Our best pizza destination in Amsterdam!! Feels like being in Italy, but with way more personalised service and great experience! On birthday they even served us with two very delicious tiramisus. Love this place and people who work there.

The food and beer were really good and the waiters are quick and nice.

Best wood oven pizzas in town!!

We were given the wrong pizzas not once, but twice! Unfortunately, this meant we ended up overpaying for less than what we ordered. The whole experience was frustrating and poorly handled. If you’re planning to pick up your order here, make sure to double-check (or even triple-check) your pizzas before leaving. Everyone makes mistakes, but repeating the same error twice is unacceptable.

Taste is the food is so so, not bad but also not one to come back for unfortunatelly. I guess there has been a change in the ownership since I cannot see why the restaurant has a 4,6 star review. Staff is nice and friendly and like any other restaurant the place is understaffed making the waiting time for the food really long (30 min for a buratta and carpaccio) and somehow same time for the pizza. Desert was fast though. Food looked amazing, however the pizza dough wasnt it. Not fluffy but flat new york pizza like dough. Think they can do so much better.

Don't hesitate, sit down straight away. Delicious bruschetta's and the Diavola pizza and the special (super spicy) are worth a detour. The Brazilian boy/man serving is really super hospitable and deserves a 10.

Busy night, the restaurant was packed, and we got excellent service and food. I had tasty and just enough spocy diavola, and my wife had margarita. We even got offered limoncellos after having to eait, but tbh we were quite happy how fast everything went even if the place was packed all the way outside. Staff was great and positive, even if it was a jam-packed dinner. The location is also amazing. In the same crossroad, you can enjoy the best pizza, best wine, and best gelato of the city. Lots of locals = good food. It's definitely worth the visit.

Went to eat pizza but unfortunately could not do so! So the rating is based on not being served. When we arrived, we looked for a seating outside and since there was not, we asked the waiter if we can sit if we see an empty space. He replied with maybe come later like half an hour as it is too busy so it might take a while. But bear in mind we went there around 9 and Google says the place closes at 10. Anyways, while my husband was talking to the waiter, a group of people left their table so we were able to sit. After my husband told the waiter that we found a table, he again said that it is busy and reiterated that it might take longer. This is understandable to an extent however after we sat no one came to take our order for a long time and we decided to leave as we were too hungry to deal with this at that point! Shame that we couldn’t try their pizza and my rating is based on poor service but employees represent the restaurant and unfortunately this was a poor interaction on their end.

We had dinner with Alessandro and Enrico this evening as a family with the children. Nice place with the possibility of dining both inside and outside. Even if it is not the classic Neapolitan because it is thinner and crunchier, very good wood-fired pizza appreciated by all. Above all, the quality products used are excellent, like those of the best Italian pizzerias! Highly recommended!

The restaurant itself can't do much about it, but if I spend 40 euros on pizza, I don't expect you to deliver it like that.... Really scandalous

Food is just average. I would not say it’s bad but I do not have Idea that is good. It’s just fine …. If I don’t got their with social deal promotion, I would say their food complies with the value of the price on the menu….. Anyway, no revisit.

Definitely a must to try pizza in the heart of Amsterdam. Their “Funghi and Tartufo” pizza is just out of this world. Amazing atmosphere and super friendly staff, we’ll come back for sure to try out other pizzas

Great food and service! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Maybe a little more decoration outside on the terrace to make it a little more cozy would elevate the space even more. Great experience and would definitely recommend.

Super tasty traditional pizza made in thr place by Italian. Autentic flavor and good quality. The place was always full and small. So we always take away.

Located down the block from our air bnb. Recommended by our host and very happy we stopped in to try it. Very friendly and engaging staff. It was a windy evening so we ate indoors which was very cozy and comfortable. All the food, drinks, and desserts were delicious. With the bartenders recommendation I tried one of the best beers I have had so far during our visit. Would recommending stopping in to give them a try if you are in the area. If you are not in the area I would recommend you fix that issue and stop in just the same.

It's pretty good, wood fired pizza. They had gluten-free options as well. Three beers on draft. They had to keep the door open because of the smoke from the wood fired oven. If you get cold easily like my mom, wear a coat. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about what they served

The staff was welcoming to us and complied with our every request. What can I say, when I return to Amsterdam I will definitely return to DE PIZZA KAMER.

Utterly disappointed. This restaurant used to be my one of favourite pizza places in Amsterdam for a very long time. I came back yesterday and was barely considered by the staff. I understand that it was busy but no one cared about my friend and I for a very long time; all the people who arrived after us got the menu and got served way before us. On top of that, the vegetarian pizza isn’t as good as it used to be. There was barely any cheese 😭, I remember there was much more goat and mozzarella cheese before.

Great food and a beautiful location next to the orange church in De Pijp. We were helped very kindly by an Italian lady who tried to speak Dutch, very nice and attentive and therefore makes the evening even more fun. We will definitely come back again ❤️

Have eaten here twice now in recent months. Pizza is delicious, cooked the traditional way, the taste put a smile on my Italian partner, which should say a lot! Friendly & helpful staff also! I would consider booking a table in advance!

First of all, I want to start by saying that I totally understand the restaurant was packed and the waitress was overworked. However, I ordered a glutenfree margarita pizza and it was not good. It was thick and a little soggy, the cheese didn’t taste good. I checked if it was vegan cheese and was assured it wasn’t. After eating I double checked cuz the cheese was like jelly and it turned out to be vegan. In the end it wasn’t disastrous because it was a nut free vegan cheese, but a lot of them have nuts in them. So, I felt a little scared because of my allergy. The waitress told me it wouldn’t happen next time and didn’t offer any discounts or anything. So, I don’t feel like coming back here. Also, the music was way too clubby and ventilation was bad so my family and I had lack of oxygen😬. It was cozy though.

Great place for a drink (or two), a pizza and a good coffee. Pizza’s are like they should be. Welcoming and talented staff. Hence 5 stars for service. Well done girls and boys! This was one of the best handmade pizzas I have had ANYWHERE in the world. I was here for a business trip and had a craving for pizza. This place did not disappoint. Pizzas are all made from scratch by hand. It was absolutely delicious. Hope I can get back there soon.

Ordered the Diavola with mushrooms, it took forever to come out it seems they were harvesting the mushrooms from the forest but boy was it worth the wait! The pizza very crispy and Thin! The sauce … brought me back to Brooklyn NY pizza. I didn’t think I could taste something like home that wasn’t in Italy. Hands down best pizza place in Amsterdam without question.

So glad we dined at De Pizzakamer while visiting Amsterdam. It is pizza done right - soft delicous dough with a well balanced sauce and high quality toppings. It is one for the memory books. I'd be here all the time if I lived here. Staff was super friendly and kind. The host popped outside to give me and my sister roses while we waited for a car. Oh and the cocktails were 5 stars!

Really good pizza. Edit December: I don't know what happened to this place, it used to be amazing for pizza, but now in December the service was bad, menu looked like it's been chewed on by a dog, it took an hour to get the pizza with the restaurant not even full without even an apology despite us asking about it 20min prior and the pizza dough was not the same quality.

I have been coming here for many years and have had a delicious meal, a burrito beforehand and a delicious pizza 👍

Found the place by chance! Super nice discovery!! The waiter suggested us the pizzas according to our tastes and he nailed it. Pizzas were bloody delicious! We had the pizza of the day and Margherita verace with bufala mozzarella. The dough wasn’t heavy and ingredients were really good. I’ll definitely come back!

Helaas leek het alsof de bediening er niet heel veel zin in had op de avond dat wij er waren. We moesten ruim een uur wachten op ons voorgerecht. Uiteindelijk kwam de aap uit de mouw: ze waren het bonnetje verloren. Kan gebeuren natuurlijk, maar er mag toch wel iets meer compassie bij zo'n boodschap. Het leek de bediening niet zo veel te interesseren in ieder geval. Het voorgerecht viel ook ietwat tegen (bruschetta op een getoast broodje met tomaten, zonder iets van knoflook oid - een beetje saai en vlak qua smaak). Daarentegen moet ik zeggen dat de pizza's die we later kregen echt ontzettend lekker waren. Hetzelde geldt voor het dessert later die avond. Al met al hebben we toch gezellig en lekker gegeten, maar er zijn wel een aantal feedback puntjes.

Very, very tasty pizzas. Exceptionally friendly staff. Owner and pizzamaker, using renewable and tendentially carbon neutral wood energy conversion, sets the pace for a most pleasant atmosphere. The close proximity with an almost Italian ice cream maker sets a great closure to an overall great experience.

Jammer, de naam is nog hetzelfde, maar het menu is veranderd en het team ook. De lasagne en melanzane (twee toppers) staan niet meer op de kaart. Het is nu gewoon een middelmatige pizzeria.

A quel pas de notre hôtel, nous partons diner dans cette pizzéria, heureusement une table vient de se libérer car nous n'avions pas réservés. Équipe souriante, pizza excellente et lasagne généreuse. Merci pour ce bon diner.
