On the recommendation of friends, we made a reservation here. Upon entering, we immediately noticed how noisy and cluttered it was. The restaurant is large, and because we were seated in the middle, we were quite bothered by the hustle and bustle around us. The food itself was really good, and the service was friendly and attentive. One disappointment was that the music was quite loud, making it difficult to sit comfortably. Furthermore, the urinals weren't clean, which made for a less pleasant experience. All in all, mixed feelings: good food and service, but the overall atmosphere and hygiene need attention. It wasn't the place we expected.

I had a party with you, and it was very well organized. Beautiful venue, delicious snacks, and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years and am constantly amazed! This restaurant is a real gem in Borne: the atmosphere and ambiance are perfect, the service is excellent and professional, and the food is simply fantastic. No standard dishes here, but true explosions of flavors made with the very best fresh ingredients. The meat and fish are top-quality, the oysters are highly recommended, and as an appetizer, you absolutely have to try the steak tartare or the XXL carpaccio—a feast for your taste buds. An absolute must-visit!

Had dinner at KIR for a business dinner. The service was excellent and efficient. Beautiful decor, good food. The dishes were delicious and generous portions. In short, excellent!

We went for the first time last Friday after being told it would be excellent. Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. We opted for the chef's menu. We received three courses, but unfortunately, my starter already contained MULTIPLE hairs in it. That shouldn't happen, considering the price you pay. I only received an apology, two free drinks, and the dish again. After that, I definitely didn't enjoy my meal anymore. I also made it clear that I wasn't amused; I still don't have anything good to say about this restaurant.

Vegetarians are spoiled for choice. There are only two options: For vegetarians who eat a lot, Kir's is a bit of a struggle. Risotto has been on the menu for years. And now they had something new: black radish steak. It was mostly mashed potatoes combined with overcooked vegetables... A real shame...

A good restaurant where you'll receive a friendly welcome, the food is delicious and plentiful. The interior looks modern and cozy. We'll definitely be back. Tip: make a reservation in advance; the bar can get quite noisy, but there are plenty of quiet spots to sit.

Heerlijk gegeten met 3 volwassenen en 1 kind. Op ons verzoek konden we in de nieuwe serre plaatsnemen. De bediening was erg goed en het eten was eveneens top.

Op donderdag en zaterdag heerlijk gedineerd bij Kir. De kaart geeft een ruime keuze en de bediening is vriendelijk en deskundig. We hadden tweemaal uitstekende gerechten . Met bijpassende wijn. We gaan het nog eens herhalen. We werden door de eigenaar op ons B&B thuisgebracht Geweldig

We had a set menu. We found the time between courses rather long. We were being charged extra for certain items. We discovered this by paying attention. I can imagine that not every customer checks their receipt, meaning they end up paying much more than necessary.

Delicious 3 course meal. Expert service. My lamb rump was deliciously cooked. Definitely recommended👍🏼.

Previously excellent food. It's a shame that it was a disappointment now. Taking the order took a long time. Serving drinks ditto. Sitting with an empty glass for a long time. The quality of the food was not as usual. Came across as sloppy. When the dessert was finally served, we were already done with it. Too bad... hopefully it will remain a one-time experience and it didn't quite work out that evening

Domper Slechte prijs/kwaliteit Zalm was smaakloos, huisgemaakte salade was een bakje sla zonder dressing en bij een glas wijn van bijna 7 euro kon je geen glaasje water krijgen, alleen een flesje van bijna 4 euro. Voor ons nooit weer

Eten was koud asperges, tweede keer was de zalm koud , voor ons niet weer krijgt geen waar voor je geld .moet veel geld betalen en dan krijg je koud eten

We had a reception after a family member burial service. This was attended by other family members and friends. Two of my family members ended up in the ER units of ZGT and MST. They had swallowed beef which was not cut into small pieces. My cousin ended up at ZGT in Hengelo and was released after they got the large piece of beef out of his throat. The other family member stayed for 9 days at MST after being re-animated at the restaurant after being in the ER for one day and then transfer to a recovery department at the same hospital. Maybe an idea to cut the beef in smaller portions and have a knife alongside the dish.

Goedemorgen, we hadden 16 april een begrafenis van mijn moeder hier. We kregen bordjes met biefstuk opgediend zonder mes. Er lagen vrij grote brokken vlees in het bord. Ik ben die dag gestikt in een groot stuk vlees waardoor ik 10 .dagen in het ziekenhuis heb gelegen . Een goede tip voor de volgende keer : geef iedereen wel een mes erbij en snij het vlees in kleinere stukken en wat ik schandalig vind dat ik nog geen enkele reactie van jullie gehoord heb. A neat and beautiful restaurant where the food was delicious

After much consideration, I went there once. We opted for the 4-course menu, but in retrospect we would have been better off ordering individual dishes. What a disappointment, all in all I think the food is really substandard and tasteless. Tenderloin far too well done, beef stew far too dry... I seriously had much better meat on my plate at the wok 10 kilometers away. I really enjoyed the experience but certainly expected more. For us this was once and never again.

We had a really nice evening! The atmosphere and service were good and both the wine and the meat were really tasty. Everything was well seasoned and we certainly enjoyed it. However, I missed some refinement in the dishes at some points. The 'salmon tartare' actually turned out to be just smoked salmon, which did not really meet the expectations of a tartare. In addition, I did not really like the dishes with the prices and the appearance. I understand the fusion concept, but it could have been a bit more elegant for me.

Eten prima. Gerechten prima maar geen spannende keuken. Ambiance gaf ons het gevoel van de Chinees. Bediening te veel gericht op voortgang, te snel. Geen gevoel voor de gast. Gastheerschap ontbreekt. De lovende verhalen die wij gehoord hebben, kunnen wij niet beamen. Helaas.

Had a delicious meal with a large group a few weeks ago. Kind of shared dining done where everything was gluten free. The sandwiches that came with it were really delicious (just like the rest). When putting together the menu, almost everything was possible (of course taking into account that some dishes simply cannot be gluten-free). But there were still a lot of tasty treats left to choose from. However, the music could have been a little softer for us (but that may be personal preference). Worth repeating.

Een fantastische ervaring! Nog niet eerder bij KIR gedineerd en dan ook nog eens bij toeval op de openingsavond van het nieuwe gedeelte. Een prachtige sfeer met de houten bogen en inrichting. Fantastische bediening, heel attent en netjes. Het eten was ook fantastisch. Het vlees was heerlijk mals met lekkere sauzen. Voorgerechten en toetjes waren ook heerlijk. Extra leuk dat de crème brulee aan tafel werd gekarameliseerd. Echt niets meer dan lof voor de prachtige sfeer, het heerlijke eten en de fantastische bediening! Wij komen terug!

Eating out at Kir Royal in Borne. Heard a lot about it. Busy and dark atmosphere, friendly staff, (too) fast service. Asked too often if we wanted something to drink, as many as 5 times while the glasses on the table were still full. Nice menu and delicious food, great! Dessert is desserts, little choice in terms of ice cream. Downside was the Irish coffee in a wine glass? Without a nice dollop of whipped cream... such a shame. Received a small dollop of whipped cream from the kitchen, excellent service. At Kir Royal the Irish coffee is simply different, even though you wouldn't expect it there.

We had dinner here tonight. 10/10 points. Parking large space, entering, staff, sandwich in advance, wine is poured, the food and the high tables at the bar. The oysters as a starter were really not tasty together with the super large carpaccio with toast shared together. TRUFFLE TERIYAKI STEAK: spicy sirloin steak extinguished with teriyaki-truffle sauce, topped with sriracha mayonnaise, spring onion and roasted nuts on oriental vegetables. I wanted another one so delicious!! Added truffle fries, delicious, but unnecessary because it was really enough all together. Rounded off with a cappucino and mint tea.

Vanavond een geweldige beleving gehad van hoe je heerlijk kunt eten, de tijd voor je genomen wordt en je er even helemaal tussenuit bent. Gerechten waren top, sfeer was ontspannen. Zeker de moeite waard om een bezoekje te brengen!

Went to Kir in Borne with friends. And we had a really good meal. Cote de boeuf for the three of us. We had an oyster beforehand. And it must be said, the wine was very tasty with a very good price-quality ratio for which I would like to compliment. Top!

My parents' 60th anniversary party was held here. Very nice and atmospheric restaurant. Service is very friendly and hospitable. Exclusive menu card, wide and sufficient. Recommended for everyone.

Deze plek is geweldig voor een gezellig en ongedwongen avondje uit. Prijsklasse zal iets boven het gemiddelde liggen maar daar heb je wel fantastisch eten voor.

KIR diner x bar is open 7 days a week and it is always pleasantly busy. The ambiance is attractive and informal. No stiff stuff. We enjoyed our visit again. KIR has a varied menu, so everyone can find something tasty. Assertive young service makes the evening pleasant.

Nice place! Nice food :) Many options for drinks, nice wines. Some wines are a bit pricey, but taste good! With starter and main course and 3 wines, a bottle of water and a coke, the two of us paid €117. Generally more expensive dishes, but prepared and served with attention. You will receive a sandwich with two tasty dips in advance. Top!

Great food, nice ambiance and good service. An error on the receipt was resolved very quickly after payment! When we made a small mistake afterwards, it was also resolved with a smile! Had a wonderful evening that will definitely be repeated!

KIR diner x bar is 7 dagen per week geopend en het is er altijd gezellig druk. De ambiance is sfeervol en informeel. Geen stijf gebeuren. We hebben wederom genoten van ons bezoek. KIR heeft een gevarieerde kaart, dus iedereen kan wel iets lekkers vinden. Assertieve jonge bediening maakt de avond aangenaam.

Delicious food again. We got two appetizers, a mustard soup and an oublie cone with foie gras. A lot of attention is paid to all dishes. Everything delicious and beautifully served. Vol hoge verwachtingen dachten we heerlijk te gaan dineren bij Kir; wat een teleurstelling. Elke gang viel helaas tegen en voor die prijs mag dat niet gebeuren. De gangen gingen van smaakloos tot verbrand, niks streelde de tong en het was verre van bijzonder. De bediening was jong maar deed het goed. Qua sfeer binnen het restaurant voelde het meer aan als een all you can eat wokrestaurant dan ergens waar je graag al je geld versmijt. Al met al, nee, geen aanrader.

What a nice tent! We came in and got a nice spot at the bar. The staff is very nice and capable. Even though the place was full, the staff seemed completely in control and was open to a little chat. You notice that people enjoy working here. Had scallop and tacos as a starter. Both dishes equally delicious. Followed by lobster and ribeye. Met expectations. To finish we had a crème brûlée and crepe Suzette. Really delicious! In short: Delicious food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Haven't eaten or drunk this well in a long time. Definitely recommended if you are ever in the area.

We hebben hier voor de eerste keer gegeten, het was zo onwijs lekker. Het eten was super lekker, het personeel was vriendelijk en het interieur is heel mooi. Een echte aanrader om eens heen te gaan en hier te gaan dineren!

De bediening was ook erg goed en vriendelijk. Kortom we zullen hopelijk nog jaren samen komen met de familie om het huwelijksfeest te vieren van mijn schoonouders. 👍👍👍

Eten was echt lekker. Wat ons tegenviel dat het heel gehorig is zodat een gesprek met de tafelgenoten lastig is te volgen. Ook worden er teveel mensen in een ruimte gezet. Als je dan een dikke prijs voor het eten betaald dan mogen ze daar zeker meer aandacht aan besteden.
