We went here for dinner last week, based on reviews, which we might otherwise have missed since it's not on our main route. We had a wonderful meal here; you can really taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients and products. Wonderfully fresh and flavorful. The owner goes out of his way to offer you a delicious wine as well. Their willingness to go the extra mile for their guests, combined with the delicious food, makes this a solid 5 stars.

A very Greek experience! We felt like being back in Greece again! Super friendly owner, delicious well seasoned food, maybe the gyros was a bit too salty for our taste but all the other meals we tried were great! Ouzou and Greek cheesecake were much appreciated. Will come back for sure.

Food is superb. They know how to season the food really well. It is tasty and big serving. The meat plate from the photo is for single person. It is grilled with proper amount of seasoning and juicy. The salmon is fresh and cooked properly. The coffee is nice as well with a proper blend of bitterness and creaminess without too much sugar. Value for money is worth it. The owner is really friendly and very much accommodating. They also have a clean and homey atmosphere. You will leave the place with a big and fulfilled tummy. 💯 recommended.

A refreshingly modern Greek eatery. The enthusiastic owner passionately explains the dishes. Gyros platter, Melitzanes (eggplant platter), bourgiourdi (cheese, tomato, and pepper platter). Fresh and prepared with passion. House raki. A truly wonderful experience.

Not a traditional Greek restaurant. The meat was dry. The cold coffee was sickly sweet. The fries were poorly cooked and came with no sauce. The salad was meager. Tzatziki sauce wasn't even included. You have to order it separately. Beware: if you order tea, you'll get Greek green lemon tea. I had high expectations due to the high rating (4.8) on Google reviews. It was on the menu, but no Red Bull, but there was toasted sandwich, teriyaki, Gouda cheese, and more.

Mixed grill for two was delicious. The accompanying fries, salad, rice, and homemade mayonnaise were delicious. The service was friendly. Greek music in the background completed the evening.

What a beautiful gem in Valkenburg this restaurant is... Greek food in an authentic and original way, and only the highest quality ingredients are used. The owner and chef of the restaurant has a lot of passion for his work and is extremely hospitable. He let us taste his own creations and shared all the details about the food. We ordered the menta mixed grill (2 pers.), gyros club sandwich, and vegetarian moussaka. All 3 delicious dishes. Dessert was a gift from the chef. Really worth eating if you are in the area of ​​Valkenburg!

First of all, the waiter is the best. Super friendly, making special kids cocktails, offering the better beer. The food was good but the kitchen too slow. It was too busy for the poor waiter and the kitchen obviously could not manage. Thats too bad because this restaurant could have gotten 5 stars from me, but because the under staffing they get 4.

Really lovely food, very tasteful and carefully prepared. The owner is a very kind and cheerful, passionate chef and that really adds to the experience. We enjoyed the pasta with mushrooms (Orzo) very much: fresh ingredients and the best cheese on top and the "cherry on the cake" must have been this delicious balance of flavours. What more can you ask for? Greek food with Italian precision. The restaurants' ambience is relaxing and cozy: cheerful soft, Greek music in the background and an owner who likes to make his guests truly happy. His authenticity and dedication and the food really did ❤️☺️ Some minor, improvements could only be softer chairs (but we sat on it for hours, so that's maybe the exception) and a little faster service, though, we really give this a 9,5 out of 10 which is great! Went here for dinner and couldn't use my American Express card but the owner was very accommodating and friendly and figured out a way to help me get it to work. He also gave me free a free drink and kept me company till I got my food.... Food is delicious and authentic, would definitely recommend if you want good food and great service. Niet normaal hoe vriendelijk en hoe goed en lekker bereid, laat je van alles proeven, verteld alles wat je wil weten, maar dringt zich absoluut niet op, jammer dat hij in Valkenburg zit en niet dichter bij ons. Ik denk dat liefde, passie en kunde voor het Griekse eten hier echt samen komen. Absoluut naar toe !!!

Walk through the busy street and go to MENTA! Really worth it. Very tasty food (the tzaziki with pita, eggplant, kolokithokeftedes) and for a very good price. And what fantastic sweet service. The owner really wants to please you and recommends his best products. So much passion for really good food!

The service was exceptional. The food was excellent. You can tell Michael, the owner, goes above and beyond in every way. This is a man that truly loves what he does and he loves his customers. The experience isn’t just the good food, it’s the warmth of hospitality and the immediate care you feel you’re under once you get there. Not as polished or buttoned down as some of the other local establishments in town, but that adds to its charm in my opinion. It why you need to come and experience this place for yourself. It’s a personal experience. This is a unique and engaging experience between the owner, his passions for food, and you.

We were almost the only guests this evening. Owner was super enthusiastic. He has only had the case since December. Still need to gain some experience. Forgot to clear serving spoons from the salad and table and it wasn't even busy yet. But his enthusiasm made up for everything. Gave tips for drinks and food. Consumptions not too expensive. Delicious dishes and tasty Reiki appetizer. Received pita bread for free and also a cheesecake. In short, a delicious meal at a great price. Nicely decorated. In our opinion, highly recommended.

Delicious food, ever since the new owner took over the food has been even better. The meat is so tender, juice ans well spiced, the tzatziki is to die for, they even make their own mayonaise to go with their great fries! The saltiness of the fries could be a little less, but that might be my personal preference. 10/10, you won't be disappointed if you choose to eat here.

I recently spent a business weekend in Valkenburg and sought out a restaurant suitable for solo dining. To my delight, I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening: the starter, main course, and dessert were all exquisite. Special recognition goes to the owner, whose passion for his craft is evident in his dedication to offering quality products. I also had the opportunity to sample various Greek beverages. I will undoubtedly return and I really recommend you this restaurant.

As a Greek I highly encourage you to visit this amazing restaurant! To begin with ,they serve dishes made from fresh products. The chef has a great taste and the selection of the dishes is based on the traditional Greek cuisine but with an elegant way of executing and serving! Their selection of wines and tsipouro is great ! If you are vegetarian, vegan or pesceterian you have a variety of choices equally delicious to the regular cuisine. Don't hesitate to ask the chef for suggestions ,he is willing and happy to explain everything! Last but not least, the music and the decoration are of great taste and represent the artistic side of a nice Greek restaurant!

We were there for the first time after the change of ownership, on New Year's Eve, very friendly and courteous owner and service, nice and cozy "tavern atmosphere", food very tasty, also a recommendation to try gyros with vegetables (very tasty ), you can be surprised...we will come back.

I booked a table here for New Year's Eve. The food was very good. The staff doesn't speak Dutch, but that didn't bother me as long as the service didn't suffer.

The food alone is incredible. We got the mixed grill for 2 and it was a lot of food. The service was good when we were the only ones in there but as a few tables started to fill up we had to wait over 25 minutes for a box for our leftovers, and that was also without paying... If you're not in a rush and you want some delicious Greek food, you'd have a better experience but there is surely no arguing about the fact that the quality of the food itself is great here.

Great host! Visited on a Monday evening so it was very quiet. The portions were ample and tasty. Very child friendly. By the way, it is under new ownership since December 2024.
