Kota Radja in Posterholt

Got food for two people three times this week! The service was excellent and the food was delicious for a reasonable price! Nothing negative to say! Definitely worth repeating, highly recommended!

On vacation in beautiful Roerdalen, we decided to take it easy and get Chinese takeout from Kota Radja in Posterholt. We were pleasantly surprised, because the food was delicious. The restaurant is a bit dated, but that also has its charm. It was busy, so you have to be patient, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food. I travel all over the Netherlands for my work and often sample Chinese cuisine. If you're craving Chinese food near Posterholt in Limburg, you should definitely stop by.

You do have to be careful when going to Kota Radja. If you go when the owner is behind the counter with her husband in the kitchen, it's okay. But if you go when her sister (I think) is behind the counter with HER husband in the kitchen, it's a disaster. The quality is much lower, and the wait time is drastic. Last time, on Sunday, I had to go back because the quality of what I got was completely unacceptable. While I was there, there were complaints from some people waiting, saying, "How long will it take? We've already been waiting for 45 minutes!" I used to go regularly, but now much less often. Another reason is that prices have risen so much in the last few years that I can go to an Italian or Greek restaurant for the same price for a pleasant evening out.

Recently ordered takeout. Since our usual restaurant was closed, we went to Kota Radja. We bought Chinese rice table and Indonesian rice table. The meat in the Indonesian rice table, which was very small, was also very bad. It looked bad, the blood was still visible, and the taste was bad. We threw it away. Furthermore, it was mostly just a lot of small containers with very little good stuff. The taste was far below par, and the price was still quite high. A real shame. We're used to quite a few Chinese restaurants, but we're crossing this one off our list and won't be visiting again. The restaurant itself also looks like a faded glory. The only positive was the friendly service.

Have been enjoying take-away food for years. But the quality has declined considerably. I have often had the vegetables overcooked (not fresh), such as in the tjap tjoi. The meat dishes have become inconsistent. Sometimes it works, then again far too much tendon and fatty meat. Then again a lot of sauce (watery) little meat and vice versa. Also, some dishes, including tjap tjoi/stew meat-like dishes, are really far too salty! Inconsistent. I hope something will change, so that I can come back in the future and adjust my review positively. But I'm sorry, but for now a big fail.

Super tasty food for a very reasonable price. Extremely friendly service by the very hospitable and talkative owner. Really recommended!

Very friendly service, reasonable prices and the food is excellent.

Delicious food, fast service, and absolutely adequate portions. The only criticism is that they're not particularly cheap. But it's okay! When was the last time I got a 0.2-liter Coke? 🤣

Last week I bought the most expensive portion of nasi goreng ever: €7.50. Turned out to be just fried white rice without a trace of vegetables or meat. An egg and a slice of ham. Never again. Went back later and reported my complaint. They acted as if they knew nothing and nothing was done about it. Very unprofessional.

We regularly get take-out and it is always very tasty. And yes, we usually get the monthly menu. Simply delicious and lots of it. Their Chinese tomato soup is highly recommended. The restaurant looks dated, but the people are friendly and that is important to us.

The stories in Posterholt and the reviews are characterized by extremes. From very nice to real rejection. Have now eaten at Kota Radja twice. Food is excellent, owner super friendly, ask and she will try to make it happen. Decoration is sober and dated. But the intense kindness and doing good makes up for it completely. Highly recommended.

Picked up Chinese food today. Food was already cold when I got home ten minutes later. Tjaptjoi contained a few pieces of meat, mainly just bean sprouts, and very salted. No, an absolute no go for us!

This restaurant was recommended to us with the tip quote: THE BEST CHIINESE IN THE AREA. To be honest, it's difficult for me to even give it one star. I've never eaten anything like it or just tried it. None of the dishes were seasoned, the fried noodles and rice were completely tasteless. The main courses cannot be described or defined... I am really speechless and very disappointed. The only thing that was salty was the price. I wonder what food the 5-star reviewers are used to or what they eat, but anyone who is used to good Chinese cuisine and loves it shouldn't bother with this...

We had a delicious meal here and you will receive a really friendly welcome. The only downside was that the trays with food were only placed on 1 stove, so the entire tray was not heated and a number of dishes were no longer very warm.

Chinese restaurant good food, less to eat, a little too little atmosphere, but you don't have to do the dishes yourself, which of course makes a difference.

For the second time in a row the food was not tasty. We wanted to give the restaurant another chance after the first time. You could bend the croup poop, it was so weak and old. Babipangang with hardly any sauce, tasteless satay sauce and tough pork and beef. We're done with it. Moreover, it also became quite expensive compared to the old order list that we still had at home. Never again for us.

After waiting more than 40 (!!) minutes for the food (takeaway), a dish that we had paid for was also missing when we got home. The lady behind the bar, cash register, service was very busy, had to do everything alone and was quite curt. The food tasted okay, but wasn't very good. Cha sieu was dry and hard and the chicken satay was in a beige-like sauce (color resembled mushroom sauce)

Kota Radja is the best Chinese in the area, in my opinion. The people are friendly and the food is delicious. And you can eat in the restaurant, or you can order in advance by telephone. But you can also just go there and order at the counter. The prices are not too bad, and if you pick up you will have a quiet day the next day because then you don't have to cook. Because then you can enjoy Chinese food again.

We have been coming here for quite some time. Food was always good until two weeks ago. The food was not good, dirty wet porridge rice and the babipangang had all kinds of lumps of fat, the mini spring rolls were also greasy 🤮🤢 Very bad, I will never order from here again.

I have been coming here for over 25 years and in all that time I have never had a complaint about the food served, either in the restaurant or when taking it away. Always tasty and you are always served politely and friendly

We are staying at the Landalpark Aerwinkel park during this Corona time. Ordered delicious food from the local Chinese. Indian rice table for 2 people. We really got a lot. Nasi was with little filling. But otherwise good. In my opinion, the taste difference between the dishes could be better. Are we a bit critical? Put on face masks and the walking route was well arranged 👍🏻
