King Burger Chicken in Wijk 03 Nieuw Den Helder-West

This place is really going downhill. You order kapsalon and you get raw fries and nasty greasy meat (chicken doner). You order pizza and it is so tough and hard that it is inedible, and I added a comment asking if they could pay attention to this; I don't think they even read that. Another rock-hard pizza, just threw the pizza away. For me, this was the last time! Never again. If you call to report it, they are busy and you have to wait a long time if you want a new one.

The fries were 30 times harder than cement. I had to call the dentist for a broken tooth. My tip: fry them a little longer, and I think the fries will walk out of the place on their own. Degrading trash.

The bread was all very dry and squashed. The edges were very hard. And a mixed salad for four euros is far too small.

The woman behind the counter was really grumpy; I seriously had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for her colleague to come back before I could pay, ridiculous.

I ordered for the first time, biggest mistake. First of all, it was delivered way too late. I ate my Turkish pizza after 5 minutes. Everything came out immediately. Don't eat here!

It says 20-30 min delivery. I've already been waiting for 2 hours. They say delivery doesn't start until 4 o'clock, so why do you put down that you open so early?

I ordered a pizza that already had ham on it, but I added extra ham on top because that was an option. There are a total of two slices of ham on the pizza; otherwise, the pizza sticks to the box, causing it to fall apart when you pick it up.

The fries were really bone dry and rock hard. It looked like they had been re-fried for the tenth time. The 'Berenhap' (bear's bite) wasn't well cooked on the inside. The cheese soufflé was also hard and dry. I had also ordered a chicken spring roll, but they didn't have them anymore. They called politely about it. However, we were only reachable after the third call. Good thing they kept trying to call!! Instead of the spring roll, we received chicken corn dogs. Fine, but these were also very bone dry and hard. We have ordered here often; there was nothing wrong with it then. That was well over half a year ago, though. But this time it was truly terrible. Honestly, it is scandalous that you serve people this kind of dry food. The delivery person was also curt, by the way. I had a tip for him with me, but he was so curt that I couldn't even give him the tip; in hindsight, it's probably for the best. No, this was so extreme. I'm done with this.

Food not received, phone not answered. The next day no new order, no refund, ordered again, wrong products and missing products.

Ordered drinks online for a festive evening. After nearly 2 hours, still no delivery. Eventually, I called to ask where my order was. At first, I was told three times that there was “no receipt.” But eventually, it turned out my order was finally on its way. Still, I did not receive exactly what I ordered; the quantities were correct, though. There is a lack of communication, which is a shame, since communication can resolve a great deal and ensure satisfaction.

Delivery took ages. The burgers are inedible. They are just frozen hamburgers and everything on them was inedible too. Terrible.

The bacon on my burger looked like a slice of cervelat. The burgers here seem to come from a freezer bag.

They are a bunch of scammers and unreliable!!!!!! I ordered and paid via Thuiszorgd after waiting for an hour. I called them and asked where my order was. I was told I hadn't ordered, so I said I could show the payment online. They said, "Yes, that's not possible," and hung up. Well, money gone. Two months later, because I was hungry, I thought I'd give them another chance. And this time, I thought I'd drive to the shop and order in person. I drove from Julianadorp to the shop, but it was closed. A truly unreliable business. If you only want to scam people and open whenever it suits you, then don't start a business, you amateurs.

Ordered a durum with meat. The meat was not fresh and tasted very disgusting, as if it were spoiled. Went straight into the trash.

Had it delivered by Thuis Bezorgd. It took much longer than promised; that can happen, sometimes they suddenly get busy. The food, if you can even call it food, is truly some of the worst you can get.

This food was weird the meat was a weird structure and barely eatable the "normal spareribs" were spicy and the delivery was to late it said they'd be here at 22:40 but it was here at 23:04 giving it two stars cuz the guy was nice

The veal spareribs were very fatty. The fries were old, tough, and cold. The sauce I ordered wasn't included. The delivery driver also forgot half of it in his truck. I won't be ordering from here again.

Update: King politely called and got my money back. They explained that it was their preparation method and likely differs from other companies. €15 for 10 small chicken wings (which contained more fried breadcrumbs than chicken) and 2 small milkshakes for €10. With all the extra charges, a total order of €28, which was ABSOLUTELY not worth it. Very disappointed.

I ordered food from the wrong restaurant...there's one like that here in Leeuwarden too...mistakes happen. When I discovered the error, I immediately called and they canceled my order and promised me a refund. Now, after more than two weeks and three phone calls, I still haven't received my money back!!! I'm so angry about this. He should have refunded the money long ago. He's had plenty of time to do so! This is a terribly bad and dishonest company!!!! Update: the owner contacted me after reading my review. They explained and offered compensation, which is really nice! What a terrible place this has become! After waiting an hour and a half for my order, we received half a container of Kapsalon, an ice-cold frik speciaal with only mayo and onion, and fries without the mayonnaise. They also forgot the bear snack. This is the last time we order from here!

My pizza had a plastic bag baked inside, some items weren't delivered, and the pizza was truly inedible (even before I found the plastic in it :) )

A very bad experience. The fries were cold, soggy, and simply not cooked through. The peanut sauce was watery. The bamischijf (noodle slice) fell apart as soon as I took it out of the bag; it wasn't crispy or fried properly at all. Furthermore, part of the order was cancelled without any communication.

Had a delicious meal at King Burger chicken. Great staff behind the counter. The guys were great. The Sawerma dish with cheese was cooked through, exactly how I wanted it. Perfect!

I will NEVER order from here again. You pay 25 euros for two kapsalons. Two guys arrive on a fat bike, half-bivouac. They don't even have time to say hello. I'm happy with my food, and guess what? After calling again, the food arrived after an hour and a half. We ordered a salami pizza and a bucket of chicken strips. The chicken was tasty, but not amazing. I give it a 6.5. That pizza was absolutely ridiculous. It was a pre-made pizza with only cheese and salami on it. It was also completely cold and incredibly tough. It was absolutely disgusting. Sorry, no disrespect, but this cost me 30 euros. I could have had a better evening at Tops. Such a shame.

Women on the counter is such a rude women so bad she behave so badly

I order Yusu chicken satay with a small bowl of rice as an extra. Guess what? They don't have chicken satay or rice!!! And instead of politely calling, a guy shows up at the door telling me I'm not getting any food and I need a refund. Great! Now I can still go to the supermarket and get chicken satay with rice! Thanks! It's actually cheaper too. Great idea. Oh, and their pizzas are awful too.

Picked up food today: a large shawarma platter and a half-chicken platter. Got home in 10 minutes and unpacked right away. The food was already cold; the chicken was dry and tough, and—this wasn't indicated anywhere—in ketjap. The fries were overcooked and also cold, and the shawarma container had a lot of water in it. Too bad, this was the last time.

Just picked up some food, went straight home, close to home. The food was cold. The chicken was really tough, one bag of fries was overcooked, and the other was still partially raw. The shawarma was soaking in water. And tasted like poor supermarket quality.

We don't understand all the negative reviews – our pizzas were very well topped, and neither too dry nor undercooked. Our medium fries were so large that we could have ordered just one. They were also very tasty, by the way. Service was also very pleasant and accommodating. We only waited 15 minutes for two pizzas and two medium fries.

Food was perfect and still hot when it arrived out of all the tents in Den Helder this one is definitely recommended

We ordered with a group for an evening with some friends. The food was very greasy, and the fries were half-loosely placed on the pizza boxes, which were also cold. We were missing some sauces, and we'd ordered some beer. We received a call saying they didn't have the amount we needed and what we wanted in return. When I ordered here a few years ago, it was still good. Just ordered a Mexican burger, I have never had such a dry burger as this where the bun was quite hard. As if it came from the microwave. The large donor bun, there was also very little donor on it.

The delivery person walked away without accepting payment. After mentioning that payment had not yet been made, it was my problem that he had no change. Order cold, incomplete and called back to check, received feedback that the menu on home delivery is incorrect, their website literally indicates the same as home delivery. It's a shame, it will probably be busy, but it won't be repeated for me.

Kapsalon and pizza ordered here. Pizza was missing toppings, and hair salon looked unkempt. Never had so little meat at a hair salon before. 70% fries, 10% lettuce and tomato, 15% cheese and 5% meat.

King Burger Chicken really surprised me positively! The food was super fresh, perfectly seasoned and the portions were generous. The chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside – just as it should be. The burger was well constructed, with fresh toppings and a creamy sauce that brought everything together. The service was also great: friendly staff and fast service. I will definitely come back here more often. Highly recommended for anyone who likes good chicken and burgers!

I ordered food at 11:30 PM and nothing had been delivered by 1:15 AM. We called at 00:45 to find out where it was, he indicated that they were on their way, but that seemed nonsense to me as half an hour later I still had nothing. Finally the food was delivered at 1:30 am. It takes them 2 hours to fry and deliver a chicken mix. This was an order of €22 in chicken mix, €0.50 required for the garlic sauce that you had to tick which was in the bag instead of in the containers, and €2 in delivery costs. Oh yes, I ate more fat than chicken. Never order here again.

What a bad mess. I don't know any other word for this. Ordered spare ribs with honey and vegetarian burgers. The honey was dripping from the bag. Everything was covered. They were largely burnt and tasteless. The vegetarian burgers were not delivered. We got wraps for this. Everything was not warm. It was almost cold.

Nice man and was quick with delivery, but I was missing fristi which was paid for and the meat was very salty. Luckily I had ordered chicken wings, otherwise I could have rightfully thrown everything away. A bowl of rice has less content than the sauce containers that you receive generously without asking.

Went to a hair salon, meat was dried out, took a long time, sauce didn't taste good and the quantity was more like a small than a large. I certainly do not recommend ordering here for the price (€30). In the photo we had just eaten 3 bites, the container was not even full.

I recently ordered food here and it took 2 hours for my pizza to arrive and it was also cold and tasted like ice cream

By far the worst value for money I have ever experienced. I'm not exaggerating. Horribly bad spareribs. Chicken with the fat still running off, with almost an inch of oil at the bottom of the bucket. I have no idea how it's possible to make fries bad, but here they do it. Paid more than 70 euros for junk.
