Kruimig frietmakerij in Centrum

Where did the fries with the skin go? We're fans of Kruimig, but last time we had "regular" fries in the container. The taste was also noticeably different. Too bad...

Today (02-07) we got fries. We are regular customers and come here regularly. However, the quality of the fries today deviates greatly from what we are normally used to. The fries were limp, seemed to come from other potatoes, and there were no peels on them, for example. The product was reminiscent of standard frozen fries. If the usual fries are not available, consider temporarily closing to prevent deviations in quality. Otherwise, this could possibly have consequences for customer retention.

Delicious fries, best place in the area

First time eating here and the fries (for those who want, Patat) were particularly tasty. Friendly staff and the atmosphere a little less eaten because you order and eat outside.

I expected just a chip shop, but this is more than that! The menu, the presentation, the terrace - 10/10, would friet the entire menu!

I dare you to find better fries anywhere. Great selection of sauces, toppings, always fresh. Fair price for what you get - top quality! Something for everyone and a separate fryer so gluten free people can also enjoy. We love Kruimig!

Delicious unique fries. If I'm in the area I'd love to drop by. Especially the animal style fries and the cheese croquette are my favorites. They only have outdoor seating. The order is always ready on time.

Used to be the best fries in Wageningen by far. Today, we got standard, frozen supermarket fries instead of the delicious freshly cut and fried fries they used to serve. Disappointing; hoping this is a temporary thing due to supply issues or something Edit: great to hear it was a temporary thing! Factory fries are okay for once but glad that the fresh ones will be back next time :)

For years it has been a place where you like to get something and where you can eat outside when the weather is nice. Always good and consistent quality and friendly staff.

Really nice warm atmosphere, both in winter with a lot of lights. They have many options of mayo, all tasty, including plant based. Fries are great, I give 4 stars instead of 5 only because sometimes are slightly too crunchy/dry for my taste, other times are perfect, crunchy outside and soft inside.

Absolutely recommended when visiting Wageningen, I have never found flavors like these in Belgium. Really great.

Asked some young people from the neighborhood where they could get good fries and they recommended Kruimige. Wow, what a surprise! Creative fries menus and snacks. I had the fries with parmesan cheese and truffle mayo and blue cheese mayo. As a snack, the jackfruit frikandels. Delicious! Another variation on a theme!

A matter of taste of course, but I don't necessarily think this is an ode to freshly baked fries. It's greasy, not crunchy. Texture is not good. While fresh fries can be so incredibly tasty. _------------- Update, nothing changed. People who know what good fries are would absolutely not recommend this establishment. Way too greasy, not crispy. Soggy actually. And way too expensive.

Well look, the food is really delicious, and they are super sweet here, but it is on the overpriced side for what you get. So it is highly recommended if you want to spend a little too much money one evening. In addition, a nice place to sit, a bit bare, but they try to create an atmosphere.

Are you going to get fries and a special frikadel for €7.80 at your average snack bar, or are you going to pay 2 euros extra and get a unique vegan shawarma fries with particularly tasty sauces and ingredients on top of extremely crispy fries with just the right amount of salt? Yes clearly. Floury is actually too good for us, what a blessing. Enjoy it while you can!

It was my first time here and I had a delicious meal. They have various applications on fries. They have a terrace in front of the door where you can sit. There was a lot of traffic. Nice to end after an afternoon of shopping

Delicious fries, really tasty. Lots of choice of excellent sauces for your fries. Also tasty snacks (recommended: 'mudballs', which are meatballs in peanut sauce). It is a bit more expensive than the standard snack bar, but you definitely get value for your money. You can eat outside, but you will be almost directly on the street. Not that the owner can do anything about it, but: a few days ago someone came to pick something up with a car, and the driver stayed right next to the terrace with the smelly engine running - annoying when you're eating.

This is our regular stop on every visit in the area - a place where quality, friendliness and taste come together for an uncomplicated moment of enjoyment. The best fries I've ever had. Really highly recommended! I sometimes go to Wageningen especially for that... Only options to sit outside, so very cold in the winter, but hey, anything for those fries! Cozy terrace, even in January: lights, seats! They have many options for snacks and combos, including vegan and vegetarian. No experience with it, but it all looks good!

According to the chip shop himself, he didn't have sweet potato fries, but he did have the best fries in the Netherlands. Well that certainly wasn't the case. Now I know quite a bit about fries and I can say that due to the difference in size, the small pieces were much too hard and the large ones were not fried crispy enough. The Vega croquette, which deserves some attention with the not so very low price of four euros, could enjoy an extra long hot, fat bath, which of course results in bursting and deflating. In short, fun. Yes, but the frying skills do not justify the rates charged.

Great snack bar. People were friendly and the food was okay. Homemade fries Frikandel Standard. When the weather is nice you can eat well before the snack bar.

Well equipped for vegan but not for gluten-free, which was a bit disappointing. The fries are fried separately and are therefore gluten-free, but then they are fries without a snack. Too bad you can't sit inside.

We were craving fries on our way back to Germany from a weekend getaway in Delft and what can I say: the 20 min detour we took was absolutely worth it. The fries were delicious and the toppings exquisite!

It is said it's the best 'restaurant' in town. also the first food tried in Wageningen. I.have to admit the fries are really lekker, I tried sth typical Dutch, and also more salty ones. Unbelievablly friendly and kind service! Don't miss it when hanging out with friends🙉🙉

Hi, every time I come over there is less meat in my pickled meat fries. In the meantime, I think it's better to call it fries with some pickled meat sauce.
