We've been coming here for years and it's always good. And if it's not so good, it's almost always resolved on the spot. We'll definitely be back.

Average quality of food, very expensive. Meat of burger nearly half the size of the bread. Most side dishes have to be paid extra. Included side dishes (vegetables) you need to search for on the plate. Trying to make it a German speaking après-ski experience, but German translations on menu are terrible and staff doesn't seem to speak German ;-) Probably not coming back :(

Just wanted a quick bite after drinks. After looking at the menu outside, the Philly Cheese Burger appealed to me. Upon entering, they told me this was their soft opening week, and for €25 per person, you get a glass of bubbly, a tasting menu, and a main course of your choice. They've been renovating the place over the past few weeks and giving it a winter theme. The decision was quickly made. I ate a bit more than I intended, but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly; I'll definitely be back for the Philly Cheese Burger. The red cabbage with cinnamon wasn't quite my cup of tea, but that's just personal taste :)

Compared to a while ago, it was a bit disappointing. The food was okay, but I thought it was relatively expensive. The service was somewhat absent.

On Saturday, we dined at Cows and Cheese at the invitation of the location manager. This was because we had a less-than-stellar experience in a previous one. We were free to choose what we wanted, and she was open to genuine feedback. She was able to address some issues internally, while others were beyond her control, such as charging extra for fries or sauce with the meat. The starter this time consisted of a cow and cheese tasting. It was very tasty and beautifully seasoned. The steak tartare was a standout. It was rich in flavor and had beautiful textures. For the main course, we had a chef's burger. This was also very flavorful, especially the Spice BBQ sauce. Sticky with a nice heat that wasn't overpowering. All in all, a wonderful experience. We'd love to return.

Delicious. Even if you're not so keen on meat, there are some great other dishes. Service fantastic. Nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by.

Food is very expensive, it is not served warm and spices like pepper and salt are not even used from the kitchen. Very disappointing this is not a 2nd time for me and will certainly not recommend this to anyone.

Neatly reserved for 18:00, after we had been here with great pleasure earlier. Received by a friendly waitress who let us choose a table outside for a drink and then had a cheese fondue inside. She would get a cloth for the table but we never saw her again 🫣 In the meantime, we saw 4 other tables come and be helped, while we were still waiting. After 25 minutes we finally got in touch to order a drink. Then they tried 3 times to deliver the drink from another table to us and our order was offered to us at the table 🤷🏻‍♂️ After waiting 45 minutes after our reservation, we were finally offered a menu. By then we were actually done with it, so we indicated that we would eat somewhere else. The response was purely "ok", not even interested in what could have been better.. Then we walked towards the market square and ended up at Chez Lou Lou. Had a great meal there, was helped right away, did pay attention to the customer and was super customer friendly. In short, ignore this jerk and go have a nice customer friendly dinner around the corner. 👌

Been there before for a cheese fondue. Great service then. Today, terrible! We were allowed to choose a table outside, it was pleasantly busy but not excessively. After having received a few wrong drinks, which had to be taken to another table each time, we finally got our drinks. After 45 minutes, someone finally came to hand over the menu. We paid for the wine and told them that we were not going to eat here because the service was so slow. (Other guests who arrived later immediately got the menu) No apology because of the long wait or something. Very unfortunate

Smoked pork belly as a starter was excellent. The catch was nicely fried on the fat layer crispy but a bit too cold on the inside. The malbec from Cahors was very tasty, and nice that it was cooled a bit

Slow and poor service. Portion size and quality does not add up to the price. Had to call the waiting staff multiple times. First to get some menus, second to get a salad that was left behind when table was served, third to get some spoons to serve the sauces. Ordered bread with spreads for starters. They brought out 8 miserable slices of bread with some butter that was not enough for all, paid 9.50 eur for it. Fries portion was tiny. Steak was tasteless. I have been to this restaurant 3 times before and witnessed its decline. First time was amazing, great service and food, however it looks like they are trying to live off the early years reputation now. Not recommended.

Had a bite to eat last weekend. Besides the incredibly delicious food, compliments to the chef because the food was so good! But what terrible service! After the starter we indicated that we would have a round of beer and cocktails and then enjoy the bottle of red and white wine that we had ordered. We explicitly requested that the red and white wine be served with our fish and meat dish when they are served. At some point our food arrives but we hadn't had the round of beer and cocktail yet. The red bottle of wine was quickly grabbed and it made a difference that our waitress had never opened a bottle of wine before, so we helped him. Some time later I almost finished my fish dish but still no white wine. Also still not the round beer and cocktail btw! I asked where everything was and it turned out that the white wine was not even in stock! No one noticed that 45 minutes earlier. I have now finished my dish without any drinks at all! Bad bad and bad. We will never go here again, it's a shame.

You notice that there is a staff shortage, too bad. Food is recommended.

The meat is expensive, gets little and some pieces really chewy.

I've been there twice already. Always tasty, the hamburger was tasty with a special combination of ingredients. The cheese fondue was delicious with lots of vegetables. The service was fast, attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back there!

We waited 2.5 hours for the main course. The minimalist fries were cold, the 'waygu' burger was grilled completely dry, the fondue cheese was cold, and we had to light the tea light ourselves. The wait staff seemed inexperienced and there were only 2 people in the kitchen. Luckily we were with a large group so it was fun. But this wasn't good.

Good restaurant with really delicious food and good service.

For a steak restaurant, the expensive types of steak (rib-eye, etc.) were grilled very poorly (too raw and too well done in one dish). We indicated this to the waiter. The response was very lukewarm ("that's because this steak is thinner"), although we did receive the offer to receive a new steak. My proposal is different: if you don't know how to adjust the cooking process of a steak to the thickness of the piece of meat, you might be better off not working as a chef in a steak restaurant. As a restaurant, I would not dare to charge such high prices for this quality. By the way, we first emailed the restaurant with our complaint. Companies usually prefer to speak directly to a dissatisfied customer than to receive a negative review. In this case it doesn't seem that way. In the absence of a response, I hope to prepare future customers: substandard quality for a much too high price. Two other points of criticism: - it takes a very long time before you get the menu. This did not only apply to us: the customers next to us had made their choice using the menu on the website. - with the nail length and decoration that I saw at the service, you should not be touching other people's food (read: cutting bread), which is also open in the middle of the restaurant. Those nails really do not meet hygiene standards and above all they are very dirty. I hope things will be more hygienic in the kitchen.

To start positively, the service was very good and nothing to complain about. My wife had a Bavette and I had a Rib eye. Both ordered medium cooked. Meat came quite quickly and were both cooked Rare (blood red) and literally almost cold. Sent meat back and came back after 3 minutes, still blood red. We chose to leave it there, because otherwise the meat might become tough. Long story short. The chefs absolutely don't know what they are doing and clearly don't know the difference between medium and rare! I recommend that the owner of the restaurant do something about this and explain to his chefs how it works. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here again.

I thought it was downright bad. The four of us were here, including 2 children aged 10 and 13. Our son ate gluten-free. A burger with bun and fries. He was the only one who really liked it. Only during the night did he throw up everything. So it certainly wasn't gluten free if it makes him sick and I don't blame them for that! We had a steak and my daughter described the food as cold, nasty and no taste and I agree. I had to ask for a plate 3 times and then had to walk for it myself because we kept waiting. For this price I expected much more. We have never eaten as bad as here.

Around the corner and behind my backyard is a well-maintained cozy place that welcomes you with warmth, ambiance and the aromas of real, tasty food!. Everything, everything, everything IS!!! We enjoyed every bite of the Chef's Burger special🍔🍔... DELICIOUS!! Even the house merlot was divine. Our waiter was always on point👌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. K&K Zoetermeer, you have a happy, self-managing staff🎉! What we experienced there is a leading example of what others should notice. 5+ ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ I made photos and kept them to myself😊

Kaasfondue? er zat geen kaas in, een koude melige saus die naar oplos-bouillon smaakt. Serieus nog nooit zo iets vies voorgeschoteld gekregen.

Top tent, delicious food, well cared for

What a nice surprise this was last night! We have been living in Zoetermeer for a while, but for one reason or another we have never stepped in here. Now I think, if only we had discovered this place sooner! What a cool place, beautiful surroundings with that open kitchen and NY-like cool appearance. Nice menu, lots of choice. And it tasted really good too. We opted for the classic carpaccio and French onion soup as a starter, Bavette and the Wagyu burger as main. Really fantastic, nothing else to say. The tables next to us there the food looked so good too. We will definitely come back because we wanted more and are curious about the rest!! Last but not least; service sharp and on point, top! How it should be.

Ate here yesterday, and a few times a few years ago. The food is very tasty, and the service was very friendly. We regularly came by to ask if we wanted something to drink or needed anything. The cheese fondue was super tasty, and so were the vegetables.

Hier gisteren gegeten. Alles duurde vrij lang, maar daar kan ik wel mee leven. Helaas was van ons 1 van de steaks rauw i.p.v rare. Hierop spraken we serveerster aan die ons compleet negeerde. Vervolgens andere serveerster aangesproken die een beetje nonchalant reageerde. Eten was verder niet verkeerd, maar ook niet heel speciaal voor de prijs.

Although the concept sounds promising, this was not a successful experience. The staff seemed sufficiently present and so you expect service. Drinks were taken quickly, almost too quickly, but after the drinks were brought, we had to wait a long time until we also received a menu. This did not seem to be due to crowds or a shortage of staff, because the staff certainly walked by empty-handed several times. Once the order was taken, the main courses arrived quickly. The two types of cheese fondue were simply placed in front of us, without saying which version was in which pan. We had to ask about this ourselves. After tasting it, it turned out that the flavors did not match what the waiter had told us. Can happen. However, the Swiss cheese fondue was nothing like the cheese fondue they would serve in Switzerland. The kirsch was so overpowering that it was as if spirits had fallen from a burner into the pan. After indicating this, the waiter took it to the kitchen. The kitchen had "looked into it" and assured us that the cheese fondue was always supposed to taste like this... Well, don't tell me that Swiss cheese fondue is supposed to taste like petroleum. I can't imagine that after tasting this batch they thought it was tasty. So we just got the pan back. The waiter advised us to stir the cheese a little better, that might help. It seems to me that the kitchen should provide a ready-to-eat product, but that's fine. No sooner said than done. The taste was not bad at all and the structure was actually nothing to write home about. As thick as mashed potatoes and not at all in liquid cheese form. The Gouda cheese fondue was excellent, so that was a bright spot on this evening. The entire evening no one else walked by to take more drinks or ask if they tasted good. After the plates were cleared, we were not offered a dessert menu. Asking the waiter was not an option either, because the person who had served us at the beginning of the evening had gone outside for a very long smoke break. Another half hour later, our newly joined guest was asked what he wanted to drink, but nothing at the rest of the table. Ultimately I was able to quickly ask for the dessert menu myself. Only when we finished the desserts were we able to order more drinks. By the way, there weren't any cows left in that store for a long time, so no one knows why it took so long. If you can tolerate the kerosene taste and bad service and bring your own good company, this is a great evening. Otherwise better go to another tent.

Went here for the first time because we had received a dinner voucher and chose this restaurant. I find the prices quite high and the quality not excellent. (Still tough pieces in carpaccio and steak) I asked for medium and got raw, so it had to be returned. No repeat for us. Staff also not very attentive to whether you want something to drink.

Had dinner here with colleagues tonight. Service was particularly poor even though there were hardly any other guests. Soup was cold, sauce with food was incorrect and desserts arrived incomplete. The worst part was that no one came by to take away the empty plates - chatting in the kitchen was more important. We will never go here again!

Unfortunately not a great experience. Upon arrival, I could not find a reservation in the system. Ordering drinks took a while. Ordered a glass of milk but they didn't have it??? Weird if your name is Cows and Cheese. 🤷‍♂️ Ordered fondue but that was a disappointment. For that money you expect more than a bowl of melted cheese, bread pieces, tomatoes, pieces of crumbly potatoes and rock-hard carrots. Service was reasonable but not great. Conclusion: don't do it. Then there are better restaurants in the immediate area.

Smooth and very friendly service, food was excellent. Toilets are clean and tidy, but the lighting is sober.

Viel wat tegen. Zaak is aan een opknap beurt toe. Kregen een tafel op podium. Beetje kale bedoeling daar geworden . Maar beter dan een tafel bij de deur die we eerst voorgesteld kregen. Vers geperste sinaasappel was er niet. Als een voorgerecht namen we carpaccio . Wel lekker , maar veel te veel broad beans er overheen. We twijfelde ook door de smaak en hoe het was opgediend of het wel handgeslagen was. Flinterdun was het. Dan ossenhaas met een koolsalade erbij die we kennen van de KFC. Echt een slechte combinatie. Beetje patat , lekker en niet te veel . Een pepersaus die muf rook en echt niet smaakte. Gevraagd of dit wel de goede saus was. Leek op jus met iets . Maar geen peper smaak te ontdekken. De ossenhaas was wel weer perfect. Bediening was aardig . Wel zelf moeten vragen om bestek toen we ons voorgerecht hadden gekregen. Kregen een bakje met bestek erin, maar een servet ? Na vragen kregen we deze ook. Het viel een beetje tegen hierdoor allemaal. Jammer we hebben het hier ook zeker anders meegemaakt . In verhouding prijs /kwaliteit klopt de ossenhaas. De rest niet betreffende het eten en sfeer(zaak). Ruim 121 euro voor 2 personen. Dan verwachten we wat, maar niet dit.

Had dinner here tonight. The food came fairly quickly (because it was still quiet). The food was delicious, nothing to complain about, but the service was ridiculously bad. The person in charge was having none of it. During the meal, no one came by to ask if everything was okay, and no one asked if we wanted something to drink, even though we had already finished our drinks for a long time. We waited 45 minutes for the bill with an empty plate. We kept looking at the staff, but no one paid attention to the customers. No one came, so we started walking ourselves. The people behind us were also super annoyed because everything went wrong at their table (they had already been waiting 1.5 hours for their food and 1 hour for their drinks). People had been sitting at another table behind us for half an hour and no one came to take an order for food or drinks. In the meantime, they were taking all new tables, but there were many irritated customers. After 45 minutes we finally got the bill, which was placed on the table without looking at us (just not thrown down). The person who did that just kept walking. Then without saying anything he came back with the pin and we could pay. We immediately indicated that this was ridiculous, and the best man could only say “yes, sorry” in a very disinterested manner. Then the bomb really exploded. I have never experienced anything so bad; how everyone was treated was really unacceptable. Everyone also had to contact the staff themselves to be able to order, which is not right! I really thought it was ridiculous!! Especially for the money you eat for.

Had a delicious meal yesterday, friendly staff and a nice restaurant. Found out that they had just opened after the holidays. That's probably why it was so quiet (we were the only ones) despite that... fine.

Often don't have what is on the menu. If you order a sirloin steak you get a cote de boeuf. Thinking that the customer doesn't notice. However, it is all fresh and a good drink choice. Price is high.

Indicated that it is open on Google on a Sunday lunchtime, when you arrive in front it is closed. Quite annoying when we had to travel just to come and eat a gouda fondue

A beautiful restaurant. A big advantage is that you can turn a light when you want a waiter to come, so that you don't get a lame arm from waiting.

Nice meal. A good piece of meat (bavette), with fries, and some raw vegetable salad. Start with a kind of cheese fondue, and for dessert a trio of chocolate. The service was good and friendly. Unfortunately the cappuccino was forgotten to serve at the end. Therefore 4 stars for service.

We ate and drank extensively with a large group of 12 people. The food is good, nothing to complain about. From a service perspective, there is still much to be gained. The menu includes 6 prawns as an option for an additional €11.95. When ordering, someone in the party will receive 3 prawns. Quite a bit for €11.95. We speak to the waitress who says: Yes, the menu explicitly says 6, but these are larger so you only get 3. A learning moment for the restaurant, I think.

It was very warm inside, food was very good but took a while.

My husband's steak was a little overdone. Too bad, but they were fantastic before. And they politely asked if he wanted another one.

This restaurant is a bit of a 'hidden gem'. It looks a bit small from the outside, but inside it is large because of the space in the corner behind it. Well-prepared beef, lots of tasty flavors in the sauces & side dishes and fast service. Various nice steaks, luxurious burgers or other dishes such as vid, I like them all very much here.

De bediening was vriendelijk, maar echt te traag (veel te lang gezeten tot we de kaart kregen, eerste drankje konden bestellen etc). Eten erg matig, kaasfondue was vooral meelpap met weinig smaak en zeker maar heel weinig kaas. Toetje was redelijk. Volgende keer dat ik hier in de buurt ben probeer ik een ander restaurant.

Nice tent, attractively decorated. Service is fast and adequate. Delicious, good quality burgers. Enough choice of drinks. On tap: fire, Texel skuumkoppe and Birra moretti. A melted cheese sandwich is highly recommended as an appetizer. Be aware of the draft, I have been there twice but there is quite a bit of draft and it can sometimes feel cold.

Just absolutely great. Beautiful decor, great staff, everything is on the table very quickly and it's all delicious. We sat here all evening with a group of friends and enjoyed ourselves. We will often come back here if this is the standard. Recommended!

Food was delicious, but the service was poor. Our reservation was not made, but fortunately there was still a spot for us. Made us sit with our empty plates for too long when they weren't even that busy... Tip for the kitchen, but if you spend 150 euros for 2 people, I expect more attention from the service.

Good and tasty food, the service was top notch and very friendly (which is a rarity these days). We chose this restaurant because it was next to the Stadstheater in Zoetermeer, but we will definitely come back again.

Onwijs lekker gegeten bij K&K. Vooral de service van de dames in de bediening was zeer positief, leuke vrolijke meiden die met plezier hun werk doen. Worden veel dingen aangeboden wat betreft de specialiteiten. Eten was goed warm en goed gegaard. Mijn complimenten naar de koks.

Na een goede ervaring een half jaar terug weer een bezoekje gewaagd. Echter was van die goede ervaring na het hartelijke ontvangst niets meer te merken. Nadat een tafel was toegewezen was er een half uur lang niemand te zien. Dan krijg je toch wel een behoorlijk droge keel. Na iemand van het personeel te hebben aangeschoten konden we eindelijk wat bestellen, het duurde echter wederom een eeuwigheid eer dat gebracht werd. Ik merkte dat men zelfs met de bestelling terug naar de bar moest, omdat men zo lang had staan kletsen dat de schuimlaag van het bier al dood was geslagen. Om maar niet al te hongerig te worden maar een breekbrood met smeerseltjes besteld. Die vervolgens niet kwam. Deze bleek later bij een andere tafel geserveerd te zijn. Dus maar de hoofdgang besteld. 2x chateaubriand besteld… maar helaas, men had er maar één. Euh, serieus? Op een zaterdagavond? Maar vooruit, gekozen voor een alternatief, onze magen begonnen inmiddels ook al te protesteren. Dit werd dan alsnog binnen redelijke tijd geserveerd, echter was het een soort spoorzoekertje: de gekozen sausjes en extraatjes stonden bij allen op de verkeerde borden. Maar prima, na de uitruil konden we beginnen. Vlees (1x chateaubriand en 2x ossenhaas) was redelijk, echter wel wat aan de “overbakte” kant. Rare was eerder medium, en medium was ook wat droog. Jammer, want voor deze stukken vlees mag je toch bij elkaar zo’n 150 euro neertellen. Dan mag je er ook wel iets van kwaliteit van verwachten, lijkt mij. En een nieuw drankje erbij was ook erg leuk geweest, maar geen personeelslid wat nog in de buurt kwam om te vragen of alles naar wens is, of dat we nog iets zouden willen drinken. Die hadden meer aandacht voor elkaar dan voor de gasten. Rondkijkend in het restaurant waren we gelukkig niet de enige: vrijwel elke tafel stond vol met lege glazen. Of nog vol servies en etensresten terwijl de gasten al een uur met de noorderzon waren vertrokken. Wij besloten dan, na de maaltijd, er dan ook maar voor om het dessert over te slaan, en thuis maar een afzakkertje te gaan pakken. Wat eigenlijk te erg voor woorden is. Uiteindelijk nog 10% korting gekregen vanwege de slechte service, echter voor de uiteindelijke rekening hadden we liever een leuke avond gehad. Tenslotte: op weg naar de uitgang viel ons op, dat de tafels die zich het dichtst bij de bar bevonden, wel goed waren voorzien van gevulde glazen. Blijkbaar hadden we te maken met een bedieningsbeleid van “out of sight, out of mind”. En wij zaten dus duidelijk in een verdomhoekje. Wat niet zo had hoeven te zijn met wat beter geïnstrueerd personeel, en een betere manager “slash” gastvrouw. Want ook deze heb ik in 3 uur tijd slechts een maal even om de hoek zien kijken. Hoe moeilijk is het om elk kwartier even een ronde door je zaak te lopen om een en ander aan te sturen? Maar om af te sluiten: na een eerder fijne ervaring was dit een regelrechte domper. Blijkbaar zijn ervaringen uit het verleden niet altijd een garantie voor de toekomst. Dit was in ieder geval mijn laatste bezoek aan K&K.

Pleasant service. Changing tables was no problem either. It was busy so we had to wait quite a while between courses. We had a cheese tasting beforehand. The cheese was too cold for my taste, but tasty. But I thought the whole thing (3 pieces of cheese per person, 2 sips of cheese soup and 1 hot snack accompanied by 3 pieces of toast, which is not convenient for 2 people) was a good price: 12.50 p.p. Then I had the trio carpaccio xl with fries and my husband prime rib. There were some fries and some (boring) raw vegetables. The trio carpaccio was tasty, but I couldn't really taste the difference between the meats, the fries were fine. I think it is a shame that a varied bowl of lettuce is not served per 2 people. The music was jazz, not exactly our taste and quite annoying if you have to listen to it for a long time. We sat close to the kitchen. What we noticed is that cheap buns are used for the burgers and that all the sauces came from bottles. So everything is labor intensive. Considering what we spent (a total of more than 120 euros for 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 dessert, 1 coffee and 6 beers), I don't think the price-quality ratio is in balance. Good food, but for that price you would expect better.

We sat near the door that new guests regularly left open and it was cold as it was freezing outside. They had taken several measures, but it did not help much. Fortunately, we were allowed to move to a place at the back of the store. Good service! Beautiful interior. My friend ordered the salmon salad as a main course. This was so little that we thought it was a starter. Even less than a lunch salad. Then don't put it on the map. I had the Gouda cheese fondue which was great! Whole plate full of different raw vegetables, potatoes and bread. Great that you can order a single cheese fondue here. I thought the pear dessert was tasty but also sparse.

There was something to celebrate today, so we spontaneously went out for dinner. The children were with us so we got there early (5:30 PM on a Saturday) and there was hardly anyone there. We had not made a reservation, but we were still able to get a spacious table until 7:00 PM. The advantage of this was that we could also benefit from the "early cow" deal. You get a 10% discount if you pay before 6:45 PM. The employees were very friendly and we were able to order drinks almost immediately. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time afterwards, without a card at all. Fortunately, the menu is online and we were able to decide in advance what we wanted to eat. When the order was finally taken, it didn't take very long before we received our food. The children really liked the children's menus, and they are also nice portions for children. My daughter had the chicken nuggets and my son the hamburger. The only downside is that at least my son did not like the (fried) onion on it. The Provencal cheese fondue is definitely recommended, you get a lot of different things with it. It's funny that usually the things you put in are finished before the cheese, but here it was the other way around. But it is certainly tasty and filling. All in all we had a nice evening, there is a pleasant atmosphere and in general you receive quick and good service. I do recommend booking in advance

Delicious burgers and surprisingly tasty special starters

Altijd fijn om een avondje uit eten te gaan bij Koeien en Kaas. Altijd een goede bediening met aardige bediening. Een ander tafeltje was geen probleem en het eten was weer van een goede kwaliteit! Geweldig!

Unfortunately, I thought the carpaccio that I ordered had less flavor, quite a lot of beans on it and I also found the ribeye disappointing in my opinion. Furthermore, a nice restaurant, quite busy, we were on a Thursday, so it is useful to make a reservation in advance, which we did. Staff were friendly.

Had dinner here tonight for Boxing Day. A special Christmas menu had been put together for this purpose. I am a vegetarian myself, and the menu indicated which starters were vegetarian, and meat could be omitted from the fondue. However, it was not mentioned that the amuse was a cracker with ham, so I skipped that round. Furthermore, the service was inattentive and clumsy. Cutlery was forgotten, courses were placed on a single plate for multiple people, and part of the entree was missing. Furthermore, the choice available was not exactly accessible. Things like pathe/jam/duck were served (yes, as one dish together…), which made it difficult to enjoy every part of the course. Furthermore, they were not told that the chutney on the cheese board costs extra money, it was simply added without asking. That cost another €3, on top of a menu that already costs €64. Overall the food is really nice, but the menu choices and service were disappointing, and the prices are not quite right. Furthermore, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service friendly.

Reserved using Early Cow. Payment before 6:45 PM is a 10% discount. Since we had to leave early, that was nice. Reception is fine. Cozy, tastefully decorated. Starter Carpaccio classic and Asian style. Both very tasty, but the Asian style could have been a bit more Asian. Main course Rib eye. Well grilled and exactly how we wanted it. The knife is a bit exaggerated, but at least it is sharp. Sticky Cinnamon Bun for dessert. Tasty, but the sauce was lacking and the bun was not very sticky. Certainly tasty but room for improvement. All in all a good meal but certainly not cheap.

Als wij oppas hebben voor de kinderen, komen wij altijd eten bij Koeien en Kaas. Super vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke sfeer en heerlijk eten! Ik zou het iedereen aanraden! Wij komen zeker vaker terug :-)

Echt heerlijk genoten van de kaasfondue en steaks! Onwijs uitgebreid aanbod. De sfeer is erg gezellig en de bediening zorgt er voor dat jij een fantastisch avond hebt.

Kaas fondue was lekker en de bediening was aardig. Het was alleen wel erg rommelig in de bediening. Je geeft aan om de kaasfondues in aparte fondues te willen (omdat zij dit vroegen) en toch krijg je het in 1 fondue samen. Het ene bord met vleeswaren heeft 4 verschillende soorten en het ander alleen twee verschillende soorten. Één halve Chai latte en de andere twee aan tafel hadden twee volle glazen. Vieze wijnglazen en vies bestek. En voor €10,00 een halve kleine peer met wat koekkruimels en als je dan vraagt of je het bolletje vanille ijs mag aanpassen naar een andere smaak dan doen ze dit graag zonder je te vertellen dat dit 0,50 cent extra kost. Nu gaat het natuurlijk niet om die 0,50 cent maar nadat je een halve chai latte geserveerd krijgt en dan een halve kleine peer en een half bolletje ijs en dan daarvoor extra gerekend word is dat natuurlijk best belachelijk. De serveerster gaf wel aan dat dit zo in de keuken besloten was..

Prima restaurant, ruime opstelling van de tafels, lekker vlees, vriendelijke bediening. Dicht bij de ingang wel kans op tocht

Erg duur voor wat je krijgt. De bediening was vriendelijk. Nagerecht helemaal schandalig, half bolletje ijs, halve peer, en koek kruimels. 10, euro. Restaurant heeft een gezellige uitstraling. Maar het ene bord is beter gevuld dan de andere, ookal bestel je het zelfde als je partner.

Goed bereikbaar en aardige personeel

Hier een avondje gegeten. Sfeer is prima. Service prima, soms een beetje té aanwezig. Wel erg vaak bij onze tafel om te vragen of het naar wens was. Serveerster was niet erg op de hoogte van de kaart. Menu van de dag werd opgelezen en op vragen over gerechten van de kaart werd onjuiste informatie verstrekt, wat mijn keuze voor het gerecht (negatief) beïnvloed heeft. (Trio van carpaccio zou oa gerookte zalm hebben,maar bij het per ongeluk serveren van de de trio carpaccio ipv klassieke,bleek dat het zo te zijn) De trio van hamburgers was lekker, evenals de bijgestelde gegrilde groente. Carpaccio xxl vrij vlak van smaak. Niet erg diner waardig,meer een lunch gerecht. Toetje sticky cinnamon bun deed totaal geen recht aan zijn naam. Niks sticky aan. Een droog kaneel broodje met goedkoop vanille sausje en al deels gesmolten klein bolletje ijs. Teleurstellend voor de bijna 10 euro die je hiervoor betaald. Prima gegeten, maar niet een plek waar ik snel terug zal komen om opnieuw te komen eten. Slot van toilet is onhandig. Je sluit jezelf op of krijgt het niet op slot.

Uitstekende kwaliteit eten! Ook de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is zeer goed. Vriendelijk en vrolijk personeel in een sfeervolle zaak. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Zoutpotjes niet gevuld. we waren met 4 personen. de drankbestelling kwam in 4 verschillende stappen evenals het eten. Je zat dus niet gezellig met zijn 4n te toasten of te eten omdat het leveren steeds heel verschillend was. Het eten was prima. De bediening ook vriendelijk maar van efficiëntie kunnen ze nog wat leren.

Heerlijk gegeten, fijn dat je echt kan bestellen bij de bediening en niet via een app. Bediening is vriendelijk. Kaasfondue was erg lekker. Proeverij van koeien en kaas was lekker maar wel wat aan de prijs voor wat je krijgt Koffie ook prijzig , jammer dat je voor havermelk extra moet betalen. Maar een leuke tent en we komen zeker nog eens terug.

Hele vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten in een gezellige omgeving. Manager heeft ons prima geholpen met het activeren van de gift voor you kado. Zeer zeker komen we nog eens lekker eten . Een aanrader.

Leuke zaak, personeel was vriendelijk, maar nam soms wel teveel eigen initiatief om zaken voor gasten in te vullen. De tafel schikking moest veranderd want al het eten was op een bord gedaan zodat er gedeeld lon worden. Niet echt gastvrij. Eten was lekker en op smaak. Sfeer van de locatie was ruim voldoende. Geen heel uitgebreide kaart, maar voor elk wat wils. Ze zitten ook leuke plek in centrum Zoetermeer.

Vanavond voor de 1e keer gegeten. Wij hebben genoten. Heerlijk eten, ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, die erg hun best deed om het iedereen naar de zin te maken. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!!!!

De fijne ambiance en betrokken bediening is een verademing ten opzichte van andere restaurants waar ik wel eens kom. De carpaccio vooraf is heerlijk. De dry aged beef als hoofd was prima. Helaas ook hier weinig side dishes inclusief bij het hoofdgerecht en in zou ook aanraden er nog een of twee items bij te kiezen voor de gemiddelde en grotere eters. Tipje voor het restaurant om dit ook wat meer te promoten, daar de side dishes niet bij de hoofdgerechten op het menu staan, maar een pagina verder. Dit was de tweede keer dat wij het restaurant bezochten en een volgende keer is zeker niet uitgesloten.

Mooie locatie. Goede service en prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Vriendelijke manager die haar zaakjes goed onder controle heeft.

Ouderwets heerlijk gegeten. Fijne service, smaakvolle gerechten, prachtig opgediend en ook originele combinaties. Naast dat het restaurant een mooie kleurrijke uitstraling heeft vonden we, niet onbelangrijk, de stoelen heerlijk zitten in de rug en de ronde tafels fijn als je met een ongelijk aantal mensen bent. We hadden veel verschillende gerechten maar alles was even smaakvol en verrassend.

Zoals altijd lekker gegeten, geweldige service en super gezellig!

Zeker komen we hier nog eens terug. Leuke kaart ,moeilijk om een keuze te maken. Aanrader kaassoep, carpaccio, kaasfondue... wij konden buiten zitten ivm mooie weer. Leuk op het pleintje, tafeltje was wat gammel en een tafel kleedje of placemat geen overbodige luxe als tip. Zit banken met kussens prima. Bediening erg vriendelijk! Prijs is gemiddeld vergelijk met andere restaurants.
