Delicious pancakes and friendly, efficient service. Beautiful location.

We had another delicious meal at the Huifkarhoeve this afternoon; the pancakes were delicious again. Thanks Danny for the great service, a 10 for friendliness and hospitality 👍🏻👍🏻😘

Very tasty pancakes that are a bit thicker in the middle, delicious! Plenty of toppings. Friendly service. Only the high chair was really dirty, so I had to clean it myself with a cloth. Nice location with two restaurants and a large playground. Ample parking.

Skewed pancakes (thick on one side, thin on the other) made them very floury and undercooked. Also, people smoking, which made everything taste even less good.

The pancakes were very thin on one side and very thick on the other, so they arrived at our table undercooked. Children's pancakes are the same size as adult pancakes. The outdoor furniture wasn't very comfortable. Service was quick and friendly, though.

Delicious pancakes (also lactose and/or gluten free) in a beautiful building. Also not expensive.

Pancakes were ordinary, I've had better ones and worse ones. Children received a nice coin for a gift from the vending machine, which they were very happy with. Staff friendly. Atmosphere was mediocre (maybe just today?), we were almost the only ones and there were preparations for a party which made it all feel a bit chaotic. Also a shame: on the website it looks like you have a large playground at the pancake restaurant (sounds ideal: kids can play while waiting for food), but this is not part of the restaurant at all. That was actually the main reason for us to choose this restaurant. All in all not a bad experience, but it could be better.

The pancakes, including the gluten-free version, were good. One point of concern, however, is the German waitress with limited Dutch, which almost meant the gluten-free pancake wasn't even considered gluten-free.

Delicious pancakes. Large area with paddocks and lots of restaurants. Located a bit out of the way and quiet. Child-friendly and of course easy to reach by bike.

I always think it's good if you can make a reservation online, then you can be sure that the restaurant is open and a table is available. It worked well here and I received another email in the morning as a reminder. The Huifkarhoeve is nicely and originally decorated, the service was very friendly and the pancakes were delicious. But one thing still surprises me (and I forgot to ask on site): On the German and English versions of the website you can read “Burgundy enjoyment in the Huifkarhoeve since 1991!” or "In restaurant De Huifkarhoeve you can enjoy Burgundian for lunch and dinner!" However, there is nothing about this in the Dutch version. I ask what the pancakes have to do with Burgundy.

The food is delicious, but it takes forever between starter, main and dessert.

We spent a very nice Sunday evening here with very nice staff and delicious pancakes.

Top pancake house! They made vegan pancakes for us even though they weren't on the menu. Really great. The chef had brought us pancakes himself and explained that they were made without egg and milk. Highly recommended

Lekker de koffie was lekker en gebak

3 juli 2022. Een fijne dag gehad bij de Huifkarhoeve, Een heerlijk stuk vla met koffie voorafgaand aan de huifkartocht en eindigend met een diner. Uit eigen beweging hadden het personeel een fantastische plaats voor ons gereserveerd waar wij, ondanks dat het druk was, heerlijk rustig hebben gezeten. Dankjewel daarvoor. het was mede door jullie een fijne dag!

Lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening. Hebben met de kinderen erbij niet lang hoeven wachten, extra pluspunt!

Zoals altijd weer heerlijk gegeten in dit gezellige en mooie restaurant, met altijd vriendelijke bediening

Fijn plekje voor even een tussenstop te maken met de fiets. Vriendelijke en snelle bediening. Jammer van de mensen die naar je zitten te roken. Bederft wel een beetje de pret. Zouden het terras moeten opdelen in niet roken en roken. Kan heel vervelend zijn ook als je buiten zit.

Top bediening en super locatie! Altijd gezellig en lekker eten. Ons zoontje is helemaal dol op de schnitzels met champignon roomsaus!! Heerlijk vertoeve bij de Huifkarhoeve ;-)

Alleen open in weekend! Kleine binnenruimte. Kleine kaart. Grote porties. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar aan de hoeve

Gisteren even wat gedronken. Personeel was wel vriendelijk maar de regels rond Covid-19 waren niet echt duidelijk. Formulier met gegevens werd niet door iedereen netjes ingevuld ( vooral niet door duitsers, hier mag alles en moet niets) beetje jammer!!! Misschien een tip voor restaurant om dit ook in het Duits aan te kondigen en duitse formulieren

Wie immer sehr gut. Und die Bedienung ist immer freundlich es macht Freude dorthin zu kommen.

Nach einer Wanderung im idyllischen Umland sind wir mit unserer Gruppe von 12 Personen im Huifkarhoeve eingekehrt. Wir bekamen problemlos einen gemütlichen, ovalen Tisch entsprechend der Personenzahl zugewiesen, wurden sehr nett, freundlich und zügig bedient. Kaffee und Kuchen waren lecker und von kleinen Portionen konnte keine Rede sein. Wer so etwas behauptet, ist wohl dem großen Fressen zugetan. Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend, es ist in jeder Hinsicht eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Immer wieder gerne.
