, acquaintances of the person behind the counter appeared. This order was taken care of immediately. Our food was half cold. The place was not clean. Trash cans were overflowing. Never again here.

Fast food takes on a whole new meaning here!! The employees move at a speed that would make any tortoise blanch. When you finally get your food after about 15-20 minutes, it's already cold. Oh, and usually not what you ordered. Since the employees' habitat is exclusively behind the counter, they wisely foresee no table numbers at the ordering terminals, and the entire restaurant is correspondingly unclean. In a word: a disaster.

Ordering went nice and fast, but after that, it took a very long time for the food to be ready. The staff didn't seem very enthusiastic. Someone wanted to report a wrong hamburger, and that was done with great difficulty. I think there is a staff shortage, because the trash cans were overflowing. And there was a lot of trash on the floor.

I went to KFC with my brother to have a nice meal, but we couldn't sit at a table because all the tables were so dirty I almost threw up. Then we went to order from the menu, and that menu wasn't good either; the chicken was really bad, they were all cold, and the fries were really cold too. And the people working there are so angry at customers and they talk about the customers. Really the worst service ever. And it was ridiculously expensive.

More than half an hour for 2 ice creams when the restaurant is almost empty... Come on. And everyone is walking around with a long face against their will too.

The food is good, but some of my chicken wings had hair in them—three without and three with. I don't recommend this KFC.

Looks like a KFC somewhere in the middle east, food was fine but the staff barely spoke dutch. They were speaking arabic while sitting and doing nothing usefull behind the counter. The table number things were al missing from the order booths, perhaps the staff is too lazy to bring the food to the tables? Either way atmosphere and service was bad enough to ensure that I'm not going back here.

If you like gambling, you definitely have to go here Since there is a 70% chance that you will have to wait a long time even if your order is already ready and there is a 65% chance that they got your order wrong

Very busy, malfunctioning ordering units, and staff who just ignore you when you stand at the counter. Atmosphere? Well, just a fast food atmosphere. Clean, though.

Worthless, staff working haphazardly or standing around doing nothing, they set out part of the food and the rest arrives half an hour later, waited well over 40 minutes, Slow food place!!

Unfortunately, I had to wait longer than half an hour for 2 medium milkshakes. It is complete chaos in the kitchen and they cannot handle the number of customers. The staff is extremely nonchalant.

The service here is always terrible. Incredibly slow with the order. Time after time. We only came here because they had a play area and the McDonald's next door didn't. Unfortunately, they removed it, so for us, there is no reason to come here anymore.

Got a cold kapsalon. Went back and got the same one again under the pretext: it's warm now. In the end, number three was warm. A hassle.

Waited a long time for our order. Over 30 minutes. I have never had anything this bad at KFC. The food was cold. Brought it back. Lukewarm food again. Service was worthless. Young man in a tracksuit and cap, huge hair. Really unhygienic. 🤢 In the end, just left the food. What a disappointment.

Terribly slow! Had to wait more than an hour

We got 4x “coconut” milkshakes but none of us could taste the coconut at all it just tasted like vanilla milkshakes. We didn’t get our sauce we paid for and only got 3 straws. We went in again to correct our order. We got the sauce we ordered, but not more coconut in the milkshakes or new ones or anything to say sorry for their mistake. Sadly bad service where it could have been easy to correct.

It takes a really long time to prepare a simple menu, Jesus.

We had to wait well over 30 minutes before we received our food, and then we got our lukewarm food because it had been sitting there for over 20 minutes, but it was incomplete because we were missing the chicken salad, and our food was getting cold and was eventually very limp and soggy. Furthermore, we were given the wrong food, and a Coke had fallen on the floor in the restaurant with all the contents lying on the ground like that, and it wasn't cleaned up immediately while no staff did anything.

The self-ordering kiosk wasn't working properly last Friday, July 3rd. I asked for an adjustment immediately after placing my order. The completely unintelligible employee said he was going to get 'the guy'. Apparently, that meant the manager was coming. He was even less interested in us and just considered it our problem. Her tone is customer-unfriendly and semi-aggressive; she barely makes eye contact and stands around bored, rummaging through a display case during the 'conversation'. Now I understood why the rest of the staff didn't give a damn... Anyway, she couldn't do anything but did indicate that the self-ordering kiosks are designed to rip people off, and if you order via the kiosk, it's simply your own problem. There was no one in the entire store willing to help you pay the regular bill, and there were signs everywhere forcing you to use the self-ordering kiosk. Meanwhile, the sauce ordered at the kiosk was out of stock; I had to ask three times what the employee was actually saying because it was impossible to understand, and we were given a different sauce. During our 'little chat,' other people also came to complain because you pay for a reusable cup at the ordering kiosk but in practice, you don't receive one at all. It was also down to the payment kiosk; grumbling, those people got their money back for the cups. Using the toilet? Just go under the barrier tape; the standard solution here to prevent people from using the tables upstairs. Not exactly customer-friendly either, of course.

Food gets a 3 because coleslaw is no longer sold, the corn doesn't taste like it used to, and there's no butter with it anymore. It's a good thing the chicken is still decent, but buying regularly is becoming less and less for us.

The food is cold and dripping with grease. It's dirty, and the upstairs is closed. The wait for food is so long that you can eat out and come back and still be waiting. They should replace the people who work there. It's a disaster.

Unfortunately, a very bad experience. We were served between 17:30 and 17:40 by an employee who spoke unintelligibly and came across as very unfriendly. While taking our order, she was mainly talking to colleagues, making it unclear whether she was speaking to us or to them. This made ordering very confusing. In addition, we got the impression that the order was not taken seriously and that the employee did not understand her job well. Customer friendliness was nowhere to be found. It is a shame, because you should be able to expect friendly and clear service.

Unfortunately, I spent I don't know how long placing the order at the self-service desk. Because the device was set to be incredibly sensitive, it clicked on everything when scrolling down. Finally finished after at least 10 minutes, the device malfunctioned and we were sent to the service desk. So we just left…

Had an unpleasant experience at all. We won't be coming back here.

Had a good meal. A standard KFC place. Not everything was equally warm. The place could have been dressed up a bit more. Tasty vegetarian options.

Hey kfc lelystad, I wanted some wings because I wont be around for a while n decided to buy 2 original pc. Open the bag found one original pc n a nugget size chicken. I went back to the cashier n explained to her that this is not a full piece chicken but her comments was; we are trained to give the clients small pc wing n a normal size. I really tried my best and told her i can not except this since i paid for a full chicken. I will be posted this on another places aswell. Because this is literally a joke!

Crowded place, way to many orders, no printed receipt avaiable, no table numbers available, not a great place to visit unless you really need to, have time and enjoy chicken that has been cooled off....loosing it's crisp, making it chewy. Not a reall recommendation to be honest 🤷‍♂️ And than look at the garbage in the area, caused by KFC and McDonald's...for which nobody takes responsibility...

I got the sandwiches quickly - they must have been reheated for several hours. 🤮

Your employee wasn't very nice today. He screamed Dr. Order Numbers grumpily and gave customers an unpleasant attitude. The cleaners aren't cleaning well either.

I didn't get regular chicken pieces with the variety bucket for 2 people. Otherwise, everything was to my liking.

The service is very unfriendly; they seem like teenagers who don't understand how to deal with customers. On top of that, they deliberately give you small pieces of chicken if you use the drive-in. Very childish behavior. As a manager, I would pay closer attention to this!!! Unless they were instructed to do so, of course....

It’s actually always too cold here, your food, and you don't have to say anything about it because if you contact KFC service, they just blithely tell you, "We don't guarantee it's hot, sir." Or you drove with it, then it cools down too, of course. Of course, in that one minute to the highway, the fries went completely soggy. Of course. Good story.

What a filthy eatery this has become. No access upstairs, staff barely trying to take one last order, closed toilets. Anything to do as little work as possible. The reason is known, of course, but let's just leave that aside.

I don't think the service is very good. I am Chinese. It is discrimination. The last time I went to buy something, I told them that we wanted to buy this. The money we brought was clearly enough, but they said it wasn't enough. When we tried to communicate with him again, the waiter said that he was busy here, so don't disturb us. I am not sure if this meant that he refused to buy it.

We ordered 3 milkshakes; the vanilla milkshakes didn't taste like vanilla at all, unlike how they used to. We walked back inside and pointed this out. The manager wasn't very keen on offering a solution at first, but eventually changed his mind and confirmed that the flavors had indeed been adjusted. He then asked if we wanted other flavors, which we accepted. So, in short, it was resolved nicely in the end. Thank you.

The fries were cold and the loaded fries were soggy and cold. Next, you want to enjoy a nice meal upstairs in the restaurant, but you are first required to clean your own spot before you can sit down comfortably. You look around and see nothing but mess and leftover food from someone else. It is a shame to get this back when you order €50 worth of food.

Although there was an issue with my order, the supervisor was genuinely apologetic and replaced it quickly. Great customer service.

Food as always, but oh my god... ... What terrible staff. The lady at the drive-in was impossible to understand. And she didn't understand Dutch... Not even when I drove up to the window. Then the lady forgot half of it. So I went back inside. Another opportunist came along who was just as easy to understand. And didn't understand a damn bit of Dutch. Then, fortunately, a blond lad came along and helped me out. I understand now why everyone here drives to the McDonald's across the street.

Went yesterday with two friends; what a farce. The ordering kiosks are more intelligent than the person operating the cash register. The burgers looked so pathetic that even the Double Whammy burger from the movie Falling Down looks appetizing. If I may offer a tip to KFC, put someone behind the counter who can speak decent Dutch.

Truly terrible, had to wait 50 minutes for the food. It was warm, but due to the rush it was greasy as hell; what a misery. Never again KFC, at least not here, pff. Didn't even get the reusable cup I ordered; no, that really wasn't good.

This KFC is truly awful. So many items were unavailable, severely limiting your choices right from the start. Additionally, the staff were wearing earbuds, and I was just given stupid stares at the checkout when I tried to pay with cash. It seemed like no one really knew what to do or felt like helping. Very poor service and an unpleasant experience.

The food was served quickly and the staff was friendly.

I went through the drive-in; the lady taking my order was very curt and unclear, and spoke poor Dutch. There was no one at the payment window. I was just supposed to understand with a hand gesture that I had to go to window three. There, food was thrust into my hands and the card reader was held in front of me; again, very curt. The sandwich was also dry and not tasty. From now on, I'll just go back to McDonald's.

For us it was a great experience. The food was freshly made and the store was clean. Waiting time was also ok.

It's always tasty, although I find €24 for fast food just really expensive; a decent hamburger is 8-9 euros, that's just quite a lot of money for the quality you get.
