Delicious Italian food with a local twist (Limburg portions)

Had a lovely evening. Got an Aperol Spritz poured all over me 😂 but that was handled perfectly. The ambiance there is very beautiful! Gorgeous place. And quality food.

Response to your comment: I asked for NOTHING, not even a discount! I pointed out that the pizza was dry, and asked if you no longer use fresh mozzarella but just shredded mozzarella. The owner herself came up with: 'we'll just see what we can arrange'. It's about the feeling; you're hungry, craving a *good* pizza, it's dry, you ask why, and you aren't heard. So, a disappointment! We're 60 years old, man, we don't need you at all with your €12.50! We always come to eat a few times a year because of the view. We're going somewhere else with our money. One glass of wine would have made us leave with a different feeling. Update on previous experience: the pizza was served with solidified mozzarella, which is supposed to still be liquid. I ate it anyway; I was really hungry. A pizza maker should see that, but it was served regardless, so it's very sloppy. It wasn't busy there. I did mention it, but nothing was done about it. A glass of wine could have solved it.... A shame. Because of this, it's the last time for us at Het Graefke. I’ve been eating pizzas for 40 years, so I know how they should be. Inside is a sort of old pub, but it has a nice terrace, so you can eat outside. They have a good wine list and pizzas (the crust is a bit too thick, though) with prices ranging from normal to expensive. There is a view of the valley, along with the sun; it is lovely to sit there.

Went out for dinner here with my family. A total surprise! An Italian restaurant that immediately gives you a holiday feeling. Beautiful ambiance. Well-cared-for and friendly staff. Had a delicious meal and drinks. Had a nice chat with the owners, Shirin and Levi. Thank you. The location is top-notch. A beautiful walking area around Schin op Geul. Definitely worth repeating!

Within walking distance of our hotel. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and on top of that, the food is exceptionally tasty. What more could one ask for? Now, 2 years later, we ate here again and it was once again a wonderful experience!

Great restaurant with good service and super waitstaff. The pizzas were absolutely fine. The salmon, the salad, and the fries were also very good. The ribeye was unfortunately a bit tough. But if you mention this, you get a new one.

Nothing special, pizzas with little flavor. Way too much sauce (truffle?) on the carpaccio. Service was friendly but at the same time a bit chaotic; they forgot to serve half of what we ordered (sorry, forgot). You can look right into the kitchen where, for example, salads are prepared without gloves or anything similar. The kitchen itself didn't look very well-maintained. In short; not really great. Just an average pizzeria, nothing more. Has little to nothing to do with Italian cuisine.

We had a delicious meal in a cozy, homely atmosphere.

The food was truly delicious. Despite being told beforehand that it would be busy and might take a little longer, we received it quickly, and it was truly delicious. Friendly, hospitable staff who really go the extra mile for you.

During our stay at the holiday park, we ordered takeout several times. Delicious. Prepared with care. It's a shame we couldn't pick up all the desserts because they would melt. The only downside: We haven't been able to make reservations yet. They're always fully booked. But that speaks volumes, of course.

A lovely, quiet spot on the edge of a small village and the woods. Delicious Italian food. Friendliness is effortless, and the kitchen hasn't disappointed us yet! Kids are also catered for; menus are simply reduced so they don't have to eat the endless fries.

A great restaurant with excellent food. It's a bit cramped inside, but that's what creates such a cozy and homey atmosphere. There's a wide variety of pizzas. For the pasta and desserts, I'm missing a few Italian classics. The presentation is perfect, the flavors are good, although (for our taste) the pasta bolognese and tiramisu were a bit bland. Still, definitely worth a visit.

We had a wonderful meal tonight on the cozy terrace... The pizza pesca was packed with delicious fish. But the biggest compliment goes to the waitresses and the bartenders... all so friendly, polite, and super nice. As a guest, that's a real plus. Your boss must be lucky to have such a team!

Un-Dutchly delicious! Excellent service, friendly staff and a great location! Both inside and outside atmospheric. You don't have to travel thousands of kilometers for a Mediterranean adventure surrounded by beautiful nature.

We had the 3-course dinner for €33,9. Very value for money! Restaurant was nice and cost with the decor and ambiance. Would recommend!

We had made a reservation, which turned out to be necessary. Many tables were occupied. We could still choose a table for two. We were helped very quickly and the drinks were quickly in front of us. Took the chef's menu. Was very tasty and there was enough choice. The carpaccio was quickly on the table. Was very tasty. The next course took a bit longer, but that is no problem. The ribeye was very tasty, well cooked so with some vegetables (few) and delicious sauce. The service was very nice. Four young people who took care of this, did it customer-friendly. We will definitely make a reservation here again.

Een zeer leuke en gezellig restaurant op een mooie locatie, het aanbod aan Italiaans eten is uitgebreid en zeer lekker. Het personeel en de eigenaar zijn ook zeer gastvrij.

Were there yesterday with two couples. Delicious food. Both the sea bass and the ribeye were top notch, as was the starter (carpaccio and calamari). Big compliment to the young staff who had everything under control despite the crowds.

Had a delicious 3 course menu. Cozy old cafe atmosphere. It was quite busy, but not overcrowded, which is always nice. For me personally it was quite warm there, because of the wood stove. Fortunately it became a bit more pleasant later in the evening. But that did not detract from the delicious food.

As always, a delicious meal! In addition to the delicious dishes, there is an extensive wine list. The atmosphere is always great: a really cozy and cozy restaurant. In winter you can sit nice and warm inside by the wood stove. In the summer you can sit outside along the Geul with a beautiful view of nature.

Visited from Hobart, Tasmania and celebrated my mums 90th birthday in this wonderful restaurant. We would gladly travel from the other side of the world again to eat great Italian food and experience true Limburg hospitality from Scott and the whole team at ‘t Graefke.

After a brisk walk we walked past this nice restaurant, beautifully situated on the Geul. Table on the terrace, with the sound of the flowing water, great. And then the food, just great. Best and tastiest pizza in the region! Definitely recommended to eat once.

What a nice place this is! The unpretentiousness makes it a pleasure to be a guest here. Delicious food and drinks; always of consistently good quality. And the predominantly young staff do their utmost to please the guest! It is striking that they do not need to be directed or alerted. They all possess a natural hospitality that cannot be learned. That enthusiasm alone means that we have been coming here several times a year for years to enjoy ourselves when we catch our breath in beautiful South Limburg. The friends and family we took here are all enthusiastic about this Pearl of Limburg.

Located on an asphalt road that turns into a forest path to Valkenburg. The food is excellent and the service very friendly. The young owner is an enthusiastic and customer-oriented entrepreneur. We enjoyed sitting here!

Don't eat in Valkenburg, but drive/bike/walk/crawl here! Great Italian restaurant with beautiful views, lovely atmosphere and super service. Really delicious food. Bruschetta and Calamaria were superb. Good cooking time and taste. The main course; salmon in white wine sauce and pizza for the juniors tasted great. This made for a delicious meal in an Italian atmosphere. Staff is very attentive, you will not want for anything. In summary: TOP

Delicious pizza and tasty beers on tap. The staff is very attentive. Feel free to go here, especially if you are the bungalow park. Walk along the track and you will come across a tunnel. Continue along the road and you will see the terrace on the left along the gully.

Lovely sound from the small gully in the background. Pretty good view. No parking, park further down the road in the direction of Schin. Ordering food was messy, perhaps due to the youth of the waitresses. Tasty food except the bland tiramisu. The pizzas are large but messily laid out. Reservations necessary.

What a fantastic restaurant! My husband and I had a really delicious meal here. My husband had the spaghetti and I had the schnitzel. The portions were large, packed with flavor and completely perfect actually. I enjoyed eating green asparagus that I actually don't like. If we go on holiday to Valkenburg again, we will definitely eat here again!
