One of the better specialty coffee shops in Maastricht. It would be nice if they could buy a piece of the pie in the back for outdoor seating. Friendly service. It would be nice if they designated a few more tables "laptop-free" on weekends.

The coffee is delicious and the staff is friendly. However, I find it so incredibly crowded and noisy here that, as a sensitive person, I want to leave immediately. I'm writing this for anyone who might benefit from knowing this beforehand. This place isn't an option for me, except on a very quiet weekday afternoon, if I'm lucky. Unfortunately, you can't have a proper conversation here because there are people in front of you, behind you, next to you, a long line down the middle all the way to the door, and then there's all the noise from the machines in the middle of the store and the clearing of dishes.

Probably my favorite coffee in the city, though not my favorite spot to sit, since it’s almost always packed and rarely ideal for studying. Still, as Barney Stinson would say, the coffee IS excellent. Price-wise, it’s about city average for specialty coffee. They offer a few pastries and cakes. As someone from the Basque Country, I’m always surprised by how many places here offer Basque burnt cheesecake. I haven’t tried theirs yet, but I definitely plan to. Staff are mostly young and welcoming, and the overall vibe is genuinely positive.

I went to Koffie on my first day in Maastricht because I needed a place to sit and work. I tried the matcha, it was delicious! And perfect temperature! And the cinnamon roll was incredibly good. I liked it so much that I went back the next day for another matcha, this time planning to relax with my Kindle and read for a while. I really love how the place is set up. There’s a bar where you can sit with your laptop, shared tables, and super comfortable armchairs where you can hang out with friends or even share the space with strangers (which is exactly what happened to me). I also like how the service works, simple and smooth. You order and pay at the counter, and then they bring your coffee and food to your table if it needs to be prepared. Bakery items you can grab right away. It’s a really pleasant space to work, read, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee. I left wanting to try the almond croissant!! it was sold out both times I went back, even after visiting twice more! Definitely need to try it on my next visit.

Had a really good cortado here, partner had a latte: very milky almost no coffee: just so you know in case that is or isn’t your thing. Great coffee overall, good vibe.

I ordered bread with cheese and onion. The cutlery, which was touching the bread, wasn't clean; there were still food scraps on it. Ugh, yuck! Not enough cheese; at least, I barely tasted it. Ten euros!!! If you sit at the larger table, other people will add the used dishes to yours. There's not enough cleaning up. The taste is subpar. The hygiene is completely inadequate.

The cappuccino with pea milk was pretty good. The marble cake was also good. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff friendly. Free water is available at the bar.

Great coffee and food. But, guys, do something with acoustic. You should have some stuff that consumes sounds because it is extremely loud there. And it is proven by studies that it increases adrenaline and cortisol hormones which is not healthy. It would be much beeter atmosphere there is if you solved the acoustics.

It was a bit too trendy, where you had to pick up your food yourself at the bar. It was quite noisy inside, but the food made up for it: very tasty, as was the coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful. A very tasty breakfast and a great experience.

Best breakfast I've ever had. Ordered a cortado, iced latte, and grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was perfect!!! HIGHLY recommend the grilled cheese sandwich. Service is SUPER friendly and very fast. The atmosphere is super cute and cozy. I think it's a great place to study and work. I'd love to come back.

Loved it! The coffee was excellent, and the setup was perfect—workstations in the back for focus and quiet, and tables in the front to enjoy time with company. Despite the place being crowded, the service was impressively fast. Highly recommended!

My friends introduced me to this place. We arrived around 10:30, and the restaurant was bustling with activity. Fortunately, we managed to secure a table for ourselves. The ambiance was great, the coffee was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Thanks to my friends, I’ll definitely be returning soon.

KOFFIE is a great place to sit down for a drink with friends or to grab a coffee to go. The coffee is strong, yet has a lovely earthy taste that’s best enjoyed with regular or plant-based milk. It’s also excellent as an iced option on a hot summer day. We also tried the carrot cake, which was exceptional — moist and flavourful, with warm cinnamon notes. The citrusy buttercream on top is creamy and rich in flavour, and it pairs well with the chopped walnuts, which add a nice crunch and texture. The staff are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere inside the café is pleasant. They even have dedicated laptop spaces with plugs for studying or work. It may get a bit noisy at times, but most people there don’t seem to mind.

I had the beetroot toast and it was really delicious!

The decor is stylish and minimalist, and the cappuccino was very good. The many plants added to the charm. The only negative point was the restrooms, which were unclean and stuffy. Furthermore, the changing table was at shoulder height, which made the process considerably more difficult.

I recommend this place, the coffee is very good and the barista know their stuff. The slow coffee ( V60 ) was so good, well prepared. The food was so yummy, i devored the granola chocolat bar, and the banana bread was soooooo flufy ! The overalls experience was fine as well, we were able to read some newspaper while taking our breakfast and the place is cosy with free internet and good music.

Amazing caffe, the food is delicious. There are dedicated working spots to study as well as space for all visitors. Very friendly staff that make the experience so much more enjoyable.

Great cafe. Also very well attended. Finding space wasn't so easy but the café was very tasty and the avocado toast was also delicious. Unfortunately a bit expensive but 13€ for a loaf of bread is no longer unusual these days!

We have tested a lot and can say with certainty: this is the best espresso in town! And in all variants. The crowd is relatively trendy and cool, but families with small children still find their place here. There is also a student audience who works on laptops, reads newspapers (!) or plays chess - and ensures a good mix. Here every coffee bean is worth its cent. Top recommendation

Just out of the busy center. Pleasantly laid out. Nice music. Especially many young students with laptops. Ample opportunity to charge electronics. Open kitchen. Can be ordered at the counter. Delivered to your table.Hangs together with the shop next door. Wifi available. No cookie or chocolate with your coffee :(

Food delicious, service underground. You first have to look for a table and then get in line. Difficult because you can't sit and stand in line at the same time. But the order isn't delivered, so what's the point of the table... After the coffee was empty, I went back and asked for the cake. Oops, forgot. So I stand and wait while 4 ladies continue to make and distribute coffee. After a while I ask again, oops I forgot again, even though I'm standing right in front of her and waiting. It couldn't be worse.

Excellent place, great atmosphere and good latte! They have plant based options for milk and vegan options for cakes and sweets. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Maastricht, even just for a takeaway coffee.

One of the best coffee shops in town! Super cozy, great coffee, and mouthwatering desserts. The place may look like a coffee shop, but it’s much more. It’s a place to sip great coffee, enjoy delicious cakes, eat, and work (available separate stations for laptops).. staff were super friendly and helpful! In my opinion, this cozy café has the best coffee in the city. This quality is also known locally and therefore it can be a bit crowded, which is why it is often difficult to get a place. Nevertheless, a visit is definitely worth it. Due to its proximity to the library, this is also a regular café for many students.

I have been waiting inside for almost 50 minutes for my order to be taken and still nobody cares. Subpar service.

I found this Café while looking for a place to have breakfast and it rly didn't disappoint! I enjoyed the simple interior design, staff was nice and fast and the food and coffee was fresh and well made. I had a chilli cheese sandwich and my mom had a avocado bread. The chilli cheese sandwich was definitely more on the spicier side, but for me personally that was exactly what I wanted so I am Glad they actually make it spicy! :D

5 stars across the board. Love coming to this coffee shop which also offers some decent dishes in addition to baked goods. Another great thing is how the place is divided into two areas; one for people chatting and one for people with computers.

Very tasty coffee specialties. It was quite busy when we were there (Friday lunchtime), but the atmosphere was still pleasantly relaxed. The avocado bread was very tasty.

This place is a joke, way too expensive, the coffee is serve in a really tiny cup that could not be more small because they can't, and the menu is just not enough even for breakfast but still very expensive. Had to buy a sandwich somewhere else later

Amazing coffee and a very nice service. The atmosphere was amazing, lot f young people, working and talking and it seemed like a very lively place - like a good place to be at. Also a great plus is that you can sit outside the window when its not cold and rainy and watch the people walk by. Absolutely recommend this in Maastricht.

I came there for the first time and went to sit at the table after the bar. I waited for 15min but no waiter arrived. One lady was picking up the table and passed next to me 3 times and then I decided to ask her if I can order. She just said ‘at the bar’. I’m sure she saw me entering the bar because I smiled to her when I entered, and she saw me waiting to order. She just ignored to inform me that ordering is at the bar. She also turn her head when I was leaving. The rest of the experience was nice, other stuff members were ok but next time I’m in Maastricht, I will go to some other place for breakfast.
