A small, cozy bakery, you can find anything you want, from sweet to savory. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's especially a good choice for breakfast.

Since Kiss Bakery opened their shop on the Gedempte Gracht, this is my favorite bakery! I have been coming to their main branch for a while, but this is around the corner and the bread is really delicious, not too sticky or factory bread-like, not too heavy, just right. I am also a fan of the white buns, currant buns etc. Cookies are also great by the way ;) The shop is informal, sometimes very busy around lunch, but otherwise just friendly and... usually at the end of the day there is still something for sale, which is also nice!

The bread is very good but the service is not. If you don't want people taking the bread, then create a counter area. And let people know how to queue. Had to argue with an employee and a customer for my order in the line...ruined the experience. Unnecessary if there was better organization and staff training. The owner is very nice but some changes are needed.

Fantastic bread, friendly and helpful service and fair prices. The ciabattas are crunchy, the raisin bread is great and they have a wide selection of wholemeal breads. Really a great place.

Excellent Bakery on the main street of Zaandam. We tried both the sweet and savory dishes and it was all delicious. On average we always spent around 5 euros, buying at least 3-4 products. Courteous and welcoming staff.

It was lunchtime on a Friday, and there were about 10 people lined up outside the restaurant, making it very popular. The hot hummus sandwich was especially delicious. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very nice and nice.

Really gross. They put sandwiches from the floor back with the rest of the sandwiches... and grab everything by hand after touching the cash register. Last time kiss bakery for me.

Went there for the first time today, normally I always skip Zaandam. Then I walked past the Kiss Backery. After looking inside, I stepped inside. And gosh, it smells good there. The employees are very friendly and ready to help you. It is not a self-service, but I really like that. Once you have made a choice, they ask if you want the sandwich warmed up. I had the croque monsieur with ham. Never had it in my life, but it was delicious many times. The cheese in the bun was melted just right. I would travel to Zaandam purely for the Backery kiss😋. Prices are also very good. I think 3.95 is not too bad, especially because it is freshly prepared. Toppers ✨.

Products that are only fresh for a day. It sounds strange nowadays, but that's exactly what I was looking for and what a person needs. The delicious focaccia sandwich was unsurpassed. Fresh, large, richly filled and quality. And that for just 4 euros. The staff serves you and is friendly. The atmosphere is very different from supermarkets, bakeries or sandwich shops. KISS bakery is really great and hopefully it will continue to exist in the center for a long time.

All the bread is delicious, without a doubt, the best thing we ate in Zaandam and at a very good price, a plus, the staff is very good with foreigners, I loved it!

So, since I moved to Zaandam 2 months ago, I have been there already 3 or 4 times. Always had the best experience here. Delicious food, super friendly assistants. But today was different. The lady in her 40sh I guess, pretends that she doesn't understand English. As my Dutch is quite poor now, I mixed it with English. Sure, she has her right, she's not obligated to speak or understand English. However, I felt unwelcome, that's sad as it's an amazing place, but I don't feel like coming back

They have a delicious hummus sandwich

A space where the production of what is sold in its premises is visible. Various breads, croissants, cookies...everything looks appetizing. But the detail is that the girl who served us placed what we bought (ham and cheese cake) with her hands in a bag without using gloves or clamps and she herself took the money with what we paid the same in her hands. This seemed very serious to me. And everything is displayed without covering or behind display cases, people come and go, no one can touch the products but it doesn't seem hygienic to me. I don't know if that is normal, but as a tourist I must mention this detail that I really dislike. I always respect the customs of other countries, but hygiene should be a classic anywhere in the world.

We(tourists) went almost during closing time but the 2 men there were friendly and greeted us promptly. The younger gentleman helping us with our order didn’t rush us and allowed us to take our time to choose and take away our order. We really appreciate the patience. The bakes are super delicious! Will definitely drop by again before we leave Zaandam. Thank you!

There are very nice croissants. There is a long bread with cheese. There are sweet cookies and snacks. You can have a nice breakfast with coffee.

DAYUMMMM These cakes here are lovely and cheap like a mothertrucker. Very easy to get to Qpark is about a 2min walk away from it.

Delicious taarts. Smelled amazing inside. Friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable prices (1 chocolate cake, 1 strawberry tart, 2 mini strawberry tarts, and 1 loaf of bread for €18 😋). We absolutely will visit again!!!
