Delicious food, super cozy, beautifully decorated, and such nice staff. Definitely recommended! The foie gras is especially a plus.

What an arrogant jerk the guy who helped us today was! (Curly hair and glasses) He absolutely refused to listen and cut us off immediately. Be careful when you get a gift card there to make sure it actually comes with a card! According to this guy, the people at Kir never make mistakes. He didn't look for a solution at all and just wanted to get rid of us right away. Other staff, however, were very friendly and looked for a solution!

We were kindly received and escorted to our table. It was a high table, making it slightly more difficult to sit down. A delicious warm bread roll on the house as a starter. We ordered a 3-course menu; all dishes were prepared with great care. All in all, we enjoyed the friendly service and the delicious food. Definitely worth repeating.

The food was good, but not cheap. However, I do like to look outside through clean windows while eating. Unfortunately, that was almost impossible. Very dirty, what a shame!

We just took our first step into this amazing restaurant. We are both picky eaters (or so we think), as we indicated during the reservation that we eat gluten-free due to celiac disease. Even before we could say anything, our host mentioned that he was aware of it and would do his utmost to ensure everything worked out. While most restaurants would want to look you away, they go the extra mile. In short, for extremely good service, delicious food in a beautiful ambiance, I can certainly recommend KIR. We will definitely be back.

A fantastic dining experience. The selection and quality of the dishes were amazing. The wine list is extensive and the price-quality ratio of the wine is very good. Very good wine for under 50 euros. The service is very friendly and efficient. And to top it all off, one of the staff members offered to drive us to the hotel in his car. Never experienced anything like it before and greatly appreciated. A top-notch place!

I hadn't been there for some time due to circumstances and had invited my friends for dinner. Upon entering, the beautiful expansion immediately caught my eye. The bar, the open kitchen, the seating areas, and of course the terrace, where we were courteously escorted personally to our seats. It was striking that the staff consisted of young people who were visibly well-prepared for their duties. Efficient, articulate, and neatly dressed in uniform. The menu looks good. No plastic sleeves, but good quality cardboard with a choice for everyone. Not an endless list of dishes, but a good selection of quality. Our requests were taken quickly. And the food... just as I remembered it. Simply top-notch. Compliments to the chef and his team, who have been conjuring up exquisitely delicious meals from the kitchen for years. And so it was again this time. The terrace was getting busier due to the good weather. The efficient staff looks and observes well and accurately anticipates a question, facial expression, or gesture to get the customers' attention. I was looking directly into the sun, and after a question, that was resolved in no time with a parasol and a relocation. We enjoyed the food and the lovely ambiance. We will definitely be back. Thanks to the team for the delicious food and the perfect service.

We had a very tasty meal, although the portions weren't too big, they were a bit pricey. Drinks were refilled very slowly.

Chic restaurant, the XXL carpaccio was fantastic! Personally, I found the fries with truffle and Parmesan a bit too salty, but that might be a personal preference. There could have been a bit more sauce on the side, as there was no sauce or cheese underneath. No fuss about bringing a service dog (GREAT!), they even made sure to leave extra space at the table and I was nicely given a bowl of water, thank you for that! The shareribs (shared portion/side dish) were also very tasty and well marinated!

We had a particularly delicious meal. Tender meat and the starter tasting platter was also delicious! Just a tip: it would have been nice if they had briefly explained what was on the tasting platter. But all in all, we had a very pleasant evening. Compliments to the chef. And the staff were very friendly as well.

The sauces tasted like they were from a plastic bottle. The portion of fries for two people can be a bit bigger, especially if it’s for the table.

First of all: the carpaccio is the best I have ever eaten. And the fries are always very good too. So deliciously crispy. We have been here very often over the past few years. But today we came to the conclusion that this was the last time. I ordered the steak teriyaki today, but almost half of the meat consisted of tendons and fat. Such a shame. Not that this has been the only point of criticism over the past few years, but it was the deciding factor.

WORTHLESS! One star is already too much! Starters weren't tasty! Nothing had any flavor. Had to run the salt and pepper mill through everything. Main courses were impossible to chew, way too raw, and the taste and texture were terrible. The waitress offered to send the food back of her own accord to cook it through a bit. Spare ribs were burnt, just pitch black. We ordered a bottle of wine and they wanted to give us an already opened bottle. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for the new bottle. Unbelievable.

The car also looks quite cool. None of us should be too afraid of trespassing, because it would be nice to crouch on a hook. Fire fines are still not too big if the fire is inside. You won't hear much of it otherwise, because it is connected to each other by scattered corners and passageways. That doesn't matter, because then it doesn't echo as much and you're still reasonably well protected. The whole place is acoustically well treated with all kinds of coverings on the walls and roof, from leopard print to oriental carpet. A whole platoon of people could be sitting there, and you can still understand each other well. At least, where we were sitting, because the funkhouses were really getting into it. At our high table, right next to a circulating cocktail bar, we could get a good view of it all, yes. The downside is that on that side you are right in the line of fire. We are still being pelted with ice. Mer that was just fanaticism of a cocktail maker, who wants to cause harm (I hope). Etten was also there. Vuurof got flu stews with streek sauces: a pesto from peddesteule and something like curry sauce moss wean, which reminded me of what those who used to mix the natural chips themselves together: mayo and curry. There's nothing wrong with that, those of us have always eaten too much. But that may be the charm of KIR; just great stuff, nicely prepared and Wieders gin bloazerieje. We enjoyed sharing arancini, three crispy risotto balls with tomato salad. On the truffle side, there was still plenty of flavor. And those who lived in woolen space held fire and court. Slogans from the menu and all good fun. So I could choose no. Then there's a mixed grill, then a taste of the whole thing. There was a blind next to the ribs, where as they were seam, the meat would slide right off the bone. Nothing to say. Note: the ribs could have used more sauce. There are plenty of good tastes of fire. Wal biejzunder: here you get the same two pots with pesto and curry sauce. Well, the head isn't too hot either. Also a pot of salad with good food: celery, carrots, spring onions and some other utensils, as a fresh counterpart to the fragrant grilled meat. A puff pastry filled the last few steaks. We ate with a shared cheesecake. We laughed at the small pieces of cheesecake. But the ball of rhinoceros, crumbled mussels and tufts of mascarpone, did it for him. All that with two steaks, two sumaniellos (!) and a mocktail cost 120 euros. You can't say anything about that. No wonder it was so full. We'll come back again.

Three of our four main courses (the same ones, by the way!) were okay. The fourth, absolutely not. This dish shouldn't even have left the kitchen. It was a tasteless lamb dish, from which I expected a lot of flavor when ordering. They agreed with me, so it wasn't charged. Furthermore, no further attention was paid to it. No gesture of compensation. That would certainly have been appropriate and would definitely have been appreciated (e.g., in the form of a free glass of port with the cheese platter afterwards). Shame on you, KIR. We noticed that the enormous table capacity does not benefit the atmosphere or the staff's attentiveness. Previous experiences were more positive. The wait staff knows their stuff, are well-trained, and extremely friendly, but the busyness takes its toll, and we noticed that quite a bit this time. Shame on you, KIR, because we wish you more appreciation!

We had a delicious meal and a fantastic party. Everything was perfectly arranged.

The restaurant was beautiful and cozy and the service was incredible. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and attentive. Richard took such good care of us the whole evening. We ordered the lamb, ravioli, spare ribs, asparagus, carpaccio and the chocolate chip cookie for the dessert. Words cannot describe how absolutely delicious everything was. Highly highly recommend.

We ate with 8 people, and it turns out that 7 people got their order forgotten once, okay, that can happen, but if you get the missing menu and the steak is raw, and you say something about it and they do nothing about it, I think that is very bad.

Beautiful ambiance!!! It's a very cozy place. The service is super friendly. The food is delicious. Only my appetizer was chicken. It looked like meatballs and didn't taste like chicken at all; I didn't like it. And when we first ordered drinks, they said the house rolls were still in the oven and were being served that way. Did we want the cured Italian ham with... to warm up our taste buds? Our friends thought it was also on the house... because that's how they suggested it. I think they were right, because that's how it was worded. We'll definitely be back ;)

Despite being a large restaurant, it has a cozy atmosphere. The food is good, and the prices are right. Most of the compliments go to the smartly dressed staff. They work very well together and are friendly to the guests.

On the recommendation of friends, we made a reservation here. Upon entering, we immediately noticed how noisy and cluttered it was. The restaurant is large, and because we were seated in the middle, we were quite bothered by the hustle and bustle around us. The food itself was really good, and the service was friendly and attentive. One disappointment was that the music was quite loud, making it difficult to sit comfortably. Furthermore, the urinals weren't clean, which made for a less pleasant experience. All in all, mixed feelings: good food and service, but the overall atmosphere and hygiene need attention. It wasn't the place we expected.

I've been coming here for years and am constantly amazed! This restaurant is a real gem in Borne: the atmosphere and ambiance are perfect, the service is excellent and professional, and the food is simply fantastic. No standard dishes here, but true explosions of flavors made with the very best fresh ingredients. The meat and fish are top-quality, the oysters are highly recommended, and as an appetizer, you absolutely have to try the steak tartare or the XXL carpaccio—a feast for your taste buds. An absolute must-visit!

We went for the first time last Friday after being told it would be excellent. Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. We opted for the chef's menu. We received three courses, but unfortunately, my starter already contained MULTIPLE hairs in it. That shouldn't happen, considering the price you pay. I only received an apology, two free drinks, and the dish again. After that, I definitely didn't enjoy my meal anymore. I also made it clear that I wasn't amused; I still don't have anything good to say about this restaurant.

Vegetarians are spoiled for choice. There are only two options: For vegetarians who eat a lot, Kir's is a bit of a struggle. Risotto has been on the menu for years. And now they had something new: black radish steak. It was mostly mashed potatoes combined with overcooked vegetables... A real shame...

We had a set menu. We found the time between courses rather long. We were being charged extra for certain items. We discovered this by paying attention. I can imagine that not every customer checks their receipt, meaning they end up paying much more than necessary.

Previously excellent food. It's a shame that it was a disappointment now. Taking the order took a long time. Serving drinks ditto. Sitting with an empty glass for a long time. The quality of the food was not as usual. Came across as sloppy. When the dessert was finally served, we were already done with it. Too bad... hopefully it will remain a one-time experience and it didn't quite work out that evening

Domper Slechte prijs/kwaliteit Zalm was smaakloos, huisgemaakte salade was een bakje sla zonder dressing en bij een glas wijn van bijna 7 euro kon je geen glaasje water krijgen, alleen een flesje van bijna 4 euro. Voor ons nooit weer

Eten was koud asperges, tweede keer was de zalm koud , voor ons niet weer krijgt geen waar voor je geld .moet veel geld betalen en dan krijg je koud eten

We had a reception after a family member burial service. This was attended by other family members and friends. Two of my family members ended up in the ER units of ZGT and MST. They had swallowed beef which was not cut into small pieces. My cousin ended up at ZGT in Hengelo and was released after they got the large piece of beef out of his throat. The other family member stayed for 9 days at MST after being re-animated at the restaurant after being in the ER for one day and then transfer to a recovery department at the same hospital. Maybe an idea to cut the beef in smaller portions and have a knife alongside the dish.

Goedemorgen, we hadden 16 april een begrafenis van mijn moeder hier. We kregen bordjes met biefstuk opgediend zonder mes. Er lagen vrij grote brokken vlees in het bord. Ik ben die dag gestikt in een groot stuk vlees waardoor ik 10 .dagen in het ziekenhuis heb gelegen . Een goede tip voor de volgende keer : geef iedereen wel een mes erbij en snij het vlees in kleinere stukken en wat ik schandalig vind dat ik nog geen enkele reactie van jullie gehoord heb. A neat and beautiful restaurant where the food was delicious

After much consideration, I went there once. We opted for the 4-course menu, but in retrospect we would have been better off ordering individual dishes. What a disappointment, all in all I think the food is really substandard and tasteless. Tenderloin far too well done, beef stew far too dry... I seriously had much better meat on my plate at the wok 10 kilometers away. I really enjoyed the experience but certainly expected more. For us this was once and never again.

We had a really nice evening! The atmosphere and service were good and both the wine and the meat were really tasty. Everything was well seasoned and we certainly enjoyed it. However, I missed some refinement in the dishes at some points. The 'salmon tartare' actually turned out to be just smoked salmon, which did not really meet the expectations of a tartare. In addition, I did not really like the dishes with the prices and the appearance. I understand the fusion concept, but it could have been a bit more elegant for me.

Eten prima. Gerechten prima maar geen spannende keuken. Ambiance gaf ons het gevoel van de Chinees. Bediening te veel gericht op voortgang, te snel. Geen gevoel voor de gast. Gastheerschap ontbreekt. De lovende verhalen die wij gehoord hebben, kunnen wij niet beamen. Helaas.

Had a delicious meal with a large group a few weeks ago. Kind of shared dining done where everything was gluten free. The sandwiches that came with it were really delicious (just like the rest). When putting together the menu, almost everything was possible (of course taking into account that some dishes simply cannot be gluten-free). But there were still a lot of tasty treats left to choose from. However, the music could have been a little softer for us (but that may be personal preference). Worth repeating.

Een fantastische ervaring! Nog niet eerder bij KIR gedineerd en dan ook nog eens bij toeval op de openingsavond van het nieuwe gedeelte. Een prachtige sfeer met de houten bogen en inrichting. Fantastische bediening, heel attent en netjes. Het eten was ook fantastisch. Het vlees was heerlijk mals met lekkere sauzen. Voorgerechten en toetjes waren ook heerlijk. Extra leuk dat de crème brulee aan tafel werd gekarameliseerd. Echt niets meer dan lof voor de prachtige sfeer, het heerlijke eten en de fantastische bediening! Wij komen terug!

Eating out at Kir Royal in Borne. Heard a lot about it. Busy and dark atmosphere, friendly staff, (too) fast service. Asked too often if we wanted something to drink, as many as 5 times while the glasses on the table were still full. Nice menu and delicious food, great! Dessert is desserts, little choice in terms of ice cream. Downside was the Irish coffee in a wine glass? Without a nice dollop of whipped cream... such a shame. Received a small dollop of whipped cream from the kitchen, excellent service. At Kir Royal the Irish coffee is simply different, even though you wouldn't expect it there.

We had dinner here tonight. 10/10 points. Parking large space, entering, staff, sandwich in advance, wine is poured, the food and the high tables at the bar. The oysters as a starter were really not tasty together with the super large carpaccio with toast shared together. TRUFFLE TERIYAKI STEAK: spicy sirloin steak extinguished with teriyaki-truffle sauce, topped with sriracha mayonnaise, spring onion and roasted nuts on oriental vegetables. I wanted another one so delicious!! Added truffle fries, delicious, but unnecessary because it was really enough all together. Rounded off with a cappucino and mint tea.

Vanavond een geweldige beleving gehad van hoe je heerlijk kunt eten, de tijd voor je genomen wordt en je er even helemaal tussenuit bent. Gerechten waren top, sfeer was ontspannen. Zeker de moeite waard om een bezoekje te brengen!

KIR diner x bar is open 7 days a week and it is always pleasantly busy. The ambiance is attractive and informal. No stiff stuff. We enjoyed our visit again. KIR has a varied menu, so everyone can find something tasty. Assertive young service makes the evening pleasant.

KIR diner x bar is 7 dagen per week geopend en het is er altijd gezellig druk. De ambiance is sfeervol en informeel. Geen stijf gebeuren. We hebben wederom genoten van ons bezoek. KIR heeft een gevarieerde kaart, dus iedereen kan wel iets lekkers vinden. Assertieve jonge bediening maakt de avond aangenaam.
