We had a great evening here with four people. Delicious food and friendly, efficient service. The plates also looked beautiful. The wild mushroom soup was flavorful and the duck breast very tender. Those who like vegetables would be better off ordering an extra bowl of salad, and for every four people there were two cones of fries with a little extra fries on some plates. This can also be ordered extra. Cozy atmosphere inside. For three drinks and a starter and main course, we spent less than €45.00 p.p. Highly recommended!

We had an incredibly delicious meal! The menu is just a little different from what you're used to at many restaurants, and we really enjoyed that. Additionally, the service was incredibly pleasant and cheerful. We were regularly asked if everything was to our liking, without it feeling too much or intrusive. In short: we had a wonderful evening and we will definitely be back soon! ❤️

I went to this restaurant today with my mother and daughter. The restaurant was quite full, which could have been a good sign. But no one came to serve us, so we sat down at a table ourselves and waited: 5, 10, 15 minutes. The waitresses saw us, but didn't bother to offer us the menu or drinks. I tried to speak to them several times, but I was completely ignored. After waiting for 20 minutes, we decided to leave. I have never been ignored like this in my life. I do not recommend the restaurant and I will not be returning.

Worthless experience (Tuesday afternoon, July 21). I visited this restaurant with my pregnant daughter and my 3-year-old granddaughter. Upon arrival, the only available table was dirty. We sat down, and after a while, the dirty plates were cleared away, but after that, we were completely ignored. Other tables that arrived later were served, while my daughter sat waiting hungry and with a headache. No one came by to bring the menu or ask what we wanted to order. It seemed as if they had to do us a favor, even though we are just paying customers. After a long wait, we just got up and left, and the staff didn't care at all. Unprofessional, rude, and absolutely not hospitable. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Always a pleasure to sit on the terrace at Krul. Good food, polite service, nice people. The menu isn't extensive, but it does have extra dishes of the week twice; so we took those. Black halibut; nice and light in the warm weather.

Started off nicely on the terrace with an iced coffee. Then asked for the lunch menu ourselves. Enjoyed a delicious lunch, bread carpaccio. Highly recommended! Friendly service. There was still plenty of room on the terrace and everything was still available inside as well.

A pleasant terrace where we had a drink first. We wanted to sit in the front part of the restaurant and had indicated this in advance. Once there, the waitress stated that this was not possible. Which in itself would be possible, but it was still empty and we mainly felt that no effort was being made or that anyone was being helpful. We found this very disappointing because we were subsequently seated next to the open kitchen and the toilets, and it also did not come across as friendly. Otherwise, the service was fine.

We were with a large group having coffee with a pastry. The service was very friendly and the pastry delicious. However, the cups were only filled halfway. Is that due to a coffee machine set to be stingy? What a shame...

Actually, comparison is no longer possible: Krul has been the only place we go to in Aalten for ages. It can easily compete with big-city restaurants and stands out far above them in terms of service. If I may offer just one point of criticism: the acoustics could be a bit better. Our next reservation has already been made.

A good restaurant with good food. We had two waiters serving us. It seemed as if one of them didn't feel like working. That was a minor blemish on an otherwise successful evening.

The atmosphere is great. It was nice and warm on this rainy day. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. Friendly gentlemen.

The starter was very good. The main course was a disappointment. A large plate with one skewer containing 5 pieces of chicken would have totaled approximately 100 grams of meat, along with 2 pieces of bell pepper, 3 slices of carrot, and 2 cups of sauce. This is far too much sauce considering the small portion of meat you get. At €21, I think this dish is quite expensive. You have to order a salad separately for €3.50, which is again a small portion with a drop of sauce. Fries were included with the main course and didn't have to be paid extra. I found the dessert selection very limited, with only 3 choices. This, like the previous one, is a personal opinion. The staff is very friendly and regularly asks if everything is to your liking. The location is clean and tidy. Easily accessible by bike. By car, you might have to walk a bit, as there are few parking spaces nearby.

We enjoyed an evening with you! We started with a delicious cocktail and a craft beer. There's a wide selection on the cocktail menu. Then we enjoyed a delicious dinner. We had three different courses, and they were all equally delicious. Krul is a place I love to visit. There's always a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, the service is great, and the food is always delicious! We sat inside, but in the summer, the terrace is also a fantastic spot to relax.

Everything was great; we had a delicious meal from the menu on Christmas Day, with an excellent "kids' menu" for our four grandchildren aged 4, 5, 7, and 9! We were also pleasantly surprised by the price! Compliments to the chef and the staff!

That was a good choice too: delicious pumpkin soup, a tasty black halibut fillet, and a superb, beautifully presented cheesecake. So we ate here the second night as well.
