I had a bad experience, mainly due to the extremely long delivery time. I expressed my disappointment, and they responded very politely. I think it's a class act when a branch takes responsibility.

After a bad experience at Mr Sushi, I placed an order here. Wow, what quality and customer service! The staff at this branch deliver top-notch quality and service. For good sushi and top-notch gyoza, this is the place to be.

We had to wait over two hours, I ordered before they opened so we could be the first for the kids. They went to bed without sushi. This makes no sense.

I initially received good help over the phone because something went wrong with my online order. Once ordered, it took two hours and fifteen minutes for the food to arrive. Once it arrived, one of the rolls was wrong, even though it was correct on the confirmation. All in all, a disappointment.

I had to wait 2.5 hours for my sushi. It arrived jumbled, and the fried shrimp wasn't crunchy but incredibly soft. I wouldn't order from here again.

Their sushi is fresh and delicious, but their website is terrible. This website must be someone's hobby project or something.

We ordered sushi through Lieferando. The food was excellent in both quality and taste. The only thing was that the delivery took two hours (although the delivery time was stated as 45-60 minutes). I was only given information after I asked.

After I placed my order by telephone, I was able to pick it up within 15 minutes. By the way, the business looked very neat and the sushi chef was wearing a hairnet. I was politely asked how many people the order was for, which I thought was very thoughtful. Once home I noticed that the sushi was super fresh. The sushi pieces were also a good size and delicious in taste. The wasabi was not weak and had the right kick...I will definitely come back to this Sushi Point because everything was very tasty and the service was great.

Order regularly from Sushipoint. We are very satisfied. Delicious sushi, freshly prepared. Delivery always happens at the desired time (on rare occasions a little too early or too late) and it is ready for collection.

What a terrible thing this is. (Owner can contact for photo evidence) I order at 5:20 PM via home delivery and it is confirmed at 7:40 PM. I wanted to cancel so I called 6 times, no answer. Then I went to the store to pick up because cancellation was not possible and I had to go to the movie at 8:00 PM. Just arrived at the branch in Alkmaar, I am received kindly and politely by the kitchen staff (compliments to them) who tell me that a colleague is coming who is sitting on the toilet. After arriving, I explained that it is annoying to only expect your order after 2.5 hours and what is even worse is that they do not answer their phone. I called them while I was inside and no phone rings and the music is playing quite loudly in the store. Contact person indicated that there may be a malfunction (that seems unlikely to me in 2024). Here I have a few free golden tips. 1 be accessible 2 puts out home delivery 3 If order is received an hour later, cancel it yourself as a company I also asked if I wanted to exchange a sushi roll for another one, but then I had to wait an hour and a half because the other receipts take precedence, so a customer who comes to pick up something is not a priority, very illogical. Asked if he was the manager or owner because I wanted to understand where his arrogant, stupid attitude came from, as an owner you can be unreasonable as staff, I don't think so. He was an employee who apparently is not hard on the business and does not leave a good friendly mark on people. Kitchen staff is top notch. When I got home I actually realized that I did not get my delivery costs back and no compensation. Also special. Sushi was okay, hot dishes such as yakitori spring roll and Japanese chicken were not tasty. Frozen crap. (This is an assumption) In short, if I didn't go, I had to wait until 7:40 PM, because cancellation is not possible because they don't answer their phone. Good strategy! Cheers

We ordered a sushi platter for two people. About 40 pieces. Everything is freshly prepared and you can watch it. Everything is also very hygienic!!! The meal was excellent!!!

No success. Ordered the double crisp menu and edamame beans. Food quality just adequate. Beans were not warm, without salt and difficult to open because they had not been boiled/steamed long enough. Sushi also sufficient. Some crispy rolls give the impression that they had been lying around for a while and had therefore become tough. Service is also excellent, on time.

In the past I had quite good experiences, so I decided to order here again after a long time. However, it was not a success. I ordered around 7:45 PM, but the sushi wasn't delivered until 9:45 PM. So after two hours! When I called after an hour and a half to check, the answer was: “It's busy”. That is of course possible, but you have to communicate it better. There were no apologies on the phone, nor later from the delivery person. Ultimately, there turned out to be a tenner voucher in the bag as a compensation, which is meager considering the order cost almost 40 euros. Finally, about the sushi, which unfortunately wasn't very good either. The crispy rolls fell apart and were not really crispy. The tataki salmon was cooked a little too long.

We regularly get freshly made, tasty Sushi here, but the last time was an accumulation of disappointment because, even though I asked if everything was complete because I simply live 46 km away, my order was not complete when I got home and I was missing a sushi box, so my son didn't get it. was able to enjoy it because he only likes one type of sushi. After a phone call and an apology, I could call 2 days later to pick up my paid, undelivered sushi. And despite my asking when I picked up whether everything was all right, it turned out to be the case again when I got home the wrong order was given. Again, well-intentioned telephone apologies, but this kind of carelessness makes enjoying otherwise excellent Sushi less fun.

Ordered through uber eats - delivered faster than the projected time both times I ordered from here during my stay in Alkmaar. However the eta wasn't updated through the app. Poke bowl portion was good. Loved the tuna with the crispy seaweed.

The sushi was delicious, there are vegetarian options so that's nice if you have a vegetarian person eating with you. Asparagus on sushi is a tasty combination. Overall good food. And they delivered on time.

I would like to start with a compliment for the delivery. The sushi was delivered quickly and on time, which is certainly appreciated. Sadly I have to say the quality of the sushi was disappointing. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I was really looking forward to it. But the sushi did not meet my expectations. The biggest problem was the taste. The fish did not seem fresh and had a strange aftertaste. The rice was too compact and had little flavor. The combinations of ingredients were also not well balanced, which made the sushi not tasty. I understand that tastes are subjective, but I have enough experience with sushi to know when the quality is not up to par. I'm sorry to say I don't plan on ordering from here again. I would like to see this restaurant work on the quality of the sushi, because the delivery was top notch. Hopefully in the future you can improve the sushi experience so that more customers will be satisfied.

The sushi was dirty, had a bitter taste. The staff was friendly. I can't recommend it, especially for the price.

It's a shame that the quality is so different. Picked up this afternoon in Alkmaar. The rice was dried out, the entire sushi was not creamy and lukewarm, like last time, but dry and cold rice. All in all, there was very little flavor this time. Gave 5 stars last time, but now unfortunately a real disappointment.

My father had turned 50 so of course I ordered sushi, SushiPoint had everything wrapped as presents and gave my father a little something. Super tasty, sweet, and fun. Great experience, sushi was tasty, ready to pick up quickly.

It wasn't fresh and it looked like it came out of the freezer. Up to twice. A lot can be improved.

A little late...with review. When I get home, my wife asks, do you have any sushi? @#$¥..huuu no. I immediately called Alkmaar. We get sushi in Alkmaar, because they are better than where we live, the taste is better, and no students make sushi and think it's a game. In short, I still had a voucher lying around. They were busy...but were able to pick it up in 30 minutes. Picked it up at the store and thanked them for the fast service ... and for their expertise. And once again it tastes perfect and nice and fresh...thanks again

Unfortunately, before I could say that I only wanted to order a standard sushi dish in the store itself, I was informed that the waiting time was 1.5 hours due to crowds... (it was around 5 o'clock and 2 customers in front of me also had ordered and were ready quite quickly (although it was on a Saturday, but still, you can't say "no" to customers at the counter). So next time I'll order via the website before I drive there. 🤔

Do not order from this restaurant. We waited more then 4 hours (closer to 5 hours) on New Years Eve for our sushi. Absurd. I ordered at 15:15 and there was a time listed of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Worst of all no one answered the phone on any of the occasions that I called. They wrote some smug response that it was a busy night and if I checked their website I could have gotten an update of waiting time. No apology that you sat around for hours waiting our meal. We were regulars and order a couple times a month. They won't be getting our business for a while.

We received 8 wrong rolls because the ones we ordered were new. We called immediately and they were very friendly and we quickly received the correct sushi rolls and a free seaweed salad! Great solution and great service, thank you!! The delivery person was also very nice.

I thought the service was really terrible, 2.5 hours after ordering the food we still hadn't received anything. Only after calling them were we told that it would be delivered in 10 minutes, much too late. After this experience I would not order from them again. Show how much a customer means to them.

It took them 3 hours to process our order, 2 hours of preparation and 40 minutes for the delivery person to arrive, even though it was quite a small order.

We order Sushi here every x number of weeks and it is almost always good. It's also nice that when it's a bit busy they call you to apologize that it's taking a little longer so that you can take it into account. Prices sometimes feel a bit high, but luckily you get quality in return.

Ist zwar eine Fast-Food Kette aber die Qualität ist sehr gut und alles wird frisch nach Bestellung zubereitet. Sehr schmackhafte Varianten von Maki und Nigri und da wo scharf draufsteht, ist auch scharf drin. Top!! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Yes bij thuiskomst door mijn gezin verrast met heerlijke sushi van Sushipoint Alkmaar. Wat heerlijk om deze lekkere sushi in eigen huis met elkaar te eten. Bezorging was weer keurig op tijd en vriendelijke bezorger.

Tastiest sushi in Alkmaar. Delivery sometimes a bit slow, but definitely worth the wait. If you specify a specific time, they will be right on time.

Nowadays it's easy to find Sushi and there are plenty of takeaway restaurants that will lure you into ordering what they claim to be a good quality Sushi. Look no further! Sushipoint delivers excellent food with an impressive presentation in elegant boxes. I had deep fried prawns delivered to my doorstep which were still crispy and juice as if they had been done there and then, not the oily slugs you normally end up with. I only had something similar when o visited Japan!! Absolutely recommend

I have ordered here before and have always been satisfied with the sushi, but this time the sushi did not taste fresh. Pity. Fish didn't taste fresh, rice was dry and avocado looked discolored too. All in all it didn't taste like usual.
