Unfortunately I had a bad experience here... Had never been here before and wanted to have a coffee with a colleague, but was not inside and the employee (blond woman with glasses) immediately came to say that she did not want to see any laptops! it had just been open for 20 seconds, when she came to us to place the order she clearly didn't think it was okay that we only wanted to order coffee... "well um guys um come on... it's a lunch place isn't it" I really thought for a moment that I was being pranked... and the group next to us were also silent about it... So despite the name Koffiehuis, be careful if you just want coffee you'll almost get hit on the head... and it wasn't even that busy. when we were there, so an excuse for table space for customers is not going to be possible.. in short, it's a shame to chase your customers away like that.. I understand that if someone takes up an entire table for 2 hours with 1 coffee, that is not okay, but we had just arrived and simply wanted coffee during our fifteen minute break.. this was not okay.

How nice. I really like nice enamel advertising signs, especially the neon advertising signs from Amstelbier. Service very friendly, the meatballs and the coffee very tasty. We will definitely visit regularly.

Gave the place a try after reading the good reviews. Unfortunately, I have never felt so unwelcome in a place in my life. The owner is incredibly rude without cause, and even though this is called a coffee house, they only serve tiny cups of watered down filter coffee - or at least that's what it tasted like. Don't waste your money - there are plenty other small businesses that actually want new customers.

The name suggests that you can come in here for a cup of coffee, but this turned out to be a bad idea around dinner time. My colleague and I paid for those few cents, but we were literally told that a table was occupied. It is also good to know that working on a laptop is prohibited here. Unfortunately, there will be no follow-up with the rest of our colleagues

Very bad, I like to come there myself, but I will never come again. I gave my daughter money to get some fries yesterday, it was raining hard! Had to look at the menu outside and eat her fries outside with 2 girls in the rain. You can pay 4.50 euros, but you cannot eat at a table. Very customer friendly, just called but Mrs. shouts at you. Children are inferior to Mrs. 2 construction workers felt sorry for you. Mrs. indicates that the children are not welcome inside.

On a nice working day we had to do a small job in Haarlem. When I got there I called the carpenter and he came with the redeeming words. The caretaker doesn't arrive until 8am😂 So I said to my colleague! Mate, we just need to bridge for an hour🤣☕ And let me know the perfect coffee house ☕☕👍🏻👍🏻 We went to the Rotonde, sat down and had 3 cups of coffee and some strong stories left after an hour. The owner is a great guy and he makes delicious coffee, so all in all it is a great place. If it suits me, I'll go again🥰👍🏻☕

Had a lovely lunch, feels like an 'old-fashioned' cozy with lovely owners. Lovely terrace on the water at the back. Delicious fresh orange juice, coffee and ham and cheese omelette: less than €14 together and very tasty!

Discovered a super nice and cozy coffee house this afternoon, very tasty sandwiches (lots of choice) and delicious meatballs In short, worth repeating!

Working from home all the this is my go to lunch place if I can peel myself away. Best thing is that they also accept my dog as a bonus. Broodje bal or uitsmijter highly recommend!

Time stood still here! I wish there were more places like this one, where you could feel the authentic atmosphere and hospitality. The best part is the owner coming with a jug refilling coffee.

De lekkerste broodjes in Haarlem. Betaalbaar en een hele prettige bediening. Vriendelijke service en echt een aanrader. Soms kom ik langs als ik net klaar ben bij de sportschool voor een lekkere hap. Als het lekker weer is en de zon schijnt kan je aan het water zitten, dit is erg leuk. Ook kan je met je broodje langs om een broodje of drankje to-go mee kan nemen!

Top tentje, Leuke jaren 80 sfeer betaalbaar goed eten en gezellige mensen. Voelt soms een beetje aan als buurthuis omdat veel mensen terug komen en elkaar ondertussen kennen. Ik zou iedereen kunnen aanraden een keer de sfeer en het eten te komen proeven.

Na heel wat jaren er langs te zijn gereden. Nu eindelijk eens binnen geweest. Super lekkere gehaktballen serveren ze daar👍🏻

Soort huiskamer/bruine kroeg-gevoel krijg je als je hier binnen loopt. Heerlijke broodjes en ouderwetse koffie,gelukkig. De eigenaren zijn super relaxt en gezellig.

Wat een leuke, knusse en gezellige lokatie om te lunchen. Het ademt sfeer uit en je voelt je daar echt welkom. Alles is vers bereidt en erg lekker. Echt een aanrader voor een ieder die gewoon ff een lekker hapje en drankje wil doen.
