We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Menta. The food was very tasty and the service was great, you will be completely pampered here! We will definitely come back :-).

We just stopped here because of the good reviews...It's really the case that it's hospitable and super delicious...We felt so comfortable from the first minute...The innkeeper has a heart of a person... .just everyone there...

We were there for the first time after the change of ownership, on New Year's Eve, very friendly and courteous owner and service, nice and cozy "tavern atmosphere", food very tasty, also a recommendation to try gyros with vegetables (very tasty ), you can be surprised...we will come back.

I booked a table here for New Year's Eve. The food was very good. The staff doesn't speak Dutch, but that didn't bother me as long as the service didn't suffer.

The food alone is incredible. We got the mixed grill for 2 and it was a lot of food. The service was good when we were the only ones in there but as a few tables started to fill up we had to wait over 25 minutes for a box for our leftovers, and that was also without paying... If you're not in a rush and you want some delicious Greek food, you'd have a better experience but there is surely no arguing about the fact that the quality of the food itself is great here.

Great host! Visited on a Monday evening so it was very quiet. The portions were ample and tasty. Very child friendly. By the way, it is under new ownership since December 2024.

Great food. Great host. The service was a little slow but it was understandable as they were low on staff and it was a reallly busy xmas week. The host ensured to compensate with a few desserts and drinks thereby showing his mindfulness for customer satisfaction. All in all a great experience

De gastheer is een ware entertainer met veel enthousiasme en overtuiging legt de verschillende gerechten uit. De gastvrijheid spat er vanaf. De gerechten zijn authentiek Grieks, wat je snel doet wegdromen naar Griekenland. Je krijgt zeker voldoende voor je geld. De moeite waard als je van de Griekse keuken houdt.

Ordered, upon delivery: well the fries weren't even pre-fried yet, we still had to finish frying them. Unappetizing cheese on burger. And not at all what you would expect for 83 euros! Never again. Never again.

Menta is a lovely Greek restaurant that’s perfect for any occasion! The food was super delicious we finished every plate, and the service was warm and attentive. The kind owner and cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious!! Having lived in Greece, it was really top-notch and authentic. I recommend trying a mix of different starters and dips, and Michael (the owner) really puts all his love into all of the food. The staff has great hospitality, and the overall restaurant has a wonderful vibe.

We ordered the menta grill for 2, fired mushrooms and tigania. When it was delivered it was a whole other order, so i called the restaurant to explain the situation, the owner explained thuisbezorgd did not change his menu so orders come through wrong. He asked me what i would like from the menu and he would provide it, so i said surpise me, 25 minutes later he was at my door, and explained he brought us chicken with rice and some amazing sauce, home made cheese croquettes like with also some amazing sauce, and a awesome dessert. Then he said it was 30 euro, we did not discuss that, on the phone it sounded like he would bring it no charge, he understood and it was misscommunication and he said its a gift from me is okay. We wanted to take the time to write this review in hopes the owner sees it to. We wish you all the best, we thank you very much for the amazing food, service and the great solution to the food mix up, we hope thuisbezorgd will compensate you for your great efforts. We had a very nice meal on the terrace of this Greek restaurant, which is located in a quieter place in Valkenburg. Really good quality of the meat from the Mixed Grill and the rice was very tasty, as was the salad. Friendly, English-speaking Greek service. Highly recommended to visit this new restaurant

Everyone here is very helpful and very, very friendly. However, points are deducted because of the waiting time. There were only 3 tables occupied and we had to wait about 50 minutes for the starter. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. We would still come back 👍

No vegetables, salad or garnish. Only rice (couldn't choose fries as the menu indicated). Had rice and three skewers. Smelled very much of smoke inside. Staff is friendly.

Delicious dinner March 23, 2024 in the evening. Delicious dishes, friendly service, good prices. And the chef really does his best to give you the best food. TIP: the gyros are delicious! And if you book online and it doesn't work, just call! We would love to come back again.

Absolutely fabulous place. We did not expect much, just wanted to eat some greek food though we vere struck with surprisingly welcoming attitude and absolutely delicious food. Honestly, there is no better restaurant in The Netherlands, I would come here every week if only I lived closer. I would go to Valkenburg again JUST for this restaurant. Thank you! 11/10 :)))

Hebben voorgerecht gegeten was ok. Daarna hoofdgerecht mix grill. Dit was gewoon vettig vlees en echt niet lekker. We hebben de helft laten staan.

Wonderful place to eat. You really get into the Greek mood, the food, the music and the staff really give you the Greek feeling. Definitely recommended, the location is not large but very attractive.

Had to wait 45 minutes for the starter and it wasn't busy. We had a mixed grill for 2 people, and everything ended up with a heap of weak fries. Also no atmosphere and boring decor.

Not a traditional Greek restaurant. Meat dry. The cold coffee was sickly sweet. Fries poorly cooked, no sauce. Salad was meager. There was nothing standard about Tzatziki sauce. Can be ordered separately. Please note, if you order tea you will receive Greek green lemon tea.. Had high expectations regarding high rating (4.8) on google reviews. On the menu but no Redbull, there is toast, teriyaki, Gouda cheese and more.

We decided to eat here, since the reviews were very good (4,8 out of 360 reviews). The service was incredibly slow, the staff seemed inexperienced. The bright green lights on the terrace make the food look very unappealing. The food was decent at most, the portions were very small. They were also completely out of desserts, which is very bizarre. All in all, to be completely honest, the high reviews of this restaurant almost seem fake. If you are looking for a Greek / Mediterranean restaurant, I suggest looking for another restaurant in Valkenburg, as there are plenty.

Der guten Bewertung wegen, haben wir dieses Restaurant an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße besucht. Das Ambiente war kühl und einfach. Beim freundlichen Personal bestellten wir 2 Vorspeisen und den Grillteller für 2 Personen mit Salat und Fritten. Der Grillteller war sehr gut belegt und das Fleisch war gut. Beim Salat handelte es sich um einen frisch gehobelten Weißkohl mit einzelnen Karottenstreifen. Ein Dressing konnten wir leider nicht finden, also Rohkost pur. Die hier servierten Fritten waren die schlechtesten, und das in Holland, die wir je gegessen haben. Sie waren matschig, mit altem Fett durchtränkt. Aus unserer Sicht so nicht zu empfehlen.

Een burger eten in een Grieks restaurant, waarom ook niet! (Neem dan de Griekse burger). Aardige Griekse dame met goede adviezen erbij. Lekker sfeertje en hier komen we nog een keertje.

Dit is echt een traditioneel Grieks restaurant wat alles heel ambachtelijk bereid. Wat de Griekse dame voorstelde was super leuk! In Griekenland is het normaal om meerdere kleine gerechten te bestellen en dit met elkaar te delen (Mezze) Met passie stelde ze een aantal gerechten voor. Wat zij ons die avond serveerde was zo ontzettend lekker. Een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Een echte aanrader. Alles uit eigen keuken, authentiek Grieks, echt familie bedrijf (mevrouw de bediening, meneer de keuken). Heerlijk gegeten, we komen vaker!

Heerlijke Dorade uit de oven. Soep vonden wij te zoet en niet echt lekker, laten staan dus. Kip was beetje droog. Salade was heerlijk.

Eten is echt heel erg goed. Mijn vrouw is vegetarisch en ik niet. Beiden hebben we echt genoten van de goede ingrediënten en bijzonder goede bereiding hiervan.

We hebben hier met 2 jonge gezinnen gegeten. Erg vriendelijk en meedenken met keuze uit menu voor onze kieskeurige eters. Veel uit eigen keuken authentiek Grieks, heerlijk!

Hoii, ik had net eten besteld via thuisbezorgd en was echt top. Het eten was lekker! En de bezorger was super aardig! Ze waren ons blikje cola vergeten en kwamen ze achteraf nog helemaal brengen naar ons echt lief!

Amazing food and amazing service. First we ordered for delivery, the food arrived warm and super tasty so next day we decided we must try sitting in aswell. It was a great decision as we had a delicious meal. Best restaurant I visited in the Netherlands. I can recommend for anyone visiting the city. We will surely go again.
