Sushi is always fast and good! Great staff, I go there often.

Went over there to eat at New Years eve. The quality of food was great and staff were friendly and helpful (Also explained in detail, how the ordering system works).

Delicious food!👌 Where there are people, it's always noisy. I don't mind that. You should rent a private restaurant, then you can be sure it's completely silent. I had no idea there were those half-deep benches around the corner when you enter. But that's a cozy place to sit!😃 We really enjoyed ourselves and had a fantastic meal. The service was simply top-notch; they neatly clear everything off the plates and glasses in between rounds. Very friendly staff, especially the dark-skinned gentleman (manager) who walks along with us, is always service-minded. I come from the hospitality industry myself, worked in it for years, and I know what service means. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food takes an incredibly long time. Many dishes that should have been hot are cold. The glass of wine smells, and when I reported it, there was barely any reaction. When I mentioned that a lot of sushi hadn't arrived yet, I was told, "Yes, it's busy." We've been there for over an hour and a half and are still waiting for sushi from the first round. Highly recommended.

I mentioned that I was a vegan and received excellent service. The staff were very helpful and helped me order dishes that accommodated the allergens. The food was delicious. Thank you!

Well, it's definitely more like a food court: all the sushi flavors piled together on a plate that's too small, the flavors aren't great, there's very little fish, glasses aren't collected, or only bottled drinks are brought, and a dessert buffet is too easy... Guests next to you are making long video calls that don't get addressed...

I regularly order food from here, and it's usually always good. This time, the wrong order was delivered, which happens. I called after dinner and texted photos. They insisted it was fine, which is a shame. They clearly don't know how to provide good service. I won't order from them again.

We come here often. The food is always good, and there's always plenty of service, so appetizers arrive very quickly. You can help yourself to dessert at the back of the restaurant. There's always a good selection of ice cream, fresh fruit pastries, and so on. On the downside, it's not cheap, but then you won't be disappointed if something on the menu isn't available or isn't prepared properly (e.g., squid rings).

My girlfriend went out with some friends. She is allergic to nuts and told the waitress. However she got an allergic reaction to the food. The waitress insisted that was not possible since no nuts are used in the kitchen (quite rude). Even though she provided my girlfriend with a different nut free menu. Additionally the restaurant served saté with peanut sauce. We found this service of the waitress all very weird. On top of that my girlfriend had to pay full price for the ‘all you can eat’ even though she couldn’t eat because of her allergic reaction.

The food was okay, although I got sick after eating here. So I definitely won't be back. The service was fast but the staff was very distant.

The ambiance was nice and the staff were welcoming. Even on a Friday evening, they found me a table and explained the menu well. The sushi I had was delicious, but the service was quite slow. Both of my orders took a very long time to arrive, even after I asked a few times. In the end, I waited too long and decided to leave after finishing my noodles. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, but the service really needs improvement. If this is how it is on a Friday night, they might need more staff or better coordination. Unfortunately, the long waiting time ruined the overall experience.

We had a quick bite to eat here after the cinema. Plenty of parking around the venue and friendly service. Inside, it's spacious, and the service is via tablet. Food and drinks arrive very quickly. For ice cream or a salad, you can easily walk to the buffet. In short, a delicious meal and a quick connection to the A9.

In a way, the waitstaff rationalize themselves out of the equation, which is unfortunate. The food tasted excellent, but the portions were a bit small. However, given the high quality of the food, this is still acceptable. Conclusion: If you value efficiency and modern processes, this is the place for you. I had never heard of Kokusai myself, but after doing some research I came across this, Had a nice meal here with the family, We came with a group of 11 people, we got 2 tablets where we could order what we wanted. Super good restaurant excellent

We ate à la carte there. Fried chicken schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and grilled salmon. We were very satisfied. We'll be back and have sushi.

I do not recommend visiting this establishment, in the city of Beverwijk in the same restaurant both drinks and alcohol are included in the price, but here you have to pay for drinks separately, €100 for two people is too much. All the food was very greasy.

Eet hier graag glutenvrije sushi. Allergenen kaart klopt niet met de allergenen. Ze zetten dat overal gluten in zitten, echter om zichzelf in te dekken. Ik ben pas een keer ziek geworden van glutenvrij eten, toen ik peking eend at wat op de allergenen kaart stond aangegeven als glutenvrij. Sindsien weet ik goed wat ik er wel en niet met bestellen. Personeel niet altijd goed op de hoogte van diegene die glutenvrij moet eten. Geef bij reservering aan glutenvrij, er staat nooit glutenvrije soja saus klaar. Moet er altijd om vragen. Verder lekker verse sushi.

Kokusai Alkmaar is an excellent all-you-can-eat restaurant that stands out for the quality of the dishes offered. The menu is varied and well curated, with a wide selection of sushi, hot dishes and Japanese specialities, all prepared with fresh ingredients and well presented. The service was surprisingly fast, even though the place was quite crowded. The waiters have always been attentive, kind and helpful, ready to satisfy every request with a smile. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, perfect both for a dinner with friends and for a special occasion. A truly positive experience that I recommend to anyone looking for a quality all you can eat in Alkmaar.

Cozy tent and really good sushi!! Orders come in a continuous flow even though it was busy. The extensive dessert buffet is also highly recommended.

We hebben voor de hotelmenukaart gekozen . Het hoofdmenu was erg royaal Het dessertbuffet als nagerecht is een geweldige aanrader. Je kan ook kiezen voor all you can eat. Vriendelijk personeel en snelle bediening. Locatie naast het hotel Alkmaar is heel fijn als je daar een overnachting hebt.

Manmanman...we ate delicious sushi here! We have eaten in many all you can eat restaurants, but this one stands out for the sushi. We didn't really get around to the meat dishes so no judgment on that...but we did have some fried dishes and they were fine. I don't know what some people are complaining about the service? Staff did their utmost and were super friendly...despite the restaurant being packed. We live far away, but when we are back in Alkmaar?...it will definitely be in the book

The restaurant itself looks nice, nice decor with enough space between the tables. The staff is incredibly friendly and there is parking in front of the door. Ordering is done via a tablet, which is very easy. What is a shame is that the descriptions of the dishes are not very clear. When you click on the dish itself for more information, you get virtually no additional information, which in my opinion could really use an update. The paper menu contains a little more information (but not much) If you have an allergy, you must inform the staff, who can then set the allergies on the tablet so that you can see what you can and cannot eat. This sounds very promising, but in reality it was unfortunately less successful. First of all, for everything you want to order, you will receive a message on the screen that this dish cannot be made without the set allergens. I personally find this a disturbing message because it is constantly displayed, while someone else in the group wants to order this dish and of course not the person with the allergy. We had hoped that you could just look at each dish to see which ingredients (and therefore also allergens) were in it and that on that basis the person with the allergy could choose what he wants (and can) eat, that's it. That's how it turned out in the end, except that for almost every dish the message appeared when ordering, which was just very annoying. In addition, someone in our group has an allergy to pork, not that she does not eat pork due to religious beliefs or the like, but literally an allergy to pork. We indicated this, after which the tablet was set up. However, we think that this does not exist as an allergy in the tablet because no dish was indicated that it contained pork. This while babi pangang is made 100% from pork and here too nothing was included. This made it extremely difficult for her to order anything because she (understandably) had doubts about everything. Ultimately (after we made inquiries ourselves) it turned out that they don't serve anything with pork except the babi pangang. This of course made ordering a lot easier for our group, but I think this should have been in that tablet. We found the food itself mediocre. Even though it was not busy at all and the dishes were delivered super quickly, many dishes were lukewarm or on the cold side. The meat also tasted a bit strange, we did not eat it, the 'hot beef' tasted anything but hot and the cow lu kai was fried too hard. I also thought that the dishes could use a little more sauce. The sushi looked great and was tasty, so I think you're in the right place if you only go for the sushi. (It's a shame that you have to pay extra for certain sushi) However, we are not really sushi lovers, so for us this was not actually the right restaurant choice. We thought it was quite pricey overall and wouldn't go back again, but if you only go for the sushi it might be worth it.

Food was fine. We made a reservation in advance and were given a table with a bench where the ATM and cutlery were stacked at the back of the bench. This was also used as a meeting place for staff and the placement of the trash can. Not very nice if you are eating next to the trash can! After a few minutes we asked for another table. Unfortunately this was not possible. The food was fine. The setting unfortunately less so. New round, new opportunities. Small-scale renovations have been carried out to improve flow. This time I requested a specific table. Great placement now. Food also great. I saw that placement at the back of the bar is still being worked on. This seems to me to be an area for improvement for the future.

Very badly organized on 2nd Christmas eve my mother is disabled and blind we booked close to the door so she did not have far too walk when we got there they had us all the way in the back with bad lightning my mom could not manage it but that was very badly received and seating organiser was very terrible and not receptive to change will not be going back and will not recommend it to my customers. It's too bad they didn't even care. Says a lot about the resturant ......

The food is perfect. It's just a pity that the menu keeps changing and that you now have to pay extra for lamb chops, etc. It is already quite on the pricey side, especially for small children. A lot has also gone wrong lately when it's busy. And sometimes you have to wait a long time for something and it doesn't arrive in the next round.

Whenever I come here with my family, it is pleasant, cozy and the food is always excellent. We have tested plenty of sushi and grill restaurants, but Kokusai Alkmaar is the standout for us. See you soon Koksusai Alkmaar.

It's not all about sushi, if you like sushi but more. This is the place. My kids' favourite restaurant.

Kokusai offers an All-you-can-eat Sushi formula where you place your orders via a tablet. After activating the tablet, the time starts: you can use the tablet for 2½ hours to order food. After that time it remains possible to order drinks for a fee. You can order 3 items from the menu per person per round. And after each round there is a 9-minute cooldown before you can order again. In itself an excellent system, although the tablet is actually just a bit too slow to call the experience smooth. The sushi is served per 2 pieces and is of excellent quality. Very tasty and clearly freshly prepared. There are also various fish and meat dishes on the menu. They weren't as spectacular as the sushi during my visit, but certainly not bad. Finally, there is a desert bar where you can choose your own dessert (or like everyone else: desserts). Different types of ice cream, pastries, profiteroles, bacon biscuits, marshmallows and, yes, even a chocolate fountain. The service during the visit was smooth and friendly. The location is not very special and lacks atmosphere, but that could also be because it was very quiet. Parking is plentiful and free. The all you can eat price is a bit on the high side, but the quality is there. All in all, definitely recommended!

Ate here on Saturday the 23rd. The place was very busy, we had made a reservation a month in advance. Were put at a table and then forgotten. Ultimately we asked if someone could help us and received an explanation of how it works via a tablet. After 15 minutes still no tablet. Asked again! 1st order placed, part placed on the table after a long wait. Maybe soup was sent back cold. Another dish simply forgotten. Waitress again asked where the dish was. Conclusion bad service, bad food. Had her in a dish herself. Service again spoke to us about a long wait and hair in a dish. Her excuse was yes, it is very busy. You work in the catering industry, then you know that sometimes you have to run. Conclusion far too expensive concept for what you get.

Excellent all you can eat sushi and a dessert buffet is of course always good. As far as I'm concerned, the variety/choice in sushi could possibly be expanded. By the way, if you feel like having a drink, the €15 extra for drinks is not a bad part, but otherwise not necessary.

Delicious food, it took some getting used to the fact that all the snacks from our table companions were served together, but the food itself was top notch, fresh and tasty. Aperol Spritz was delicious and neither was the capuccino. It was not mentioned that there was also a small dessert buffet, but my table companion knew, a choice of ice cream, profiteroles and the chocolate fountain.

Ate here with colleagues. Ample parking space in front of the door. You order food via a tablet and it is delivered quickly. However, it is sometimes unclear what has already been ordered, so remembering it is useful. Food is good but sometimes greasy and salty. The portions are more than sufficient.

The food is tasty but they cannot handle large groups well. 2 tablets for 16 people is not enough. Also 1 table number was used in the beginning for 2 tablets, which means that all the food was placed on one point and the back part was left to eat for a very long time. unfortunately had to wait so I couldn't enjoy the all-in concept

We were put at a table and then forgotten. We didn't get a tablet (by the way, they use a really cheap bunch of tablets where you keep accidentally closing the app). Acoustics very poor which makes it sound very loud. Food was fine, but the portions were way too big, leaving you full after three rounds. All in all, not special for the price.

Restaurant gelegen naast Hotel Alkmaar, waar we logeerden. Hebben hotel menukaart gekozen omdat we niet zo graag sushi eten Vriendelijke ontvangst, zaak zat afgeladen vol, doch kregen toch snel tafel toegewezen. Wel even moeten wachten om onze bestelling op te nemen doch dat stoorde niet. Lekker gegeten, maar niet om langer te blijven zitten wegens de drukte.

Large restaurant, we had a quiet place in the back with 6 people. We had to wait a while for the table, even though we had made a reservation and the table was empty and set apart. Food came quickly, tasty sushi. Food looked and tasted fresh. Separate dessert buffet, neatly replenished. Only the glasses were always forgotten when bringing the drinks. Fortunately, this was quickly resolved. Easy parking in front of the door.

The concept was clearly explained upon arrival, and we sat comfortably for 2.5 hours. Ordering sushi via the iPad worked smoothly, and the food was served quickly. The portions, like the meat, were good. Sushi was excellent. All in all a nice experience.

More than 40 euros per person for a bland and uninteresting meal. Never seen such poor value for money in all of Europe. I don't recommend. Small bonus to the service telling me that they didn't have a charger to lend me during the meal even though I saw 3 free ones on the way out. To flee

Geweldige avond gehad. Goede service en aardig personeel. Heerlijke sushi en vlees. Handig bestelsysteem en alles wat je besteld wordt geleverd.

We know the place, it has systematically gotten worse. When we ordered a deluxe platter lactose-free, we were given a platter with just 6 different sushi, not enough according to the menu. It is worrying that we didn't even get an answer to our written request.

The desert table is the highlight of that meal, especially for children. There are many options for the self service desert. The sushi was ok, often with too much mayonnaise on top.

Finally a sushi all you can eat where you can not only eat good sushi, but also find great service & a good atmosphere! Top spot!
