De rijsttafels zijn erg lekker. Alle gerechten zijn uniek en speciaal gekruid. De bediening is ook heel goed. De adviezen van de kok zijn perfect, bijvoorbeeld de Pisang Bakar. Hier kun je echt lekker eten!

Bij binnenkomst wordt je vriendelijk ontvangen en ligt er al een schaaltje kroepoek met sambal klaar. Wij hadden vervolgens een kan sangria met ons 2 gedeeld en heerlijk rijstmenu gegeten. Wij komen zeker terug

Heel vaak worden restaurants waarin meerdere Aziatische keukens samenkomen een soort fusion stamppot. Dit restaurant slaagt erin om authentieke smaken te serveren, of het nu Thais, Indonesisch of Indiaas is. Bijna alles wordt zelfgemaakt, met de juiste verse ingrediënten. En dat proef je al bij binnenkomst, als je kroepoek met de eigengemaakte sambal krijgt - daar zit veel liefde in. Zo’n potje met veel liefde kan je ook kopen en mee naar huis nemen.

No wonder that this has the Trip Advisor rating that it has, my wife and I have just eaten here and it was definitely the best meal that we have had in our week in Valkenburg. Service was excellent and food first class. Keep up the good work.

Before the "renovation" (no idea what has been renovated), we had an excellent meal with 4 people from delicious recipes. Today the starters were again surprising, but the main course was very disappointing. Ordered a dish with salmon that I think came straight from the Aldi freezer section. Watery mess. Unfortunately this was the last time. It would be nice to be able to pay €100.

Just had a delicious meal here, spontaneous idea. Friendly service, the food was delicious and delicious to eat with your hands. Nice layout and a nice warm terrace. Immediately bring 2 jars of homemade sambal. The only thing that could possibly change is a little more spicy. (My tastes.). Top tent

A nice spot in the heart of Valkenburg. We received a friendly welcome and were helped promptly. The croquettes & fried avocado in the starter were very tasty and highly recommended, I thought the fried scampi and chicken drumsticks were more filling but certainly not bad either. When our starter was finished, we were asked if we could switch immediately to the main course or if we would rather wait a while. I thought it was great that this was asked! We decided to give up our starter for a while and after a good 10-15 minutes our main courses arrived, which we thought was perfect timing. Our main courses were certainly good. No more and no less. Well-prepared portions & good use of seasoning. We decided to end this pleasant evening after the main course. Prices were good and so were the food and drinks. Very friendly and correct staff.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing meal here. The food was incredible and authentic. I did not expect to find amazing Thai/Indonesian fusion in Valkanburg Netherlands but we did. The chicken satay is incredible, the short ribs are awesome, the tandoori chicken wings are delicious. Everything was homemade. The owner was cooking, and waiting tables and spent some time speaking with us about his restaurant background and his passion for cooking. As the night went on he turned on karaoke and the remaining dinner guests turned into an after hours karaoke party. Absolutely incredible experience. I sincerely hope I can come back here someday.

Al diverse keren hier voorbij gekomen. Koco Bistro in Valkenburg. Voor ons het favoriete Indonesisch restaurant. Hier weten ze precies hoe het hoort. Het begint al bij binnenkomst. In één woord: super ! Supervriendelijk team wat hier aan het werk is. Ook het eten was perfect, vanaf het voorgerecht enorm genoten van wat er hier geserveerd werd. Eten werd netjes opgediend en was erg smaakvol, wat tegenwoordig helaas ook niet overal het geval is. De soto ayam, de saté, kip cashew, gado gado, cendol, alles maar dan ook echt alles klopte. We verheugen ons nu al op het volgende bezoekje. 👍🏻

Passed by here several times. Koco Bistro in Valkenburg. Our favorite Indonesian restaurant. Here they know exactly how it should be done. It starts upon arrival. In one word: great! Super friendly team working here. The food was also perfect, from the starter I really enjoyed what was served here. Food was neatly served and very tasty, which is unfortunately not the case everywhere these days. The soto ayam, the satay, cashew chicken, cendol, everything was delicious. We are already looking forward to the next visit. 👍🏻

Chose this restaurant based on google reviews when on the road passing through and it didn’t disappoint. Food was good and service was very friendly. The only complaint I have is that every time the doors opens, and that’s very frequently, an ice cold wind blows through the restaurant. I understand, it’s January 18, it’s cold, but at least hang something like a thick curtain ! Thanks

What a wonderful experience at Koco Bistro! From the moment we walked in we felt more than welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you really feel at home. And then the food... wow! Every dish was a taste sensation, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. It is clear that cooking here is done with passion and love. From starter to dessert, everything was delicious. We will definitely come back here again. Koco Bistro is definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys delicious food and a nice, hospitable atmosphere. 5 stars more than deserved!

Wat een geweldige ervaring bij Koco Bistro! Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen, voelden we ons meer dan welkom. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en attent, waardoor je je echt thuis voelt. En dan het eten... wow! Elk gerecht was een smaaksensatie, perfect bereid en prachtig gepresenteerd. Het is duidelijk dat hier met passie en liefde wordt gekookt. Van voorgerecht tot dessert, alles was om van te genieten. We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug. Koco Bistro is absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van heerlijk eten en een fijne, gastvrije sfeer. 5 sterren meer dan verdiend!

Wij waren gisteravond voor de eerste keer hier gaan eten en werden bij binnenkomst door de eigenaar heel hartelijk en warm welkom geheten. De gasten krijgen van de eigenaar de nodige aandacht en de bediening is perfect. En de kwaliteit en verscheidenheid aan gerechten was boven verwachting!!! Alles smaakte echt naar meer, maar de porties zijn te groot!!

I had dinner here last Sunday. My experience is that the staff is super friendly and helpful. We didn't have much time because we had to catch the train. The staff then came up with the idea that we could get the meal straight away in a take-away container. The food tasted delicious. The atmosphere was also good. We definitely plan to come back and eat here again.

We were pleasantly surprised to be able to sit down (9 of us) just to have a drink at 4:30 p.m. Indeed, the French that we are are not in the habit of eating so early in the evening... A word of advice: please take care when preparing an Irish Cofee to respect the separation of liquids. A second tip: please serve it with a straw!

Reallyyyyyy nice people. We had trouble finding a restaurant because i was in a wheelchair chair. But they welcomed us . The food was delicious. I recommend plate for 2 to share, meat and fish. We re good eater and everything was good and in good quantity. The waitress and the waiter were also very kind. Thanks a lot from belgium

If you visit Valkenburg then you simply MUST go here. In a mega touristic place you will not find such good food and such nice staff anywhere as here. We really enjoyed the cocktails (take the Muay Thai) and the food. Staff so super sweet. We'll go back again tomorrow. Big 10!

Afgelopen vrijdag, 22 nov. met tien personen hier gegeten. Zeker geen onbekenden met de Aziatische keuken. En wat hebben we genoten. Heel vriendelijke attente bediening, rekening houdend met de individuele wensen, goed hoor. En dan het eten, heerlijk, zeer smaakvol. We hadden vijf verschillende bentoboxen, dus dat was ook onderling ruilen. Alles was even heerlijk. En iedereen heeft ook zeker genoeg gegeten. En voor zeer concurrente prijzen. De andere personen hebben mij zonder uitzondering meermaals aangegeven dat dit restaurant door hen enorm werd gewaardeerd, sfeer, bediening en zeker het eten. Dit is echt een enorme aanrader voor iedereen die van Aziatisch eten houdt. Ik kom hier zeker nog vaker terug. Voor de sfeer, de bediening en het heerlijke eten.

Delicious food and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately the wait was really long. We came in at 6:30 PM and walked out at 9:15 PM after ordering a main course and dessert. There was so much time between courses that we really became impatient, which cost us a lot. Taking the order (drinks too) also took a really long time. Too bad, but the food is definitely recommended.

Such a nice, warm atmosphere! We went there by recommendation and we left smiling☺️ The waiting staff were super kind and friendly. Food was delicious. We first had a street food bites sharing plate (which had all different kinds of street food in biting size) YUM! (unfortunately i forgot to take pictures because we were hungry) Then we had soups: Soto Ayam and Laksa (Laksa soup is really delicious but too spicy for me) and for desert we had crème brûlée with coconut ice cream. Everything was perfection. Would definitely want to come back again! Recommend 🫶🏼

We ate here twice during our long weekend in Valkenburg. Once in the restaurant and once picked up. Both times were great again. Delicious food, friendly service and the enthusiasm of the owner means that we will definitely come back here again!!

Staff was really friendly. Nice atmosphere. Food was really good, were able to accommodate requests made as well which was lovely. One small point of critique is staff not asking if you want anything else to drink when glasses are empty. Will definitely come back.

Pleasant terrace, slightly less so inside. Service itself is friendly but not really smooth. Homemade ice tea was delicious, but the glass was completely cracked and some shards on the edge, it was immediately replaced when returned but could have been avoided. The food was mediocre, some dishes very tasty, others not at all... On the fish dish, the scampi were just cold, raw and tasteless, just like the salmon and mussels. The hot dishes slightly better. Expected more based on the reviews.

This was the worst rendang I ever had (I eat Rendang a lot because it is one of my favorite dishes I had in Indonesia many times and homemade). The meat was like gum it had no taste. The amount of money they ask for this kind of food is unbelievable. Not a restaurant I recommend.

Als liefhebber van de Indonesische keuken moet je hier natuurlijk ook eens geweest zijn. Het was geweldig lekker en er was vriendelijke attente bediening (waar zie je dat nog?) We kozen voor de Soto Ajam,Saté Babi en Gado gado. De soto was supergoed gevuld en gewoon perfect, net als de rest overigens. Ook de homemade ice tea en de Tjendol konden ons niet teleurstellen. Al met al, gaan we hier weer snel terug komen, om weer andere gerechten van de kaart te proberen.

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten . De alcoholvrije cocktail was heerlijk. De gerechten van de bentobox waren heerlijk, de vis was mijn favoriet. Heel bijzonder was de crème brulee van sinaasappel, en van de bolletjes ijs was ook een smaakvol dessert gemaakt. En dan maakte de aardige bediening ons etentje compleet.

Heerlijk gegeten hier bij Koco Bistro. Alsof ik de boontjes van mijn oma proefde. Super en hartelijke bediening ook. We hadden de Binto box met sateh en heerlijke cocos rijst. Wat een toffe beleving zo'n kastje met kleine gerechtjes. Je proeft de authentieke smaken bijeenkomen van gember, trassi, kerrie en koriander en zoveel meer. Gewoon genieten van gerechten die met liefde zijn gemaakt. Had mijn complimenten overgebracht en de oma uit de keuken kwam dat persoonlijk in ontvangst nemen. Niet voor niets nummer 1.

Voor europeanen is dit misschien een goed restaurant. Mij viel het tegen. De beef rendang was veel te zout, het vlees wat zacht hoort te zijn was te taai, de sayur lodeh smaakte helemaal niet naar sayur lodeh. Koffie tubruk was geen echte koffie tubruk. Dus al met al voor mensen uit Indonesië geen aanrader.

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten (bentobox) en gedronken (cendol). Echt eens iets anders. De bediening heeft ondanks dat het druk is echt aandacht voor de gasten. Dat zie je niet overal in Valkenburg. Wij zijn fan!

Insanely delicious food here! Best asian food I've had outside of Asia. We had an Asian tapas dish as a starter. This contained surprisingly tasty snacks such as the curry croquette. For the main course we ordered the Bento box. These were all delicious small dishes, beautifully served. Spicy seafood, Satay, Teriyaki beef, Rendang, Javanese beans, Mixed vegetables and coconut rice. The contents of the box seem to be different every time. They also have delicious Asian beers! The service was very genuine and friendly. Happy hour is between 5 and 6, when various dishes and drinks are much cheaper. Very nice place!

Had a delicious meal at Koco Bistro. We had 2 x rice table and it was very tasty and tastefully presented. Service is friendly and always there for you. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food.

Eaten well. We had the Vegetarian rice table. This 'rice table' is served on one plate (including in separate containers). We actually all thought the dishes were a bit too sweet and the vegetables were overcooked. Anyway, it is Valkenburg, a tourist area and this restaurant serves good food. The service is fast, nice and attentive.

Eten was voor ons zwaar tegengevallen. Ik heb nog nooit zo slecht Indonesisch gegeten in Nederland. Ik had het gevoel van 'laten we maar wat door elkaar kwakken en opwarmen' manier van koken.

I ordered the Soto Ayam and it was delicious. The most seasoning I’ve tasted in this country! My partner had the black angus burger and it was tasty as well. The cendol was refreshing, and the Koco Gembira was my favorite drink. Service was very friendly and attentive. They even turned on the outside patio heat just for us. Very kind. We’ll be back to try dinner. They also take credit card.

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. We hebben hier verschillende gerechtjes gekozen en deze samen gedeelt. Onze favorieten waren de Ka Rage en de calamares. Wij zijn super goed geholpen door Guntur. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

You can enjoy delicious food here. Mother's recipes produce beautiful dishes from the kitchen. Friendly staff and good service and quality.

We stopped there for dinner. The waitress kindly showed us a seat. The table was only cleaned after we were already seated. Then he stuck it, but there were still 2 sets of paper. With my dish, Nasi Campur | Mix Rijsttafel, I was satisfied. My wife had the Poké Bowl / Katsu Poké. The meaning of this compilation was not clear to us here. With whole potatoes and other vegetables cut in different sizes, this dish did not result in any harmony of taste, it seemed put together. A pity!

A+ all around, the food was amazing, the staff super friendly and the homemade sambal is to die for! I've really enjoyed dining here and will again next time I'm in town
