We have been coming for a cup of coffee every Saturday morning for years. Cozy, old-fashioned cafe. Friendly service, delicious coffee, and of course... the locally world-famous apple pie.

The apple pie crust is far too sweet (!). As a result, you start to put off eating it all. The whipped cream, however, is good.

Delft at its best. A household name in Delft's hospitality industry. Famous for its apple pie. Known for the sayings on the chalkboard at the entrance. The menu is sufficient for a good lunch. Everything is fresh and looks delicious. We haven't lived in Delft for a while now, but we love coming to Kobus when we're in Delft. 👍👍👍

Lots of seating. Although an internet review said their Dutch apple pie was the best I went with the authentic Dutch butter cake which was fabulous.

I had apple tart and mint tea. The apple tart was delicious. The mint tea had whole mint leaves in it, and it was refreshing and paired perfectly with the apple tart. It was also helpful that it was easy to go there alone.

Apple pie was perfect! So much cream, yummy! And i also drank caramel latte, it was sweet but a little bit cold.

Of course, I ordered the warm apple pie with fresh whipped cream again. Always great. The beer selection afterward, too, by the way. 😉

A must stop for afternoon apple tart and drinks. Cozy local cafe with friendly waiters. The pie was warm had plenty of thinly shaved apples with raisins and nuts. The crust was perfect. Plenty of cream topping.This was obviously a homemade recipe. There is none better in Holland and that includes those renowned from AMS. It’s also a great place to unwind and enjoy the culture. I’d love to go back!

A typical student pub in a great university town. They've managed to maintain the atmosphere since the 90s or even longer, despite renovations in between. Best apple cider in town!

The apple tart is delicious. It is moderately sweet and has a nice crunch from the nuts. The whipped cream is also moderately sweet and light.

Delicious breakfast, with a perfect cappuccino and delicious apple pie. The place has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and on a nice day, it's also very nice outside!

I dragged four of us here as I had been told it was the best apple pie. We ordered some beer, cappuccino, Caesar salads, tomato soup and quesadillas. All of these were delish with fresh ingredients. We topped it off with two pieces of pie with whipped cream-of course! The crust was crunchy, the pie was warm and the flavor was lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside and watched life go by. The total bill was €88.

Everything was great! Delicious tacos with salsa, etc. Regarding the Aperol Spritz, I have to say it was barely any Aperol for €9. At that price, the Aperol Spritz should be a bit redder. Maybe it was a mistake 😔 But otherwise, everything was great, nice place.

I've eaten many apple cakes with cream in my life. But this one is truly a delight: the cake is pleasantly warm, and the interplay of sweetness, acidity, spices, and the very creamy, sweet cream is heavenly.

We only ate the apple pie and had a drink. After the apple pie, you are really full, and the homemade whipped cream means whipped cream until the last bite. They certainly don't skimp here. Delicious.

The food is really delicious and the place is very nice; but getting annoyed because of waiting for a long time to get your food and it’s a lot of noise because of crowd… still worth to wait though :)

We had lunch on Saturday afternoon at this crowded but cozy cafe. The pulled pork sandwich was absolutely perfect! We ended up spending €60 for 3 lunches, 2 coffees, and 4 teas.

Delicious apple pie. Make sure it has hazelnuts! It's cozy with real candles on the table. But due to limited space, be careful with children and coats. There's a shelf with games and newspapers to read. A lovely place to relax.

Popped in for coffee and cake, although after seeing their beer selection I wish I didn't have to drive back to our accommodation. The apple cake we had was baked that morning and was amazing, and the coffee was good and strong. Board games and cards etc were available for those that wanted them too.

Shrinkflation has hit here too. Apple pies have shrunk considerably, and in winter, you're stuck outside in the freezing cold because there's no room inside. No, unfortunately, the fun is gone for me. Combined with the ever-rising prices, I'm skipping Kobus for now. Too bad. I've enjoyed going there for over 12 years.

got the apple pie and caramel latte, both of which were incredible!! the apple pie especially was so tasty. they really don’t hold back on the whipped cream here and i’m so grateful for that 🙂‍↕️ the vibe of the place was also so nice. very cosy. was able to get a seat inside right away, but there was also plenty of outdoor seating available too since it was a warmer february day.

The apple tart is good! You must have it with cream. It’s like the one from Winkel 43 in Amsterdam, both are delicious. The atmosphere in the bar is amazing, warm, chilled, and I can imagine it would become energetic in the evening.

Great beers,apple pie, and blondie. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. We sat outside when it was raining in the evening, but there were heaters and blankets that made us really comfortable and warm. :)

Wonderful shop!!!! Warm atmosphere, impeccable service, delicious apple pie (the best I've had in the Netherlands), beautiful surroundings! The employees are kind and helpful! I forgot a bag full of gifts and they delivered it to me the next day. I don't think I'll go to another shop when I visit Delft again.

It remains one of the best spots in Delft over the years. They've updated the menu, but thankfully, they've always kept the classics. They have the best apple pie in town, which tastes delicious with a Ruby Port. On Saturdays, don't miss the cherry chocolate cake—it's simply delicious. The other snacks and drinks are also top-notch; it's always a pleasant place for a bite to eat or a drink.

The Apple Pie 🥧 is absolutely 💯 👌 amazing 👏 👍 and the remaining menu is also worth giving it a try. Very cosy atmosphere and friendly staff members. Good range of seatings are available between outdoor areas and indoor seating. Very good and rare collection of some of the old vintage logos. Also it's now a great memorable place for me, where I meet my pen pal for the first time in person 😀 thank you.

Food was great. Only thing is caramelized onions were still crunchy, but thats a tiny issue. When i told them my bf never tried Jenever asking which they recommend, they poured us some to try, which feels generous as a gesture. Very nice people, great service!

I don't think there is a place in Delft where one won't want to go out and have a bite or just a drink with friends (or by themselves). Kobus Kuch is one of the few pubs/restaurants that share the largest plaza (fun fact: it used to be a cattle auction space, back in the day) in Delft, close to the New Church (fun fact: you know you're in Europe when "new" refers to a church built in 1381!) Maybe not as intimate as other places by one of the canals (aka "gracht"), but definitely as full of life, laughter, and light.

A friend recommended that we tried their cheese and ham tostie, and their apple pie with cream. The tostie was excellent and the apple pie was incredible!

Absolutely delicious apple pie. A small drawback is the somewhat rushed service (sometimes they can't help it when it's very busy, and finding enough staff can be difficult, I understand). The coffee was fine, but nothing special.

At Kobus Kuch, you'll find the best apple taart in the world! With the addition of whipped cream, it's pure poetry. When I lived in Delft, I visited this place on average twice a month. A must-see when visiting this wonderful town.

Kobus has become so expensive in just a year... It hasn't stopped me completely, but I'm thinking about it three times... which makes me enjoy the apple pie even more.

We had to sit inside because all the outdoor tables were full. It was actually very pleasant sat by a window looking out and the interior is very characterfull so it actually worked out better! The added bonus was we were not bothered by wasps. The apple pie and double coffee were great. We chose to have our pie with the cream - I think it would be too dry without. Very tasty, deep filling with nice cinnamon flavour. One of the best we tasted although to be honest all the apple pies we have tried in the Netherlands have been good. I recommend Korbus Kuch and would happily return and try one of the beers, and more pie of course!

We were seated outside in a large square. The atmosphere was very cozy. The service was good and quite prompt. The food was great! Exactly what you'd expect on your first night of vacation. The apple pie, in particular, was amazing!

We made a reservation for 15 people to celebrate our bachelor's degree. We also mentioned that we were coming specifically for the apple pie. Upon arrival, it turned out that "our pie" and seating had been given away to another group. Very disappointing, and on top of that, no solution was offered, and the waitress reacted extremely rudely as if it were our fault. You left a terrible aftertaste in our festive occasion.

This is a place where you can spend 2 hours just to talk with your colleagues. They serve a fulfilling apple pie, and the place is so cozy.
