Had a delicious lunch this afternoon on a beautiful terrace with friendly service. The paprika coconut soup and the pulled chicken bread were both very tasty and recommended!

Had a quick lunch during this part of the pilgrimage! Admittedly, we had to deviate from the route for it, but that was a completely justified choice! Enjoyed a delicious lunch 🥪. Plenty of fuel for the rest of the day 🤪

6-9-2026 Spoordonk Went for dinner after 18 holes of Pitch & Putt. It is a bit pricey, but the service and quality are fine. A terrace to stop by while cycling, or to deliberately play a round of golf.

We had a great meal. All the guests were very satisfied! Highly recommended for everyone!

We celebrated our wedding at Komaen on June 20, 2026. The day was truly fantastically organized by Komaen! Communication with Niels was very pleasant right from the start. Everything was also perfectly arranged on the day itself, with Eva serving as a great point of contact. The ceremony was beautiful under the stunning tent, and afterwards we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food from the tuk-tuks on the terrace. The location itself is beautifully situated, and the surroundings are also stunning. Great for photos! In the evening, the party was also fantastically organized, with the wait staff being very attentive in asking if everyone had enough to drink. It was a hot day, but the staff did everything they could to keep it as cool as possible, allowing us to dance the night away! We heard nothing but praise for the staff from our guests. We enjoyed this special day immensely, and Komaen will forever be a special place for us! If you are still unsure about a wedding or party venue, we would definitely recommend Komaen!

A well-organized party in an atmospheric hall! The service was excellent, ensuring no one went without a drink, and the appetizers were delicious. The owner and staff are proactive in exploring possibilities, which contributed to our son being able to sleep soundly in an adjacent small room.

We were here last night with 8 people. Outside there were only tables with high chairs, so we sat inside. The 4 hamburger menus looked good. The 2 beef tenderloin skewers lay on the plate with a dollop of mashed potatoes, a tiny corn cob, and a strip of red onion peel... that was all! We got a small bowl of fries for 4 people included. For dessert, we ordered coffee with cherry monchou. The coffee arrived soon, but after fifteen minutes we asked where the dessert was. It was supposed to arrive in fifteen minutes. We decided we didn't want to wait any longer and asked for the bill. What a disappointment this was!!

They make good coffee here 👌 and the staff is very friendly.

What a fantastic day at Komaen! We enjoyed a delicious lunch, fun activities on the golf course, and a game of footgolf. Everything was well taken care of, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. To top it all off, we enjoyed a tasty BBQ, which made the day complete. And an absolute must: be sure not to forget to order the Heilige Eik Merenque for dessert or with your coffee. A delicious sweet treat that rounds off your visit perfectly! A great location for a day out with friends, family, or colleagues. We will definitely be back!

Actually very positive, but unfortunately poor service regarding drinks due to the crowds and (maybe) too little staff. A shame, especially when it is 30 degrees.

Football club and golf intertwined. Restless and unsafe

The comedy dinner was unfortunately disappointing. The food was mediocre, especially the choice and execution of the main course. The service, however, was more than fine. Then the comedians, well... This is outsourced to an organization, so Komaen has no control over it. I understand that up-and-coming comedians might occasionally have a less successful performance, but all three were disappointing, and the main act didn't live up to expectations either, and the broad Amsterdam accent was sometimes difficult to understand. We did have a pleasant evening, but mainly thanks to our own company.

An absolute gem of a restaurant and more. Many facilities available. Suitable for all kinds of events, groups, and organizations. The menu has been carefully selected. The drink selection is also more than excellent. Hospitality and professionalism are paramount here. This venue is truly more than highly recommended. What a fantastic day we had! We were first welcomed at the cozy restaurant. Then, after Willem's explanation, we played nine holes on the pitch and put course (great fun!). The BBQ was also excellent, and the staff were very helpful and flexible. To round things off, we set up a blackjack table ourselves, which was definitely a success. Thanks again to Komaen for our fantastic staff party.

It was a Wednesday, so it wasn't busy. We received a friendly welcome. The menu is nicely laid out, so you won't be overwhelmed by the choice. Vegetarians are also welcome. Don't expect culinary highlights, but you will get a delicious meal, because the chef is a real expert.

A really good menu and a great atmosphere.

We came here for a lovely lunch. This was included in the Kempen cycling route, which we started in Vessem. It was excellently organized! That alone is a recommendation. We could choose from several menus, including the chef's daily special. The staff was friendly and very enthusiastic and service-oriented. I consider that a huge plus. We had a truly delicious meal. I had the croquettes on bread, and they were perfect. The carpaccio salad and pulled chicken burger also received high praise. We will definitely be back. The outdoor terrace is very cozy and spacious. A truly delightful culinary recommendation.

We celebrated our vacation here after work with a delicious BBQ. Even though there were several groups present, we were separated by the plants. Perfect! The BBQ itself was under a canopy, so even in the rain, it wasn't a problem. There's a small playground for the little ones. Beautiful location! Cozy! Good food!

I was at a party here, where we did some fat biking and e-chopper riding, among other things. It was fantastic, and the route was incredibly fun. Afterward, we had a delicious BBQ at the restaurant. In short: Highly recommended!

Garden seats are great and relaxing. But, can be a bit depending on who are sitting next to your table. We encountered a large family group who were very very loud. Food were great. I had a korean fried chicken burger. I can confirm the fried chicken is the one, so far, the most close to original taste should be. But sauce still require update. It is not korean sauce yet but still taste oke. Food were in great presentation and great portion! There seems to be a short par 3 course next to the garden. Wpuld be interesting for friends to visits as well.

Team outing Safety Region Brabant-Zuidoost – A hole-in-one experience at KOMAEN! ⛳🔥 For our team outing 2025 with the Training & Practice department of the Safety Region Brabant-Zuidoost, KOMAEN was chosen – and what a bull's eye it was! The location is easily accessible and really offers something for everyone. We went for the 18-hole golf course and received a clear and enthusiastic explanation of the game in advance. Even the colleagues who had never held a golf club before were enthusiastically busy on the green in no time! 😄 After a sporty afternoon we were treated to a perfectly prepared BBQ. Delicious food, well-grilled meat, fries, sauces, baguette, fresh salads and a cold drink – what more could you want? The friendly staff and fast service made it complete. In short: a great day with colleagues at a great location. Thank you KOMAEN for your hospitality.

Nice big terrace. Great for a nice lunch, even with a dog. Tips: The knives could be a bit sharper, because I couldn't cut the crust off my sandwich. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken, so a nice latte macchiato was out of the question. The service was busy, so it took a while before the order was taken. But that can happen. Hence the 4 stars. Furthermore, friendly service.

What a mess. It looked very nice and cozy, so we sat down with the bike for lunch. We had to move twice before the staff even saw us. We ordered a drink and the lunch menu. The drinks came and were gone before the lunch menu came. No stars for the food, because we went somewhere else for lunch.

Had lunch with family (9p) this afternoon. Friendly and attentive staff. Without being pushy, they keep a close eye on whether someone wants to drink something. All family members really enjoyed their meal. Price quality excellent.

Met valentijnsdag hebben wij meegedaan aan dating in the dark. Hierbij werden we verrast met een heerlijk 5 gangen menu dat op en top verzorgd was. De bediening was super en de sfeer was echt heel erg romantisch. Mijn partner en ik hebben echt een top avond gehad. Nogmaals bedankt team Komaen!! :)

Riding an e-scooter is fun with a group of friends if you visit a few terraces along the way

Wij waren gezellig aan het touren en hadden zin in een drankje en iets bij de borrel. De nachos pulled park gekozen. Ze zijn met 12,50 euro aan de sure kant, maaaaaarrrr wat zijn ze dit meer san waard!!! De mix, opmaak en smaak zijn echt waanzinnig lekker. Een absolute aanrader.

Today I took the white ham/cheese sandwich, Pff I am very disappointed, that is not a sandwich, just 2 thick slices of primeval bread with a slice of ham and melted cheese placed under the grill, oh yes, a little cut of green leaves of spring onions.

We made an online reservation for the pitch and putt. We had not received confirmation of our reservation online, but luckily it was fine. We started it after a short concise explanation. We were very unlucky when the storm struck and it suddenly started to thunder and rain/hail. We still fled inside (but let me say that this is really a long way from hole 8). So we came back completely soaked. Fortunately, the staff was kind enough to offer us dry clothes and put our clothes in their dryer. A big and sincere thank you for this! Then we had dinner. Everything was very tasty. Good service who always came on time to ask if everything was okay and if they wanted anything else. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Both the golf and the food, despite the weather. But this gives us an extra reason to definitely come back!

I would give advice to the chef about the Toasti Salmon, it is not edible and it costs a bit, especially for all the pieces of cold cucumbers in it etc. for the rest it is perfect
