The woman with dark hair and a tattooed leg greeted us in a bad mood and ignored us for a good 30 minutes — didn't even bring drinks to the table. The food was okay. But you know what you're getting into. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Understaffed probably, overal good vibe but it is not what it was before. 17 euro for a beef tartar which was such a little portion. The cheese used for the pasta and pizza were badly grated, overall the food was really dissapointing, for a 20 euro pizza you expect better. The pasta’s were also badly cooked overall, actually bad.

A pleasant spot with a great atmosphere. Most of the pizzas we tried were really good, and overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Love the house made pumpkin ravioli! Everything is prepared fresh, and you can taste the difference from manufactured pasta. Bread with oil and sea salt is delicious! I always get lovely service and great food. Thank you for all the wonderful dinners!!

It took more than an hour to get our pizzas. Waitres had no idea about the food when we asked her questions. We were offered complementary drinks because of the delay, which never came. We had to ask two more times for those drinks. When finally pizza came it was an average pizza, nothing special. At the end the waiters spilled beer on me. So my advice is, don’t go there!

Nice romantic atmosphere for dinner

Lovely place! We tried the pizza which was absolutely delicious and some really nice white wine. The terrace was beautiful and gives chill summer vibes. Another plus is that later at night there was a dj set and became more like a bar.

The host with the black hair shouldn’t be working in hospitality she was extremely rude and gave us a very hard time about ordering pizzas because we didn’t make the right booking. We were a big group willing to give the restaurant business and she made it extremely difficult by telling us we’d throw off the kitchen schedule. We were there at 5-6pm not even peak dinner time. Who does this? It’s a restaurant. It felt like we were begging to order pizzas acting as if they were free. Just truly terrible customer service. I hope she finds a job that suits her

Had a good meal. Had good drinks. The price was okay. The only thing that could have been better were the photos on Google Maps, which were from an older location, causing expectations to be different.

Pizza was pretty good considering getting delivery is much more expensive in other places. Fresh pizza, quick to the table even with a full house. Panna cotta dessert was amazing. If you want to hang out with your friends in a loud bar setting, but with great pizza: this is it.

Nice people, mega good music played from LPs by a DJ, the food is delicious, and the orange wine is also highly recommended! 10/10.

As for the food, it is a joke. Half a cauliflower for 14.50. Why? However, the atmosphere is good and the service is fine.

Bad service…. We arrived at 9:30 and they refused to serve us even though they close at 1 am.

Waited for almost 30 minutes, no one offered a drink, let alone food. We tried talking to the staff, asking when it would be possible to make an order, were completely ignored…

The pasta here is great. Def get the Pork Cheek ragu. Their wine is nice but nothing too crazy. Pizza is better at speciality places. It’s overall a very lovely vibe, and you def get value for the money. It’s not expensive at all. Great for bigger groups. After 19 it’s also free parking! Highly recommend

As a starter, we ordered bread, among other things. Unfortunately, we only received four slices of pre-cut baguette, which were already quite thick. That was a real shame. Especially with such a large pizza oven at our disposal, we had hoped for a nice, fresh, warm, baked focaccia bread or something similar. This felt more like a Jumbo-style roll than a restaurant-worthy start to the evening. The pizza selection wasn't huge either. There weren't any real classics to choose from. If you choose to offer only more unusual flavors, I think you should explore and surprise more in terms of taste sensations. Both pizzas were fine, but we certainly weren't blown away. All in all, unfortunately, not the experience we were hoping for, and we'll choose a different place next time.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a host who was behind the bar. He showed us to our table and was quite friendly. The waiter for our table was not rude, but not friendly either. We started with bread and olive oil- 9/10. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft as a cloud ok the inside. We ordered two pizzas- one classic and one Bianco. The classic pizza was the nduja one- 7/10. The sauce and the cheese were amazing (but there were only 5 tiny pieces of nduja), but the dough really needs work. Was quite crispy and consequently a bit burnt. The Bianco pizza was with pistachio, Mortadella, and straciatella-8/10. The ingrédients really played well together, with all of them being the right quantity. The dough had the same story as the Nduja one. In general, the dough wasn't fluffy enough for napoletana pizza and the crust wasn't inflated. I am assuming this is because the dough is not allowed to rest long enough. One of us wasn't drinking so we didn't ask for the enthusiast wine menu. The BTG selection of wines was laughable. I would especially stay away from the Nero D'avola. The wine was acidic to a fault. And the biggest faux pas- tiny, thick wine glasses. It's is just not imaginable to drink a red wine from such a glass. The sound level in the dining area was quite disturbing as well. The music was too loud, and since they have high ceilings, the ambient noise of other guests was too loud. They did their best to dampen the sound by having acoustic dampeners under the table, but it's not enough. Even talking across the table, we always had to lean in.

Klaproos is the best pizza place in Noord — we’ve been regulars for 5 years and keep coming back for a reason. The Cicciolina pizza is perfection: rich, balanced, and full of flavor. And the truffle pizza is a must — aromatic, indulgent, and done just right. Consistently excellent pizza, great ingredients, and a place we truly trust. Absolute favorite 🍕✨

It's a pretty basic place; the staff is helpful, but a smile is hard to come by (quite distant). The location is large, so when it's quiet, it's cold and sterile. Aranchina was delicious. One pizza was better than the other; the dough was very good, but the ingredients were lacking and could have been of a higher quality or more flavorful.

Really nice location, not amazing pizza, but ok for Amsterdam. Unfortunately I didn't like the service (except from a guy more experienced). The girl that served us wasn't professional, she forgot 2 of the 3 things that we asked for. I won't go there a second time.

You would have to be CRAZY not to come try this pizza, the dishes for each meal were SO clean - I could see myself in the cutlery. Kitchen staff are incredibly talented, cocktails fantastic. The waiter had incredible dexterity. I’ve never seen anything like it. There is nothing like having a waiter serving you off plates this clean. I’m speechless. Amazing. Great vibes. Go here.

What terrible service... they don't answer the phones. You walk in to order a pizza to take away. They don't even look at you when you walk in. After a long wait, they finally notice you're there, and you have to wait at least an hour for your pizza. They don't even say it in a friendly way, but basically, "We don't have time for you, so you better leave." Not at all customer-friendly. We've eaten here before. We're skipping this place, despite the delicious pizzas we've had.

This is an authentic restaurant. Good ingredients and a great chef. The result is simply perfect.

Klaproos was suggested to me by a local friend so we went tonight and had a lovely time. We sat outside and there was enough breeze to fight off the hot weather.

It’s okay, very questionable caramelized onion on pizza. It’s spacious and has nice terrace, but cracked and dirty tables.

I’ve been quite a few times and always had great food and service however after this week I’m not sure I’ll be going back. The staff are clearly overworked and because of that we’re very snappy at us or we got ignored!We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and then another 15 at the table for menus (note we had a reservation and our table was free & clean.) The food took a while to come which was fine but the quality just doesn’t seem as good as before. Perhaps they need to reduce the bookings to get back to how it was.

Ate here again last week, beautiful summer weather, so this time outside in the garden. Very good atmosphere, nice service and really delicious food. We chose the three different ravioli's, one even tastier than the other. Starters also great! Had a great evening, in short: recommended!

Cute outside area, food looks pretty but it is quite tasteless. The pizzas lacked flavour, the salad and ravioli fritto honestly were a joke, but the pasta was good. The service is really bad. The stuff are nice but we had to wait for everything: the menus, the water, to be reseated. Everything we asked for was forgotten by the stuff and we were ignored until we reached out again and again.

Hospitality at its best. Lovely welcome, really good food, good wine. It was a great evening, also because of the lovely vibe in the restaurant.

The staff (girls mostly) are rude and impolite. When the food is an hour late don’t give me attitude when I ask you about it. Also when we finish eating everything and drinks did not arrive, also don’t give me attitude when I ask about it. I ask politely and expect a mature response and not eye rolling! Simple right? 😉

Been twice now with my boyfriend :) The first time I enjoyed the burrata with tomato and basil oil, which I think is unfortunately no longer on the menu, and tagliatelle al ragu The second time we had the tartare di Manzo as a starter and as a main course I had the lucifera pizza and both were delicious. We will definitely come back again :)

We had the Lucifera - spicy salami/nduja, and the cicciolina - gorgonzola, walnut. Both delicious. Waiter super friendly and gave good wine recommendations. Definately worth checking out. No gluten free option for the pizza at present.

I've been here in Amsterdam since Sunday and for the last night I chose this Pizzeria Restaurant near my apartment, what can I say!!! What a surprise!! one of the best pizzas I've eaten in recent years, the truth!! it far surpasses many pizzerias in Italy, Alex told us that they use the best ingredients and that the dough remains leavening for 3 days, perhaps this is the secret, very light, a real goodness, I recommend the Norma pizza, an obligatory stop on my return here to Amsterdam!!

I arrived 3 days ago but it's the first time I eat very well like at home! Very good pizza, light and crispy. The staff is very kind, I recommend it to everyone!!!! I will definitely come back!!!!!

On Sunday night there was a party: music was so loud you couldn't hear anyone. We left immediately. It would have been nice if there had been communication in advance when making the reservation, because then we would have gone on another day.

Very good pizza but I dont what to say about the area

The atmosphere was great, with a lovely vibe that made for an enjoyable setting. However, the food didn’t quite match the ambiance. The four of us each ordered different pasta dishes, but only one really stood out, while the others lacked flavor. To top it off, dessert took waay too long to arrive, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a nice place to visit for the ambiance, but the food and service could use some improvevement

Fantastic ragu pasta and service!

A spectacular atmosphere that makes the experience very pleasant. The pizzas were good, although we have tried some better ones. The service, although somewhat slow due to the large influx of people, was very friendly and attentive. It is recommended to reserve in advance to avoid waiting. Overall, a perfect place to enjoy good food and drinks in pleasant surroundings.

It was cold when we came in at 6am. The red wine was also quite cold but perhaps you drink the Puglia at best cold as a white wine. The appetizers were nice and delicious. We had two types of pizzas: good and tasty (chili), but the marinada with pesto was lukewarm to cold. According to the kitchen, this was due to the topping. So not nice. A new pizza was offered. Unfortunately, espresso was also not available hot. We had a nice time but we are looking forward to better temperatures for De Klaproos.

With a group of 8 people we ate with a set menu because of the large group. Food preferences were asked in advance, when serving the food everything was put on the table without explaining what the people with a food preference could or could not eat. At first there was nothing that 1 person could eat, only after the staff was informed something special was made for her. Desserts were agreed upon in advance by email. When we were allowed to choose a dessert, 1 dessert suddenly was no longer on the menu. After asking, this was still possible. When paying, the price of the menu, which had been agreed upon in advance per email, was suddenly more expensive. The explanation was 'it has become more expensive'. The waitress had to ask again and eventually I got part of my money back. The interior and the place are nice, but this experience detracts from the nice concept, unfortunately.

A delicious Italian restaurant in an attractive warehouse. Eating by candlelight. They have a compact map. But what is on it is very good. Service is very friendly. No long waiting times for orders.

Really great pizza in noord. Staff were nice and the atmosphere was busy and lovely. The space is huge but really cosy.

Nice restaurant with cosy ambience. The staff were friendly and were very attentive to always make sure we had water on the table. The pizzas and the dough tasted great! I do not recommend their "salad" which although tasted good is composed of 5 asparagus stalks, a couple of green beans and a handful green leaves for 7 euros. Outrageous to be honest.

We came here with 70+ guests for a work conference, we had a nice set up of tables upstairs, service was great, food was AMAZING and brought in time, all whilst the restaurant had more guests downstairs. 10/10 can recommend and thank you team Klaproos for the great experience!

Such a delicious meal here! It has been on my list for some time and is definitely a place to come back to. Such a cozy, friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious! I will 100% go back, especially for the pasta with fennel sausage. The pizza with mortadella was also very tasty! Friendly staff. In terms of price, you can also make it as crazy as you want.

Food and ambiance special. Deviates from a standard Italian restaurant. Service left a lot to be desired. Repeatedly placed an order that was not delivered and when asked, the answer was that it was on its way. Ultimately not received and included in the invoice. In short, Poppy, my evening with you ended in chaos.
