Really disappointed with Strandpaviljoen Kroon on my recent visit. The food quality has gone downhill significantly compared to before. Everything was way too greasy, and the salads were practically swimming in mayonnaise. It used to be a great spot, but it's definitely not what it used to be

Fantastic! We had Visburger and kibbeling, cooked to perfection with delicious remu. I don't understand some of the comments here; this is a food truck right by the sea with absolutely reasonable prices. The service was friendly and attentive. Keep it up!

I ate the herring from here… it was bad. Old, mushy and I felt so sick after eating it, that I went to the toilet to vomit. Definitely not fresh, and not a great feeling from the staff who sold it to me either. I guess when it’s cheap, it’s for a reason…

We had a fish and chips and a herring roll, and both were delicious! We also had an egg salad, which was good too. Everything tasted fresh and was reasonably priced! Nice location and friendly service 👍🏻

One Michelin star for the calamari! 🦑 I've rarely eaten such good calamari! And the service was lovely too – what more could you want! 😋

I recommend trying the Kibbeling with tartar sauce. I tried it for the first time on recommendation, and it was truly delicious.

I hadn't tried the herring sandwich before, and it seemed like a nice treat to eat it while looking at the sea. It was delicious, the service was good, a seagull on the roof snatched my sandwich out of my hand and they gave me another one free of charge

Dit is was voor mij de laatste keer dat ik daar heen ga en ik adviseer iedereen om niet daar heen te gaan. Personeel is echt vreselijk onbeschoft geen enkele fatsoen of respect naar de klanten toe, je wordt behandeld alsof je bij de voedselbank staat te bedelen. je betaalt 12 euro voor een paar brokken kibbeling en een klodder saus en dan wordt je behandeld alsof je staat te bedelen ze begrijpen niet dat dit hun brood winning is en dat je met honing meer bijen vangt dan met azijn. En dan nog gaan roepen "je bent hier niet meer welkom" als je ze op hun gedrag aanspreekt, aush, wat een straf!! Ik wens die jongens heel veel succes, als ze zo door gaan dan kunnen beter achter de vulliswagen gaan staan misschien voelen zich daar meer thuis.

Ich will nicht sagen, dass es Betrug ist, was die da machen, aber... meiner Meinung nach war es genau das. Meine Frau bestellte "Zeebanket", eine Mischung aus Garnelen, Kibbeling und anderen Sachen, wie man auf dem oberen Bild sehen kann. Sie bekam Sardinen, die dort eigentlich nicht enthalten waren und ein Schollenfilet (fürs Gewicht?) Beide waren jeweils der billigste Fisch dort. Zumindest einige andere Dinge, die man sehen kann, waren dabei... NIE WIEDER... I don't want to say, it's a fraud but... it was in my opinion. My wife ordered "Zeebanket", a Mix of Shrimps and Kibbeling and other stuff like you can see on the first picture. She got some Sardines, which was not shown there and a plaice fillet, which were both the cheapest fish there and at least some other things you can see...

There's no room for this stable; they might have moved. We were advised to get our kibbeling from him.

Ate the kibbeling, it was tasteless and watery. The sauce was also tasteless and watered down. This was the last time for us.

Once and never again! The clerk was in a really bad mood. When we ordered, and it apparently wasn't "fast enough" for him, he reacted extremely annoyed. He himself, however, took all the time in the world with his "work"... There were no other customers there (hardly surprising in retrospect), and yet we waited almost a quarter of an hour for three small portions of fries swimming in ketchup and two warmed-up, oily, and far too fat-battered plaice fillets. The plaice fillets we originally ordered without(!) any "extras" ended up being plaice fillets with(!) extras, which the young man rudely threw at us on the counter – to go with the meal. When we expressed irritation at this, and that the already overpriced meal suddenly amounted to a whopping €30, he replied, "We were too stupid to read the menu." (Customer) friendliness seems to be a complete foreign concept to this person. Not to mention the crap you get "served" for way too much money. Someone like him should be working in a job where social incompetence doesn't play a role... Although deserved, we can't give this zero stars. P.S. The seagulls, on the other hand, get 5 stars – contrary to what the other reviews might suggest. The seller could learn a thing or two from their behavior!

Simply the best fish on Zandvoort's beach. Dining right by the sea, what more could you want!

Delicious! The fries were also really crunchy.

Unfortunately no menus. The kibbeling was OK. But I've had much better food north of Zandvoort, on the promenade, in the direction of Bloemendaal. Still, I give the food three stars. Was hungry ;)

Very bad service, no price tags, no signs explaining the menu, nothing. Rude in case of questions and the taste was very poor. Don’t try it.

Au bord de la plage, possibilité de manger sur place ou à emporter des produits locaux de la mer. Le poisson frit a été préparé minute devant nous, il était servi avec 3 sauces. Attention aux oiseaux qui viennent aussi se restaurer ;-)

Very bad, today a shrimp sandwich with a maximum of 30 shrimps, a hard old sandwich and a little sauce for only €8.50.... that's really no joke and my husband's bickering was just as expensive, but without the sandwich , fries or something....no price list, only mini plates where you have to add the sandwich and the sandwiches are really not worth the money!!!! Never again, really...very bad, unfriendly appearance

Delicious sea food with convenience. Top value for money.

Sehr gute Auswahl und echt lecker. Haben Kibbeling gegessen. Wird direkt frisch mit Panade eingerieben und anschliessend frittiert. Achtet nur auf Möven, die kreisen um euch 😅

I had a fresh and delicious "Lekkerbek" fish with sauce which was perfect for a short break on a bike ride along the beach.
